You havent told him but when hes on his way back he tells you to meet him at his and you’re like ‘I cant i’m really sorry’ so he surprises you at yours and is like ‘what’ seeing you sat on the floor with the dog a couple metres away from you. And you’re like ‘he’s not my dream type of dog but he was so sad and scared of people I had to get him’ and Mase just gets fluffy and in the end the dog warms up to you and mason posts it everywhere like🥺🥺🥺🤌🏼

Summary: When Mason is at St George’s Park for International Break you always miss him. But this time around, you’ll find a new furry friend while he’s away. What will Mason think about him?

When Mason was away during International break it wasn’t unusual for you to miss him like crazy. The two of you were together for a little bit over a year, but even if you still didn’t move in together, you were used to spend most of your free time in each other’s company. Every single night the two of you were together, being it for a home cooked dinner after a long day at yours, or for a movie night at his, when the two of you weren’t going out or he wasn’t away for his games of course. That habit you had meant that when you were far away from each other, you would miss him dearly, and so would he.

You were lucky this time though, as on the last day of him being away you found a little stray dog while you were on your morning run. You found your new little furry friend hiding under one of the park’s benches; he looked so scared as he watched people passing by and seeing that poor thing like that pulled at your heart strings, so you just did what your instinct was telling you to do.

“C’mon buddy come here… hey I’m not gonna hurt you…” you tried to sound as calm as you could, not to scare him further. The little puppy looked at you with big brown eyes, as he shook under his longish white and brown fur. You’ve never been a great fan of dogs with long fur, but there was something about this one that told you, you shouldn’t give up on him, and so you didn’t.

After you convinced the little dog that you could be trusted, he slowly started to walk towards you and out of his safe hiding place, with his little tail in between his legs as he was smelling the hand you were holding out to him. Once he felt comfortable enough he started to wiggle his tail at you, and it was then that you took him in your arms, and at home with you.

“Good boy, come on now I’ll take you home with me… we’re both lonely so, I don’t see a problem with that!” you laughed as you caressed that little ball of fur in your arms, “Hopefully Mason won’t either…”

It was your day off work, so that meant that once you were home you could take the usual morning shower and then take your new friend to the vet. And that’s what you did, you took him to the vet, after you asked one of your friends for advice, and luckily he was perfectly healthy. He was scared as he was still shaking, but apart from that everything was okay, so you could take him back home with you.

On your way home you stopped by a pet shop to buy everything for the puppy that was currently sleeping in your car; the poor dog must have been really exhausted to fall asleep just like that with someone he barely knew, it was either that or the fact that he was already sensing that he could trust you.

As soon as you got home, you let the small dog walk around your garden, making sure he would do his business before he got inside. Just as you were putting his dog bed in your living room, you heard your phone ringing and saw Mason’s name flash on your screen.

“Hey baby, hi!” you said as soon as you picked up your phone, putting the dog’s things in his new basket you bought for him.

“Hi my gorgeous girl, how are you?” he asked in his usual chirpy tone.

“Oh I’m fine… yeah I’m just cleaning up the house,” you said, not saying anything about the dog, “you know, usual day off things…”

“I’ll be back tomorrow, and you should come to mine as I’ll have plenty of things for you to put in order!” he joked, as you heard him laughing through the phone, “Jokes aside, I want you at mine tomorrow, I missed you so much during these days babygirl…”

“Mase please don’t…” you breathed as you bit your bottom lip at the pet name he called you with.

“Don’t what? Can’t I call you babygirl?...” he said lowering his voice, making you hear the smirk in it.

“Exactly you can’t! It’s not even lunch time and you’re already trying to make me horny!” you whined as you walked to the glass door to take a glance at what the dog was doing; he was running and playing around the grass, making you smile as you watched him.

“Don’t blame me. I know you’re always horny for me…” he sassed, “Look I have to go now, so are we okay for tomorrow??”he asked you once again.

“Uhm I don’t know babe, I have a long day at work, can I give you an answer tomorrow??” you tried to keep yourself afloat while you reasoned on how you could go to work when you just found a puppy to take care of. And while you tried to come up with a way to tell Mason about it.

“Oh okay, sure!” he said, “Talk to you later okay? Love you!”

“Love you too baby!” you quickly said before ending the call and letting the dog in.

It was time for you to have lunch, and for your pet to eat his food too. So you put his food in his bowl and put it down right in front of his paws, hoping he would like it and eat it.

“Aw you were hungry little one!” you happily said, stroking his back as he devoured everything in his bowl, “I take it you liked it, good boy!”

It didn’t take long for him to find his bed, and even less to fall asleep once again, but this time he clearly fell in a food coma judging by the amount of food he ate. That gave you the opportunity to eat your lunch and call your best friend. You would always call her at lunch time, but this time you had a favor to ask her, and as always she didn’t let you down saying that the next day she would take care of your dog while you were at work without a problem.

One problem was solved, and another one was left to be solved. How were you supposed to tell Mason that you just took a stray dog in your home? Would he be okay with having a dog the moment you’d move in together? You didn’t know but you’d think about that when the right moment would come, now there was no way you could leave that cutie out in the cold.

But eventually the Mason situation resurfaced again, when the morning after he called you to ask you about your plans for the evening.

“Babe it’s fine, I know you have lots of things going on at work…” hearing him saying that broke your heart, his sad voice shattered it to be precise, but you couldn’t leave that puppy alone and you couldn’t bring it to Mason’s, “I only thought it would have been nice to see each other after these two weeks we spent apart…”

“I know baby, I hate my job so much right now…” you whined as you really wanted to see him, you just didn’t know what to do with your dog.

“Listen, I’ll wait for you, even if you finish late I’ll wait for you…” he reassured you, “We might have to skip movie night, but we could cuddle all the same, or maybe even better…”

“This sounds so tempting Mase…” you mused, “I’ll see what I can do, okay?”

“Okay baby, now hurry up or you’ll be late.” he instructed, as he knew your shifts by heart.

“Yeah I’m on my way, I’ll call you later!” you told him, waving to your friend that just arrived at yours.

“Drive safely my love, I love you.” he said, making kissy noises into the phone.

“Will do, I love you too silly!” you laughed before he ended your phonecall.

After you instructed your friend on everything she needed to know about your dog, you left your house and went to work, trying to concentrate on your tasks for the day. Needless to say your head was always going back to Mason, there was no way you could keep that dog a secret for too long.

In the meantime you didn’t know that Mason was keeping a secret of his own. He was already home, way before he had anticipated, and he was taking care of the things he brought with him on international break. He put everything in its place, just leaving the laundry to be done the morning after, and that meant that he could relax while he waited for you to come out of work. He knew you were working your ass off, and he was absolutely proud of you; so proud that he decided to surprise you once you were home.

But something wasn’t adding up to him as he was stood at your front door with his copy of your house keys in his hand; you didn’t have a dog, yet there was a little ball at the feet of the two stairs that led to your house. He shrugged it off, thinking that perhaps it landed there by mistake and that wasn’t yours, and silently opened your front door.

When he took the few steps into your entry he noticed a bone shaped toy at his feet, and frowned at that, then he heard your voice. But it wasn’t your usual voice, it was like a sweetest version of it, it was like you were talking with a baby. He slowly followed the sound of it, taking silent steps towards your living room where he saw you.

You were sitting on the ground, with your back leaning on the sofa. Your back was turned to him so he couldn’t see what you were doing, until what looked like a puppy jumped on your lap making you giggle. That sound was like music to Mason’s ears and he found a lovesick smile making its way on his lips as he looked at you.

“Jesus Mason! You scared me!!!” out of the corner of your eye you noticed his tall frame behind you, the sight instantly made you jump as you screamed at him, wrapping the little dog in your arms in a protective way, “What are you doing here??”

“I thought I could surprise you, but I ended up being the surprised one?” he smiled as he cocked his head by the side.

“I can explain…” you started, as you watched Mason padding his way to you after he left his shoes by the door, “I found him at the park, I know he’s not what I dream about in a dog but he looked so scared and sad, I had to take him home…”

“Who do we have here??” he softly said, not even hearing your words as his focus was only on that white and brown ball of fur, “Hi! Hi little one! Nice to meet you! What’s your name??” he cooed, looking as if that little thing had him under his spell.

“He doesn’t have a name Mase…” you answered on the dog’s behalf.

“Aw you don’t?? We have to find you a name then…” Mason said, raising his eyes from the dog to you, “Don’t we?”

“We do?” you said surprised, “You’re okay with it??”

“Of course I am! I love dogs babe! And this little one here has something special!” he chuckled as the dog licked his hand.

“Great, I was afraid of nothing…” you groggily mumbled under your breath.

“You were afraid of telling me about him??” he looked at you with a confused expression on his face before he burst out laughing, making the dog jump in his lap too.

“Hey don’t make fun of me!” you said pushing him by his shoulder and making the puppy jump to the floor before he made its way up your legs once again.

“Hey stay put! I wanna take a picture of you buddy…” he instructed the dog as he quickly took his phone out of his joggers’ pocket, “Stay…” he murmured in concentration while he snapped countless pictures of your dog resting on your legs.

“Are you done now??” you laughed as you could tell the puppy was getting annoyed at him, he wanted to move not to pose for pictures that was surely not in his nature.

“He’s just the cutest dog ever! Who is the cutest dog ever?? You are! Yes you are!” he cooed scratching behind the dog’s ears, “Y/N, move in with me.” he blurted out suddenly.

“What??” you asked dumbfounded.

