Guys, there is a severe lack of Sodascent content on this site and it irks me greatly. These are super self-indulgent lol.
Tumblr media
Meet Dusty and Lucile Hansen-Euler. Lucy is a molotov cocktail and Dusty is a sand candle (like that one product that was shoved in my face for two weeks straight on Insta) They are 10 and 15 respectively, and they are a girl and demiboy.
Lucy is an excitable tomboy with a ton of explosive energy and a proactive mindset. She's always in everyone's business (if they let her) and is constantly egging on dangerous stuff. Half of the time she is the one doing said dangerous stunts. Her self-preservation is pretty low, but once she begins forming alcohol in her body instead of juice, she becomes more cautious. She still has a very unhealthy and worrying interest in fire.
Dusty, on the other hand, is a grumpy dude who's full of cringy preteen angst and a rebellious mindset. He's the guy to post stuff like "It's not a phase, Mom" and "The shadows are the only things that truly understand me" and other edgy quotes like that. He's also that kid that hates that his parents love him cuz he's a "how can I relate to these edgy characters when my family is so nice????" person. Also, his wick is burnt since I think that all candles have the ability to light up when feeling strong emotions (for him, usually anger).
Bryce is doing his darndest to be present in his kids' lives (parent issues) but tends to over-worry about them and comes off as strict as a result. Amelia is more laid back and calm of the two and is more inclined to trust her kids' decisions (good childhood), but she is the scarier of the two when she's mad.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(The dust bag above is my brother's character)^^
Tumblr media
Take a wiiiiiiiild guess who's kids are the first two 💀
Tumblr media
They'll get their own post eventually, I just have to finish their refs.
The ref sheet w/out shading and the sketch are below:

"Midoriya can't have AFO, he's Quirkless!"
DUDE. ALL FOR ONE STARTS WITHOUT QUIRKS. IT'S A BLANK SLATE.
IF MIDORIYA DIDN'T KNOW "HISASHI'S" REAL QUIRK, HE'D NEVER REALIZE HE MIGHT NOT BE QUIRKLESS
AFO could only use an Ability at birth because he stole his mother's immediately. But at the start, All For One is just giving and stealing Quirks; there's nothing to start with (Quirks) that's usable before something is taken.
Garaki also mentioned the double-jointed pinky toe is used as a general measure. But remember again, this is Garaki, who's been working with AFO for decades. He knows things everyone else doesn't. He could totally diagnose Izuku as Quirkless if AFO told him to.
And when Midoriya tried using his parents' Quirks, he only ever tried pulling objects toward him. He never tried pulling people.
Two,
"Hisashi has a fire breathing Quirk"
AFO proves he carries around dud Quirks. Why is he carrying around a belly button laser from the advent of Quirks, up to the present time?
Three,
"Midoriya doesn't have holes in his palms"
Cough. Latest chapters hinting (written as of 421). Cough.
But also, Inko's Quirk lets her pull things towards her. Considering evolution, and the fact everyone but Endeavor gets the perfect fusion for Quirked children, Izuku could have "pull" combined with "All For One".
What if he doesn't need holes in his palms because he can steal Quirks from a distance? An upgraded version of AFO.
Also, Midoriya feels comforted having his hands held, but just a reminder that Inko's Quirk pulls things toward her using her hands, so his comfort could be influenced by that....

saw some western aus and wanted to throw my proverbial hat in the ring. well. toss it gently. place it down on the edge-
actually no fuck that, slamming down the hat i have Thoughts:
first off, if anything this au should be the silliest looney toons bullshit.
~ of all the revolvers are unloaded. so gunfights are just people saying "bang" at each other and then throwing the nearest thing at their opponent in place of a bullet
~ Wally is the town sheriff, and he's hilariously incompetent. he also has a habit of shoplifting apples from Howdy's saloon / general store fusion. his cowboy hat has a card with an apple on it tucked in the band, but he doesn't wear it, so at nearly all times one of his hands is occupied with holding the hat. also he doesn't wear his badge ever
~ Barnaby is the town deputy, and he's marginally more competent than Wally. however, he doesn't take his job seriously and is usually napping in his chair on the sheriff office porch. sometimes he wears Wally's badge along with his own for funsies
~ also when Howdy catches Wally stealing, he'll call Barnaby over. Barnaby will proceed to arrest and lock up Wally in his own jail until Barnaby feels too bad for leaving him in there and lets him out
~ there is only one horse in town, and its Eddie's so that he can do his delivery runs and get mail from the town over - he has a lil wagon too. Sally has a running gag where she tries to steal the horse, but it completely ignores her and won't budge an inch.
~ on that note, Wally has one of those stick horses. when he needs to chase someone down, he hops on it and Barnaby lifts him by the scruff and runs, gently shaking him up and down to simulate natural horse riding movements. somehow it always works. no one can escape this tactical move
~ the only role i can see for Sally is overly-theatrical outlaw, just as incompetent as Wally. she never succeeds in stealing anything but also never gets caught because, again, Wally is terrible at his job. everyone usually comes outside to watch their wacky "fights" and do nothing about it, including Barnaby. also Julie helps her sometimes
~ Julie i think would be the town banker. she's unusually strict about it and can get kind of scary about technicalities. however the town doesn't really use currency, so they have a point system that they keep careful track of. it would be stickers, but those dont exist. actually fuck that these are puppets, stickers exist and the board is like the gold stars in that one spongebob episode
~ Frank is an entomologist that decided to brave the untamed west to see what new bugs he might discover. what he discovered was dust, scorpions, and an inability to leave the town due to no monies anywhere. he finds entertainment in keeping track of the local ant colonies' wars & affairs, and also complaining at Howdy at the bar
~ everyone complains to Howdy. he has someone at his bar at any given time and he's taken to being incredibly passive aggressive about it. they still have to pay with jokes or favors or whatever they can think of that he'll accept
~ Poppy runs the hotel, where pretty much everyone lives. Julie lives there, Frank lives there, Sally lives there, Wally lives there. Barnaby prefers to sleep in the sheriffs office, as he doesn't want to make the "across the street" commute. Howdy also stays in his saloon/store, and Eddie sleeps in his post office - as canon intended.
~ Home is the mayor. don't ask me if he's a person, an object head, or just a building - i do not know. he's probably still a building. no one can understand what he says
~ oh also Frank is incredibly pressed over the fact that the town's lawfolk suck at their job. he swears he has an aneurysm every time Wally chases Sally down the street on a stick horse, or when blatant crime is happening right in front of a very asleep Barnaby. he is tempted to take over as sheriff, but alas, there are scorpions to be stung by
~ and finally: apple chaps. thats all thanks good day

Long post incoming 'cause I really enjoyed making this but timeline project!! Parameters were to show a timeline using pop culture references so I did the life of a neutron star with Madoka Magica (specifically Homura's arc during the main series)!!
For some meta/symbolic/design purposes I inlaid it in a clock :]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a 16-inch clock btw, the design itself is like 14 inches-- Stages Nebula: Inception of a star; the gravitational collapse of dust clouds forms its base. Akemi-san's been in the hospital for some time due to a heart condition. She hasn't been to school in quite a while, so I'm sure she'll run into a lot of difficulties. Make sure you all help her out, okay?
Protostar: The protostar spinds rapidly, causing further collapse of the nebula. The star keeps spinning, trying to reach equilibrium between its internal forces and gravity. I-I'm A-Akemi H-Homura... I, uh... I-It's nice to meet all of you. T-Tauri: Energy comes from gravitational forces since the temperature is too low for nuclear fusion. The star enters the main part of its life when it can finally start nuclear fusion and achieves equilibrium. Hey, don't be so nervous. We're classmates, after all. Main Sequence: 90% of the star's life; fusion continuously occurs until hydrogen is depleted, initiating the death of the star. Homura-chan, I'm really glad we became friends. Red Supergiant: The star swells up to a massive size; nuclear fusion can still occur until the star forms an iron core. We can do this together. We'll beat the Walpurgisnacht, just the two of us.
