This was a gift from a prompt by SpiritusRex (secret identity or mistaken identity) and I just went immediately for DFO, but with a twist. I'm just a sucker for big brother Shigaraki lol. I don't know why this one of all my oneshots is the most kudosed?? I guess it just hit a lot of the right targets, mistaken identity and crack being a fun thing people like. Personally I think it's alright, I wrote it half-tired (as most of my crack is written half-tired lol) but ppl seem to like that???

This is my longest fic, still ongoing. A kind of weird DFO set up where Izuku is dragged unwillingly into a parallel universe where he's in the place of Shigaraki, but also sort of not that because the whole universe is made from the combination of DFO and Izuku's desires, and the fic goes through Izuku finding his place in this world and the complications that come from this being made of their desires. I swear this fic is going to be the death of me, I love it so but why did I have to make it soo complicated for myself, *stares at outline* also Dabi and Hawks kinda shoved their way in there and I have to keep batting off the Dabihawks with a stick *it's staying gen goddamnit i made a promise I wouldn't put romance in this*. I think it's the most popular because it has a premise that is kind of different, and has DFO, while also not being too angsty.

Favourite Story I've Written: 'Dekunubou'

I just love Ella Enchanted AU's so I was wanting to write one a whileeeeee. I just love the horror type aspect of this type of the quirk being taken to the extreme, the complete stripping of agency and objectification of Izuku. Also figuring out how to beat it was fun, with the moment when Katsuki figures out how to use the quirk for his own benefit by (technically) joining the LOV being one of the first things I thought of for this.

Fic You Were Nervous to Post: 'A Whisper of a Dream'

Uhhh the tags itself may be self-explanatory... "Torture" "Mouth Sewn Shut" "Needles", Idk I'm just drawn to writing heavy angst and this was the first one of those so I was scared ppl might think it too much? After posting this one, I've gotten less nervous about what I write as I saw ppl didn't rlly care, and some actually liked it. So freedom in going wild, I guess lol.

How do you choose your titles: Either song lyrics or I get a friend to help me come up with it. I'm awful at titles. Every one is a quote from somewhere.

Do you outline? I do for my longfics, I don't for oneshots. I find them sooo useful for longfics as I struggle so hard without them (which is why YCH hasn't been updated in so long, I'm in the bit that was outlined less strongly). I sincerely recommend them to anyone trying to write longfics!

Complete: Only like 12% of my fics are incomplete, so I'm pretty proud of that. None of them have been dropped except for the two non-bnha ones because I cannot concentrate on anything past my current hyper-focus rofl.

In Progress: You Can't Help, Twisted Soul are the two major longfics I'm working on rn, I'm trying to finish Twisted before I start writing a lot for YCH, so YCH may take a while to get regular updates again. Sorry for anyone that's more interested in that fic lol.

Coming soon: Ahh I have too many one shots that i start, write 500 words for and just leave... but my current WIPS take priority. Oo but one that should be posted soon is one where Shouto is sent to a different universe to see a Villain version of himself to see what he could have become without the support of ppl like Midoriya.

Not started: Oof. Too many ideas. Some day i will write a proper Dbhwks long fic. Oo also one where Shinsou reluctantly becomes a villain. Another one which is like Into the Spiderverse but with Villain au's for class 1-a. I will get to them someday. Just not today. Rn is DFO brainrot rofl.

Upcoming Work You're Most Excited About: Wip wise, I'm really excited for what I've got coming up for Twisted Soul. It's probably my angstiest fic because i am just too mean to Midoriya. Really, someone should take him away from me. Far far away.

‘you know how much I hate it! Why can’t you just go to the authorities about this! It’s putting your life in danger and I hate seeing you hurt all the time!’ Minhyun sighs. He pinches the bridge of his nose and takes a long sip of his coffee

Seongwoo wrinkled his nose. ‘You know what will happen if I don’t show up for even one session. It’s happened before.’ 

Seongwoo finds himself tuning into your conversation instead of engaging with his friend 

okay let’s be honest, he’s never really liked you 

‘you need real help, Seongwoo. You really think drinking all these plasma juice boxes are going to make a difference? Are all these helping you one bit?’ 

‘I can’t take blood bags because of the injections you know it,’ Seongwoo retorted. He was only half-heartedly paying attention to his friend and he was straining his supernatural hearing to listen to your conversation 

‘Exactly! Stop the process, take real blood so your body can survive and I’ll get help from a psychiatrist. Seongwoo, this can make everything better.’ 

‘I’m going to be an interning at Dr. Im’s clinic!’ you announced happily, gaining gasps and congratulations from your friends.

the impact of Minhyun’s fist on the table made Seongwoo snap out of his angry thoughts. It also caused time to freeze as curious customers peered round to have a glance

blushing, Minhyun briefly apologised, downed the remainder of his coffee in a shot before grabbing Seongwoo’s arm and dragging him out

 deep down you wondered when you would see them next 

probably on campus somewhere,,, but with your new internship and all, you would be increasingly busy

even if he despised you, you wanted to help him so badly 

he left unscathed, that was astonishing to him too

when interrogated, Minhyun seemed to have 0 knowledge of your existence and that you were related to Doctor 

‘I-I’m so s-sorry. I really had no clue,’ he choked out, holding back a sob 

Seongwoo brushed it off, believing and forgiving his best friend 

‘how are things with Jaehwan? More roommate trouble?’ 

