I feel like part of why I haven't gotten back to my isekai series in so long is I don't really know what to do with the pov character guy anymore lol. I can absolutely admit he was a bit of a self-insert, but I feel like I don't know how to get back into that mindset and I'm not sure what purpose he really serves.

Not gonna lie, I've considered rebooting the whole thing without him, since I still love the other characters so much. Plus Penny also got isekai'd, so the series as a whole would still count lol. But weirdly I think I'd feel sort of guilty about it, and I also don't really want to deal with the implications of getting rid of him in the continuity I've already established.

Why can I not just write the pron? Why do I have to do this?

My one security breach oc! I’ve had them for a while now just never posted them.

jade can go almost everywhere in the plex, and probably likes to chase on all 6 when they do get aggressive.

They are really protective, So the endless patrol are justified with a mindset of checking every area for intruders, damage and so forth.

At first they're fine with Gregory hiding because he's still a guest to them, (same way Sundrop kinda sees Gregory, new friend.) but if he damages the building - or, more specifically, its robotic inhabitants - they'll start to become hostile. They are a dragon so of course they’ll be protective over their area.

They themselves see sun and moon as really good friends and are less inclined to help Gregory after the daycare incident. And while they are willing to help Gregory, they still relatively follow Vannys orders. They aren’t as controlled by the virus as the others.

They have an “area” but you have to take the little train to get to it. It’s higher up with a mountain mural that opens up into a cave. They do have a little “horde” of gifts given to them by kids, drawings and such.

Jade and Screech giggled as they slapped their tentacles, hands, or whatnot on the ipad screens, the loud music of the terribly animated babies danced on the screen.

Hiding away in a closet, Jack watched amused at the two new best friends. He hummed softly, a little concerned at the odd videos they watched together, slobbering all over the screens.

"what's the time kiddos?" he asked.

"EHEHEH NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS" Screech giggled.

"kiddo." jack warned.

"11:30!!!" jade screamed, Screech gasped dramatically.

"EHEHEH- YOU TRAITOR"

Jade laughed, shrugging. "WHOOPS."

Jack sighed. "i'll get seek if you don't go to bed."

They both let out a shrill scream as they threw the ipads across the closet floor, Jack let out a burst of laughter.

"NONOOOO DON'T GET MR. NO FUN" Jade cried.

Jack snorted. "ohh really?? not get him?"

They both shook their heads frantically.

It nodded. "Good now, nap time"

They groaned, Jade was the first one to curl up like a cat and Screech following suit, curling up next to it as they both fell asleep instantly. Jack hummed softly, as it moved on with it's day.

In the end, it didn't tell Seek where they were hiding.

Got a handful of asks from @shamanbodian a while back, sorry for taking so long to finally answer them lol. Focusing on various isekai story characters.

🥵: What time of year would you most likely see them down with a cold? Are they a common winter sickie, or are they the rare type to catch a bug in the heat of summer?

Penny and Jade are probably just the classic winter cold type, but Komithe is definitely a summer cold kind of girl. Eshena could just catch a cold whenever, because according to her the universe exists to make her miserable lol.

🤧: Age-old inquiry: tissues or handkerchiefs? Better yet, do they normally sneeze into an alternative?

Penny, Jade and Komithe will all use tissues, though Penny probably only uses one if she needs to blow her nose. Typically she'll just sneeze uncovered. Komithe sorta has the vibes of someone who'd use a handkerchief, but I feel like she either doesn't think to buy them or she just keeps losing them all the time and ends up using tissues.

🗣: Rate you character’s sneezes from 1-10 with these three categories: Volume (1=Softest), Mess Rating (1=Least Messy), and Frequency (1=Only One Sneeze, vs 10=Abundant Fits).

Eshena:

Volume: 5, not quiet, but not devastatingly loud or anything.

Mess: 6, above average messiness, but also not anything extreme.

Frequency: 3, typically sneezes in singles, and rather than fits she's more likely to have more individual sneezes spaced out over a period of time.

Komithe:

Volume: 3-6, depending on whether she stifles and how successfully. Her stifled sneezes are small but not silent, and a fully unstifled sneeze can be a bit sharp.

Mess: 2, generally not very messy unless she's really stuffed up.

Frequency: 2-3, fairly similar to Eshena in that she has mostly single sneezes. Really only prone to fits if directly exposed to feathers for a while.

💐: For characters with allergies! Have they ever received a gift with something their allergic to? How did they react? If they got a gift with an allergen, how would they react?

Eshena would absolutely complain about it and make it everybody's problem. Likely the only way she wouldn't throw it back in the giver's face is if it was something from a higher ranking deity, in which case she'd grumble about it in private and whine behind their back to everyone else.

For Komithe, it would depend on the gift. If it was something like a stuffed animal filled with feathers, she'd love and cherish it no matter how much it made her sneeze. For anything else she'd probably be kinda confused and offput by it, not really sure how to respond. One idea I had for an unwritten chapter involved her getting a bottle of perfume that makes her sneeze, and while she wouldn't end up keeping it or using it after finding out, it at least wouldn't upset her too much.

I am so so so so so happy with how this turned out. This is the official teaser comic for my fanfic, The Creation of a Villain, available to read on my AO3.

I have so much planned, and I'm gradually restoring a healthy relationship with my writing, and I'm very excited to share it.

For those who are interested, I've got a few more teasers on what I have planned in store. (Marked with * if it contains mild spoilers for TCOAV)

-Adding onto the established magic system.

-Adding onto established classes/lessons.

-*MC happens to be just as horrible of a person as most of the students here, resulting in some gradual changes to the canon that become more and more noticeable as time passes.

-It's an aged up AU where NRC is an actual college, so characters get mild additions to backstories (as well as some height changes).

-*Lots of possible headcanons for Royal Sword Academy, including a B/side plot with another MC that is a student there.

-Inclusion of canon events, as well as some I create on my own.

-I love exploring character development, so there's gonna be more of that :>

-*She does, indeed, get attached.

-A lot more!!!