Supernova: As soon as an iron core forms, the star instantly collapses in on itself from the sheer force of gravity. THIS time, instead of her protecting me, I want to become strong enough to protect her!
Research/more design notes below the cut
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There were so many directions to take (as you can see, like lifespan of a star would also be very viable for Rinne) but pmmm is so near and dear to my heart that it would've felt criminal not to do it and especially for like. A golden idea, like I think I hit conceptual gold--
It was so hard picking a singular route 'cause there's so many ways a star's life plays out and so many fitting storylines (Godoka for a neutron star, Akumura for black hole, magical girls in general etc) but I also had to take the physical presentation into account 'cause we were allowed to do that however, and Homura's main story arc fit really well because of the time loop and how clocks are. Yeah (and also the symbolic meaning of it being a clock)
There's more symbolism in the specific route I chose being a neutron star because those are the densest object ever, like how Homura repeating that month over and over again kept converging fate onto Madoka worse and worse--
i literally had a presentation with this and I couldn't think of what to say and if i recall anything i'll add it in the replies but MAN this project was so so fun (not the illustration part. i hit major artblock when trying to figure out how to draw it.)

as someone with a passing knowledge of knot theory & a dilettante interest in math I'm really interested in the behavior/rules of those graphs, could you talk a little more about them?
this is my first ask! and it's on my research!!! i still do research in this area. i am getting my phd in topological quantum computation. i saw someone else talk about categorical quantum in response to the post. as i understand, this is a related but distinct field from quantum algebra, despite both using monoidal categories as a central focus.
if you're familiar with knot theory, you may have heard of the jones polynomial. jones is famous for many things, but one of which is his major contributions to the use of skein theory (this graphical calculus) in quantum algebra, subfactor theory, and more.
For an reu, i made an animation of how these diagrams, mostly for monoidal categories, work:
https://people.math.osu.edu/penneys.2/Synoptic.mp4
to add onto the video, in quantum algebra, we deal a lot with tensor categories, where the morphisms between any two objects form a vector space. in particular, since these diagrams are representing morphisms, it makes sense to take linear combinations, which is what we saw in the post. moreover, any relationships you have between morphisms in a tensor category, can be captured in these diagrams...for example, in the fusion category Fib, the following rules apply (in fact, these rules uniquely describe Fib):
Tumblr media
thus, any time, these show up in your diagrams, you can replace them with something else. in general, this is a lot easier to read than commutative diagrams.

Sometimes I feel miraculous has a serious problem, I usually compared it more with its father (Spider-Man) but I feel I should have compared it more with its mother (Sailor moon)
(Btw I’m talking about the inspirations that formed the show, not has some YouTube kid’s kind of thing, just making sure)
Miraculous takes a lot from sailor moon, magical girl, transformations and magic movements that happen every episode to save money, monster of the week, boyfriend character dress in black, etc etc etc
But the ONE THING it should have m taken from sailor moon is to learn to move on, mainly move on from its main villains, sailor moon constantly changes the main threats because that’s how story’s work, repeating itself over and over just makes it worse every time it repeats itself
Gabriel should have been defeated MAXIMUM at season 3 and that’s being generous, I can accept the idea of Nooroo not being saved in this arc (because the show has made sure how Nooroo won’t be saved even after Gabriel is defeated) but eventually they have to change things
Maybe change the Akumas for something else like Robots, or magical creatures (not like sentimonsters, but more like wild monsters the villain uses has attack dogs to hunt the heroes) or even aliens (which the show has mentioned to exist, also in the first Bunnix time travel episode)
Just let the heroes actually make some progress, because at this point it makes it feel like Gabriel and the duo are all incompetent morons who haven’t actually made any progress in their war (Marinette makes charms, Gabriel makes mega Akumas, Gabriel gets the miraculous and makes alliance, nothing happens after, just Gabriel trying again over and over) until a “accident” he ends up putting himself a time limit making him just try akumatizing everybody which is just like heroes day but they are now all the same super powerful akuma instead of each having their own powers
Mir feels repetitive and BORING, it doesn’t matter if it is two Akumas fighting each other or Mr pigeon now being able to turn people into pigeons or the akumatized object being two separate items which need to be put together before being broken or two persons fusion into one or whatever. Is just the same thing we’ve seen before but with a small gimmick, is just the same we’ve seen before and it feels it’s just making things up to pretend it’s not stretching it
Seriously, let’s just hope miraculous doesn’t stretch their next arc like they did with Gabriel’s (and at least let this one have a satisfying ending)
A problem with Miraculous Ladybug's villains is that a good chunk of them tend to either overstay their welcome (Gabriel, Chloe, Lila), or are criminally utilized by the narrative (Nathalie, Felix, Tomoe), and unlike Sailor Moon, the show just can't move onto a new set of villains even when it seems like they're not sure what to do with a good chunk of these characters.

Sorry, our hands are tied about this!
Prompt "Nocturne fucked up BIG TIME and now needs help from the ghost kid." from kadziduo on ao3/ @duchi-nesten on tumblr! Get phic phought :) Edit: Functioning Ao3 link now that I have a working brain tonight
~
“Fix it. Before I do” Was all Clockwork said before vanishing.
Fix what? Nocturne didn’t know, but nonetheless knew that Clockwork was presently threatening its non-life into vanishment.
Many types of accidents could be arranged.
Fix it before Clockwork does, and left to do its own research to boot. How droll.
Creeping, trawling through random dreams for a hint. Its purpose, if not its goal in its non-life. Delightful nonsense and soft desires clashing against horrid possibilities and terrible unrealities.
Fix it, before Clockwork does. How unhelpful.
Fix it, fix it, fix it… What a dreadful chant to have been produced by the English language.
Finally, Nocturne conceded that it would have to either be very lucky, or open its eyes to the waking realm to find anything out.
If pressed for honesty, it would not call this a dreadful task. The waking realm is, afterall, the source of the realm of sleep. It pays to understand what one is reflecting.
But ah, so many dull details to mull over...
Fix it. Fix what? It wasn’t obvious until it was all that could be seen.
Magical items with magical properties are objects largely outside of Nocturne's purview.
Unless it has to do with sleep.
And unless it’s the one that made the cursed things, which were now its problem to solve.
In more ways than one, even.
Clockwork has simply sped the timeline up on this being its problem.
The objects were older than English, but could be generously translated to ‘Ribbons of Night’. Each of the six operated slightly differently from the other five when active.
Which makes it sound as if one ribbon could be depended on to be the same ribbon when activated.
Absolutely not. Even with a ribbon permanently attached to oneself between activations, there was no predicting which one you had at any given moment. They were the unholy fusion of dream logic and schrodingers box principals.
It was more complicated than that, granted. There were in fact signs that could point you towards which you had at any given moment, and thus could be leveraged to accomplish whatever ones goal was reliably if you were willing to wait.
No matter what, they were usually weak enough to not be a bother to much more than the fool who thought they could control the mind, and whatever half dozen idiots they saw fit to terrorize.
Usually.
It greatly depended on the energy willfully put into them, see...
More energy, more chaos and for even longer. What’s not to love?
Adorable little things, so long as a weird cult of both ghosts and humans don’t get all six and strategically place them around both realms and dump a small nations worth of power into each of them.
You know, because who would ever do that? Truly, such a thing would take a ridiculous series of logical leaps (to think it was a good idea) and logistical nightmares (to make real) that it would be immediately branded a fever dream and disregarded.
Nocturne would typically be inclined to not be involved with the whole debacle, its not as if it could reabsorbed the partitioned fragments itself, but there’s a small problem with the ribbons and how they operate.