“Move in with me! We already have a dog, we now need to share a house!” he said like it was the most obvious thing in the world, “Do it for our fur baby!” he said while he held the happy puppy close to his face as he pouted to convince you.

“Fur baby Mason?? Really??” you couldn’t help but let a laugh escape you, “Okay I’ll move in with you, but we should definitely give him a name first…”

“You will??” he jumped up to his feet, hugging that poor puppy tight to his chest.

“Careful Mason! He’s still so tiny!” you scolded him, making him stop in his tracks and look like a child who’s just acted naughtily while he put the puppy on the floor.

“I have it!” he exclaimed, “I have the perfect name! Can I say it??”

“What is it?” you crossed your arms, waiting curiously for his suggestion.

“What do you say about George? I mean you found him while I was away…” he tried to explain as you looked at him a little confused, “While I was at St George’s Park Y/N!”

“Oh I get it now!” you slapped yourself mentally for not understanding it sooner, “I like it, George… it has a nice ring to it!”

“George it is then!” Mason said as he lowered to his knees to caress the dog’s head, “Hey George! Do you like your name??”

While you cooked dinner for you and Mason, as he was playing around with your fur baby, you couldn’t believe you were actually afraid of telling him about the dog. The thought alone made you smile now, as you carelessly opened your Instagram. What you found there took you by surprise: all you were seeing as you scrolled down were pictures of Mason and George, or George alone, or even George on your legs. Mason’s profile had quickly become George’s profile. After you liked all of his photos with George, you switched to TikTok. Even there, the first video you saw was a video of Mason acting silly with George once again. You had to suppress a laugh before you made your way to your living room, where you found Mason taking pictures of a sound asleep George.

“Mase you should really stop putting our baby on socials! Don’t you know it’s not good for his privacy??” you joked putting your hands on your waist.

“But babe look!!!” he said as he pointed at the sleeping puppy, “He’s too cute! I can’t resist him!” he whined with bleary eyes.

You had lost him, to a dog you were afraid of telling him about. And the thought made you smile once again, as you thought that you should be afraid about Mason loving George more than he loved you, and not about him not wanting that furry friend like you first believed.

dont worry abt needing to add anything i just wanna share this idea b4 i forget it but also i dont rlly know any1 who likes warriors so,,,

okay i saw a little animation on utube about fallen leaves and while i was reading up on his wiki it hit me

in outcast, after jaypaw has been having dreams about fallen n his death, n after meeting him while looking 4 the missing kits in the tunnels, fallen asks him to stay but jay declines.

what if, unhappy w/ being forced to be a medcat, and wanting to live his *own* life he accepts? and a similar thing to what happened to holly happens where the cave entrance collapses (whether fallen and jay had smth to do with it or it was just convenient, idk), n everyone thinks that jay died saving these kits. but really hes living his best life in the caves. fallen teaches him how to hunt and fight well, bc the caves are dark, 's not like you can see very well even if you weren't blind.

and jay starts having the dreams where he's jay's wing, back in the ancients time, and its a little different where instead of having a crush on halfmoon he (jay's Wing) had a crush on fallen before fallen died in the caves. and thats why jay brings up the idea to leave to the mountains. and when he ends up back in the present he realizes that he once again has a crush on fallen.

and fallen remembers, or recognizes jay as jay's wing and is like "oh... Oh!" and realizes he also, once again, has a crush. and so jay choses that as his full name. Jaywing.

jay starts walking in dreams and having visions of The Battle, and at this point its been a couple of years at this point, the whole thing w/ ashfur happened and the gathering where holly tells after killing ash happens, and jay finds out through holly's dreams, bc shes projecting her own fears, anger, and insecurities hard while she sleeps. and that really makes jay upset but then he talks w/ fallen and comes to the conclusion that it doesnt matter who his real parents were, bramble and squirrel are still his parents to him.

eventually with the battle looming on the horizon, and rock urging him to go, he leaves the caves. and returns to thunderclan. n fallen can follow him due to his powers, and at first the clan think jay is a rogue or loner, but its dove who has Never seen him before who mentions that he's blind just from observing how carful he puts his paws down that everyone freezes before going "jay???"

and oh mouse dung, hes no longer a grumpy, scrawny medcat apprentice. he's still on the shorter side but he filled out, muscle no one thought he'd have ripples beneath his coat, he's as strong as a *warrior*. and has the skills as one, too. he can hunt and fight as well as the rest of them, its almost like he isn't blind when he's actually in the zone. but he still bumps into things n trips over roots or uneaven ground.

and yeah the Battle happens and he's out there, using his starsight to fight along side fallen leaves, until the battle is won and fallen reunites with his family, and is torn between staying with jay in the caves and actually going where hes supposed to. jay tells him to go, he'll be okay, and to wait for him.

but wait, if cats can be reincarnated and have powers... why can't the tribe of endless hunting and starclan let him properly live where he left off? so hes given another chance and put back into the tunnels with a physical form, and meets jay again and joins him in thunderclan.

ok actually i kinda lov this? im a suckr 4 ghost romance & jay being like ok actually fuck yall........... i would perhapz move the kit thing a little further down the timeline so tht jay is a bit older tho, maybe

like the idea tht part of why fallen asked for him to stay waz a hint of fimiliarity tht just growz & one day he just like... Seez it on jayz face whn he wakez up from a dream about the ancients- or like maybe jay callz him by a nickname from timez long since passed, tht kinda thing? on one hand im like yea on the other the trope of "i like u bcuz u remind me of a dead personi loved" isnt my fav but like a little sprinkle isnt bad

interesting 2 think of wht would happen 2 hollyleaf with her escape into the cavez long since blocked off by both rockz n the truma of loosing a sibling.... like, doez she stay in the clanz? might be fun if she ended up living in the field tht crow & leaf once tried 2 leave thru, but also he awkwardly still being in thunderclan..... lov tht

n well i just Cannot care about the battle i do LOV jaywing coming out of the tunnelz just likle hai guyz whtz up :3 as if he didnt fake his own death.... also the idea of jay using his dreamwalking ability 2 just check up on his family & see how thy r like. Doing

idk about fallen coming back with a body bcuz tht seemz like more thn starclan or endless hunting could do but also it would be VERY VERY weird 4 fallen 2 come back w/ the regular method of being reborn a kit.......... pursonaly i think it would be fun for him 2 stay a ghost but no longer be attached 2 the cave system- instead just exploring & hanging out with jay who can alwayz sense his presence- other catz somtimez catch glimpsez but hez not like. very tangible most timez.... many catz think jay probably just lost it a little in the tunnelz, not tht he rly goez around like hey evry1 herez my ghost make he just talkz 2 himself, laughz at seemingly nothing, tht kinda thing

just random headcanons for Sebastian :D

Sorry this one is so late!! I write a lotta Seb headcanons in general so it was kinda hard comin up with these. Hope you enjoy!!

Sebby Headcanons!

The farmer, Robin, and Sam are the only ones that can call him Sebby. Abigail tried it once and got a snowball thrown at her face. Sam occasionally calls him Seabass, too. Seb doesn’t care for it.

Sebastian’s love for frogs started as a child. There was a little creek near his house, so everytime it rained, he would see a frog. He and his dad used to go looking for them late at night and early in the morning. He misses those times.

Sebastian is really good at cooking! I can’t remember if there’s anything in canon about this, but who cares! He learned how to cook when he was younger. Now, since he rarely eats with the rest of his family, he cooks for himself, usually just making instant ramen or cheap microwaveable dinners. His talents are totally wasted smh.

Seb dies for those stupid Hallmark movies. Only Sam knows about this because he forgot to knock and saw Sebastian crying over a romcom about a generic hetero couple with basic problems that could be solved with the tiniest bit of communication. He makes fun of him for it years after. (As he should. Hallmark movies suck ass.)

Sebastian plays Animal Crossing New Horizons but his island is ,,, less than stellar. He has the museum finished, but his island is a mess. He doesn’t really care about making it look good, he’s just about completing the game. He has loads of other games (all gifts from Sam for his birthday), but he prioritizes ACNH.

Seb sucks at first-person shooter games. Abigail likes to play them and always tries to get Seb into it, but he’s not good at reacting to things quickly. He likes more lowkey games where he doesn’t need to like,, think all the time.

Sebastian was terrible at school. He was put into all of the advanced and honors classes in highschool, but he hated it, so he tried to fail his classes. He ended up getting straight A’s because Demetrius yelled at him whenever he got a zero on something. He’s still mad about it. He won’t admit it, but part of the failing was to spite Demetrius and Maru, who are always praised for their intelligence. He needed something that separated him from them, even if it was negative.

Sebastian got his ears pierced in Sam’s room when they were thirteen. Sam got one of his ears done before he backed out, but Seb went all the way. In highschool, he got his tongue pierced in some guy’s basement during a party. It got infected within like, a week. He still thinks about redoing it sometime.

Sebastian’s favorite show is Avatar: The Last Airbender. No I’m not projecting onto Seb what? He loves TLOK too, but ATLA is his favorite.

Sebastian likes lofi music better than anything. Like, emo music is great and all, but he loves laying down with the lofi music playing in the background and taking naps. It’s relaxing!

Hopefully that was good enough for y’all ! I love writing for Seb soso much. He’s one of my favorites. Maybe I’ll post smth else tonight too!!! I’ve been in a huge SDV mood since my partner starting playing it too. :)

Anyways, yes! Plenty of headcanons for both but I kept it to 3 for each so this post doesn't get too long.