‘ugh, don’t remind me. He keeps teasing me about my crush on our neighbour.’ 

laughter resounded on the drive back to their dorms 

all was back to normal

‘Dr Im, if you don’t mind me asking, what was your diagnosis?’ you questioned carefully, afraid of setting off an explosion of fuming fireworks

Dr Im sighed, she pressed her hand to her forehead. ‘He’s a difficult one if I’m honest. However, my brain is telling me it’s PTSD or depression, worse case scenario and it could be both.’ 

I’m not an expert on both even though I did research so I’m sorry if there are any inaccuracies, I tried to exclude it for the majority of the work

you kept silent, the information unable to fully sink into your mind.

was it related to whatever happened at graduation? Was he struggling then? Is he losing hope now?

Entry 30: 04.29.20 @ 9:46 p.m.

Sitting in my purple, foldable chair with my laptop on stools. 

 Saturday is three days away. I’m thinking about it more and more and finding it hard to sleep. My mind has been racing with all the plans and thoughts for the future. Slowly, I’ve been getting more comfortable with the idea of living with my mom. I just need to keep my eye on the prize and make sure I am always in control of myself in any situation. Not that I’m an issue but I don’t want to allow anything she does to control my reaction. This time will be a test of my maturity and willingness to be firm and poised at all times. 

My goal is to stay there as long as possible and save money, but I feel that I won’t be able to stay there exclusively before Philly. I have been looking at one-bedroom apartments in the area and came up with a plan. I’ll stay with her as long as possible and then get a studio for myself. I would love to have a single bedroom apartment, but I want to save as much money as possible for Philly. Also, I will be moving to Greensboro instead of staying in Lexington.

I like Greensboro because it’s bigger, more diverse and has a lot to do. There are several colleges in that town which means, more people my age group. Also, I love downtown and Quaker Village. I think it will feel cool to finally live by myself in the town I grew up in. I do not intend to talk to the people I used to know in high school though. They’re not my kind of folks anymore. I also intend on remaining single until I move to Philly. I do not want to settle down in NC and have too much on my plate now. I not only don’t have time for a relationship, but I also have no desire for one. In the past, I let relationships keep me complacent and was talked out of so much. I regret it and will not let it stop me this time. It has been a year and two months living single and I’ve come further than I thought capable. No one is going to stop me. 

I told my best friend, Haley, that I was coming back. She was so happy and cried on the phone lol. I wanted to keep it a secret and surprise her, but I don’t know when this quarantine will be over. So, I figured I might as well tell her. I am excited to see her, but I hope she doesn’t think we will move in together. We have talked about it before, but I ultimately decided against it. She and I live different lifestyles and I’ve grown far apart from the girl I used to be. She seems to be stuck where I met her ten years ago. I love her but she needs to get herself out of her own funk and grow. I don’t want to be brought down from the progress I’ve made. And besides, living on your own is e v e r y t h i n g. 

Tomorrow, I am hanging out with the only friend I have in Texas. I texted her about my plans and we wanted to chill one last time before I leave. I’m giving her some of my stuff too. It’s going to be a full day. I want to go to bed early tonight so that I can do some cleaning in the morning before she comes. Then after we hangout, I want to finish packing, get rid of all my unneeded furniture and finish cleaning up. Friday morning, I will toss out my bed, disconnect the internet and turn in my keys. My flight isn’t until Saturday at 1:30pm but I didn’t want to scramble the morning of. The guy I’ve been talking to is going to pick me up to stay with him until then. He wants to spend time with me and drop me off the next day. I spent the next at his new house a few days ago. It’s very nice and he put a lot of work into it already. I still feel the same about him though so I’m not tripping about leaving. The feelings I had, have been disappearing and I have no anger towards him. He is just going to be a friend to me after this and I will be off living my life and seeing him seldomly. He has family in NC that he visits a few times a year and says that he will come see me as well. I’ll let him but I won’t be having sex with him. He doesn’t deserve me and I’m too good for him. I see that now. I want to be respected, admired and taken seriously. The next man, I involve myself with will do all that and more...he will also be in Philly because fuck NC boys lol. I’m good. 

I wanted to talk about my job plans. Currently, I am still teaching myself to code and should be enrolling into my program soon. On Monday, I need to make my last payment and then I will be cleared to apply for financial aid. Then I will need to get a confirmation email and send it to my school. If all goes well, I should be applying for summer classes within the next two weeks. My program will be completely online. Ideally, I would like to take a coding and programming course at a community college, but we will see. I just want so badly to set myself up for a better job. Working in the service industry is hard and draining. I am sick of it and want something more stable for myself. Having a job in the technology or healthcare industry would be decent money and rewarding. I’m even going to stop smoking weed for it. I am leaving my smoking days here in Texas and starting fresh with complete sobriety and goals in my sight. I don’t think marijuana is bad, but I just don’t want distractions and I’d like to get a front desk job soon. When this quarantine is over, I am applying to all hospitals and clinics. I would make more money and be able to network and make career connections.

I am really looking forward to this next chapter in my life and feel my plans and dreams coming together. Last year, I knew I wanted to be a Holistic Nutritionist and knew that I wanted to move to Philadelphia but, I didn’t know exactly how I would accomplish it. Now, I have a plan and it feels great. But the problem having that ability growing up was hard cause i kept it a secret only cause i was scared to be called crazy or insane.