The issue is slightly two-fold, and also just the same problem twice over. What can Nocturne say, its things like to be complicated like that.
The ribbons are small fragments of Nocturne, modified for usage by the average ghost. Living need not apply, but if they can work around it then power too them. Nocturne's power is a scary thing to have loose in any realm, particularly at small-nation’s-electrical-grid scale.
And also, the dreams are fragments of Nocturne, that turning off requires either patience for their power to run dry or for a test of power and will to succeed.
Backlash from such a test is usually not of Nocturne's concern- if a fool decided to power a ribbon beyond their control and had to pay to turn it off, Nocturne's side would sting for ten seconds and then stop. Whether the fool was dead or not didn’t matter to Nocturne.
But if the ribbons were powered to the point they’d take years to stop, and also all six of them were going strong at once, meaning that everyone would be forced to contest them, win or lose, in the name of everyone’s continued existence…
Nocturne has finite durability, and that’s a lot of damage.
Even if the inflictors will die with Nocturne, it will be done because nothing has a choice right now..
The whole mess did clarify to Nocturne why Clockwork would care to harass it, though. It gave two reasons, even.
World balance… not Nocturne's domain, though certainly one of Clockworks. Accidents could be arranged, but these ribbons were older than most living nations.
Accidents could be arranged, but Clockworks chain was rather short. A plan like this would’ve been decades in the making, if not centuries, and the observants would be none too pleased if Clockwork were to do real work outside their supervision. Meaning for real work and not silly lessons with effects quickly undone, Clockwork’s self initiative had chain of about six weeks in either direction, with one arranged accident per inconvenience before they were pressed about activity.
An accident could be arranged, but unless that accident extended across two dimensions and obliterated somewhere around four hundred to two thousand beings in one go Clockwork was stuck explaining themself to the council. And to papercut a decades long plan to death? That work would be noticed too.
Accidents plural could be arranged, but no accidents Clockwork could justify to a council of the most belligerent asshats Nocturne had ever had the displeasure of meeting would also arrange a solution without sending everyone years back, something the council would not do.
The decorative bow atop the rest of Clockworks restraints was that accidents could be arranged, but even if Nocturne's spot were to be taken the successor would simply have the same problem because the process would make them into the ‘same’ being and they would inherit the ribbons, and killing Nocturne (or otherwise) in such a violent manner would have massive world shaking blowout. Potentially worse than the ribbons were doing and would do over the years.
The final answer was to destroy decades worth of timeline to fix this, and no ghost in the world would agree on how or why to do that. Could the council stop debating themselves to obliteration before their time to solve this was up?
Clockwork didn’t seem to think so.
Getting to Long Now was such a nuisance on average, but Nocturne (correctly) presumed that one it’d gotten to the bottom of its new task then Clockwork would humor it with a more thorough conversation.
This time, it didn’t even have to break the front doors. How unusual!
Clockwork refused to turn from the mirrors before them, and Nocturne had to force down the indignation as it took its place high above.
Dreams are much weaker than the irrevocable force of Time, and killing Nocturne here would be messy and bad, but make the new problems straight forward.
“I will elect not to lecture if you turn to speak on equal terms. I will call this fair, given you’ve decided you’re in a corner. Enough to reach out.”
Ahhh to not lose touch with scathing statements, drenched in politics. Nocturne never misses them much, but such words have use.
Passively, Clockwork flickered and reappeared facing Nocturne.
“Better.” Nocturne hummed, electing to drip onto the floor from the ceiling. “Now-”
“Do not pretend you’ve power over this mess any more than I.”
“Never claimed anything of the sort! But you could do to acknowledge your partner in crime before you bark commands down the chain.”
Clockwork’s hand twitched, tightening around their staff, and Nocturne was sure they were mentally calculating if it was worth trying the conversation again.
“Now, I know the goal is peace, but pray tell if you’ve got a spare thought for how that is going to happen?”
Nocturne would genuinely like to know; Its continued existence was on the line the moment an idiot got martyr-y about it.
“Handling the ribbons is a monumental task at this scale, with few qualified to stop the ribbons and fewer still capable of surviving the job.”
“Yes, very much so. But if you’ll kindly direct some concern to the rest of the issue…”
Clockwork sighed, and turned to mirrors.
With a grand gesture designed to piss it off, the ribbon of… translation pending, appeared before them on the mirrors.
In the realm of volcanoes and fire was a crack, and in this crack was madness, and in this madness was a shard of Nocturne's body.
It was difficult to articulate the appearance of ‘void, but with sharp edges and hatred’, but thankfully Nocturne didn’t need to speak aloud about such a thing. Just stare at it as Clockwork warmed up to their point.
And then they didn’t progress the conversation in an action likely designed to piss Nocturne off even more.
Good thing Nocturne did not have teeth to grind.
“Yes, yes, the ribbon of… pleasure?”
“Close enough.”
Nocturne was sure Clockwork was smiling underneath that hood over its noise of disgust.
“The ribbon of pleasure, in the infinite zone of volcanoes and fire, and at the center my fragment ripe for the challenge. I am waiting to die from these miserable little mistakes, and await your suggestion to the contrary.”
“Now, who said anything about challenges?”
“Me.” Nocturne huffed, shuffling forward to examine the fragment.
“Why?”
Oh Nocturne could just...
“Because the fools who started this will have no further options. Because anyone fit to rise to solve this will not get further options.”
“Wrong.”
Nocturne refused to squirm in the following silence, immediately deciding it would out wait Clockwork of it was the last thing it ever did.
Clockwork seemed to catch on immediately at least, though it was difficult to tell if such a catch on was in fact after two hours of Nocturne commuting to suicide by any other name.
“Petulance will not serve you well in this instance. Regardless, if an appropriately powered being can approach with an appropriately malleable skillset, most fragments of this nature can be absorbed as opposed to destroyed.”
Ah. They’d gone mad, it sees this now.
“A fascinating theory. But see, there’s a lot of ifs you’re not articulating.” Nocturne hissed, jerking back from the mirrors to refocus on Clockwork.
“You first.” Clockwork hummed.
Of modest annoyances, this one failed to land. The predictability was more annoying, really.
“If we can find an appropriate candidate then they’d have to have the theoretical potential of at least me, and if we can find that someone they would have to be a child- still moldable in all ways including accepting my power-, and if we could find that child then even beyond its capacity to change it must have the separate capacity to walk two worlds, and if we find that child then we must hide it for long enough to get to keep it from the observants’ machinations and purify it of my influence. Provided we even can purify it.”
The final two were the truest sticking points of all; Nocturne, just as Clockwork, would never be permitted to keep a child. Nocturne wouldn’t even be allowed to keep a willing adult, but that was beyond the point.
“Not easy enough to hide, but I have my ways in keeping the observants eyes off me to get real work done.” Clockwork allowed.
Nocturne didn’t get chills easily, but it finally clicked to it that maybe, just maybe...
Nocturne was already in some deeply illegal shit just by being here, this time.
“You didn’t. Not already.”
“Oh, but I have. Did you think you’d get to say no to me? The moment the observants understand they have a blank spot in time, you will be found and interrogated as the missing piece.”
Nocturne was forced to pause.
It really, truly had to physically wrench itself back. The wild temperament of Dreams would lead to disaster.
“Fascinating. Would you like to know your odds of sense, in this instance?”
“No. I’d like to know who you have in mind, since you’re so smart as to kill us both.”
Clockwork hummed, pleased with themself as they waved at the mirrors again.
No chills, but…
“You’re joking, right?”
The young boy that had foiled its romp in Amity, desperately trying not to wilt into the wallpaper as his parents ranted and raved.
“Why would I?”
