The jewel on Dharmaraja's forehead is the very same jewel on Ashwatthama's forehead. It was ripped from Ashwatthama as punishment at the end of the Kurukshetra war and was given to Draupadi. Draupadi then gave it to Yudhi to wear.
Nakula's sword(s), Asi, was created by the Gods and has gone through many, many owners but it eventually ended up with Drona and then Ashwatthama after Drona's death. Buttttt then Ash was punished/banished and the sword was given to his maternal uncle, Kripacharya, for safekeeping. Kripa gave the sword to Nakula, who would eventually return it to Kripa when the Pandavas died. It's said Kripa still is caring for the sword (which is apparently sentient!!) until the day Ashwatthama comes back for it.

The last Avatar or Lord Vishnu, named Kalki will be born to a brahmin family in a village named Sambhala, near the end of Kaliyug. There will be very less good people left on earth by this time.
Remember Kaliyuga is 4,32,000 years long. It began 5000 ago leaving us with 5,000 more years of Golden Age as we are living in the first 10,000 Golden years of this age where people will still have a little bit of conscience regarding the right and the wrong.
After these 10,000 years, there will be total darkness as evil will take over the world.
After the birth of Kalki, he would remain in his village learning about the world and how it has fallen into darkness. At this time the 7 immortals namely:
Sage Vyasa
King Bali
Hanuman
Parshuram ( he will teach kalki the art of fighting and weapon handling capability)
Ashvatthama
Kripacharya
Vibhishan
will teach Kalki about everything he needs to know, from the beginning of Sat yuva to the things he need to do currently to rid the world of the evil.
Kalki after getting trained will head north where he will defeat a king named Jin (read of China). The battle will be fierce as Jin never follows any battle rules and has a very big army (reference to population boom of China and military strength).
From there he will go on to fight all the dictators and evil doers of the world and kill all of them.
With the death of these evil doers, the cycle of four yugas will again come in picture. Kalki would bring back the Sat yuga back where everything will start again.
The circle of life will be complete and the universe will start over.
And after a few million years, you will be asking the same question again on this platform.
To talk in terms of science Kalki Puran explains the events of creation and destruction with the story of Kalki Avatar. Time began with Big Bang, and would end with Big Crunch, only to be started again with another Big Bang. This circle is endless.
The Seven Immortals, or Chiranjivi, from Hindu scriptures are Ashwatthama, Maharaja Bali, Vyasa, Hanuman, Kripacharya, Parashurama, and Vibhishana, each possessing unique qualities and eternal life.
Why did Ashwatthama attack the Pandava army by himself?
Ashwatthama was a male character in the Hindu epic, Mahabharata. He was the son of Dronacharya, who was the teacher of the Pandavas and the Kauravas. Ashwatthama attacked the Pandava army by himself as an act of revenge for his father's death, who was killed in the Kurukshetra war.
After the death of Dronacharya, Ashwatthama felt a deep sense of loss and anger. He blamed the Pandavas for his father's death and vowed to seek revenge. On the final day of the Kurukshetra war, Ashwatthama hatched a plan to attack the Pandava camp at night while they were asleep.
He sneaked into the camp with his allies Kripacharya and Kritavarma and launched a surprise attack, killing many Pandava soldiers and their allies. However, he was unaware that the Pandavas had placed a magical protection on their camp that made them immune to all attacks during the night.
Ashwatthama's attack was ultimately unsuccessful, and he was cursed by Krishna for his actions. The curse caused him to suffer from a painful and incurable disease for thousands of years.

Some people died in the great war of epic size that was fought to get rid of evil. In the battle for what is right, good, or evil, everyone has to deal with the results, which are their Karma. Throughout the epic, the rules of Dharma and moral superiority are always changed to fit the purpose or need of the time. All men take advantage of, hurt, and use women to satisfy their egos. Men fight against their ambitions, talents, and birth. Even the pious Bhishma’s efforts to seek wives for his brother and nephew caused severe injustice to the women in question.
The Battle of Kurukshetra
Many people died in the Kurukshetra war, but the death of Abhimanyu, the son of Arjuna and Subhadra, was the most heartbreaking. Drona made a Chakravyuha creation while Arjuna was sidetracked by Susharma and Bhagdataa. Only Arjuna knew how to get in and out of the formation, but Abhimanyu just knew how to get in. Once he was inside, Jayadratha made sure that nobody would follow him, and the killing started.
While Abhimanyu killed Brihadbala and hurt Duryodhana and Karna caught his bow from behind, Drona hit from the front. The Kauravas attacked at the same time, and Dushashana’s son hit the king with a mace to kill him. Abhimanyu was able to kill him with the same mace because he was so brave and stubborn.
