Back to the regular programming. Have a wip! Still working on that thing. Things still progress as they were - sometimes I sit and draw a lot in one go, then I have to put it off for many weeks at a time; or I simply just don't have that much energy/focus to be creative - just life being life. But I'm forging ahead. With the help of my friend, all typos or grammar mistakes are now fixed, too, so that's one thing I thankfully don't have to think about anymore. Now I "just" need to keep and keep and keep on drawing, until it's all finished. Wish me luck.

I wrote this out on Twitter and figured I might as well drop it here, too.

Thoughts on this:

1. Claudia's right and left hand are slightly different because she only has a metal ring on her left hand (while the right is fabric only), so through that you can tell it's not just a flipped image-- it's two separate scenes.

Like it wouldn't be able to even be close to the same scene the way these two are, y'know?

I mean it could happen around the same time, but two different things are happening!

2. Viren's outfit is different: red is the fever dream in his Katolis clothing, while the blue one is actually what he's wearing now :'). Which makes it more possible to be real.

3. The background of the blue one has what looks like the bottom of the ocean. Or something like that. You can see the rocks/ground!

4. Claudia's fingers are extended out more (like stretched out more?) in the new image (prob because in the fever dream she's not awake). Viren's hand looks about the same in that regard, so maybe he's awake?

Though the angle for his hand is a bit different too, so he could be just sinking without being awake. Who knows,

5. There was that one theory about Viren being right-handed normally and left-handed under Aaravos's influence/while possessed, and he's reaching out with his left hand in the fever dream one. Whether this means anything or not probably depends on if that theory is true lmao ;;

Claudia might just like holding his right hand because that's also the hand she's holding in the trailer :P

Can't really apply the Aaravos-is-left-handed theory to Claudia since she seems to not be particularly left- or right-handed from what I can tell in other parts of the series

He swallows thickly, taking the man’s hands into his own, pulling them from his face. Hitoshi doesn’t let go nor does the Suisha pull away. “Is that—is meeting new people something you need to do?”

The man smirks. “You could say that, I suppose. But it’s my turn to ask a question, Suketomo-san.”

Hitoshi sucks in a breath, but nods to him regardless. 

“Kindred spirits recognize each other. You wouldn’t catch a spark of loneliness if you weren’t lonely yourself. Our eyes met in that crowd of hundreds because we must know each other already.”

He panics as his hands lift above his head, wrists bound together in some unseeable thread. He’s lifted enough that his bottom floats an inch off his seat and the fabric of the yukata tightens around his body. 

Hitoshi stares down in wide eyes and freezes when he’s met with that hungry gaze from earlier, the Suisha’s eyes thinned into slits like a cat. 

“I’ve danced under that look from many others. People who think I’d grovel just because I’m told. People who think I’d bend because they think they can overpower me.

“But this is my lair. My hoard. The legions are mine and I choose who steps in here and leaves with their limbs intact. Do you think you’re capable of taking advantage of me now, Suketomo-san?” 

The singer underestimated how easily the Suisha could take him, Hitoshi realizes. It’s distressing to discover that even with his quirk, if he truly were in a fight with this man right now, he’d likely lose. 

It’s also exhilarating to know that the man could’ve taken him down any point since they’ve been face to face. 

Hitoshi’s been the one at a disadvantage all along.
