i am once again thinking about how percy thought that there was a some sort of timid truce between sally/paul and poseidon/amphitrite then one day, he walks into his apartment and his mom is having tea with amphitrite every sunday and paul heads down to the beach every few days and talks with his dad. Sally and Poseidon have been smiling alot more at eachother lately and Paul took a day to show Amphitrite around NewYork. Just the two of them.
Percy is so confused but just thinks all of his parents are finally getting along so he’s happy.

All that energy spent making Poseidon and Sally's relationship a beautiful, tender but painful tragedy was so good. It hit so well.
But I cannot lie to anyone. I am still looking forward to seeing Sally get with Paul in the later seasons.
I'm not gonna apologize for who I become when Poseidon starts getting lowkey salty at Paul for dating Sally.
Block me now, because this is a Paul Blofis stan account and I'm not accepting antis.

Know what I think would be hilarious? If Estelle had been born or created when Percy was age 12 with Paul as the younger sibling's biological mortal human parent and Poseidónas (Ποσειδώνας) as her divine parent. Either the Greek God got pregnant coz deities are not limited by biology or she suddenly appears into existence the way Ἀntéros (Ἀντέρως), divine son of Nirítis (Νηρίτης) and Poseidónas, did during the ancient times; except Estelle would show up as a newborn instead of as an adult. Then Paul a week later meets Sally at a writing seminar and the 2 become friends, 1 of their conversation topics being their respective ex-boyfriends without knowing those 2 men are actually the same guy; Sally names Estelle after her (Sally's) mum since Paul says he has no ideas for a name. When Paul a year & half later introduces Estelle to Sally and meets Percy, they all think it's a funny coincidence that Estelle's eyes are identical to Percy's (which is canon despite her being a mortal human in the books, not a demigod). Finally, the truth gets figured out when Poseidónas shows up at Percy's 15th birthday party.
Bonus: Poseidónas isn't the 1st ever person Sally dated. 1st was Amfitrítis (Αμφιτρίτης) when the mortal human was age 20, but the 2 cis ladies weren't dating long enough for a demigod to be conceived or suddenly appear. 2 years later, she met Poseidónas at the beginning of summer and realises her ex-girlfriend was a (most likely Greek) God. Jackson is a common surname, so it takes a while for everyone to figure out Amfitrítis and Sally used to be a sapphic couple. The only one unamused by all of this is Tríton (Τρίτων).
To be clear, Sally-x-Paul are loyal spouses to each other and have no intention of forming a relationship with the deities again (plus Paul isn't clear-sighted and, prior to Amfitrítis making her immune to the Mist as a 12th birthday gift, neither is Richi who is Paul-x-Sally's O.C. bio daughter born on 15th March 2011). But they do think it's ironic that they share an ex and one of them is that shared ex's own wife's ex.

Percy slashes with riptide, forwards, under Luke’s neck until- Hands appear in front of his neck, stopping the blade from touching. Golden blood emerges, staining the celestial bronze blade. Golden blood? Luke doesn’t have golden blood. Breath heaving and confused, Percy looks up at Luke’s face. The large, intrusive scar that runs down Luke’s face isn’t there. Dinner Dates (ao3 link)
Summary: Poseidon just wanted to have a nice candle lit dinner date with Paul, but with Sally coming home a little earlier than planned makes it a little harder. And does she really have to get Amphitrite involved?
So this was just a little idea I had, influenced by something I thought of years ago and I just wanna write it now. I don't think Sally, Poseidon and Paul are super in character but it is crack so its ok for them to be a little ooc.
Have fun 😘✌️
Poseidon sighed.
"You send my son on dangerous quests, have him fight your wars and now you come into my house and try to seduce my husband." Sally through her hands in the air with a look of such outrage that made Poseidon remember how much he still loved her.
"Sally," he started, "remember, Percy is my son too, and I do regret the troubles he's faced," - "troubles?!" - "troubles," Poseidon repeated louder over the top of Sally, "and I swear on me that it's not what it looks like."
She looked at him with a face that screamed are you serious and gestured at the candle lit dinning table in front of her set with red roses in a crystal vase and the most beautiful white porcelain plates he could get set at both ends. Paul sat on one end, watching him and Sally with wide eyes, with the thick high quality napkin on his lap that Poseidon placed there and the meat he was about to eat still on his golden fork.
Poseidon cleared his throat, "I mean to say, it is exactly what it looks like."
Sally put her face in her hands and screamed. She then started to take deep breaths and began to whispers, "ok, it's ok, this is fine, just fine."
Taking another deep breath she looked back up and walked over to Paul, grabbed his face and kissed him, which was, something. Yes, something. Seeing her hands reaching in Paul's hair, grasping and tugging on the short dark locks brought back memories of how Sally would kiss him like that, seventeen years ago. But seeing it on the outside like this, the woman he loved with the man he was interested in was definitely something. Something to definitely be explored. Later. Yes, later.