As a form of revenge, Bhima cut off the head of an elephant called Ashwatthama and told Drona that his son had died. Drona dropped his arms, and Dhristadyumna killed him. When Ashwatthama heard that his father had been killed by a traitor, he, Kripacharya, and Kirtvarma killed all of the Pandavas’ sons while they were sleeping.
Ashwatthama let go of the Brahmashira just to kill the Pandavas and their only grandson, who was in Uttara’s womb. The others had died in the war. Lord Krishna went into Uttara’s womb to protect her unborn child from Brahmashira, who was sent by Ashwatthama to kill it. So, it was called Parikshit. The Sanskrit verb root – pari-ki means “around-possess” (or, less likely in this case, “around-destroy”). This is where Parikshit’s name came from.

After Parikshit was born, the chief priest Dhaumya told King Yudhishthira that he would be a great follower of the Supreme Lord Vishnu. Since Krishna saved him, he would be called Vishnurata, which means “one who is always shielded by the Lord.” Dhaumya Rishi says that Parikshit will always be dedicated to morality, religious fundamentals, and the truth. He will also be a wise king, just like Ikshvaku and Lord Rama. He would be a good example of a warrior like his grandfather Arjuna, and his family’s reputation would grow. He is called Parikshit because he would look for the Supreme Lord, whom he had seen as an unborn child, all over the world and in every person.
Hastinapur’s king After Krishna Avatar leaves the world and the Kali Yuga, the dark age of sin, begins, the five Pandavas brothers leave the world. Young Parikshit is made king, and Kripa is made his advisor. Under Kripa’s direction, he did three Aswamedha yajnas.
When King Parikshit was out searching in the woods, the demon Kali, who was the personification of the Kali Yuga, came up to him and asked to come into his kingdom. The king refused. Parikshit gave him five places to live after he kept asking: places with gambling, drinking, prostitution, killing animals, and gold. Kali sneaked into Parikshit’s golden crown and messed with his mind.
Takshaka, Janamejaya, and Parikshit
Since Kali had gone into the gold, this made people want gold. Parikshit went into the forest to hunt. At one point, he stops and takes a bath in the lake. He takes off his crown and puts it on the river bank. Takshaka, the king of the snakes, sees the throne and wants it. He tries to steal the crown, but Parikshit’s guards catch him. Parikshit jails him. When he is finally free, Takshaka gets revenge on Parikshit and brutally kills him. When Parikshit’s son Janamejaya hears this, he swears to kill Takshaka in a week.
He commences the Sharpamedha Yajna, which makes every single snake in the universe fall into the hawankunda. But a snake got tangled around God Sun’s Ratha, and due to the power of the Yajna, the Ratha also was pulled into the Hawankunda. This could have put the God Sun Ratha in the Hawankunda and ended God Sun’s rule in this universe. All the gods then asked that the Yajna be stopped. Astika Muni stopped this Yajna from happening when Takshaka came, which is why Takshaka is still alive.

The episode begins with Bhishm standing at the bank of Ganga. He joins his hands and Ganga makes a prakat. “Pranaam, mata,” “You’ve come back to your mother today, son,” Ah, Ganga, in scenes like these, you almost make me forget it is canonical that you drowned 7 of your sons. Anyway, Bhishm is Mr. Paragon of Perfection, remember? So he says, “No, mata. I am here to bathe in your sacred waters and cleanse myself of my sins.” “You are my son, Bhishm, you cannot sin.” Excuse me? What was that kidnapping thing then? The Niyog idea? Ah, well, paragon of perfection, indeed. “But I have sinned. For the future of Hastina, I have sacrificed a girl’s happiness. I did not even ask Gandhari if she was alright with a blind husband or not.” “Did she fight it?” “Not with words, but…” he brings up her oath. “Did you take your own oath out of rebellion?” “Such a question after so many years, mata?” “Search your heart, son. Camera focuses on Ambalika. “Such a sacrifice on Gandhari’s part definitely elevates patnidharm to a new level.” Okay, new pet hate, freaking patnidharm. “Kripacharya was absolutely right.” Ambika points out that they too had sacrificed a lot for their patnidharm. “The question is whether Gandhari is doing sacrifice or rebellion.” “No, as I see it…” “It doesn’t matter how you or I see it. What Dhritrashtra sees it as, that’s important.”