“To lure me into false hope. Your pet child is non negotiable to you, and you’ve missed the part where we’ll need to strip it of everything it gains. You wouldn’t.”
Clockworks hand tightened again, and Nocturne could hear the staff creak ever so slightly as the pressure became far greater than any mortal material could dream of handling.
“My child… I am pleased to know you regard it as such, but no. Young Danny is not mine to keep.”
“In formalities alone, no. But he’s yours, and you’re rather fond of the boy. Unless I’ve been seeing some other ghostling visit you every Sunday.”
Clockwork wasn’t looking directly at Nocturne, which was not technically a good sign.
“Not to keep.” Clockwork growled. Cracks spread along a mirror or possibly three, Nocturne was suddenly much too fixated on every errant twitch to care about the mirrors.
Nocturne did its best to not flinch away- despite the obviously in-equal status, Nocturne was a GOD in its own right. It couldn’t afford to flinch.
“That doesn’t matter, Clockwork. And if you would deign to clarify how we’re going to purify it...”
Clockwork didn’t relax as they shook their head no.
“The fuck you mean no, I’m helping dig your ass out this mess too. You wouldn’t be knocking on my door if you had other choices.”
“Two fold issue, a long story hardly of relevance.” Clockwork huffed, turning back towards their mirrors. With a wave and a suspiciously loud tick noise, the mirrors in question returned to an undamaged state. Phantom’s family resumed arguing on them, the boy left to awkwardly shuffle towards the stairs.
“Kroonoooooossss.” Nocturne elected to drawl after a pause.
Don’t get it wrong, it knew its risks. But it had a very bad hand before it, and would like to know if the pot cards made a difference.
The noise of total contempt Clockwork gave in response made it all worth it.
“There’s no world where you don’t know my problems with this. It’s lunacy at its finest. You’re sending me in blind to lead the meek and blind, the observants would rather I die and they play cleanup than let us do this anyhow, and somehow I think I and the observants have the fewest issues with these events. Forgive the acquisition of slang, there’s too many plot holes with this plan!”
“No, there isn’t. But you don’t have room for negotiation, do you?”
No, but that’s not stopping it.
“You have me verbally hostage, if not physically. I think me demanding a real answer as to why you care is the least amount of detail you can give me.”
“Wrong. Conversation over, go home and decide if you’d like to live.”
Nocturne wouldn’t have been able to take the belligerence anymore, lurching itself forward to assault Clockwork.
But it was already awake in one of its caves, three days before Nocturne figured out its task, one day before Clockwork had even informed it that it had a task, and a full sixteen hours after the cultists had completed the rituals.
Nocturne had fucked up in many ways, big and small.
For one, it had risen to Clockworks bait at all. Talk about taking one step forward and having your shins shattered for the effort…
Impossible to say if the mess could’ve gone differently, though. Clockwork clearly had a plan that Nocturne was but a vehicle for.
For two, Nocturne had no doubt Clockwork had already spent their one cosmic accident budget to make Nocturne look even worse out of this- all the better to force it to their whims. It had an educated guess about where that accident went, but what did it matter? Clockwork didn’t do anything by halves, Nocturne was fucked. Which went back to point one.
There were more fuck ups of course, some of them older than the swears it was muttering. A specific six of them, in fact.
One in the land of Volcanoes, one in the land of Atlanta Georgia, one in the land of The jungle, one in the land of Dallas Texas, one in the largest functioning cyber-network in the zone (now if Nocturne could get a clear answer about what that was, this would be nice), and one in the land of Shenghai China.
And apparently at the center of it all, a not-dead child to save them all! Joy!
Lunacy, lunacy, lunacy… What would the point be, in the end? Making the boy suffer like that for the world, once again?
Provided Clockworks pet could live, anyhow…
Maybe that was the point. A dramatic exit for what the observants already had their laser sights on, anyhow. A heroes death at it’s finest.
Whatever. It had its path and task, and despite everything Clockwork wasn’t self destructive. The situation would be solved if Nocturne obeyed.
Nocturne refused to trust any other detail of the situation, not that it changed its new goal.
It had to move fast. Find the portal, enter the house, spot the boy. Shuffling to the stairs as his parents bellowed away over something stupid.
Punctuated by everyone but him collapsing to the ground like all pathetic mortals in The Final Rest’s presence.
Form of stars, voice of satin, dripping like slime from cracks at the edge of the child’s vision.
Nocturne was sure it had made its entrance clear.
The white rings traveled up the child's body, revealing his powered form even as he dropped into an aggressive stance.
“Halt. Despite my entrance, this is more an offer of peace. Nice and quiet now, wouldn’t you agree?”
The boy couldn’t hide the shaky breath he took.
“Knocking people out isn’t peaceful.” He hissed, turning to glare at one of Nocturne’s larger blobs.
“I thought I kicked you out already. Back for another round?” He attempted to taunt, false confidence rising by the second.
“Please, child. Booting me out of one of my more vicious play fights is not a point of pride.”
The boy flushed a deeper green in barely concealed rage, backing away from the bulk of Nocturne’s form as it pooled in the center of the room.
“You have to have seen the news already. Three human locations under mysterious effects. It hasn’t been long, but it’s been profound, no?” It asked bluntly, rising as an owl this time. Rams were so last week, afterall.
The boys eyes flicked to the middle distance, contemplating.
“Maybe. Or maybe I don’t follow politics. Who knows, really?” He huffed.
“Stupidity gets you nowhere. Cultists have stolen artifacts of mine and used them for terrorism in its truest definition, in both the human realm and the infinite realm. It will spread if unmanaged.” Nocturne sighed, glooping its way towards the boy and stretching to far taller.
That certainly elicited a reaction, but who could say what was going on in the boy’s skull?
“And you’re sooo altruistic you wanna solve this yourself, I take it?” He prodded, backing away to the wall. If it occurred to him that he could phase through the wall and simply leave, it didn’t show.
Perhaps the child could’ve been a politician with that tonal bite. Alas...
“I have plenty to lose of they’re dealt with by traditional means. And you have much to lose if this spreads too far. The amount of people who die regardless if traditionally dealt with is uncountable. You, and the world with it, are in just as dire of straits as I with this mess.”
The boy paused, looking Nocturne up and down.
“And why should I take your word for it?”
Hmm… maybe if..
Nocturne made a sound like a shuddering breath and sank its form to only slightly taller than the boy.
“Because it’s not my word, it’s Clockworks.”
Another strong reaction. Nocturne was getting somewhere.
“And if you’re lying?”
Nocturne bowed forward slightly to imply consideration.
The child wasn’t wrong to distrust it, dreams were tricky things afterall. And personal experience gave a firm indication as to Nocturne’s temperament, be that true or false.
But the awake were always so predictable…
“We can visit them to ask, if you like. But permanence will take within days. It needs to be you, and we need to go. Now.”
The boy closed his eyes, considering.
“Clockwork, first. No confirmation, no help.” He ordered, eyes snapping open ans he crossed his arms.
“Of course.” Nocturne muttered, carefully eyeing how the child prepped to fly along with it.
He didn’t get the chance to fly on his own, already plucked away by Nocturne as it swooped down to the portal.
No time to waste, its non-life was on the line. And if the screaming was funny, then that was a bonus.

