Marvels After Credit Scene that Didn't Happen but is Canon in My Heart:

So I really want a scene of one of the Flerkittens (white with blue eyes) to be wandering around the street meowing and then we see boots coming up to it and two hands reach out and then you see it.

The metal arm.

It picks up the kitten and walks off, maybe if you're feeling really fancy maybe a few lines of quiet "hey, hey, it's okay Sweetheart" or something like that and then BOOM we have Alpine in the MCU

Then cut to Thunderbolts and Bucky still has no idea that Al is a Flerken until they're in a fight and she gets attacked and Bucky is terrified they're gonna hurt his cat and then Alpine just gobbles them up and then like Yelena is like "JAMES BARNES WHAT THE FUCK"... Cut to Bucky looking equal parts horrified and impressed and just picks up Alpine and goes "uh...good girl?"

Carol and Sam are both in Louisiana so they're best friends now Sarah loves her and Cass and AJ go over to her house after school and follow her around. Goose ADORES them and Sam is slightly terrified of Goose because of the whole tentacles thing and Sam has DEFINITELY taken Carol out on the boat and he helps her do upkeep with the plane and Carol loves watching Aj and Cass for Sarah because they remind her of Monica as a kid. one of them calls her "aunt carol" once and she and she just "🥺🥹" I'm sorry I don't make the rules

Okay but Bucky being friends with the Space-Based heroes

Carol showing Bucky the Skrull Memory band and letting him use it to recover memories of his family and childhood that he thought HYDRA had well and truly beaten out of him

Mantis using her powers to help Bucky sleep, like she used to with Ego, and her being happy that she can help a good person find some peace this time

Rocket understanding what Bucky has been through better than most. When he's working on the ship or weapons or something Bucky comes and sits with him and he explains what he's doing and why and Bucky is super interested and always asks a ton of questions

Kraglin taking Bucky to Nowhere and showing him around and Bucky being enraptured by it because he's a giant fuckin nerd

Cosmo absolutely loving playing with Bucky, he's also the only one who speaks Russian to her

In a similar vein, Goose absolutely ADORING Bucky and maybe sending one of her kittens with him so we can get Flerkitten!Alpine

Nebula and Bucky talking best practice for prosthetic maintenance, and bonding over the fact they've both lost their sisters, one to old age and one to... *Gestures to IW*, as well as the fact that, like Rocket, she gets what he's been through better than most

Drax and Bucky sparring and Bucky realizing he's one of the few people he can spar with and not worry about hurting

Thor teaching Bucky about the 9 worlds like he did Jane in Thor 1 and Bucky being absolutely fascinated also Bucky is ABSOLUTELY worthy of picking up Mjolnir. He doesn't try because he doesn't think he is, but Thor knows. Just like he did with Steve.

Valkyrie and Bucky being bi disaster squad drinking buddies. They hang out and drink Asgardian mead (Bucky is shocked when it gets him drunk for the first time in 70 years), talking about the people they've lost, doing what they can to keep their memories alive. She lets him ride Warsong once and Bucky is freaked out because "god dammit Val I've never ridden a normal horse before let alone a fucking flying one". He figures it out enough to have fun eventually

Star-Lord making Bucky a playlist of all of the best music that he missed. He also ABSOLUTELY makes Bucky watch Footloose and though he refuses to admit it to Peter he ended up really liking it

Bucky loving being around Phylla when he hangs with the Guardians and Love when he's with Thor because they remind him of his sister when she was young

I know there are other space based heroes but these were the ones I could think of, I just like the idea of Bucky having a bunch of friends and being a giant nerd with them 🥺🥹

I've seen a lot of theories about what Bucky did to make money in Romania and I put forth:

Math tutor Bucky.

Like. Think about it. Not only did it mention he excelled in the classroom on his Smithsonian description at the end of TWS, but Bucky was a sniper, meaning he had to know a LOT of math, and I doubt that'd be something HYDRA would want to brainwash out of him seeing as he'd need that during his Winter Soldier years. He speaks Romanian so he can talk to the kids, and even though how math is taught may have changed since the 40s he can still teach them a way that gets them to the correct answer. Maybe some might find his way of doing it easier even idk.

