Nah, I’m just kidding. You folks can’t get rid of me that easily 😂

I’m not selling off all my BTS merch; just a good chunk of it. (And I am/will be selling even some of my SHINee merch and other stuff, and a lot of non-kpop stuff too like old books I don’t need, etc).

I did spring cleaning a few weeks back and ran into the reality that I just have too much. While I love collecting, I also love displaying, and a lot of my merch was hidden by other stuff, or just shoved into a cabinet because I had no room. Add that to the fact that I’ve started collecting for SHINee and Astro, plus displaying my own art and stuff that I’ve bought/want to buy for The Witcher, Amazing Devil, and Steampowered Giraffe, (plus there’s a chance I may start gathering up some merch for Star Trek - undecided but it’s a big possibility - I’ve been... eyeing.) I really needed to start slimming down to make more room for everything I enjoy without making my room feel crowded.

I also have gotten into a less “gotta have it all” mindset and become a little more picky when it comes to what I am happy with/want.

Going forward I’m likely going to just buy 1 of the albums (though I may buy multiple versions at times if I can’t pick based on the preview photos, like I did with Astro’s most recent release, and then sell the ones I don’t love) - and going to be more picky with what merch I buy. I don’t need every single thing my groups release, or every member’s version - realistically much of it I never use, so - saves time and money to only buy what I really love.