Inspired by a post i just saw, here is the only correct take on a Batfam Atla au(Tw for things present in Atla canon such as racial and misogynistic violence)
@mayameanderings @desi-pluto
Duke is the Avatar-No ifs or buts,he's literally THE SIGNAL OF HOPE FOR GOTHAM
Jason is a Fire Nation commoner who got adopted by the Fire Lord after his parents' death
The Fire Lord is Black Mask and Talia is Ursa but it's not shipping because EW,she's got no positive relation to him and was instead Jason's firebending teacher he thought BM succeeded in killing in his rage after finding out she was trying to adopt him but she actually escaped and got amnesia and a matching burn scar to Jason's but only the opposite side because she's his other half his father burned the bridge to
You know the drill-Jason's sent to capture Avatar Duke,Duke redeems him with his little shit sunshine boy swag without even trying, they are hashtag brothers in every universe.Lil bit more on Duke is that he's actually a Fire Nation Avatar but of the black etchnic subgroup in the comics and his parents were driven mad by spirits sent as 'punishment' for their 'impurity' by General Joker and this is why he is a nomad at the beginning, having fled the Fire Nation because he was sick and tired of still being the problem child at school but getting no comfort this time
(Note:Jason is part of this subgroup and for self-indulgence,every other element has their own black etchnic variant too)
Stephanie is an Airbender-Air Nomads are objectively the best part of Atla so she deserves it.She's tibetan AN and black AN mixed and is pretty much an Aang and Ty Lee fusion-Both in design and personality. Her plot is getting tangled up with Duke and Cass as the og trio when they end up at her temples and she ends the series as the Earth King's consort(that king being Cass)and an ambassador but beforehand spends her time doing anti-imperialist war crimes
Cass is the daughter of the Cains, who lied to everyone about her being mute so they could train her to be the perfect submissive obidient daughter only for it to be blasted back in their face as she learned Earthbanding at the tutelage of badgermoles since they couldn't speak either and she became an underground pro-bender as 'The Silent Bandit' to make money for herself to run away from home and her first instinct when she made enough was to go to the Air Nomads for safety. This more or less worked in the end as she ended up getting crowned Earth King over the actual bloodheirs
Tim is a nonbender who knows chiblocking, the last skill Janet taught him before she died and he used it to avoid getting bullied but isolated himself from other kids as a result because they thought he was a freak. He accidentally joined the main gang when they visited his hometown in the Fire Nation and helped them blend in and they went on an adventure where they gave him honorary member status and he became an official one when they returned
Dick is a trans waterbender and she's their mentor who joined in on their travels because she wasn't about to let a bunch of kids run around fighting fascists without an adult around so they'd have backup and someone to take care of them. She herself was the leader of the Teen Titans,a resistance team, but retired after having her bending taken away and it's returned to her by Duke a bit into her time with them. She leaves Roy to take care of the tribe and when they reunite,he pulls her into a passionate kiss as a confession in front of the whole Duke's Court(their team name)and they have your typical grossed out kids reaction and after this he becomes the Team Dad to her Team Mom
Damian is also trans and named Yasmine and here comes the big previous Avatar plot twist:It was actually Talia, who is of arab and chinese Earth Kingdom descent and not Fire Nation!!Part of the BM tragedy is that she died during childbirth due to Fire Nation induced sickness and this manifested in a Spirit World fiasco that ended with her being ressurected but no longer the Avatar because her soul'd been passed onto Duke by then and she was given a new one and her being lied to about Yasmine being stillborn so she'd stay in the FN.Yasmine's a Talia Warrior and does her best to uphold her mother's legacy due to all the thing's she'd been told about her
She joins Duke's Court, they find Talia again,Duke learns how to cure his parents with Avatar powers and they live happily ever after despite the struggles,Jason gets Lightningbending and white fire as symbolism for healing his inner child and the ages are Duke and Damian-12,Stephanie and Tim-13,Cass-14,Jason-17,Dick and Roy-25 and Talia-40s

Bionicle is weird yall
Okay so let's talk Bionicle. The Lego action figures with surprisingly deep lore and themes, and basically one of the coolest things to ever exist. You either love Bionicle or have not read Bionicle.
Who's your favorite? Mine has got to be Kopaka. For various reasons, including his general competence throughout the whole story. He's just pretty rad.
Now, you might be surprised I like Kopaka, since all things considered he's kind of a prick. He snarks at basically everything that enters his line of sight, and largely acts kind of stuck up due to his (admittedly justified) belief that he's the smartest person around. He spends the entire story fed up with everything else. He is completely and utterly convinced that he is the only sane person in the entire universe, and that nothing in the entirety of Mata Nui is behaving in a logical and rational way.
But see, here's the thing: all of that bluster about being the only rational thing around is complete bullcrap and lies, and here's why:
Kopaka, like all the original six Toa, is an amnesiac. He popped out of a magic canister in the ground and basically has no backstory to speak of since before he woke up he essentially didn't exist. And we know he's not a possible exception to this since, unlike the other Toa, he's the one we actually see it happen to. He has legit no idea who he is until Nuju tells him. What this means is simple: KOPAKA HAS NO FRAME OF REFERENCE. You can't judge something to be insane if you have not experienced sanity. Nothing is "irrational" in the abstract, you need context. Most people have extremely well-developed context obtained by living, but since Kopaka had not yet lived until he woke up he has NONE OF THAT.
And even if he did, he'd still be a massive hypocrite. Sure, the Matoran society and the Makuta are kind of weird, but Kopaka is a TOA, and Toa are a whole new kettle of craziness. Kopaka is a magic space warrior robot with the power to control the very concept of THIS STUFF IS COLD. His face is a magic mask that grants him X-ray vision and then gets even more powers later on. He can physically combine with other Toa to create a weird mega fusion Toa. Heck, after his first upgrade his primary weapon was skis. SKIS. He basically shapeshifts into a new body every time he goes somewhere else. And, as noted before, he legit just popped out of the ground one day, which makes him and his sibling Toa objectively weirder than all other Toa ever, since all the rest are transformed Matoran. Kopaka's entire existence is really freaking weird. He has no legs to stand on in his "I am the only rational being in the universe" belief. So where the heck did he get it from?
The simple answer: Mata Nui himself. When designing the Toa to act as a sort of internal anti-virus for all the weird garbage in his system, Mata Nui decided "You know what let's make the Ice one a prick who thinks he's sane" and somehow that idea perpetuated to the very end of the design process. The only reason Kopaka has to deal with everything else seeming completely bonkers to him is because Mata Nui, massive benevolent Troll that he is, *made him that way*. I bet when Kopaka finally made it to Bara Magna he was probably internally extremely relieved, because now he could judge the Agori by comparing them to the Matoran and vice versa instead of judging the Matoran on no actual justification whatsoever.
TLDR Kopaka is my favorite Bionicle because the entire premise of his personality is absurd and he probably spent the entire plot trying to internally justify it. Also ice powers go brrrrr

I honestly didn’t know that it was Ninjago’s 13th birthday, but I’m going to use it as an excuse to post this anyway!
(Click for better quality.)
Tumblr media
Ta-dah! Happy birthday, Ninjago! I can’t wait to see what your newest generation has in store!
(Wordless image and info under the cut.)
Tumblr media
- What I’ve learned from Ninjago is that the ninja may pride themselves on their dragon-riding abilities, but only Lloyd’s elemental symbol actually represents one. I chose a spider for Sora to represent her control over many pieces of technology, kind of like a spider and its web. And I chose a cool-looking brush in an attempt to make it appear “digital”.
- Arin created Object Spinjitzu, but Spinjitzu isn’t an Elemental Power in and of itself. Misako proved as such when she was able to perform Spinjitzu earlier in the series, despite not being an Elemental Master. To that end, I just did a simple design for his Object Spinjitzu.
- Wyldfyre was raised by a dragon, so of course her symbol should represent one. I tried not to lean into Kai’s or Lloyd’s symbol too much.
- Geo’s symbol was tricky, as I couldn’t think of an animal that could accurately portray fusion. I ended up using the ouroboros symbol, because it kind of looks like a snake fusing with its own tail.
- I just used the symbol on Morro’s uniform for Euphrasia. I know it’s technically Lloyd’s symbol, because Morro viewed himself as the Green Ninja, but I figured I should at least give a nod to the previous Master of Wind.
