Robb had broken his word, but Catelyn kept hers. She tugged hard on Aegon’s hair and sawed at his neck until the blood grated on bone. Blood ran hot over her fingers. His little bells were ringing, ringing, ringing, and the drum went boom doom boom.

Finally someone took the knife away from her. The tears burned like vinegar as they ran down her cheeks. Ten fierce ravens were raking her face with sharp talons and tearing off strips of flesh, leaving deep furrows that ran red with blood. She could taste it on her lips.

As the slaughter rages, Catelyn manages to get one hostage the cowering Jinglebell. Unfortunately, Walder Frey is not the best example of a family man.

Here, we have Catelyn's last desperate stand. It gives her a tiny shred of agency before her end. I tried to do a combination of desperation and defiance.

Since I think he’s as much of a victim as the Northerners are, I also tried to emphasize Jinglebell's terror.

Also, because of all the things happening, this is the first time I've ever shown Catelyn's hair.

i was trying to make some adoptable designs to maybe make a little extra cash but i fell so deeply in love with this guy immediately so i'm keeping him. balthazar nycolas alpenshard, bazzy for short. a d&d 5e wizard who desperately wanted to be a bard, but his parents were steadfast that no son of theirs would debase himself for a living, and his negative charisma prevents him from multiclassing. he does his best to live the jester life anyway.

Jeyne Lydden, the second wife of Stevron Frey, with their children, Aegon "Jinglebell" Frey and Maegelle Frey.

Headcanons: Jeyne died giving birth to Maegelle. Stevron is fond of his middle children but also sees Aegon as an issue to be handled because of his developmental disability and Maegelle as the reason his favorite wife is dead.

Aegon didn't choose to be the house jester and it bothers him a fair amount, but he's found pretty quickly he won't get any support being anything but that and has settled into that role, As You Do. He's found his own joy in it and is genuinely very funny.

Maegelle definitely had her own developmental issues but not in ways that are seen as such by the broader Westerosi culture, partially because her symptoms mostly weren't problems for her family. She's very much a Sansa-type autistic, making being a lady and running her household her special interest. Unfortunately she lives with a lot of internalized ableism and is terrified of being seen as any way like Aegon, or her children being seen to be any way like Aegon, so is harsh on herself and her kids both. :/