Labrys:

- Labby is super clumsy. While she does have sensors helping her with balance and awareness of where her limbs/surroundings are, those sort of things aren't anywhere near as natural or smooth to her as they would be for us humans, especially when you consider that she's an older model. She's constantly banging her arms on doorframes, tripping over stairs, knocking things off of shelves, breaking furniture, everything. For the most part it's no big deal (she finds it funny, especially that one time she tripped so hard she fell through the floor, and maybe her friends will ribb her for it a bit but all in good fun). However, it does sometimes serve as a small reminder that she's not quite human, and can highlight her insecurities when she's already feeling down.

- This one is inspired by a couple of Labrys's victory lines from bbtag (kinda bad game, but good crossover fanservice and labby content), the main one being her win quote when paired with yuzuriha, but one of my fav headcanons for her is that when she's really comfortable around someone she just. Drops all pretense about her mechanical body and pulls a lot of shenanigans with it. It's like amputee "hey can you lend me a hand" "Sure! *tosses prosthetic*" jokes, but with her entire body. There's so much comedy potential here.

- Labrys loves video games. Like a lot. When she's first free and trying to find her place in the world, someone hands her a game console and a copy of zelda or mario or cod or smth and it's love at first sight. She's pretty bad at most of them, she doesn't quite have the fine hand dexterity to work most controllers very well and she's very bad at picking up on those subtle cues devs use to guide players around without being handholdly. And have you ever seen someone who's never played a video game before try to do something as simple as walking around while moving the camera? It's like watching a baby try to do advanced math. She's like that. However, there's one exception: fighting games. She's obsessed. A fightstick is a lot easier for her to use than your standard controller, and she dominates at the sort of mindgames and quick thinking fighting games require. She gets so hypercompetitive over them too, it's her absolute favorite hobby. I might go more in-depth about this later bc it's probably my fav headcanon ever (fighting game character obsessing over fighting games), but this section is getting way too long already.

Sumire:

- Sumire fights extremely well against opponents with heavy armor and strong defenses that'd normally give everyone else a ton a trouble. Since she's built around her high crit rate and speed, in a non-game setting I interpret that as her being naturally very, very good at finding tiny chinks in armor and small weak spots to pierce through. This is enhanced by her use of a rapier, and watching her gracefully dance around her opponents' attacks like it's nothing and then strike at openings nobody else even noticed were there is always an incredible sight to see.

- I feel like Sumire's hair when it's down is a lot curlier than it actually is ingame. This has always bugged me, she has this super curly ponytail but the moment she takes her ribbon out it's razor straight? Not buying it. Plus her canon haircut with her glasses on makes her look a little too much like futaba, like to the point where I've mixed up fanart of them a couple times. I do understand why they went with the straight hair ingame, animating long hair in 3d is infamously a NIGHTMARE, and straight hair is easier than curly hair to get right. This is probably the reason she still wears her hair up in the metaverse even before you max out her confidant and she puts it back up again. Long, loose hair with all those twirly flippy tricks she does? Forget it. I do NOT blame the animation team for taking the easy route with that one, my god. But I do think having her hair be naturally curly/wavy would look much nicer and give her a bit more of a visual identity, avoid those situations where her hair suddenly goes from straight as a ruler to super curly/vice versa in 2 seconds, and also could make for another nice contrast with Kasumi vs "Kasumi." What if Kasumi was the one with naturally straight hair, and the bouncy curly ponytail Sumire associated with her was actually a result of Kasumi being jealous of Sumire's natural hair texture and curling it every day?

- Lastly, I feel like Sumire would be feel like a bit of an outsider around the other phantom thieves and have a huge irrational need to prove herself in her friendships with them as a result. She's both the last one to join and joins after everything important to their main mission has already gone down. For that reason, I feel like she might struggle sometimes to feel like a part of the group, like she's constantly missing a bunch of inside jokes and bonding experiences she wasn't there for. The others pick up on her insecurity on their own, reassuring her at every step of the final palace that she's just as capable as the rest, but that's not the thing she's actually insecure about. After everything is said and done, the year's over, the group is splitting up, she finds herself being the one to reach out to everyone else and try to maintain everyone's bonds and prove herself to be worthy as a part of the group. To her suprise and utter joy, the rest of them are just as excited to get closer to her, too.

Amount of sleep: last night I got like 7.5 hours and I usually take a long nap everyday lol.

Lucky number: don’t have one! Usually I’d just pick my birthday number but it’s 13 which is an unlucky number 😔

Favorite song: Little Pistol by Mother Mother. Fave song from my fave band. I also really love The Other Side of Paradise by Glass Animals. Honestly try fave song changes a lot to whatever song makes me pace around my house listening to it on repeat for hours but these two are pretty consistent in making me do that.

Favorite instrument: I’m a percussionist in my school band so my fave instruments are the ones that like aren’t even instruments they’re just funky little tools for whatever piece we’re doing (in this case I played an anvil and hammer and it was the highlight of the year lol). But in terms of actual instruments probably marimba or piano.

Favorite author: this is hard because I don’t really have any? If I had to choose maybe Anthony Doerr (his writing style is very pretty) or Leigh Bardugo (world building and dialogue are super interesting)

Dream job: something with writing. An author ... mayhaps

Aesthetic: idk if this means aesthetic I like or aesthetic I have. So I’ll do the ones I like (I don’t rlly have an aesthetic rip) but I like a lot of outside aesthetic things? Like summer nights w/ lamplight, foggy autumn days, sitting on the porch during misty rain. Stuff like that I enjoy a lot. Idk if these are aesthetics but.

Favorite animal noise: my cat Luna’s little meow whimper thing she does. She doesn’t fully meow she like .... meeps. And it’s rlly cute. I also like bird noises

Random: I did a mile time trial for track yesterday and my coach said he’d give me 25$ if I beat this guys time on my team who ran yesterday (we r doing hybrid learning so the team is split depending on name) and he ran a 5:40 mile so I was like ok I can do that if I rlly push. N e way I ended up missing it by 9 seconds and didn’t get the 25 bucks :(. Also I haven’t done speed work since quarantine so that’s the fastest I’ve run in six months and I forgot that sprinting makes your sides sore more than ur legs and I went to crouch down and pick smth up and fell over bc it hurt so much 😔.

The sun shined bright into your shared bedroom. It was too bright to let the eyes shut down. But it was too comfortable to leave the bed. The atmosphere was calm and warm.

Even his messy hair which tickles your nose didn’t bother this moment. Well okay, it bothers a bit. But you let him sleep peacefully on your chest.

You could imagine he came back late in the night and just collapsed when arriving at the bed. And in his sleep, he cuddled up to you. It was so sweet to you. Even after defeating the calamity, people need him and of course, he helps as much as he can. It often means he isn’t around home. But when he is home, he seemed to enjoy every minute with you.

And you could enjoy it, too. He was a great blanket. And well, he was your one and only. You still could not believe he chose you to be his mate.

He slowly breathed in and out. You could see a single hair strand who danced to his breath. It was kind of cute. When in bed, he often open up is long and golden hair. You often told him he should wear his hair more open. But well, he only did it at your home.

You laid there and admire his figure when he started shift a bit. His eyes were still closed but you know he was now awake.

“Morining, sleepyhead” you giggled a bit and continued.

In seconds, you were in the kitchen und started preparing breakfast. For his sweet tooth, you made some pancakes. From the garden, you took some apples and put some slices in the pancakes. You prepared the coffee and juice, put some plates on the table and finished cooking.

You knew what a sleepyhead Link was. But you were astonished every time when he stands before you after waking up. Well, his hair was messy, his eyes were more close than open, he yawns a bit and he walked very slowly. But hey, he found time to dress up in his tunic and his boxer shorts.

“You made it in time” you said in a cheerful voice, he only yawns.

You walked up to him and placed a kiss on his lips. You hoped it would make him more awake.

“Morning, Love” you said after parting his lips. You could see a little smile in his face. The morning kiss worked.

“Morning” he said and yawns again. Then his stomach made sounds again and he walked up to the table.

“It looks tasty” he said and you only could laugh.

“Well, I hope it also taste good. And now sit and let us start breakfast”

So you two started breakfast and it did well with Link – It got him more awake.

It was kind of fascinating to you how much he could eat. While you ate one pancake and an apple, he ate 7 pancakes and the other 2 apples. And you knew deep inside he still had place for more food in his stomach. You were a bit envy how he could eat so much without getting fat.

Link had a big grin on his face like a little child who got his toy to play. It was hell adorable for you to see him peaceful like that.

“Thanks for it, [Y/N]” he said and rubbed his belly. “It was really delicious”

“I’m glad you liked it. You were really starving, I guess”

“You’re right. The last days we had short time eating something. I guess I only eat two apples the last 3 days. I am glad I’m now home”

“I am also glad you’re home. You can help me with the chores”

The face he made was priceless.

“But you said…we would…cuddle…the day” he stuttered a bit.

You could only chuckle.

