Anyone else get that hyper anxiety that you fell off with another mun due to miscommunication and bad timing and you can’t confirm if yes or no so you just boil in it and don’t want to confront them cause you’d feel like you’d make them bad off an assumption due to anxiety and stress so it just ruminates in you and once a week when they show up on your dash/IM’s the anxiety comes back and your just -steam out the ears- about it???

if we accept freedom’s deal, will there be an option further down to change our goal? like i completely understand that if you’ve been on path “destroy the kingdom” for the majority of the game and made decisions in line with that we obviously can’t change that. i mean earlier, like a commander who initially is Big Mad and then when they’ve a little time to think about it what it’d mean as well as learn more about.. everything, being like hm, no, maybe burning an entire kingdom might be bad. maybe i’ll settle for ending the cycle instead. does that make sense? basically, are we completely locked to the goal we choose in chapter four or will there be options to change path (before reaching a point of no return)? sorry if this has been asked tumblr does not like me trying to search for it :(

Loose thought: we all like to joke about how obvious the mages' staffs are in Dragon Age and the Iron Bull's mercenaries stubbornly stating that Dalish's weapon is a bow are funny, but!

With the way many staffs in DA2 end in a blade, why not just shape it like some type of a polearm? Spears, halberds, poleaxes, glaives, guisarmes and so on should be fairly common weapons in Thedas - probably way more common than swords, because they are cheaper and easier to make, and are one of the most efficient ways of defense against a more skilled, and possibly mounted opponent. It would be especially believable for mages who are mercenaries, because while it would be fairly weird for townspeople or nobles casually carrying a huge polearm as a mean of self-defense while walking around the town, it would be perfectly reasonable for a member of a mercenary group to carry one.

Any staff with a polearm-like tip would work, and possibly not arise suspicion until it starts shooting fire. Also, it could provide a good measure of self-defence should it come to melee.

It was windy out on the factory property.

A storm was on its way, rumbling in the distance but the rain had yet to hit. The blowing of the wind, however, seemed to put Freddy on edge. The bear had the front doors of the old building wide open as he looked out across the land watching how the incoming weather affected everything from the tall yellow grass to the nearby trees.

That was when he spotted something that drew his attention in fully: a little girl, right near a charred trunk of a rather large oak. It had been blasted to flames by a lightning storm a few nights ago, yet its shell remained. But the dead roots were being yanked up from the ground rather easily by the harsh wind, overpowering the whole thing as it began to lean, crack and tip over right where the child was standing.

"Look out!" Freddy had sprung from the cover of the textile mill, running-moving quite fast for an animatronic from the eighties...possibly earlier. The bear scooped up Gretel in his two paws, pulling her out of the way and into a protective hug as the trunk hit the ground a moment later with a loud crash.

Freddy slowly lost the tension in his body after a few seconds, looking back at the devastated tree that lay like a corpse, only a mere few inches from the bear's feet.

"...That was too close."

The animatronic still kept Gretel in his grasp firmly, as he immediately began to move back to the open threshold of the factory. And once inside, he knelt down on one knee, gently setting the girl down on the floor before him.

Safe.

"Are you hurt?"