I don't know how it would start or why parents would suddenly start trusting their kids to be around this sad hobo looking man that they're 99% sure is squatting in an apartment (in my headcanon he is), but eventually they end up trusting him and he kinda likes it. He doesn't make much money off it, but the parents pay in cash so it isn't traceable (good for someone on the run), and it pays enough that he's able to buy food, do laundry, and maybe some new clothes if he saves up. Or at least, some things from the local thrift store.

I also like to think at least one parent takes pity on the sad man that tutors their Cristian and helped bring his Calculus grade up to a C+ when he was in danger of failing before and they force ask him to stay for dinner whenever he's over for sessions and make sure to send him home with as many leftovers as he can carry

Y'ever think about the wasted potential of Bucky in What If episode 2x02 and just scream a lil'?

They could've set him up as a parallel to Peter, two people forced to do horrible things by horrible people who don't care about them as people. Have Peggy and Howard racked with guilt over seeing what became of their friend/friend-in-law. Actually DO something with that scene where Hope says that "he [Peter] deserves our help as much as anyone" or whatever and Bucky looks away. Still have the scene where Howard talks him down from shooting Peter but not immediately lampshade it with a one-liner from Howard. Maybe have Bucky try to run off after that but have the others (maybe even Peter specifically) stop him and use the "we're a team now" line.

You could even make it into a 2 parter, have it start in 2x02 and then later have another one thats like "What if the Winter Soldier Broke Free from HYDRA in the 80s?". Maybe T'Chaka shelters him in Wakanda, or maybe Mar-Vell offer to help him regain his mind using the Kree memory band we saw in the Marvels. May if he does the Memory Band thing have him go through it and THEN make the decision to leave the group to go find himself instead of him running off without a word and no one giving a shit.

Not to mention if you did all that and gave Bucky a whole "what if he broke out of HYDRA brainwashing early" episode you could play with it SO much. Does he decide to work with SHIELD? How does he react to Steve being unfrozen? How would he react to finding out HYDRA infiltrated SHIELD? How would he react to finding out Zola, the man who tortured him and made him the way he was, was a member of SHIELD after the war? How would Howard not dying in 1991 change the events of the MCU?

It would be SO INTERESTING and I will DIE mad

I just. I know the episode wasn't about him but that didn't mean they had to squander his story when it could've been SO GOOD

Ive seen people talk about the Serum and how it affects body temperature for Bucky and Steve, and my headcanon is that while Steve has a higher body temperature and is fine, I think because he was given a different variant of it Bucky kinda feels like he has a perpetual fever. Like it isn't dangerous to him or anything, but he has that thing you get when you're sick where you feel cold but your body is really hot to the touch. And part of me wonders how much of it is him being actually cold and how much of it is in his head because of how much time he spent in cryo. I have no idea how the science of that would work but that's my 2 cents

Controversial Take but I like that they cut Bucky's hair for FATWS, and I honestly like the style, he makes it work. I just wish we would've actually seen him do it. Like a scene that is canon in my heart is him doing it in FATWS episode 1 after he wakes up from the nightmare about killing Yori's son, like he gets up and goes to the bathroom and looks in the mirror and all he can see is the Soldier so he goes to find scissors or clippers or whatever and takes it off, and when he's done he looks in the mirror and sees himself with short hair for the first time since the 40s and realizes that he looks like himself, even if he doesn't entirely know what that means for him yet. He's finally taken some of his agency back, he hasn't had control of very anything in so long, and he knows that this is a small thing, but HYDRA never cut his hair and he had no control over what he looked like for so long, taking his appearance back is a big step for him

How I would've done Sharon's Ending of FATWS

Okay so I wanna start by saying I'm changing 0 of how Sam and Bucky’s stories ended because I thought that was good, I'm only touching Sharon's because the Powerbroker shit is stupid and makes no sense. So what I'm thinking is during that final fight when Karli makes a reference to the Powerbroker Sharon is just like something along the lines of 'you think that's me? Oh honey I just work for him'. Final fight ends the same Sam gives his speech happy ending in Louisiana for the boys etc. happens, but we go to the after credit scene:

Basically it happens the same until after Sharon hangs up the phone, a man in a suit stops her and says the Powerbroker would like to meet her. Sharon looks shocked, because no one has ever seen the Powerbroker, but goes along. Cut to Madripor, Sharon and the suited man are in a big building, nice, but well-guarded. The man ushers her into a well-fortified office and shuts the door. Sharon walks forward and her eyes go wide as she realizes with horror who, or what, she's been working for. The camera turns to show us what she's looking at and
