I look so mad here, lol, but I'm not. I'm concentrating on how my hair looks on the back of my head. My hair is growing back fine there, but not so much along my hairline. I'm working with a dermatologist now, and eczema is the culprit. Getting and keeping the inflammation down should help, but I'm trying to prepare myself in case it doesn't. Hair thinning and loss also runs in my family, so I'm fighting on that front, too.

I'm less bummed than I should be considering this and the extended pain flare that's been kicking my butt. The good news is that I have more than just 1-2 good hours on good days and that I'm getting closer to my fat loss goals. Smaller clothing sizes make me smile. My giant feet, though, remain giant. 🤣

I'm wearing purple on pi day to celebrate Women in STEM and to encourage more women to Choose to Challenge themselves. I graduated with a degree in computer science in 1992. If you believe in yourself, anything is possible.

I should mention when I was composing this post, my youngest daughter Alyssah corrected me. She indicated it isn't just STEM. It's STEAM. It includes Art.

This is a Yes.Fit Virtual Race I completed today. There was a time I could've completed this in a day or a few without really trying. Now it takes me considerably longer. I find what's important to me these days isn't finishing first. It's not quitting. It's completing what I started. It's finishing the race. I suppose that's why I like these Virtual Races. I only answer to myself. I'm only competing with myself. I'll only disappoint or make myself proud. That's how I strive to live my life. No one is going to be just strong for me, except me.

Did I want to get up and work out this morning? Not really. My scale has been stagnant for a while and it’s been a big hit to my motivation. But I got out and hit the gym anyway!