- The wording around the page, if it isn’t clear, is: “My dear children, I call you from the shadows and bestow these gifts so that you may remain steadfast in this ever-changing world.” I wanted to do it with a slightly different effect, but god dang, I ran out of layers!
- I don’t know, I just admire this interesting and a little sad concept of children being plucked from obscurity in order to protect what they believe in.
- I read a head canon on Tumblr that Wyldfyre had sunspots, which I think makes sense because of her constant time in the outdoors for most of her life.
- I think that because of Geo’s Munce genes, he would be the tallest out of the group. That’s all, really.

i have no idea if this is a popular theory or not but.. i have a theory that idrilla is missing because they were absorbed by another aeon.. specifically xipe, the harmony
you see, i came up with this theory about two weeks ago, when i was studying for a exam (im a philosophy major, i feel like it's important to disclose because i notice that starrail takes some elements from philosophy; the most obvious one being nous the erudition, i can write more about that another time), and during my studies i was reading about beauty and the meaning of beauty in philosophy. now, when i was studying, the beauty was regarding art (the class was philosophy of the arts), but i am sure it can be applied to beauty in general.
the guy i was reading about is Kant, so, in his line of thinking is that beauty is related to the way the object in question makes you feel, mostly described as a calming effect, or the internal feeling of harmony. now, it's been two weeks and my adhd ass doesn't remember the details and is probably making it less nuanced that it is, but the main idea is there. beauty has already been associated with harmony by philosophers.
now, with that in mind, we already know xipe has absorbed another aeon before, ena the order, because their concepts were pretty similar. and because ena and xipe fused, you can see some elements of them in xipes desing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
such elements as similar colors, the dark blue as the main color and gold details. as well as the galaxy that can be found both in the back of xipes dress and also the back of ena (unsure if its the back of the veil or something else). going of that, I'm pretty sure xipe also has elements of idrilla in their desing, that being the hair.
Tumblr media
as can be seen in the argenti lightcone, idrilla ( i am 90% sure the figure argenti is looking at is supposed to be idrilla) has white hair. white hair that coincidentally xipe shares. outside the statue of idrilla that we have seen, i don't think there's anything else regarding their appearance, and the statue doesn't give me a lot to work with i believe.
also, last note on their appearance, xipe has three heads, which can be a nod to them being the fusion of three different aeons.
that is all the evidence i have for now that makes me believe idrilla has been absorbed by xipe, and just from that I am pretty convinced that is true. if anyone has any other thing that can serve as proof, or anything that disproves this theory for that matter, I'd love to hear it!!

Major Takeaways I had from my first tournament
T’au are fighting an uphill battle right now. It’s sad, but true that right now we don’t have much that hits hard and we don’t have much staying power
1st turn is REALLY important for how we play. Since Kauyon doesn’t kick in till turn 3, the difference between 2 and 3 rounds of getting shot at is significant when it comes to your Kauyon Output. Plan accordingly to hide if you get 2nd turn
Strategic Reserves are your friends. Especially when fighting Space Marines, you need to keep your big targets off the table at the start of the game. My Stormsurge was Oath of Moment’d in 2 of my 3 games before it could get a single round of shooting off. If you’re playing a big crisis bomb or Stormsurge you need to keep it in reserves until you know you can shoot with it
Ghostkeel and Piranhas are our MVPs. I’m not including Tetras here because they’re Forgewold and hard to get, but these two did WORK. The durability of the Ghostkeel on my Home Objective is what made me present a challenge at all to my opponents, and the two Seeker Missiles on each Piranha plus the drone harassment are crucial to hurting enemy vehicles and knocking opponents off of objectives for secondaries
Ethereals are worth it for the CP alone. I had two Ethereals, one leading a strike team, the other alone, and the extra CP generation gave me some much needed flexibility. It allowed me to use great stratagems like Tank Shock and Grenades that I otherwise wouldn’t have the CP for. Plus if you put a gun drone on them, they act as a pretty good action monkey once you bring them in from Strategic reserves
STEALTH SUITS. Between the rerolls of 1s to wound for guided units, to Infiltrating with Stealth, to bring a cheap source Markerlights guiding, to the FREE once per game Rapid Ingress, this is a must have unit. I ran 3 minimum strength units and will likely be doing so indefinitely
Our enhancements are great! I used Exemplar of the Kauyon, Puretide Engram Neurochip (PEN for short) and Through Unity, Devastation and all of them came in clutch at different points of my games. In particular, the PEN was fantastic as it allowed me to Rapid Ingress 2 Crisis Bombs (for FREE with the Stealth suits) on my opponent’s turn two when I went second and it gave me the possibility to Overwatch a second time as well
It’s still possible to have fun in 10th. I lost 2/3 games, but my second loss went 54-56 and was one of the best 40K games I’ve ever played. Play your best, aim to have fun and don’t beat yourself up if you don’t do well. We got this, Shas’os!
For my personal list, I’m likely going to revise the armament of my second crisis team to have Fusion Blasters and Missile Pods as the Burst Cannons and Flamers are just useless against anything T5 or higher and might swap out the Coldstar commander for a Crisis Commander as the reroll 1s might be worth the lost movement and assault if I’m Rapid Ingressing the unit anyways

File: Godzilla
SCP#: ABQ
Code Name: The Incarnation of Oppenheimer's Sin/ The Unsung Hero of Earth: Godzilla/ Gojira: King of Monsters.
Object Class: Apollyon/ Thaumiel
Special Containment Procedures: Not only is containment of SCP-ABQ impossible, it is discouraged. SCP-ABQ is essential to the survival of the human race and the preservation of peace between humanity and the Large-Scale Class Anomalies located all over the world hidden under the crust and oceans. Instead, any Group of Interest or anomaly that attacks SCP-ABQ with the intent to kill it is to be met with extreme prejudice.
Description: SCP-ABQ is a Large-Scale Class Anomaly belonging to Species of Interest: The Titans. SCP-ABQ is about 108 meters tall which is typical height for the Titan species. Like most of the Titan species, SCP-ABQ is reptilian in nature with the basic appearance of an Iguana. SCP-ABQ's scales are a very dark gray with large plate-like spikes on its back, acting as intimidation appearance, defensive purposes, and as biological batteries. SCP-ABQ has the particular power to generate fusion based atomic energy within its body that gets processed through the plates on its back. Once it has generated enough energy SCP-ABQ is able to blast atomic fire resulting from the fusion energy within its body, out of its mouth. Quite similar to how a dragon has an organ in its throat that stores hydrogen gas to breath fire.
Surprisingly SCP-ABQ doesn't just make fusion based atomic energy but can also absorb atomic energy to regenerate from any wound. It can even grow stronger when it receives excess energy. Should SCP-ABQ achieve this, it will reach a critical point where its body is constantly releasing fusion energy with a temperature of 500,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Hot enough to burn everything around it and melt steel instantaneously. SCP-ABQ will also be able to release thermonuclear shockwaves all around it, vaporizing everything, even other Titans.
SCP-ABQ in particular is a Titan known as an Alpha, Alpha Titans rule over other titans without question. This is mainly thanks to the fact that, like all Alpha Titans, SCP-ABQ has the ability to release a frequency that both communicates with and gives commands to other Titans. Naturally this would make SCP-ABQ a hazard for an OK Class Omega Species Uprising Scenario as well as a possible SK Class Dominance Shift Scenario. However, that is not the case regarding SCP-ABQ at all.
SCP-ABQ, unlike most Titans, has no ill will towards humanity so long as humanity does not harm it. Instead, SCP-ABQ stays in the earth's oceans and swims around the world to guard all life on earth. Rather than a tyrant, SCP-ABQ acts as a guardian of earth, defending it from hostile Titans as well as other overwhelming anomalous threats. Though the Foundation and other organizations within the ACPA are grateful for this, why SCP-ABQ does this is unknown.
