The date is 7600.

Humanity finds itself alive and well on the planet of Lunestia! With its gorgeous greens, purples, pinks, and white fields it is definitely different than Earth but almost eerily the same. After the legendary forum wars of 2025, aliens have fully become a part of society on Earth as well as Lunestia. Great advancements in not only technology but human evolution have improved life in the universe more than any being could imagine!

I fell in love with Risa's Lunestia and Meroze maps as soon as I saw them! It was really hard to choose between those two to use for this space world save but Lunestia's beautiful terrain painting and blend won me over! I highly recommend both of these worlds, absolutely gorgeous and incredible work!

INTERESTING CHARACTERS

Mae, Malie, and Una Verse keep watch over the renovated remains of the First Contact ship that brought all beings to beautiful Lunestia! Although thankful for the great honor bestowed upon them from their ancestors, these young beings just want to have some fun, sometimes!

The Goth family and Bachelor family fell into a wormhole in Sunset Valley and have found themselves farther in the future than they could even imagine!

Candy is a plantsim who is trying her very best to recreate all of the lovely plants from Earth! She lives in her underground lab and you can find her there or above ground tending to all of her lovely friends…uh plants!

Skyla Martial is a genius who has filled her home with bots that she treats like family but never stopped to wonder if she wants an actual family. Either way, the bots fill that void…for now.

There's lots to do in Lunestia! Along with all EA rabbitholes, you can visit:

The Millennium Falcon Bot Emporium - A recreation of the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars by soocoolsim! It includes the bot emporium register, comics register, and a food register.

The Future Fashion Salon - - I have been experimenting with combining rabbitholes, registers, and lots on one lot and am loving the results! It saves so much room in town and I love how some of these rabbitholes/registers/lots work together! This is a salon and tattoo shop that includes the Elixir Consignment register, nectary register, consignment store register, and the Spa rabbithole.

Purple Flourite Museum - Art Gallery by Satureja13 that includes another nectary register.

Monsters Inc Stadium - a fun recreational park built by Hidehi for the Disney Magic Kingdom collaboration. The school and stadium rabbitholes are also located here.

Sapphire Ice Gym - by Satureja13 A small gym with all machines and martial arts stuff

Zephyr 47 - An old starship repurposed into Lunestia's favorite spot to watch the game, get some wings, and drink some juice with the old team! (shell by geminiagre, interior redone and converted to sportsbar by me)

Natatorium Pool - pool from Lunar Lakes

Laser Waves - A poolside club with lots of secret places to find!

Cosmic Ray's Bowling Lanes by Sandraelle is the place to be in Lunestia! A huge arcade with every game and numerous bowling lanes open at all times, all beings come here for fun and prizes, to grab some groceries, catch a movie, or have a quick meal at the diner!

Lunestia Library And Bookstore - a huge library with fun for the kids, snacks, the bookstore, and the Vault of Antiquity

Full Spectrum Fire Safety - by Waterheart197 - Even in the future, fire will still get you. Luckily, the fire safety beings here at Full Spectrum can help!

Astro Orbiter - by soocoolsim is a fun hangout with a roller coaster, games, and snacks

Lunar Hub Casino - this is Lunestia's Live Show Venue that includes all casino games, giant performer's stage, nectary, and food register. You can find HOLODEK by Livvy1049 - a bright future lounge right next door!

Science Tech Center - bot emporium I built that includes the bot competition arena and observatory rabbitholes

Cube by Snowmoon - this dive bar is for surly beings only!

The MotherShip by Snowmoon is a little more inviting for the locals in Lunestia. The Darts Competition is weekly, see you there!

It wasn't long after Lunestia was discovered that the Space Buzz Studio by Hidehi was built! You can always see some of the actors rehearsing on stages upstairs if you stop by to tour the studio rabbithole (in the basement).

Crater Lagoon is the town fishing spot stocked with all fish and not too far from there you will find Oasis Shoreline Beach!

Don't forget to visit the crash scene wreckage! It might look like a junkyard but very important research is being done here. You can see the renovated First Contact ship from here as well!