Camera focuses on angry young man striding into his nuptial chambers. “Gandhari?” “I am here.” “I know you are here. I can find out by the sound of breaths how many people are here. Come near me, Gandhari.” Uh-oh. Why do I have the uncomfortable feeling that he is being sadistic and/or sarcastic? “Okay…” Every single one of Gandhari sentences here is accompanied by the salutation ‘arya’ for husband, but I am already irritated enough, so I am omitting further irritation. She stumbles on her way to him., knocks something over. Dhritrashtra closes his eyes. “If you walk that way, you won’t be able to come to me. You’ll collide into the arch.” “But, where are you?” “Look at your foolishness. You don’t know where I am, but you closed your eyes.” Sadistic as he is, jerkass still does have a point. Wow, that’s quoted almost directly out of TV Tropes! Go, Nila! “What were you trying to do? Insult me, or your own self?” Then comes that old argument of disrespecting disability. I am not repeating that hoary old chestnut here. He commands her to remove the cloth from her eyes, saying that he will not accept her, continuing that it is the duty of every citizen to listen to their King, He asks her if he commands her to remove the cloth from her eyes after he is King, would she not oblige? She says that she would, if she has such an order, but she would do it just before agnipariksha. What is the deal between this lady and agnipariksha?
Dhritrashtra looks even more pissed. “You mean, you will not obey me under any circumstances,” he hisses, shaking her. His hands feel the flowers that adorn her. “What is all this? Where are your earrings? Your bangles? Why are you wearing a garland of flowers?” “I have adorned myself with flowers. I thought you…” “Enough! You have insulted me enough. Just to remind me of my blindness, you reach this limit? Do you think others won’t be able to see you? Do you want to remind everyone what happened to you?” “It’s not like that!” “It is like that! You are here to disrespect me! I came with a choodamani according to tradition for you, Gandhari, but you don’t deserve it! You are merely my bad luck! I, Dhritrashtra, son of Vichitraveerya, hereby foreswear you. Even if Hastinapur considers you its Queen, I will never consider you my wife! Never!” He pushes her to the floor. Ugh. I hate you, Dhritrashtra.
Also, skip skip skip. This is Krishna Gyaan. This is about the pursuit of happiness. (Isn’t that a movie?)
“Samraat Dhritrashtra…even he is eager to hear these words.” “I am afraid of that eagerness. I fear he is too eager to cloak his disability with status.” You’re right, Bhishm. “Why wouldn’t anyone, Bhishm?” This is Satyavati. “I feel for Dhritrashtra. But a man overwhelmed by his own sadness cannot do anything for the people.” “We do not have a choice. Dhritrashtra is eldest of the Kuru Princes. If he doesn’t become King, what else can he do? He can’t be a Senapati or a Mahamantri. He will lose meaning in his life. Pandu will protect the country and his King as Senapati. Vidur knows Dharma. He’ll help the King.” I agree. In this whole sorry story, Vidur is the one person who has any idea of dharma. “Will Dhritrashtra let Vidur be Mahamantri? After becoming King, if he doesn’t name anyone to the post, neither I nor you can disobey him in that matter.” “Then, before the Rajabhishek, we will name Pandu the senapati and Vidur the Mahamantri. Even if you don’t agree with my decision of making Dhritrashtra the King, understand that it is the correct decision. Listen to me, Bhishm.” Satyavati leaves.
Scene changes to Bhishm doing Surya Namaskar. As he finishes it, Vidur enters and does a pranipaat. “Come, Vidur. Here to ask for blessings before taking the post of Mahamantri?” “I am here to ask for permission.” “Permission? What for?” “Freedom. I ask for freedom from the duty of taking that oath. Hastina’s royal family has given a lot to me.” “Vidur, you are the son of the King, too.” “They are the sons of the Queens. If something dishonorable happens, I will be blamed for it.” “You are my student. Why would you do anything dishonorable?” “When I have to choose between Dharma and love after becoming the Mahamantri, what do I choose?” “Dharma is the Sun, and love the Moon. If you choose love, you will be at peace, but in darkness. If you choose Dharma, you will get light. You, the family, the people of this nation.” Vidur nods. “Go, Vidur. Take the oath and discharge your duties with Dharma.” “As you command.” “Live long.” The title track BGM plays a little.
The scene changes to Pandu taking his mother’s blessings. “Son, may Hastina always be victorious by the strength of your sword. May your enemies tremble at the mere sound of your name. May you be immortal in history. May the throne of the senapati be as glorious as the King’s in Hastina.” Not much of the above actually occur in truth, but this guy is actually immortal in history, if only as the father of his sons, expressly the younger four, in my eyes.
“No other throne has the right to be as glorious as the Kings.” “I know, and yet I pray for it, because for a mother, only the success of her children is happiness.”
Scene changes again to Dhritrashtra. He starts intoning a very pompous oath. He is imagining the jayjaykars yet again. Also preening. He is disturbed by the sound of payals. He does his weird eye twitch (god, one thing this actor has is extreme control of his ocular muscles, apparently.) “Who dares?” It’s Gandhari, accompanied by Shakuni. Episode ends.