“Yes, I said that. But I didn’t mean it all the day. The dirty cloths, the garden, feeding the animals…You know this will be more without doing something. Or do you prefer running around naked all the day?”

hyouka poly slowburn so its like: (post-anime)

satoshi and mayaka are dating all through highschool and houtarou and eru are maybe a little more invested than friends would normally be, and step in when they have problems to a degree that regular people would call a boundary issue.

houtarou and mayaka still give each other shit at every opportunity, but theyre much more outwardly friendly than before, and if she ever argues w satoshi houtarou is the first to say that theres no way its her fault. maybe one time it is and he confronts her abt it in a way that forces her to take him seriously. its the respect and codependency for me.

mayaka and satoshi have functioning eyes and houtarous feelings for eru are completely obvious to them. unfortunately shes a little harder to read, so they never really get further than being very close friends and committing to being together for the foreseeable future, as far as this road will take them - its the same dynamic for the entire friend group, but satoshi starts seriously considering a proposal in third year.

he and mayaka will be seperated through college - she wants to go to art school, he thinks he might like to be a teacher (specifically of like, textiles or language) and he thinks long distance is too much to ask of her. after a serious conversation she agrees and they take a break through college, but they are tentatively engaged, will be keeping in touch, and want to pick things back up once theyre both in the same location again.

mayaka and eru flat in college, bringing up mayakas long buried feelings for her, and theyve always been so touchy, and she has a feeling that erus guilty about something? but she doesnt want to get her hopes up. she gets really frustrated and confides in the only person who knows both satoshi and mayaka and isnt involved - HOUTAROU, who attends a less prestigious college than eru but is taking similar business courses (he hasnt forgotten) and is commuting from home.

hes closer to them than satoshi, but theres still a little distance and they dont meet as often as theyd like, partially bc he doesnt often make the effort - the energy he does have is expended on his classes, bc he has a motivation to do well - if he does, maybe eru will consider him without him even putting himself out there. anyway she still calls him on the phone all the time tho.

he doesnt really have any advice when mayaka speaks to him, but hes quick to reassure her that satoshi wouldnt be bothered by her feelings - "because its eru". functioning adults refer to each other by their first names. it was a super embarassing transition period but theyre used to it now.

so mayaka takes the leap and eru admits that while shes never really been one to dwell on romantic feelings, she reciprocates but is concerned abt satoshi - she loves him too, after all, and he and mayaka were/are/will be a great couple. she ends up confessing this to houtarou, filled w apologies and assurances that he neednt worry abt her personal matters, but he doesnt mind listening. anyway it stings (in a sad way, not a bitter one) that she apparently has interest in both mayaka and satoshi but not him, but he REALLY cant blame her. he tells her that he doesnt know how to advise her and she thanks him for listening, and then he does probably the most meddlesome thing hes ever done and calls satoshi and tells him everything.

satoshi is really cool abt it, and hits him w "lol if theyre dating what if i just take you out to lunch. fairs fair. what do you mean you dont know about my massive crush on you, mr observer didnt pick it up? oh wow okay youre really stupid when it comes to yourself. ill pick you up on friday" and then satoshi calls mayaka and gives her his blessing and assures that he loves them both and wishes them the best and wow they REALLY need to catch up soon. hell bring houtarou and they can compare date notes! and he hangs up.

satoshi is still kind of a petty guy and he probably only confessed to houtarou bc he was taken off guard, but hes not being inauthentic by any means. this is the new improved satoshi 2.0, who is becoming more comfortable w there being things he doesnt like abt himself and working on them and getting his feelings out constructively, rather than pushing them down and refusing to put himself in situations that might turn out badly. he gets his hopes up again, and is happier for it even when hes let down.

eru is shocked to hear abt houtarou and satoshi. mayaka isnt. they talk abt it, interspersed w making out, and are shocked to realise that they like both of them - mayaka is ESPECIALLY taken off guard, both by her own feelings and erus, which shed never noticed before. she almost tells eru abt houtarous 3+ years of pining, but stops herself lest things get messy. shes starting to get an idea, but needs to tread lightly. besides, its not like houtarou wld ever like her. theyre barely even friends. it doesnt all add up as evenly as shed like.

for houtarous part, hes genuinely in wtf mode irt satoshis feelings for him, and hes been in eru chitanda hell for so long that he never considered anything else, but now that he IS.... satoshi isnt so bad. he was always really cute w mayaka, when he wasnt being annoying for fun and profit. sure. okay. so they do some gay double dating through college, but the cross couple pining dont stop. satoshi is absolutely still obsessed w mayaka, but houtarou doesnt mind bc he cant take his eyes off eru whenever they meet up either.

she still calls him on the phone all the time, and when schoolwork picks up he often finds himself calling her w thoughts or questions. they do some more thought exercises, but they dont need to argue as an excuse, and she barely has to badger him anymore. one day he looks at himself and sees a functioning adult who spends a moderate amount of energy on things that arent necessarily necessary, and wants to sigh, but. hes happy.

college ends and they all find themselves back in kamiyama - satoshi is student teaching at their old middle school, eru is hard at work for her family, mayaka is working while she works on her manga debut, and houtarou is working while he figures out what he actually wants.

its clear to all of them that mayaka and satoshi need to have a talk, so they do, and they come up with... poly. its unconventional, but they really are happy, and they really do love each other, and mayaka would love to start wearing her ring again (satoshi never took his off, and she pretended not to notice but she had the biggest lady boner over it).

so now sometimes eru and houtarou are hanging out while their boyfriend and girlfriend are out on dates being engaged, making up for lost time and considering the practicality of marriage while they both have sidepieces, and houtarou and eru are pining BAD, but neither notices the other and he asks how her business is going and maybe kind of offers his assistance platonically.

so now THATS happening, and satoshi and mayaka get to talking one day abt how those two should date, shld we do smth? and if they did then the only pieces missing are mayaka/houtarou and satoshi/eru which is a beautiful dream but wld never happen, what do you mean he/she wld love to date you, wait really, oh my god, what, are we doing this,

and houtarou who has been working himself up to confessing for the past SEVEN YEARS, never gets to bc satoshi and mayaka interrupt while theyre at work and do it for him

ahhhh i really hope so, too! they’re quite old, so i’m hoping they’re doing ok during the pandemic ): ah yeah, i’ve been to quite a few of them!! i really enjoy seeing and petting all the animals, but picking fruit is quite fun! of course, it’s not fun after doing it for more than a couple hours, but my family likes to drive out to the cherry orchards outside of the city and pick some when they’re in season! my parents also really like fruit trees, so we have over 30 different variety of fruits in our backyard :’) and a little veggie garden!! college is honestly my favorite time out of all my schooling, like yes, the independence is amazing, and you’re not like a whole adult yet, y’know?? i still get to do a bunch of dumb things with my friends, but i’m also living on my own and having my own little place for myself is so nice!!! i miss it a lot ): my last quarter of college overall is being spent at home because of the virus, so i guess my true college days are over now /: but i’m sooo excited for you to experience college when you do! 💗

ooo omg yes i’ve seen that ‘your name’ before!! the graphics are indeed gorgeous :’) i watched the anime ‘free’ with my friends, and i remember it had absolutely stunning graphics, like especially the scenes with the cherry blossoms in the pool. and yes!!!! omg i was in hs when i saw it the first time and i was also like ??? no one looks like that here LOL i really enjoyed the progression of the relationship between tan and his brother, but i was really sad when his brother had to give up his gf ): tbh i liked the side stories more than the main couple in the heirs, like hyoshin and rachel made me happy for some reason askjdfhas

and oh nooo ): maybe you can repaint it into something you like? also, yes, that’s true! it’s easy to fix with oil since it takes like 12 days to fully dry! but it also means i have to wait a long time before painting the next part /: ah it’s personal preference for the color of your base, but i use yellow ochre because it’s not as noticeable if it shows through the paint layer on top of it! like if you don’t fully paint over an area, those tiny spots are more noticeable with white than a dull yellow color :) of course, if you’re doing a pastel, lighter color painting, then you should use white because that blends in more than the yellow! i tend to use a darker color palette, so i prefer the ochre :D and omg no worries, school is important! i hope your classes are going well 💕 and thank you! my weekend went well!! i finished my coding assignments, analyzed some case studies for class, and facetimed my friends 💓

Sanctuary-III: Demo Analysis

Hi again! I’m here to do my full Sanctuary-III analysis. (im back on my bullshit of actually structuring posts like a functioning human. holy mother of g-)

Tl;Dr: So from what I’ve gathered so far, Sanctuary-III looks like a Maliwan-inspired ship, but was actually built by a company named <SUPAMAX MFG>. I do think the ship we go on in the demo is taken from another part of the game, probably the time period when we’ve reached the Maliwan/Monastery planet of which I don’t know the name (the one we see Maya on). I understand that we can see Pandora in the demo, but it’d be easy to travel back there and simply remove the option for the monastery planet when we go to Promethea. I have a couple reasons for thinking this, so I’ll go over it when we get there.

For now, let’s get started :D

So, even though we’re going to be doing a full analysis of the demo, I did want to start with our previous sightings of the ship.

notice I say A ship because there are definitely differences between this one and the Sanctuary-III we meet in the demo.

Most notably the colors/design, but also the back engines are missing from below the spoiler and the fins on the front are different shapes. Additionally, the one in the cover has windows that are significantly different from the demo and the engines in demo have fins coming off the tops that we don’t see here. I’ve been yelled at before that this isn’t a noticeable enough difference to think about, that the developers just decided to roll with it, but honestly I believe if the designers put that much time into ensuring the cover art has a dozen easter eggs to solve, why would they look at the ship and decide “eh, that’s good enough”? I wanna believe they’re not that laidback about this.

So I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for now and provide a handful of theories as to what this cover art ship could be:

1. Sanctuary-II or an earlier model of Sanc-III (or both)

2. A shuttle used to move people to-and-from places Sanctuary-III is too large to access and the drop pods are too violent to hit (I’m thinking meteors/asteroids here) annnd hopefully we get to putz around space in one

3. A fully separate ship from Sanctuary-III that we’ll have to use later on in the game, either due to Sanctuary-III being destroyed, or other weird circumstances that would render it unavailable. Could possibly be used to reach Elpis?

