i saw “1800s ballet au” in the tags of some of your duchess art, would you mind talking more about it? i’m so interested now actually

basically, it’s a fic mostly about duchess experiencing relationship and familial dramas. she is enrolled at a prestigious ballet academy and struggles with some mental health issues. there’s a weird sort of lopsided love triangle with sparrow and justine also. sparrow (as well as some other merry men) plays in the pit orchestra for all of the performances and he also plays instruments for the ballet practices. Justine is a transfer from an academy a ways away, she and duchess do NOT get along well in the beginning, but eventually their relationship becomes more supportive and accepting. Melody is in it also, she is an amazingly skilled young composer and conductor, she doesn’t have very good working habits though, and because of that she has some health problems.

there are some other characters too but they are the mains for this fic!
