If I had a nickel for every animated superhero media in the last year that had the main superhero couple (with a budding romance) have an intimate moment on a rooftop overlooking a city, I'd have two nickels, but it's weird that it's happened twice.

So I know they threw a serious curve ball with Future Eve confessing but I still think the best angle for Mareve in season 3 would be 'it was always the right person but just the wrong time and now they're coming back, reconnecting'. Because in season 1 they had a really good foundation but with how they extended Mark and Amber's relationship all the way to college and made it way more meaningful, the relationship sort of stagnated and their interactions were practically non-existent this season. That needs to change ASAP in season 3. Have them spend quality time together (not necessarily romantic, maybe just as supportive partners and an unofficial superhero duo), slowly fan the spark that was always there from the start, and let's just get some genuine progression between them before they get together.

I absolutely love invincible’s series writing. They have such amazing choices that speak so much about every single character…
It’s obvious their preparing ground for MarkEve relationship and NolanDebbie to get back together.
Though i’m not the greatest fan of Omniman’s redemption, I truly love MarkEve as a couple. They’re the main couple from the start to the end and people who only know them from the series are starting to understand that…
In the previous episode, we saw - through Debbie and every spouse whose superhero partner died - that, in this universe, heroes don’t get to love normal people. Just before Mark went to space, he couldn’t hear Amber’s response to “I love you”. That’s a subtle, but clear writing choice that shows they’re not meant for each other.
In this episode, we saw Eve distant from everyone else, especially herself. She’s depressed and feeling bad about a lot of things. Who’s the first person she can think about? Mark. He’s the only one who gets her as she’s the one who gets him.
I cannot wait any longer for them to became an item and I just know this won’t take too much now.

i could write a 50 page essay on atom eve’s character arc this season and where it’s going. i really love that they didn’t decide to just send her over to africa, but they kind of took those motives in the first place and instead fleshed her out by elaborating on her fears and the rejection that she’s been facing fron her parents, namely her dad. it’s so clear that the validation she craves the most and secretly are from her parents, and last episode she definitely fought killcanon out of frustration.
i also agree that i think her arc and mark’s are kind of intertwining, which kind of makes me think that they’ll build the foundation of their romantic story in the next 4 episodes. they’re both kind of depressed and are still reckoning with the guilt of their powers and trying to find their place in the world. i feel like there might be a conversation in ep 5 where they talk about this, especially because markamber might be a bit on the rocks when he comes back from thraxa.

The current pairing that’s giving me motivation everyday vs the pairing I’ve loved since I was 17 and it’s still my otp. FIGHT!!
they just had some similar dialogue. I’m okay 🙂
Allurance: Allura, I love you. I have for a long time.
Markeve: I love you, Mark. I have for a very long time.

3 HUGS THIS SEASON??? And the way Mark and Eve have been putting their whole body and souls into them?? It's been literally sustaining me through this drought. To the writers, my utmost gratitude.