Anyway, enough of that. Let’s get right into the thick of things with the actual ship from the demo!

This hit me right in the heart. I love that u can see Pandora in the background, too.

The actual ship! Do you see what I mean by those minor differences to the cover art ship? Moving on.

The reason I thought this ship was mainly because of the huge swaths of orange and the blue engines/bridge. I had thought it was Atlas as well at one point, but retracted both those statements when I saw the name of the manufacturer printed everywhere inside lol

It is possible it was made specifically for either of those companies. I am leaning towards Maliwan, so I’ll point out my reasons why as we move through this.

Also, check out the docking bay on the bottom there. That door leads to the large room we see Ellie in. I think the fins on the front of the ship are to hold it up when it’s landed so we can drive vehicles out the bottom. I am hoping for a scene near endgame where the ship is shielding us from huge attacks from above as we drive out of the bottom and, right as we escape, it collapses behind us. Fingers crossed.

also im going to take the time to point out

how much I love that each Vault Hunter gets something that glows. Amara has her tattoos (and she can customize the color!), Fl4k has their eye, Moze has Iron Bear’s digistruct pack, and Zane has a cool jacket. Rock on my babies, you’re all beautiful. Oh, and the whole teleporting animation for this, I don’t know if its like a “first time” only thing or what, but I love it, I love it so much. I’m so glad we’re going to be able to see our Vault Hunters in the third person.

so right away you notice the guide telling you where places are, with arrows point in different directions. It’s quite hard to read at the moment, but we do see it again later.

We all know about the quick change station and the lost-and-found, so I don’t think I ought to go over those right now.

claptrap seems to have his own little cereal or something, not sure if that’s been sighted anywhere else, but im afraid for anyone who eats it

We can see the display cases everywhere, but there’s also a vault (not that kind) in the back left. I imagine that’s the bank. Hoooopefully we get a larger storage capacity or my mule characters are gonna have a ton of new buddies to talk to lol

also apparently that water bottle we see in the Game of Thrones joke the twitter posted is an actual asset in the game.

While we have singular display cases for guns, it looks like items get their own display cases

it can show off rarity color and on the bottom left, you get to see exactly what you’re looking at. no more confusing grenade mods for shields in this house

a non-holographic poster for the Typhon Deleon movie. I think this is the first we’ve seen outside of Promethea. I guess Amara’s a fan.

A vault symbol rug, and the symbol spray painted onto her punching bag. I think that poster in the back is a Monty Python reference? I didn’t get quite a good look at it, we might see another one later on.

Amara has a window seat, I’m actually hoping we’ll be able to hang out in our rooms and look out the window at space. I would honestly spend so much time here. Also, regarding the bed (not pictured, that’s the window seat), I’m wondering if that will have any gameplay effects or if it's just aesthetics. I hope it’s at least bouncy...

she does have some jakobs crates holding up the plants. Don’t know if that has anything to do with her backstory or if its just to fit the aesthetic of her room.

we’re also told “again, you can modify your player quarters to how you want to play” which... I don’t know if I’m looking too deeply into that, but it seems like we’ll be able to pick and choose things like furniture or overall layout. I wonder if they’d let us cycle between the other VH’s rooms. Not sure exactly what it’s supposed to imply, but it is something to point out.

Now, I do want to point out we see this logo next to the cargo bay

this is one of the reasons I thought the ship was Atlas at first, however you can tell there’s no gap on the right of the triangle and the bottom edges don’t match. I definitely think the new Atlas logo is a delta to signify change, though, cause Rhys is a big ol nerd.

It looks like ‘Sanctuary’ was written over with something, but I can’t make out what. also checkout how the paint on top doesn’t match the paint on the cover art’s ship. Nor does the cover art have the fins coming off the engines like we see here. I actually just noticed that even the spoilers are different shapes.

Moving on before I go off on another tangent

this Amara already has 5/8 Pistol SDUs unlocked! (Also, there are 8 max SDUs) Makes me think she’s a high level character. That’ll come into play later lol

5/8 Backpack SDUS. I didn’t show it but she also had 1/8 Shotgun SDUs. Also only +3 to backpack space each. Considering Amara already has 5 unlocked, that means we get the regular 12 backpack space to start. D:

bank space only gets +2. Amara already has 2, meaning the bank can only hold 8 items without upgrades. F in chat for the big bank dreams. Max amount the bank can hold is 24. Somebody comfort me... hopefully these SDUs increase exponentially 😭

the mystery SDU. It looks like a box with a question mark on it, giving out guns and grenades. Makes me worry this is some form of loot box, but considering it can be bought with cash in-game, that’s probably a good sign. Maybe you can buy golden keys in game to open the gold chest now? Randy said no microtransactions and, while he is Randy, I want to believe him (disregarding the skins fiasco because we all knew that was coming).

since i’ve also seen speculation that it’s the upgrade for the capacity of the Lost-And-Found, I think that’s probably what this actually is.

the shooting range we can see from here. Doesn’t appear to have any targets yet, but it may be like the one in BL2 where they only appear when we enter.

looks like a control panel right in front of the core. Yeah, there’s definitely going to be something related to it. Maybe we’ll get attacked and we have to go stabilize it. Maybe our ship will get hijacked and we’ll have to blow it up from the inside. I can’t be the only one who thinks this place is wayyy too grand to not get destroyed...

i have no idea what this is, but i dig it. Also the zer0 for the O is making me go 🤔 i don’t THINK Zer0 would get involved, but then again, they are doing missions for Moxxi in Tales, so maybe the two got together to make something

this door seems different enough and detailed enough (red glowing light) to make me think we’re going to be unlocking this and going through it at some point. Then it shall glow green and make me happy instead of frustrated. the minimap, unfortunately, does not agree with me, but I want to believe. or that’s gonna bother me to no end. Maybe some sort of “we just escaped control core angel�� situation, idk.

The last column is about more crystals and then cash and then the last one... I assume the icons are Claptrap’s eye (considering the game), but the reward? i think that’s the grenade the demo player gets in the demo

we’ve also got Loot Boxer (also taken by an NPC) and Vault Line. I’m wondering if the NPCs using the machines are just a gameplay mechanic and they’ll disappear after a certain level/event. Maybe those ones give us better loot. idk.

for Vault Line, i think that says “Knockout Prizes” but I could be wrong. More importantly, it looks like we can get legendaries from this one! First column shows a green/purple/yellow (legendary?) gun. I can’t tell what the other icons are meant to be, though. i think the next 3 are shields, then maybe class mods? or... grenade mods? i don’t know. The last one is a total blob for me, no ideas on that. Also wondering if that machine costs Eridium to play or something, 1) because of its design and 2) because the rewards seem sooo much better than Claptrap’s.

outside we see the Crew Quarters sign for the first time and, interestingly enough, a TV broadcasting the same symbol we see being broadcasted all across the CoV camps. What’s up with that?

a map of the ship. We see this on a bunch of monitors, even ones on Promethea, for some reason. This one is mirrored. dunno why.

Right top to bottom: “Engine Room” (OwO) “Crew Quarters” “Cargo Bay” “Armory” annnd nothing on the last line this bend around. when they turn the corner, you can see that it, too, says “infirmary”

so, here’s where we get our first glance at something very very interesting

now, the crew makes us think this is our first time visiting Promethea in the demo. But if it is, why are there Promethea civilians wandering around the ship? I believe i go over this some in an older post, but I’ll recap:

1) It could be that Sanctuary III was already in the air before the game starts and had already visited Promethea to take some Civilians off Rhys’s hands so he had less to worry about. That would mean that we’d need a shuttle or something to reach the ship in order to activate the fast travel station, which is (possibly) where the ship on the cover art could come in. Because in the borderlands universe, you need to reach a Fast Travel station first before you’re able to teleport to it and if Sanc III is flying and Lilith doesn’t have her powers, we’re stranded on Pandora. (Alternatively, the ship could come down from space, but... I kinda doubt it can without not being able to take off again. Maybe borderlands just has cooler spaceships... idk. They were able to make a caravan space capable). Unfortunately, this would mean those screencaps from the new trailer that looks like Sanctuary III being infested with wildlife would not take place on early-game Pandora/that we wouldn’t rescue the ship and claim it as our own. (We could possibly get Sanctuary III in the air in the new BL2 DLC if this is the case.) The ship getting infested then could take place above the Maliwan planet or Promethea or soon after we join the crew and we’re sent down there to clean it up as a side quest. Or there’s a time skip and the ship gets overrun and we have to fix it. Now that’d be rad...

2) gearbox is being sneaky beaky about the demo time. We do see Maya later on, which leads me to believe this takes place after we meet her. Where does it look like she’ll be? On the Maliwan/Monastery planet. It could be possible that the devs took the ship back to Pandora and simply removed the Maliwan planet from the list of places to take our ship. That would leave Promethea as an option while also explaining why there are both Promethean citizens and Maya on board. Could also explain Lilith having her tattoos back, since we don’t know the events of the story that lead to us going to find Maya. Though, I think I have an idea... I’ll leave that for my Maya masterpost though. Lilith also says “We arrived in one piece... that’s a first” when we travel to Promethea, leading me to believe either that’s where Sanctuary-II warped and got destroyed (maybe explaining why there are Promethea Civilians with us now), possibly in the asteroid fields, also maybe due to a mechanical failure, or Sanctuary-III, when it first went to Promethea with us, got a bit damaged by the rocks floating around Promethea or some other thing like the CoV attacking, idk. What are those rocks for, anyway? ....... I gotta make a post on that, don’t I? oi oi oi...

okay, so

not sure if its exactly the same material/type of symbol, but this location, what i have dubbed the “temple” cuz i got no better name for it, does have square emblems across the floor with borders.

so, interestingly, this one has what looks like an eye with beams shooting out of it. if that description sounds familiar to you, it should, because

now i got no idea if these are related aside from being in the same game, but it does interest me that they’ve both got eyeballs and streaky beams.