Futhermore, SCP-ABQ has the ability to spread great amounts of Gaia Radiation. Gaia Radiation, unlike normal radiation that inflicts sterility and increases occurrence of developmental abnormalities, heals and increases quality of life for all fauna and flora. Gaia Radiation is a form of non-electromagnetic radiation that acts like a super vitamin in energy form capable of reaching through any material to affect all living organisms. How exactly this works is not well understood as Gaia Radiation is extremely difficult to contain and often dissipates when it is. Though what is known is that exposure to Gaia Radiation includes nearly instantaneous regeneration and healing and even enhanced growth when exposed for extended periods of time; this applies to all forms of life exposed. Anywhere where a Titan like SCP-ABQ has been will start growing into a lush forest within a single month. It is because of Gaia Radiation that Species of Interest: The Titans exist as large and powerful as they do, despite our laws of nature stating they shouldn't even exist.
SCP-ABQ was discovered in 1954, residing on the deep waters of [data expunged] beach, of Hiroshima. Apparently, it had been there since 1945, absorbing the nuclear energy that did contaminate the city. It was because of SCP-ABQ that the city was able to be rebuilt in two years; however, it was also because of the bomb that SCP-ABQ was awakened. It was for reasons like this that the US Governments, like most governments in the world, are looked at with a negative light by the Foundation.
SCP-ABQ originated from SCP-[data expunged] only coming to the surface to feed on the sudden influx of atomic energy during World War 2. Since then, for better or worse SCP-ABQ has influenced the anomalous world. Please See Addendum X-23 for details
***
Addendum X-23
The following is a list of what SCP-ABQ has done since its awakening as well as the exact years of its activities.
1955 - SCP-3700-1 battles SCP-3700-2 but is nearly defeated especially with the growing population of SCP-3456 instances. However, SCP-ABQ intervenes and with its atomic breath, destroys all the SCP-3456 instances and greatly injures SCP-3700-2. From there SCP-3700-1 and SCP-ABQ fight against SCP-3700-2 and are overwhelmingly victorious. Afterwards SCP-ABQ leaves, and SCP-3700-1 proceeds to bring good weather to the area. SCP-ABQ was reported by Naval Task Force Delta-7 to have appeared quite a few times as the years went by. It always assisted SCP-3700-1 and completely obliterated SCP-3700-2.
1961 - Foundation staff discovered SCP-[data expunged] on the island of [data expunged] causing it to awaken not long after. SCP-[data expunged] forced all Foundation staff off of the island and later cocooned itself. After about a day, SCP-[data expunged] evolved into its second form. This was where SCP-ABQ rose up from the ocean and addressed SCP-[data expunged] with a surprisingly friendly manner.
SCP-[data expunged] and SCP-ABQ separated afterwards, Foundation staff returned to the island for further research. Natives of the island told Dr. [data expunged] that SCP-[data expunged] was Mothra, queen of monsters, meanwhile SCP-ABQ is Gojira, King of Monsters. Later the natives introduced the Foundation to historical paintings and records allowing Foundation staff to understand Species of Interest: The Titans.
1964 false - SCP-[data expunged] as well as many other SCP-[data expunged] instances awakened from the earth's crust or surface form SCP-[data expunged]. SCP-ABQ and SCP-[data expunged] battled them all while receiving reinforcements in heavy firepower by the Foundation and other ACPA organizations. SCP-[data expunged] was killed as a result and SCP-ABQ was recognized as the Alpha again. Unfortunately, the end result was 78% of the human population being wiped out. Under protocol "No Humanity" the remaining 22% was executed before the activation of SCP-2000.
1964 True - SCP-ABQ and SCP-[data expunged] were not affected by SCP-2000 and even became the unconditional Alphas of all SCP-[data expunged] instances. SCP-ABQ then ordered all SCP-[data expunged] instances to retreat into SCP-[data expunged] allowing humanity to thrive in peace.
1971 - Foundation researchers discover the island known as SCP-[data expunged] as well as SCP-[data expunged]-Alpha. SCP-ABQ arrives on the island and fights with SCP-[data expunged]-Alpha. However, their fight is interrupted by the sudden appearance of SCP-[data expunged]-1 instances. Once SCP-[data expunged]-Omega appears, SCP-ABQ and SCP-[data expunged]-ALPHA battle and are eventually victorious. Because of their victory an unspoken peace was established between the two as SCP-ABQ left the island.
1974 - Group of Interest: The Imperial Japanese Anomalous Matters Examination Agency created a mechanical monstrosity known as SCP-[data expunged] in the likeness of SCP-ABQ. It was unleashed on Japan and was meant to be a symbol of the rebirth of Japan's Imperialism over the world as well as its revenge for WWII. However, SCP-ABQ as well as SCP-[data expunged] fought against the mechanical monstrosity and after about a day it was finally defeated.
The result was several coastal Japanese cities being destroyed and the overall situation nearly leading to an MK Class Broken Masquerade Scenario. Thankfully though SCP-[data expunged] was defeated and a majority of its parts were contained within the Foundation. However there has been confirmation that other Groups of Interest managed to get smaller parts that might have anomalous properties. A Joint Task Force of Gamma-5 "Red Herrings” and Poseidon-3 "Otaku Heart" was formed to silence the media and erase the memories of the entire event. The cover story was that a horrible typhoon hit the coast of Japan resulting in the destruction of the cities.
1989 - SCP-722 woke up and wreaked havoc on the surrounding areas, this somehow resulted in SCP-3000 surfacing, leading to a fight between the two. The Fight led to the complete destruction of the island [data expunged] located in the [data expunged] ocean. The coastal city of [data expunged] was unfortunately affected by SCP-722's toxins and the survivors suffered from SCP-3000's Cognito hazardous effects leading to [data expunged]. They were later killed off by the Foundation since there was no way to save them.
Before the rampaging could continue Mobile Task Force Apollo-1 "Orion's Belt" tried to bombard both entities, forcing them back into the depths. However, SCP-3000 somehow knew of the MTF Apollo-1 ships moving into position of engagement. It retaliated by screaming into the sky, directly towards the MTF Apollo-1 ships, with a sonic vibration capable of various Cognito hazardous effects. Most Foundation staff, MTF units, and pilots died upon contact while others suffered heavy brain degradation similar to Stage 5 of Alzheimer's Disease. This resulted in MTF Apollo-1 suffering over [data expunged] in casualties as well as losing a total of [data expunged] ships as well as the SCPSS "Victory" and the SCPSS "Armageddon" both of which where GBSWD-53 "Black Hole" dreadnought class ships.
With nothing to stop them, SCP-3000 eventually overpowered SCP-722, forcing it to serve under SCP-3000. SCP-3000 and SCP-722 moving fast with its trajectory destination being Site-[data expunged]. It started traveling via SCP-[data expunged], this action alone angered SCP-ABQ causing it to act. SCP-ABQ intercepted SCP-3000 and SCP-722, being immune to both of their anomalous attacks. SCP-ABQ quickly overwhelmed the two with its strength as well as its atomic breath. Once SCP-3000 and SCP-722 were stunned due to massive injuries, SCP-ABQ tried to secure the kill until [data expunged] appeared. [data expunged]; afterwards, it healed SCP-3000 and forced SCP-722 back to slumber. SCP-ABQ and SCP-3000 left each other in peace and [data expunged] vanished from sight.
It is unknown as to why Site-[data expunged] was SCP-3000's destination, though Dr. [data expunged] believes it might be related to SCP-[data expunged].
1990 - SCP-5514 construction is complete however at the same time SCP-ABQ starts heading to Site-[data expunged] where it is being held. SCP-5514 was about to be deployed into battle but instead MTF High Commander Yōsai gave the command to have SCP-5514 bow to SCP-ABQ upon arrival.