In this download, you will find the world and 3 save files:

LunestiaCommunityLots - this save has the community lots only, no residential houses or other lots

LunestiaUnpopulated - the is the final version of the save without sims

LunestiaPopulated - this is the final version of the save with all households

This save uses Into The Future, Lunar Lakes, and all sci fi store content extensively but there is zero custom content. I have all expansions, all stuff packs, and all store content but if you do not have some of the items, the game will generate a similar item for you (but you may have to edit). The only expansion not used is PETS so I am unsure how the save will perform with Pets, but there is definitely plenty of room for them!

Because this world was just roads and trees, I ran into the same problem I had with Simarellen, which was sometimes the lots do not line up perfectly with the roads. Some of the lots may look diagonal or incorrectly placed because of that but I have playtested everything and have not found any routing issues. This world save does use the Into The Future elevators profusely so there might be an issue with some of the elevators not working as intended. To fix this, simply go into build mode on the lot, go to the ground floor of the lot, use the hand tool to pick up the elevator and then drop it, this will reset the elevators to go to the correct floors. I tried not to fill the world up with lots too much, but it was hard to choose with so many excellent options out there! You can always add more, if you like!

Been brainrotting over Celestia and Luna like a week straight now, I have always loved the idea that they have just been born that way.

They are both alicorns, they are both ancient goddesses, they have both been together since they were born.

They were always meant to stay together and rule together, they compliment each other, by design.

But I also love the idea that they weren't born like that, that eventually they stumbled upon their cutiemarks by simple occurrence, like all the other ponies, that they earned their alicorn status through some ancient epic feat long forgotten, that they just don't see the point in bragging about anymore.

That it was an active choice, active hard-work, to be together, and stay together.

There isn't the reassurance of Fate putting them together, and when Luna is exiled, there's no reassurance that she will ever come back, but no matter what.

They both still choose to keep putting in the work, they still choose to keep loving each other, and they keep choosing each other, millenia after millenia.

And it's always worth it.

Tutorial: Custom Lighting, Moons, and Weather For Each Installed World

For those of us who play in multiple worlds, it can be hard to choose an appropriate custom lighting mod; what suits Monte Vista may not be entirely appropriate for Aurora Skies! When adding weather mods to the mix, and moon replacements, and cloud replacements, it’s very easy to tear one’s hair out in frustration and despair. However, it is entirely possible to have custom lighting, moon, and weather mods in each installed world. Here is how it’s done.

Necessary Items

A custom world you wish to edit

Various lighting, moon, and weather mods you like

Basic knowledge of S3PE (opening packages, exporting files, and replacing package contents)

Step 1: Collect Your World and Mods.

Choose the world you wish to edit. In our example, I am editing risastorm's alien world, Lunestia, to have the following aesthetic changes:

Brntwaffle's Triple Cotton Candy Mint Swirl Berry Lighting Mod

sims3legacies’ Titan Moon Replacement

Memeingfulcorndoge’s Moon Resizer (at 2x enlargement)

I like the weather from Triple Swirl, so I am not copying another mod’s weather, but you can do that if you wish!

Step 2: Turn Your INIs into Outies!

(I slay myself.) 

Once you have downloaded all your chosen mods, open each mod in S3PE and extract their INIs and/or Keys. Use CTRL-A to select all the files, and import them to a working file by right-clicking and choosing “Export To File.”

Step 3: Editing Your World

Open your Installed Worlds folder (Documents→EA→The Sims 3→Installed Worlds) and find the world you want to edit. 

Copy it and paste it into your working file, where you extracted all your INI and Key files. It should look something like this.

Open your world in S3PE; it will look something like this.

Click “Resource→Import From File.”

Navigate to your work folder and import all your INI and Key files.

Click “Open,” and the following window will pop up. Be sure to click “Replace Duplicates,” or else we will have done nothing to your file, and then click “Import.”

Finally, save your work! 

When you’ve done this, just replace your original world in your Installed Worlds file with your new one, and enjoy your aesthetic improvements!