Oh and Tannis’s Vault symbol doesn’t have the writing (?) across the edges, but I will say, it does kinda look like cuneiform and eridian writing had a baby. Like, if you super heavily pixelate the Watcher’s name on her title card...

tbh I’ve theorized a lot about this place, but haven’t found anything I particularly like. From the place where the first Vault Atlas ever opened is (meaning its on Promethea and could explain why Tannis has that slab), the Great Vault’s holding place (where the skeleton on the ground is Typhon and his final journal) (perhaps the Great Vault is the entryway to the Eridian homeworld... that could explain why the CoV are trying to find it... might be a reason why they’re being manipulated by new aliens to find it. god please let them be the Seraphs...) uh, anyway, I also had an idea that it was someplace on the Maliwan planet, and maybe that it was in the archives area that was taken over by Maliwan and that the skeleton was of a Siren. That would explain why Maya is shown handing the book to Little Blue in the MoM. I go over that in an old post though, so moving on.

oh, there’s also a frame of Tannis’s animation where the dinosaur she was inside stands up and clips through the table:

there’s a small room over here we don’t get to see, and I’m wondering if there’s another NPC joining us on Sanctuary-III that isn’t showcased. god I hope if its pickle he got more bearable as he got older because dear god i hated him in tps. I can’t see Athena nor Janey with a desk like that. Maybe Vaughn? Though would he really want to go back to being an accountant after everything...?

Definitely wondering if this takes place later on in the story or if they swapped her early game model in. either way, they’re definitely there.

I wish they’d be more specific. do ruins = vault? Typhon says he discovers the Vault and the Key in one fell swoop. if Typhon DID give atlas the Vault key and the location to the Vault (and we’re not just listening to an ARG for the movie or smth) then why didn’t Atlas open it immediately?! I mean, in TFTBL Cassius says Gortys is their last ditch attempt at opening a Vault! So what the heck?? I can’t believe that it would be less than 200 years from the first Vault being discovered to the Eridians abandoning everything. like vault keys take 200 years to naturally charge so there’s no reason why it wouldn’t be already charged and available (Unless its more of a cycle thing where it charges and then discharges after a while for safety’s sake??).

And another thing, if that IS Eridium growing out of the ground on Promethea, then they totally DID open the first Vault. Or at least Typhon did. Unless there was something stopping them... like... Maybe in the temple those demon-looking-things stopped them from getting through and that’s why we find a bunch of skeletons around the place? Or maybe the Guardians got to them, or some other Eridian protection scheme. i don’t know... im so confused... brain hurt...

something based on friends ?? a tiny thing where we get 3 characters each and they can be heavily based on the friends character or just a little bit ? then we can have like relationships between them . friendships ? old flings ? siblings ? different dynamics for each of them and threads with more than one at the same time. they always go to the same coffee shop together or they are always in each others apartment. a has a thing for b but b is oblivious and b has always been bffs with c and so on. honestly it can be so much fun and so pure ? pls i deserve nice things

okay but like a group of high school friends and their older selves ?? ? ?? ?? like we could set all the high school threads in the 80s ?? ? ? ?? ? and have different personalities ? and then we also have threads like in 2018 years later when they see each other again in the high school reunion ? just ? pls? the high school sweethearts who signed the divorce papers three years ago and we are doing both the thread in which they fell in love and the one where they see each other again for the first time after the divorce. the high school rebel who became the local sheriff and the girl he loved who used to be the biggest nerd who had a thing over their last summer. we are doing both their wild adventures and them seeing each other again for the first time bc she moved back with her parents. the two best friends who remained best friends for all those years and they are seeing all of those people again and it’s just like ‘oh man glad this didn’t Help to us’ and we can have them as teens bickering and making fun of their teacher and them years later at the bar like ‘i miss having adventures like we used to’ there are so many possibilities ? for like people who grew disillusioned with their lives ? or people who got really successful . ? people who stopped talking altogether ? people who remained friends forever ?? ? plspls it could be so nice

Okay but a group of old immortals/wizards/witches ? something a long the lines of the originals but they are not all siblings or the hogwarts funders but there is no school involved. like they have known each other for centuries and they have been friendly-ish. they probably got a hand in many important world changing events in history and like maybe they have to come together and stop the apocalypse every 500 years or one of them call them all up and it’s like ‘hey guys so skarsgård is going all ruler of the world again and i can’t stop him alone bc he is more powerful than me so could you pls? help me?‘ ? ? ? ? there are so many possibilities. we could play with different types of characters like ( one wizard who spent the last 100 years in a hole on the ground and he is just done with humanity while there is another one traveling around and trying to write a beautiful book about humans and life but it lowkey sounds like a fake deep tweet ) or like hundred years old relationships where they go ‘making me jealous in 1954 didn’t work why do you think it’s gonna work now?’ or smth like ‘baby we have been together for 3 centuries and you still make me blush’ OR OR we could get more into plot like half of them go ‘i’m done with saving humans every hundred years. maybe skarsgård is right and we Should rule the world’ while the other half goes ‘what ? no humans are amazing? our job is to save them ’ and just those super mega powerful wizards fighting each other ? pls we could go in whatever direction you want just pls let me play incredibly powerful wizards

the PTA group ?? i love playing older characters but also like there are so many possibilities and it could be legit funny and full fluff and angst like ? we have those two married characters who are a perfect couple but maybe they are not that perfect ? the single parent who is just really Trying but is always late ? the divorced couple who is only participating bc the other is and they wanna show how much Better of a parent they are ? the teacher who loves to do all of this and is honestly worried about everyone drama ? the teacher who Had to sign up for this bc it was given to them as a punishment after they didn’t something and they are just standing there like ‘why are all of you so extra? just go home. you know this is optional now?’ everyone getting involved in each other’s business ?? ? everyone being lowkey friends ?? ? dR a Ma also all the supportive parents going to the kids games and the kids just being super happy

a greek god mumus ?? maybe we pick two ships and develop them like ( idk hera & zeus and hades & persophone ) or we just pick around the characters we wanna play. and we can have like all of them stuck in the real world, stuck in a human body. zeus wanting to fly to be an eagle to go somewhere but being stuck to earth. being the biggest asshole in the face of this earth but also not being able to let hera go? ? not knowing how to function properly when she is not around. and maybe idk maybe in this life hera doesn’t stick around. maybe in this life the only reason why they are still legally together is because he didn’t sign divorce papers, maybe she is done with him and done with trying when he clearly doesn’t give a fuck. maybe in this life she is a wedding planner and when people ask her to plan their marriages she gives them advice on knowing when to be forgiving and when to stick up for yourself. hades is the leader of a biker gang but he is mostly really quiet and chill and he has three pit bulls who just hang around him and do nothing of true harm ?? and the only person you can actually be terrified of is his wife ? ? bc even tho logic dictates otherwise it seems like she sets fire on the concrete she walks through and makes plants grow when she passes by and it baffles every existing human ?? and hades being ‘listen man i would forgive your betrayal but my wife i mean, she kinda asked me for your head and i can’t say no….’ chris evans a poseydon, poseydon as a surfer dude ?? as a guy who works/owns an aquarium and understands the animal there in a way that doesn’t make sense to anyone else ?? who has the biggest pools for the animals to swim around, even if it makes looking at them harder for whoever is vising, bc all those animals have been raised in captivate and they wouldn’t survive in the ocean but he doesn’t want them to feel stuck ? he wouldn’t know what he would if he couldn’t swim around in the ocean and he just wants them to feel free even if he can’t free them. ?? there are so many ways in which things can go ? i mean honestly i’ll shower in headcanons pls gimme.

this is the last one i promise but a plot with a bunch of criminals maybe ex-navy/army who work together. maybe based on the losers ?? where you got like the leader of the group who makes dubious decisions when there are woman involved and the stoic explosions specialist who knows the leader so well that the moment the leader flinchs he goes like ‘imma take over now. okay? okay.’ maybe you got the gun slinging asshole who makes inappropriate jokes and the person who is just Too Qualified to be around this sea of idiots. maybe they were all framed for the same crime and they have to live in the shadows hiding in a city in the middle of nowhere pretending they are normal civilians. maybe they were all trying to save someone and it backfired and they wanna go back to their lives but how ? ? idk there are so many possibilities just pls.

