Storage is catching some z’s since running a Morty Day Care all by himself is tiring af. His back will hurt so bad when he wake up...
I gotta say - idk what the hell is happeing with the bg and the perspective in this picture, because somewhere along the way I lost the track of it, haha. Not to mention that I redrew the right corner, like, a 100 times because I didn;t know what to put in it to balance the picture out.
Please, make a reblog or Follow me on Twitter if you like my work - it really helps me!

is anyone else getting annoyed by the amount of people crediting the writing of the new season of Rick and Morty being better to the fact that Justin Roiland left? It's been said time and time again that he hasn't been involved with writing since season two and season seven was written last year (well before he got fired). It just feels rude to the team of writers to take away that credit, if the show got better it's solely because of the writers writing good material, it has nothing to do with roiland.
I keep seeing stuff along the lines of "wow the show is funny again now that roiland left" and it just feels like they're simply trying to get clicks and likes. Anyone who actually keeps up with how the show is made would know he had no input past the voices.
anyway shoutout Cody Ziglar for his first episode writing credit on "Rickfending Your Mort" !! I loved it !! Basically tldr: more credit should be given to the writers instead of saying roiland had anything to do with it. He's irrelevant past the voices.

I’ve seen a lot of ppl talking abt the freaky Morty theory, and I’ve noticed some ppl saying that it might just be a thing that both mortys consented to… and I just gotta say, if Rick finds out abt that… he’s gonna completely lose his shit and spiral into the worst place possible… and I kinda wanna see it happen
Okay but like, I can just imagine Morty stealing Rick’s portal gun and showing up at EMorty’s mansion and being like “yo, wanna do something really fucked up so I can get a vacation?” And then he just goes with it, he just causes silent chaos that is yet to be discovered by the rest of the family (which is kinda depressing but we won’t get into that yet)!
I wanna see that happen tho. I want someone to find out, the entire family to panic, screaming at EMorty to give them back Morty, and then he’d just calmly call Morty and tell him that the jig is up. And then Morty would just walk through a portal and be like “hey, what’s up, I had a rlly great vacation :)” and then he high fives EMorty and then EMorty just flips off the family and leaves… can this please happen? Cuz it would be way too funny and still mentally scar a lot of ppl!
cuz like, Rick is gonna be going through it when he finds out, he’s gonna wonder if Morty hates him or something and he’s gonna be terrified that Morty would run away again…
I don’t even know what point I was trying to make here, I just want Morty and EMorty to create some chaos very calmly and then pretend everything is normal afterwards

I know this has been talked about so many times before, but I’d like to also join in the conversation. This is also just an opinion.
I’m as excited as everyone else for Rick’s turn-around, but it seems really forced and unstable, like some minor inconvenience could send Rick spiraling again. And I feel like, yeah Rick’s becoming a better person, but it’s happening too fast. The things Rick has done in the past can’t be forgiven and forgotten just because he’s trying to change his personality.
BUT that being said, the Smith family also has their own problems they need to fix. Morty can be just as manipulative as Rick, and let’s face it, he’s violent tendencies get the better of him a lot. As someone with a Morty bias I see him in a morally gray area. This can also rely on the fact from the abuse by Rick, and let’s face it, Beth and Jerry are not good parents. Neglect has led Summer to be highly apathetic, borderline sociopath. Also, Summer and Morty are still children, whether mentally or physically, so they are going to be exposed to their elders who should be leaving a good, lasting impression on them.
Back to Rick. His actions aren’t excusable. Yes, wanting vengeance for his dead wife and daughter is perfectly reasonable, but he’s taken it too for. Their deaths may have been a factor to who he is, but ultimately he only has himself to blame. Rick could’ve stopped himself from turning into an abusive person, but he didn’t. And that’s what rubs me the wrong way about his redemption arc. There’s still things that he needs to address, because yes, he deserves happiness, but so do all the people he has hurt.