"Ahem," Poseidon cleared his throat and tapped his foot, he was a God, he was not meant to be ignored like this, no matter how distracting the scene in front of him was.
Sally released Paul who looked up at her with a loved up look that was understandable. Paul surprisingly was still holding onto the fork with his slice of meat.
"What did he do for it to come to this?" She asked Paul.
"He gave me whiteboard markers that will never run of of ink." Paul replied.
She nodded, "that'll do it."
"He's also offered to take me out for a boating trip."
"Of course he has." Sally sighed, and went to grap a notebook. Opening it up to a blank page she then clicked her pen and looked at Poseidon, "what are Lady Amphitrite's favourite foods."
Poseidon's eyebrows shot up in surprise, "Amphitrite is a Goddess, Sally, we eat ambrosia and drink nectar, rarely do we consume mortal food."
Sally sighed again, "I need something to work with Poseidon."
"Why would you need to know?"
"Well, if you are going to seduce my husband, then I may as well seduce your wife."
He blinked at her, "You want to seduce Amphitrite?"
She raised an eyebrow, "you don't think I can?"
"I believe you can, dear." Paul spoke up, looking up at his wife with such adoration.
Sally smiled down at him and gave him a small kiss on his lips, "thank you dear, I'm glad one of you believes in me," and shot a look at Poseidon over her shoulder.
"Sally, I very much believe you can do anything you put your mind to, even seducing my wife, but," and he looked at Paul who gave him a small charming smile, "does it have to be now? Can it not be later? Preferably tomorrow?"
Sally slowly rose back to her full height, "I come into my home, exhausted from my day out, to find my ex successfully seducing my husband and now I'm expected to go nicely and quietly away?"
Poseidon pursed his lips, "yes."
"I will not." Sally declared and sat herself in his chair, "you both will now help me plan out the most perfect romantic picnic set for the Queen of Atlantis."
She then took a stab at the salad Poseidon set for himself in his plate with his fork and ate it. Swallowing it she looked at them both with her pen poised ready for notes and said, "go."
Poseidon closed his eyes and Paul began to offer suggestions, this was going to be a long night.

you're holding the heart of mine
Poseidon knew.
He knew that one day, Sally would move on.
That he would leave her, and she would cry over it, but then someone new would sweep her off her feet, and she would be happy.
But as he looked at her, her bright blue eyes, her big smile, he found he didn’t want that to happen.
So he let himself succumb to temptation, and did not pull away.
~*~
That was a mistake.
A child came from the union, and when Sally tells him she is pregnant, he panics.
This was not supposed to happen.
When he tells her, she is furious. “What do you mean, this was not supposed to happen?” She demands. “I tell you we will have a child, and this is your reaction?”
“Sally,” He says pleadingly, “You must understand, I am a god!”
“I know!” She said sharply, “But what does this have to do with our child?”
He lowered his voice. “My brother has forbidden us from having children. Do you know what lengths he will go to rid any Forbidden Child that poses a threat to Olympus?”
She pales, but places one hand firmly on her stomach. “I cannot let him go, Poseidon.” She says, scared but determined.
“It will be hard,” He warns her, “You will have to face much suffering.”
“I will do anything for my baby.” She raises her head high, and Poseidon knew there would be nothing he could do to sway her.
Poseidon drew in a breath. “Very well.”
~*~
Their child is born, and Poseidon cannot help but visit him.
He approaches her bed, and she smiles weakly at him.
He stares at the little boy, his black hair so much like his own.
“What is his name?” He asks.
“Perseus. Perseus Jackson.”
He tilts his head. “But that is the name of my brother’s son.”
She shakes her head. “I did not name him for his heritage. I named him Perseus for a happy ending to my son’s tale.”
Oh. Poseidon’s smile became a little forced. He didn’t have the heart to tell Sally that happy endings did not come often. Even Heracles did not receive rest even after he was bestowed godhood. He stroked the babe’s head. “He will be a great hero,” He said instead.
Sally smiles. “I know.”
~*~
The next time he visits, their is another man’s ring on her finger.
He does not let the jealousy loose, he does not tear the house down with waves to remove the competition. Instead, he asks, “Who?”
Sally sighs. It was not a lovesick sigh, thank the gods. “His name is Gabe Ugliano.”
That man is not worthy of you, Poseidon thinks. But then again, he would never think any mortal would be worthy of Sally Jackson, queen among women.
“Why?” He asks her.
She twists the ring on her finger. Poseidon desperately wanted to take it off and throw it away. “H-his scent,” She says carefully, “It will mask Percy.”