okay, so here is the thing, i have two characters. they are super wealthy brothers. one is your local asshole i’m too cool for feelings. he is in his 30s and he goes around partying and making bad decisions and he made himself a successful businessman on his own just to spite his family bc they said he couldn’t do it. 99,99% of his decisions are made either based on anger or just so to feel good. the other one is your local golden boy. he is everything his family ever wanted him to be, and he was a child prodigy type who graduated college super young and has never acted like a child. he is his early 20s. 99,99% of his decisions are made based on what he thinks people want him to do and he just wants to please everybody if you would let me play them in literally any plot ( preferably like some tiny mumu, i have two characters, you have two characters type of thing ) i’ll literally give the sun !! or cookies !! or anything really omg !! they also have a younger sister so maybe you could play her? ? or you could play some character who is dating the younger brother is starts to fall in love with the older and drama~~ or it could be some two character that you would like to play? like any two characters you wanna develop and we figure out a plot? pls? thanks

hmmmmmmmm okay I’d say (also pls link me this thing when you’re done because ATHEIST CHARACTER RAISED IN ROME I wanna read it):

depends on when they grew up but if it was pre-nineties they’d probably think about the times when they walked through the center and it was full of cats and taxis were yellow and now it’s all white taxis and no cats (I swear all of us who grew up in the 90s have the OH GOD I MISS THE CATS AND YELLOW TAXIS moment, the cats were more or less driven away at the beginning of the 00s and the yellow taxis as well) I wrote this before you specified so they probably don’t remember the yellow taxis and shit but their parents might

thing is, SCIENCE stuff here isn’t that great but if they grew up before the 90s/in the 70s they might have enjoyed going to the historical planetarium which used to be in the center near the main station but then it was closed and moved to the EUR in I think 2004 and now is in san lorenzo so if they grew up in between 80s/90s they missed that window, if they grew up in the 00s or were teenagers in the 00s they might have gone to the EUR one, this is the website - it’s supposed to be in english but obv it’s NOT but maybe you can figure something out? > post specification: if born in the 90s he DEFINITELY went to the planetarium u__u

if this person’s into animals he definitely would have visited the local zoo/the bioparco in villa borghese which has a lot of animals and is actually pretty ethical as far as I know, I personally never was much into it but it’s a favorite with kids (also back in the day you could pay to ride a pony always in villa borghese, I’ve done it a couple of times and it was fun so if they’re into horses they might have done that but it was like mid-90s I have no idea if they still do it), there’s also the zoology museum inside the bioparco so they might have liked that as well

these days there’s a cat colony in piazza argentina so if he likes to pet cats (which are all neutered/kept clean thanks to volunteers) he can go there once in a while

OR if he’s into physics there’s the physics museum in enrico fermi’s house which opened in 1999 that he might like to go to

that’s for the science stuff you could do other than going to libraries and check books out and stuff, sadly this city never was The Science Place, but about the rest:

if he’s atheist/anticlericalist, there’s two most likely ways it might have happened: his parents are also atheists and never baptized him, or he comes from a catholic family (either REALLY practicing or enough to baptize him/get him to take his sacraments) and changed his mind later. this brings to two fairly different outcomes/possible backstories.

if option one: he’s never taken the religion hour in elementary/middle/high school (you can opt out), he most likely was the only one in the class or maybe two people unless he had jewish/muslim/other-religions people in his class but a lot of people don’t opt out even if they’re not catholic, he thought it was weird af when his friends talked about going to catechism and stuff, he might have tried going to church with relatives once in a while and found it highly boring af, he never got the point of it and then got fed up with the church and stuff when he realized that they don’t pay taxes to the state and the various other church misgivings TM;

if option two: he probably didn’t get the point of sacraments but went through with them (and catechism) to make the family happy and took religion hour while hating it, at some point decided he was atheist during his teenage years or so on, he’d insist to not take religion hour and depends on how practicing the family is, that could have brought him a few issues because people actually do argue horribly about this and there’s the immortal BUT IF YOU DON’T GO TO CHURCH YOU’LL MAKE YOUR GRANDMOTHER SAD;

obviously it varies but those two are the most common atheist experiences around here as far as I know - if your entire family is or if they’re lowkey practicers it’s fairly fine, if they’re practicing it might cause you problems (unless he has enlightened parents who respect his choices ofc), but count that option two tends to make you a lot angrier at the church/at religion in general, like someone who comes from an option two background is a lot more likely to have the dawkins approach than to just appreciate him as a scientist lol

also: when you take religion hour, you’re put with a teacher who’s supposed to do something *alternative* with you. every time it happened with me, they asked me if I didn’t take religion hour because I was Jewish, then when I said no they went through a few other religions before going like ‘... wait, Muslim?’ until I went like ‘no I’m atheist’ and the last reply was always, ‘but then why don’t you try religion out’. always. at some point you just laugh so you don’t cry.

THAT SAID someone who’s into science and who’s an atheist AND MILITANTLY SO would totally read dawkins, hitchens and be into that shit a lot so like, consider that xD like it’s the magical combo ;)

if he’s a Proper Nerd he saves money to buy books at fahrenheit 451 in campo dei fiori;

(guys srsly fahrenheit is a staple of roman independent bookshops I love that place, also they have a signed bradbury copy of that book in the entrance made just for them and they also sell like science books and stuff so someone who maybe is also into scifi would totally love that place)

(if he’s desperate for cheap stuff there’s used books sold for not much in a small market in front of termini station though)

this person most probably wouldn’t like to hang around the vatican - like he’d go there to bring friends and stuff and he’d go to the vatican museums once in a while but unless you’re an art student you tend to avoid that area

also remember that john paul II died when I was in high school and it was what, 2005, and the funeral day all the schools were closed and for the previous two weeks you couldn’t move through the center/the vatican because it’d be full of people going to pay respects to his burial chamber and so on so like if he remembers it he’d probably be very ‘I don’t get what’s the deal about all of this’ about it (and anyway if he was going to school he definitely missed that day since they were closed for the entire city)

this person also would not go to churches in general if not for a) tourism, b) weddings, c) funerals and they most probably would try to avoid baptisms and further sacraments if they could (obv if it’s they’re little brother’s they would go but if it’s a cousin or smth they’d just tell their mother to say hi from them)

they might want to be an uaar volunteer;

also if they’re as lucky as I was, nine times on ten they say they’re atheist to someone they don’t know they get the usual horrid questions ie ‘how do you get up in the morning, how do you live without God, so do you think it’s fine to kill people since you don’t believe in heaven, so are you a satanist’ and so on. they might lie and say they don’t practice if they don’t want to have an argument. or they might tell those people to fuck off if they’re done. or they might try to argue. anyway you usually try to not touch the subject if you’re not sure of how people might take it especially if you don’t know them and especially if you’re older than you;

if their parents are atheists they most likely give the eight thousandth of their taxes to the waldensian church (they only use it for secular purposes) and he would too if he lived in italy and paid taxes there; he wouldn’t give it to the state because that money ends with the catholic church anyway;

if the parents are not atheists they might have gone to a nuns’ run kindergarten. spoilers: everyone I know in italy (catholic or not) except maybe two people has horror stories about kindergarten with the nuns so it could totally be a the reason why someone starts having issues with religion;

(if they’re atheists obviously they sent them to a normal kindergarten)

at some point he has read the bible so that he could tell people that no, reading it didn’t make him want to convert;

coffee stuff:

most people around here like espresso as all italians do, and you start drinking it at SOME POINT in high school (I started at fifteen/sixteen but I know people who started later and who never got any until uni for one, but they’re a rarity);

if he’s like me, he started drinking espresso made at home and then couldn’t stay awake through high school for six hours in a row so had always one or two at the school’s coffee machine (at some point when I was seventeen/eighteen I drank like six espressos per day DON’T DO IT IF YOU HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE)

anyway most of us addicts make it at home with a regular moka

but if he has money to splurge once in a while or if he wants to treat himself/others he might go have coffee at sant’eustachio, it’s a historical bar in the center that has the Best Coffee Ever and IT COSTS A LOT BUT IT’S WORTH IT

random:

if he doesn’t have much money he most likely goes around with public transport. the public transport is shit. always has. always has been. the 00s weren’t a good time. if he lives on the A metro line he hates that it’s full all the time, if he lives on the B line he hates that and that it has old-ass trains from the 80s still, if he lives outside any metro area it takes him at least forty minutes to go anywhere with the bus so he hates that, the bus company and both metros for not reaching his place, if he lives in the center sometimes he thanks his lucky stars

he might have lived to see the ending of the emos vs truzzi debate of the 00s. to give you a context: you remember emo music? people who were into emo in the 00s used to hang around piazza del popolo all the time so like the place was full of people dressed in black and singing evanescence and shit, and those people were picked on by truzzi who were basically... like, outskirts kids without manners who listened to hardcore rap music and shit, idk, in english it’d be something like hicks, you know those people who dress brightly and have no manners and speak terribly and think they’re the center of the world? more or less. anyway these people hated each other and there was an entire culture of making fun of how they hated each other and like it sounds dumb but is2 it was a fundamental part of our high school experience so idk if this guy went to middle school in the 00s he’d... probably know. and think it was ridiculous. I’m sorry this probably makes no sense but like let’s just say it was srs young subculture to make fun of this rivalry shit I DON’T EVEN KNOW and you probably don’t need it but here now you know it’s ano option

he was probably very politicized in high school. most likely went to marches especially if he had pOLITICAL ideas about the vatican. in the way 15yo people are anyway, but like italian high schools are all politics arguing where everyone thinks they’re communist or fascist no in between and especially here it happened

he most likely did like a thing we all did in hs where for a week every year students would organize lessons instead of teachers and talked about stuff they felt strongly about/know more about and he might have been a students’ representative

if he’s gay/bi, he’d probably go near the coliseum to find a date because there’s the so-called *gay street* nearby and most bars have rainbow flags outside and back then if you weren’t straight and wanted a date you’d go there

if he wanted to buy cheap stuff but decent quality he’d go around campo dei fiori for anything other than books

especially if he wanted good cheap-ish alcohol and absinthe (which btw is banned here but you could get for cheap in most bars in campo dei fiori bless them)

if he does cosplay and stuff he’d go to romics which is our... cheapass horribly organized comicon

he’d remember fondly the nokia 3310 that never got destroyed and you could only use to call, text and play snake

What I want to see in the next Animal Crossing!