SCP-5514 met with SCP-ABQ at the coast of [data expunged] afterwards SCP-ABQ started roaring to which SCP-5514 bowed to it as MTF High Commander Yōsai commanded. Like he predicted, SCP-ABQ accepted and returned to the ocean instead of fighting. MTF Gamma-5 worked around the clock to distribute amnestics to everyone while Mobile Task Force Dionysus-1 "Fake News" intercepted all newspaper outlets to present the leaked photos of SCP-ABQ and SCP-5514 as leaked special effects from an upcoming movie "Godzilla: King of Monsters vs the Dragon Slayer." TriStar Pictures was asked by the Foundation to create this movie to make the lie more authentic. They successfully created the movie in 1998, it was a massive flop at the box office.
1997 - SCP-169 started becoming active and moving at slowly increasing speeds. SCP-ABQ swam to SCP-169 and grabbed onto its stomach area where it started draining its body heat. Doing this slowed down SCP-169 allowing Mobile Task Force Gamma-6 "Deep Feeders" to attach the Large-Scale Anesthetic Injection device into SCP-169's gills without worry. Ensuring SCP-169 would go back to sleep. SCP-ABQ noticed the MTF Gamma-6 submarine but only glanced then swam away.
2000 - The Global Occult Coalition and Eight Wings of Mekhane created their own equivalents to SCP-5514 in preparation in accordance with ACPA protocol "The Bigger Boot". SCP-ABQ appeared before both of them as well, the Eight Wings of Mekhane had their giant mech bow immediately while the Global Occult Coalition nearly decided to just kill SCP-ABQ. It was only thanks to [data expunged] that they stopped themselves and their mecha finally bowed as well. Afterwards MTF Gamma-5 and MTF Dionysus-1 did the same procedures as the first incident with SCP-5514. It even led to the Global Occult Coalition to asking Legendary Entertainment to create "Godzilla & Mothra VS The Living Fortress & The Living Temple" since they bought rights to the "Godzilla Brand" after the TriStar Pictures flop. They finally succeeded in 2014, it was also a massive flop at the box office with critics asking, "Where do they come up with these stupid ideas?" and "The Robots look so stupid, there's no way any government in the world would create something so ridiculous". Several GOC representatives were especially annoyed upon hearing that.
2006 - SCP-ABQ was wandering the oceans of [data expunged] until it found a dying SCP-[data expunged] with what was clearly some eggs belonging to the species. SCP-ABQ seemingly roared out and SCP-[data expunged] appeared from the oceans seemingly by using SCP-[data expunged] as transportation. SCP-[data expunged] released a harmonic song that eased the SCP-[data expunged] instance as it died. Afterwards both SCP-[data expunged] and SCP-ABQ carried as many eggs as they could and transported them into SCP-[data expunged]. As of 20[data expunged] the species of SCP-[data expunged] now thrives well within SCP-[data expunged].
2011 false - Instances of SCP-[data expunged] started waking up all over the world. As a response SCP-ABQ, SCP-[data expunged], SCP-[data expunged]-Alpha, and several SCP-[data expunged] instances went out to fight the emerging SCP-[data expunged] instances. SCP-5514 as well as the GOC's and EWM's mechas were deployed in the "Infected" areas. Unfortunately, the conflict ended in 82% of the world's population being wiped out. Under Protocol "Last Chance" the remaining 18% were evacuated from earth and sent to Site-AI as well as other Foundation off earth colonies. Afterwards SCP-2000 was activated and rebuilt the earth without affecting SCP-ABQ or the others.
2011 true - The remaining SCP-[data expunged] instances that did not surface were collected and contained by newly constructed underground Foundation recon bases around the world. Those that couldn't be contained were killed on sight. Unfortunately, several SCP-[data expunged] instances have been sighted within SCP-[data expunged]. Efforts to purge them and stop the "infection" are ongoing.
Side Note: In their victory SCP-[data expunged] and SCP-ABQ mated, which was very surprising since one is an insectoid and the other is reptilian. However, it was proven possible as SCP-[data expunged] started laying eggs the year afterwards. The eggs are located in [data expunged].
2013 - The first instance of SCP-[data expunged] manifested but was killed off by SCP-ABQ almost immediately, thankfully before it reached the surface. From that point on every six months either SCP-ABQ or SCP-5514 killed any SCP-[data expunged] instance that appeared.
2021 - A secret base at the island of SCP-[data expunged] owned by Group of Interest: Anderson Robotics developed a new instance of SCP-[data expunged], including old pieces from the original instance. It quickly goes out of control after being fueled by [data expunged] as such SCP-[data expunged]-Alpha fights in but is quickly overpowered. Thankfully SCP-ABQ shows up and saves him and once again the two work together to fight SCP-[data expunged]. However, even then they are close to losing, forcing the Foundation to deploy SCP-5514, finally giving them the winning tide until they are victorious. Once again, they leave one another in peace.
2023 - The eggs started hatching leading to the birth of SCP-[data expunged] and SCP-[data expunged]. Surprisingly SCP-[data expunged] ended up bonding with [data expunged] who was only 5 years old and was there out of coincidence. This was especially alarming as it related to the mural found in [data expunged], said to be a prophecy.

misfire dating hc maybe >w>?? (gn/human reader)
theres wayy too little content of him and i need more.... :3c
- Raft
I love misfire so much I think he’s wonderful, these are just general dating headcanons!! I’ll probably go into more detail if prompted >>:]
Warnings: sfw under the cut
- ohhhhh my god this bitch is so full of adhd
- you literally got a Mech with a giant dinosaur like- that’s your boy and his dog
- he loves his little family he made but he would blow up stars if you asked. Big ol simp!! He really tries to brag around you, no matter how much Krok and Fulcrum tease him. He’ll lift heavy objects or tell you stories about how he beat up the autobots back in the day, he really likes that you listen to him. That means a lot to a rock bottom Decepticon like him.
- protective as HELL over his squishy. Even with the other members of the Scavengers at first. He’s hesitant to put you down anywhere, scared that Spinister may step on you or a squabble between them would get you hurt. So he insists on carrying you 90% of the time.
- as a scavenger he finds you the best food, clothes, or any other human Knick knacks he can find. He’ll come back and show you his catch for the day or he’d be delighted if you came with him while he searched the scrap wastes. You have to stay near him though, he worries.
- won’t admit it but he loves cuddles. They make him eternally happy. Whether or not he’s mass displaced, he wants to spoon you. You’re safe in his arms and he’ll be so grateful if you give him kisses while he falls into recharge.
- he’s not really good in the berth. Yeah he’s had his fair share of flings like any other soldier in need of touch, but you’re different. He doesn’t want to mess up and treat you any less than he feels you are. Sets up this massive dinner date and the evening goes Scavenger sideways and the two of you just end up in his room together.
- “I meant for this to be real. To court you proper with a cybertronian and human fusion. I’m sorry it didn’t turn out that way, I still hope I’m worth your time.”
- a few heated kisses later and he forgets what he was upset about. His greedy servos search your body, getting to know what it’s like in a deeper level. If you ask him to stay the same size, he will be insistent on having you top him.
- He’s a switch all the way and damn he’s good at going down on you. He seriously knows how to use his tongue. He’ll make you a hot panting mess without even meaning to just because he wanted another taste of your skin. He’s near insatiable once you get him going so be careful with teasing, he’s a Scavenger and he doesn’t like denial.
- that being said he can be told to wait. Light touches and heated glances all cycle long and he’s searching for the nearest closet to get some relief with you.
- he’s down for quickies, but prefers longer sessions where he can talk to you after. He’s a master at pillow talk and aftercare. He’s a sweetheart.