A brilliant idea, but… “Is he a good man? Does he treat you well?”
She inhales, and Poseidon knows the answer before she says it. “No. The answer is no.”
Poseidon grimaces, the rage bubbling up inside him, begging to be freed. Sally takes his hand. “It’s the best option to protect him,” She says.
Poseidon swallows and nods. “Of course.”
~*~
The man is gone at last, killed by Medusa’s head. Poseidon made sure Hades knew that Gabe deserved the worst of punishments.
He came to visit, one final time.
Sally opens the door, surprised.
“Poseidon?” She asks softly.
He clears his throat. “How– how are you? How is,” He waves his hand, “Everything?”
She smiles. “Good,” She says. “I have a daughter, now.”
There was a small sinking feeling in his stomach. “That’s– that’s wonderful.” He croaks. “What’s her name?”
“Estelle. Estelle Blofis.”
Poseidon looks at Sally. She’s no longer Jackson. She’s a Blofis, with a young, curious daughter, a brave, bold son, and a husband who will not leave her like he did.
A queen among women deserved a family like that.
She did not deserve having to settle for Poseidon.
“I’m happy for you,” He tells her, and he means it.
He leaves, for the final time.

we never knew what friends we had
title taken from billy joel's 'leningrad'

3 & 4 y/o
"Mama!"
Sally’s head whipped around to where her son was yelling for her.
“What is it, baby?” she asked. Around them, dozens of people gazed at the sea creatures.
His green eyes were wide. “Mama, Piper’s lost. We have to help her!” As if to demonstrate that fact, he pulled a little girl, no older than Percy himself, in front of her. While not crying at the moment, she clearly had been as she had tear tracks glistening on her light brown cheeks.
“Percy-,” Sally started, then stopped, realizing there was no way she could leave a lost, helpless little girl alone in New York City. “All right.” Percy’s eyes brightened, and she sighed. “Okay, sweetheart, what’s your name? Piper?”
The little girl sniffled. “Piper McLean,” she said weakly. Poor thing, Sally thought. She really was very young, probably only three or four, and had choppy brown hair pulled into two ponytails at the base of her neck. The hand that wasn’t clutched in Percy’s was gripping an overall strap tightly, and Sally’s heart melted.
“Do you remember if your parents told you what to do if you got lost?” she asked earnestly.
Piper nodded enthusiastically. “Daddy said to stay right I am, and if he doesn’t come find me for a long time to go to the big tall table at the place we came in!”
Sally breathed a sigh of relief. So hopefully that’s where the father was.
Standing up, she took Percy’s hand in her left and Piper’s hand in her right. “Okay, guys, do not let go of my hand.”
She thanked the stars (not the gods - never the gods) that she and Percy had already been near the front of the aquarium because, and she should have predicted it, Percy wanted to stop at every damn tank.
“Mama, rainbow fish!” Percy squealed not 10 seconds after they started walking.
“Percy, come on baby, we need to get Piper to her daddy,” Sally urged.
“Mama, jellyfish!” he screamed.
“Percy, I promise we’ll come back, but we need to find Piper’s dad right now,” she said.
“Mama, shark!”
“Percy-”
“Daddy!” Before Sally could react, Piper was sprinting for a tall man who looked remarkably like Piper herself: same choppy, dark hair, same light brown skin tone, same face full of freckles.
“Baby!” the man said. He buried his head in her hair. “Thank god." He pressed her face into his chest. “Oh my god, I’m never letting go of you ever again.” Sally’s heart clenched as she watched them standing there, Piper clutched to his chest and him just breathing.
She looked down at her son, suddenly very thankful for him. Right then, she vowed never to take her baby for granted.
When Piper’s father finally looked away from his daughter, he turned to Sally and said, “Thank you so much. I don’t know what I would’ve done without you.” She stiffened as he gave her a surprise hug, Piper still held to his hip.
She spoke up. “You really should be thanking my son. He’s the one who found her.”
He pulled away and smiled. “Well, thank you anyway.” He kneeled down to look at Percy. “Thank you, too, little man!” He hugged Percy as well until the little black haired boy squirmed and tugged on Sally’s hand.
Once standing again, he stuck out his hand. “My name is Tristan McLean, and again, I cannot thank you enough.”
Sally shook his hand. “It was nothing, really. What kind of person would I be if I left a little girl all alone?” she posed. “I’m Sally Jackson, by the way, and this is Percy.” She picked him up and placed him on her hip. He was really starting to get too heavy for her to carry around.
Tristan turned to look at his daughter. “What do we say, Piper?” he prompted.
Her little face scrunched up in a smile. “Thank you!” Gods, she was adorable.
“Well, we should probably get going,” Tristan said. “I have an audition to get to, and it’s almost this one’s naptime.” He shook Piper gently, and she giggled. “Thank you again.” He turned back to Piper. “Say bye-bye, Piper!”