Okay, so ever since the talk of the switch I have been ever so hopeful of an Animal Crossing title for it, and not just a crappy spinoff, either. Especially after the release of the switch I feel like this is something very likely to happen, given the villager icons you can choose from on the switch profiles and other hints. Anyways, here are what I feel like would be some entertaining additions to the next Animal Crossing title. This is a looooong list so pls bear with me.

Way way WAYYYYYY more slots to hold patterns like in HHD, like I am so amazed HHD was the first AC title to have this.

The ability to place PWPs wherever they will fit, also like the placement used in HHD.

Get a notification from Isabelle when you start the game that informs you of a new villager wanting to move in, you can then choose the location of their house so it doesn’t interfere with paths or anything.

I think it would be really cool to be able to edit the layout of our town as an alternate option to filtering through random ones. Similar to the acnl editor, but in the initial startup of the game. Choosing where streams, ponds, beaches, buildings, etc. are instead of having to settle on one.

Be able to choose your native fruit.

Similar to HHD, you can unlock special items from encountering certain villagers and they can be placed in your catalogue. Like how some have the sloppy series, etc.

A bigger campsite, like the RV one that was introduced in Welcome Amiibo, but has tents as well as more RVs that are not just specials. Like, have 2 RVs there that rotate everyday, one being a special character and the other just a normal villager, and of course spaces available for use with amiibo cards.

MORE THAN 1 PWP A DAY. I get SO MAD having to time travel just because I want more than one streetlight in my town.

Also, NO MORE RANDOM PWPS!!!!!! I played for YEARS with only a couple of suggestions from my villagers, I never was even suggested the police station!!!!!!! If we have to unlock them based on time played or town status or pay bells to unlock them, sure, that’s cool, BUT NO MORE RELYING ON SUGGESTIONS!!!!

Shops have way more items available to purchase, and on top of a bigger in-store selection, I think it would be cool to have kind of like a revolving catalogue where you can order things (like maybe have whole series in there or something) that also changes everyday along with the store’s inventory.

LARGER MAIN STREET!!!! I thought the town in HHD was a really good size for a main street for the next AC title. Also, the ability to choose the exteriors of the buildings on main street like in HHD.

More specialization of the shops on main street. Like, instead of just having the typical ones we have had for AGES maybe introduce some new ones, like a pet store (more on this later) or a restaurant like what there is to choose from in HHD

Possibly link your HHD catalogue with the new AC title? That way you have items unlocked and it gives you a little head start on items you can choose from.

BE ABLE TO DESIGN PANTS!!!!! Maybe there is a reason this isn’t a thing yet that I am completely ignorant about, but I WANT TO DESIGN SOME DAMN PANTS!!!! There are hardly any to choose from in the game so I am blown away that this hasn’t become a feature yet in all of the AC titles. Also, being able to design shoes and socks would be cool, too. But if anything, pls just let us design some pants.

Ability to have pets!!! So we can have some uninvited cockroaches roaming around but lord forbid I have a cute lil kitten or puppy??? You have no idea how much I loved the little hamster cage, but it can only do so much. I think it would be neat to get rid of the cockroaches and be able to purchase animals from a pet store on main street that can roam around in one (or all) room(s) and if you leave the game unattended for a length of time, you would come back to PEE in your FLOOR and you would have to clean it instead of stomping on cockroaches.

Either pick from different sets or create your own set of beginning villagers with amiibo cards for when you start up a new town. More often than not, my villagers starting out are all uggos.

Be able to automatically access your bank account without having to go to an ABD. Like maybe we have a device similar to our TPC that acts kinda like a smartphone or something and we have an “app” for our bank that we can use.

This device could also let us talk to villagers like the HHD phone or order items or talk to other players online if we have their FCs.

Be able to choose the town hall and train station exteriors during the startup of the game instead of having to wait and get a perfect town rating in order to do so.

MORE CUTE FURNITURE SETS!!! Idk about you but I loved the sloppy series and alpine series and I wish there were more cute pale series to choose from, like maybe have a whole pastel series that goes with the pastel table introduced in HHD.

More expensive home expansions, but they also expand faster. This doesn’t have to be the replacement for the current situation, but just to have as an option I think would be cool.

Be able to design furniture with Cyrus not just remodel it. Like we could start with a base item, but redesign it using something similar to what we use to design clothes and patterns. AND we could create QR codes for these like we would be able to for outfits and stuff.

A “global store” where people could post items they don’t want anymore kind of like an online flea market that we could access by either going to Re-Tail or on the TPC device. People could also sell their designed items on here if they didn’t want to do QR codes.

Train Station allows you to travel to ANY town with gates open and accepting random visitors. Kind of like how club tortimer pairs you up with random people on the island, you could go to a random town. No FCs necessary and it would be a fun way to make more friends to play with in the future!

Also, with having people visit your town, you should be able to select the level of access they have to it. You should have a little menu while there are people visiting that shows who all is in the town and also what level of access they have. This can be adjusted at any time and there would be about 3 levels:

Restricted: Can only WALK around and talk to villagers and observe the items in your town. (how each visitor would start out)

Intermediate: Can buy, pick up, do anything in your town, but a notification will pop up on your screen anytime they want to do something and you will have to approve their action.

Unrestricted: Can do anything (like how it is now) without needing approval.

When having visitors in your town, you can also see them on your town map in real time like you see yourself. Instead of little people icons, though, they should be like numbers based on who got there first, #1, and so on. I feel like they would make it easier to tell who is who. But who even knows if we will have a map like the one we’re used to with the switch. I feel like the Wii-U might have been better in the whole dual screen aspect of the game.

We can also choose to see villagers on the map in real time.

Have other parts of town that we can access. Like maybe there is a little hill that leads up to the neighborhood where all the “special” characters live and stuff like that.

Ability to work at more shops than just the cafe. Have the jobs be more like mini games though.

Ability to demolish or move home without destroying your town.

When selecting “give me something” from an amiibo villager, their catalogue should pop up so you can choose what item you want.

MORE SANRIO ITEMS!!!!!!! The sanrio sets are so dang cute I love them!!!! Either collab with sanrio some more or make some more items that going along with the cutesy themes they have! Or maybe some san-x related items, like bring in rilakkuma etc.

A music shop!!! I think KK should have his own little record store where he performs during the day and it closes at night when he goes to the club B)

GIVE CELESTE BACK HER OBSERVATORY!!!! I cannot STRESS this ENOUGH!!!!! Not only was it such a cool idea, I MISS MAKING INAPPROPRIATELY SHAPED CONSTELLATIONS!!!!

Able Sisters have a section in their shop for QR codes from all over the world via internet. If not connected, then it could just be empty or maybe you could only access it by talking to mabel or sabel or smth.

A Hotel!! This could be where people who are visiting your dream address start out, they could go to sleep there too and start a new day or something.

Possibly upload your HHD buildings to your town to replace the ones on main street.

This whole “smartphone”/TPC replacement thing:

Cell phone: call and talk to your own villagers and amiibo villagers

Email?: maybe. Could replace mailbox for letters only, not deliveries.

Bank Account: can access everything you’d be able to at an ABD

Music: could change background music to a KK song if one so chose

Can contract out Leif for a sum of bells to landscape your town. Select from some different colors, themes, flowers, if you are not very talented in the ways of landscaping.

Can get paths from Nook’s homes! It would be cool if Nintendo made some paths that actually matched up with the grass and stuff that you could purchase from Nook.

Where multiple face items like glasses, bandages, binkie so long as they don’t interfere with each others’ placements.

Be able to wear accessories over “makeup” I think our miis would look really cute with some of the accessories in the game!

Be able to hold more than one mii mask at a time.

Be able to start the game by choosing the villager’s appearance like in HHD, no more random appearances based on weird questions

Instead of just a couple exterior house choices, there should be more in a catalogue at Nook’s, but some are only available after you have upgraded your house x amount of times.

Furniture collections with more items. Rooms that are upgraded are really big and it kinda sucks when some series only have like 10 items in them.

Be able to see what an item is while it’s in our pockets!!!! I hate having to go home and display it in my home to see what it is and whether or not I want to keep it.

ALPACA VILLAGERS!!!!!!! So many of the special characters are so cute I wish we could have regular villagers that are that cute who are able to move into our town. Also walruses like wendell would be really cute.

Ability to access the time from within the game, maybe with like a special clock or something similar to the way we can have a fortunes told to us through the lovely phone, but only that phone.

Access to our storage room and regular inventory when we are in the “room editing” mode. It would save so much time if we didn't have to exit out of it every time we needed a new item.

More villagers in the town!!! Like maybe 14 or 15

Kick out unwanted villagers at the town hall and accept requests of certain ones wanting to move in. Like see which villager it is and either accept them and pick a spot for their house or deny them.

Able to change camera angle for more diverse screenshots like HHD

PLEASE BE HD LIKE THE COURSES IN MARIO KART PLEEEEEASSSSEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A town hall with a room that is able to be reserved for events that you can set up, like harvest festival dinners, toy day party, bday parties, etc. And with these events all the villagers have to show up. You can also decorate the room with items from your catalogue or choose from different pre-made themes.