Precap: Bhishm hands the sword to Dhritrashtra. “Stop, elder brother,” this is Vidur. “A man blind from birth is not eligible to become the King.” The camera pans on everyone’s faces.
At this point, it’s rather obvious that Dhritrashtra ain’t gonna become King.

Why did lord Krishna eat peanuts for 18days of Mahabharata?
So let's start the whole story and see why it happened.
Before sharing the story behind the eating of peanuts, I would like to share the background of Mahabharata. If you don’t want to read, skip this part and go down to know the reason of eating peanuts.
It was a battle of Dharma and everyone was present on the battlefield to fight except the two characters i.e.

Rukmani amba
It is the story of one family, on one side there were 5 sons of Pandu known as Pandavas and on the other side, there were 100 sons of Dhritarashtra known as Kauravas. The names of 5 Pandava were Yudhishthir, Bhimsen, Arjun, Nakul, and Sehdev. Among the 100 sons of Dhritarashtra, Duryodhan was the eldest son.
Apart from Pandava and Kauravas, the other important characters in this fight were
Pitamah Bhishma,
Guru Dronacharya,
Guru Kripacharya,
Madar Naresh Shalva (Mama of Nakul and Sehdev),
Sindhu Naresh Jaydrath (Husband of Duryodhana's sister Dushala),
Danveer Karna (eldest kunti son),
Raja dhrupad and his sons Dhrishtadyumna and Shikandi,
Shakuni (Maternal Uncle of Duryodhan),
Matysa Naresh Virat and his sons Utara,
the most important Lord Krishna (Incarnation of Lord Vishnu).
Who was fighting to whom’s side
On the side of Pandava: Apart from Pandava, Lord Krishna, Dhrupad Naresh and his sons, Matysa Naresh and his son, Yuyutsu (Brother of Duryodhan).
On the Side of Kauravas: Duryodhan and his brothers, Pitamah Bhishma, Guru Dronacharya, Guru Kripacharya, Karna, Madar Naresh Shalva, Sidhu Naresh Jaydrath, Narayani Sena (Lord Krishna Soldiers).
If we read/see Mahabharat and try to find out the reasons behind Mahayudh, then we could find several reasons. Everyone was fighting either to take revenge or due to their prana (pledge).
Some of the major reasons were as follows.
Duryodhana and his brothers were fighting as Duryodhan wanted to become king followed by his father Dhritarashtra and wanted to take Pandava out of Hastinapur.
Pandava was fighting for their rights and to take revenge of bad things happened to them due to Duryodhana especially the insult of Drapaudi.
Pitamah Bhishma, Guru Dronacharya and guru Kripacharya were fighting due to pratigya.
Karna wanted to prove that he was the best Archer in the universe.
Sindu Naresh Jarasandh wanted to take revenge from Pandava.
Madra Naresh got the support from Pandava in their earlier battle, so he wanted to support Pandava.
Drupad Naresh and his sons wanted to take revenge from guru Dronacharya.
Why did Shri Lord Krishna eat peanuts for 18 days in the war of Mahabharata?
The actual story began when the king of Udupi came to know about the battle and he came to kurukshetra with his troops. He met with Lord Krishna and said I came here to fight but my heart/mind was not allowing me to take part and I did not want to favour any side. Still, I have one proposal and I request you to accept my proposal and blessed me.
Here is the conversation that took place between lord Krishna and king of Udupi
Lord Krishna asked : what is your proposal??
King of Udupi said : I want to prepare foods for all the veer and mahaveer participating in the battle.
Lord Krishna accepted his proposal and allowed him for the arrangement of food.
King of Udupi started making foods and everyday when all the Yodha took their food, whatever he cooked, that food finished completely at the end of day. It means there was no wastage of food, and also it was available in plenty for everyone.
The war ended in 18 days and Pandava won the war. Everyone became surprised when they came to know about a proper food planning.
Post the possession of crown, one day Hastinapur Naresh maharaj Yudhishthira asked to the king of Udupi about the logic behind this.
The king of Udupi asked: Hey maharaj, could you please tell me to whom you would give credit to your win.
Maharaj Yudhishthir replied : Lord Krishna
Then king of Udupi replied: Lord Krishna is also responsible for my karma as well. Everyday he ate peanuts in the night and on the next day when we entered inside his tent, we collected all the lamella (peanuts chilka) and counted. We multiply the counted lamella with 1000 and we would come to know the number of deaths going to happen on that day and we prepared our foods accordingly.
As we know, Lord Krishna knew everything and he knew the result of Mahabharata as well. He was eating peanuts to help the Udupi Naresh in his food making.
This is the story which explain why did lord Krishna eat peanuts everyday.