Making Aliens

So today, while in the hated CAS- I decided to make some aliens. “Why?” you ask. Because I have the attention span of a gnat and decided it was time to visit an alien world. I was thinking of using Rflong7′s Moonbase Charlie - even though I’m not that thrilled with it. Way too many 60x60 lots in the main downtown area, and not enough roads. So, it takes forever to get anywhere when you play it. 

I actually helped play-test this world when it was being made. Big mistake! Rflong was okay to deal with, but one of the other testers was a royal PIA. Thought the sun rose and set with her, and only her opinion mattered. (She had a really bad rep over on the old Sims 3 forum for being a regular know-it-all. And was universally disliked). So, never offered to help play-test any more worlds over there. 

Anyway, still on the fence about which world to play. Rattlesnake Ridge has a nice military complex, but the world itself is just so-so. 

But no matter. Today I did Sims.

This 1st Sim envisions herself as a galaxy-shaking stylist. She is bound and determined to bring cutting-edge fashion to the interplanetary masses - whether they want it or not! The 1st outfit is her everyday outfit, while the 2nd is her work one. She decided to add eyeglasses to the 2nd one because she thinks it makes her look more professional. BTW, I gave her traits to help her with her career - such as hot-headed, mean-spirited, socially inept, unstable, and loser. Because I’m nice!

This is one of her roommates, who sees herself as the next inter-galaxy, rock sensation! She has absolutely no talent when it comes to singing and can’t play any instruments. She’s also absent-minded, so learning new things is a bit of a struggle. I also gave her that loser trait along with neurotic. Again, because I am nice!

And this is the final roommate. She wants to rule the galaxy! Yes, she does! So she has entered the political arena. The only problem is, in order to get promoted, other Sims have to like you. Some even expect you to kiss their rugrats. They do! No lie! And that is so not going to happen because she hates kids, (and adults too!), is grumpy, a loner, and mean-spirited. So, getting to the top of her chosen career might not be in the cards.

Anyway, the base Sims that I used for these 3 came from that Lunestia world. I just made them a bit more alien with CC that I have - plus a change of outfits based on their favorite colors. Plus I changed all of their traits and got rid of their skills. (They were maxed out on several). Then, gave then the jobs of their pixelated dreams. Because, once again, I am a good simgoddess!

SPOTTED! Princess Sueloro of Lunestia was seen on Saturenorn with her mother, Grand Duchess Rylissama, at a coffee shop! 

Princess Sueloro was in head-to-toe purple, her signature color, in a Caliendo plate hat, a spotted silk scarf in the modish “Purple Paws” print, and a lavender tweed suit by the House of Maxis. Grand Duchess Rylissama was glamorous in green in a Cloudwalker pillbox hat and a gorgeous wool gabardine suit, also by the House of Maxis. 

Does this ice-planet lunch date signify a thaw in their relationship, or will things remain on ice between the disgraced duchess and the notoriously private princess?

The Finn Family

Just some (terrible) gameplay screenshots. I'm still in Lunestia and I'm playing the Felix Finn and Fawn Lacey household. Felix is a firefighter and Fawn is working on the Emperor Of Evil LTW (which is really fun for me as I usually don't play mean or evil sims lol). She loves her chopper, even though she often looks sad and pensive when she rides it. They fell in love and had a little daughter who looks very much like mom but inherited dad's hair. I'm thoroughly enjoying the More Toddler Interactions mod!! So adorable <3

Felix apparently needs to remind himself not to think about WooHoo when looking at bots, I guess???? and that made me laugh so hard!

After that whole trouble with my PC, the RAM is working smoothly with no crashes. I was able to finish this late illustration and reopen commissions! For supporters, rewards will be distributed as soon as possible through email. 🦋 Thank you for your patience during technical difficulties, only took like what? A little over a month to fix. 😨

This illustration features The Elements of Luna's protagonist, Kristal Lunestia and the luna moth from Luna's Moth. By the way, the moth has a name! It's Lunette! The name literally means, "small moon" or as I like to call it "mini moon"!

This was a sketch that I had in my book for a while before finally deciding to make it a finished work. Really glad I did because this turned out so cute! It also references back to Luna's Moth too.