“Bye-bye!” she said, waving her little hand at warp speed.
“Bye!” Percy and Sally echoed.
She smiled. What a cute family.
7 & 8 y/o
“Mom, Piper’s on TV!” was what Sally woke up to on this particular Saturday morning. They were lucky Gabe was still passed out with a hangover, or he would be raging about being woken up at 7 in the morning on a weekend.
Wait. Had he said-?
“Mom, come look, Piper’s on TV!” So she had heard that right. Quickly, she walked into the living room and was shocked to see that, yes, the little girl they had rescued at the New York City Aquarium four years ago was on the 7 a.m. gossip news. Well, technically, the report was on Tristan, and it was just a grainy photo of the two of them together in the top right corner of the screen, but still. Piper was on TV.
“Actor Tristan McLean out of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, is set to play the lead role in upcoming highly anticipated Hollywood film King of Sparta directed by the popular Rob Tillman. The actor has mostly stuck to indie films in the past, so this movie could be a big opportunity for him. He also has a seven year old daughter, Piper, but don’t worry ladies; this handsome man is single and ready to mingle!”
Sally nearly vomited when the newscaster (if you could even call him that) winked at the camera. Thankfully, though, that was the end of the report, and they moved on to whatever celebrity was currently in the midst of a scandal.
Percy turned to her from the old, stained couch. “Do you think I could talk to her?” he asked, sea green eyes wide and hopeful.
She sighed, trying to figure out how to explain to him why they couldn’t just talk to a prospective celebrity’s daughter. “I don’t think so, Percy, she lives pretty far away,” was what Sally finally settled on. “We don’t know her phone number or her address. It would be difficult.”
He brightened. “But not impossible?” he said, with the baby seal eyes on full force. She just couldn’t say no to those eyes.
She sighed. “How about you write a letter to her and I’ll see if I can find the address of someone who knows them?”
“Okay!” he agreed excitedly and ran to his bedroom.
She smirked. “And now I have time to clean the living room,” she muttered to herself. “Yay.”
She only ended up getting ten minutes to clean (not nearly enough time, she thought to herself) because Percy had raced through the letter without bothering to check his spelling, though that was normal, she supposed.
Nevertheless, she sent him off to go play in his room, sat down at the kitchen table, and read her son’s letter to a possibly famous little girl.
Dear Ppier,
My name is Percy Jakcosn. Do you remmeber me? We found you at the aqarum. I saw yuo on tv toady. They asid your dad si gonna be in a movei. That’s so cool! How cmoe you were in New Yok if you live in Okaholma? My mom says Okloma is really far from New York.
From,
Percy Jackson
She chuckled to herself. Percy was really too sweet for his own good.
Just in case she actually managed to find an address, she decided to write her own letter to Tristan.
Dear Tristan,
This is Sally Jackson from the New York City Aquarium. My son and I found your daughter when she was lost a few years ago. Anyway, Percy saw you and Piper on TV, and he wanted to contact her. I’ll let you decide whether you want Piper writing and receiving letters from us.
Sincerely,
Sally Jackson
Once she was finished, she went and got Percy dressed so they could go to the library and hopefully find an address for the McLeans.
Before they left, she scribbled a note for Gabe even though she doubted he’d wake up before they got home or care that they were gone for that matter. .
Then, she helped Percy pull his coat on and tie his shoes, and they started the walk to the library.
When they got there, Sally walked them over to the circulation desk.
“Good morning!” the librarian said. She was a middle aged woman of medium height with short brown hair and thick tortoise shell glasses. Her white New York City Public Library uniform stood out starkly against her dark skin and blue jeans. She smiled. “How can I help you?”
Sally glanced at her name tag. Monica. “Hello. I was wondering if I could use a computer?”
Monica the librarian grabbed a clipboard from the underside of the desk. “Sure! Just sign here and label the date and time.”
“Thank you,” Sally said, taking the clipboard.
Monica smiled. “Be sure to check out when you’re done.” Sally nodded and filled out the sign in sheet.
Before going to the computers, she took Percy to the children’s section and set him up with some of the sea animal picture books. He still had trouble reading them, but he liked looking at the pictures. She figured she had about five minutes before his ADHD got the better of him and he’d need something else to do.
She made the most of those five minutes. By the time Percy wandered over to her computer, she had found the address of Tristan’s agent, PR manager, and public post office box. After a quick internal debate, she decided to go with the post office box. Now all they had to do was mail it.
There was a tugging on her arm. “Mom, I’m bored,” Percy whined.
“Okay, just let me sign out, and we can leave,” she told him. She quickly turned off the computer and stood, making sure to grab the addressed envelope. They made their way back to the circulation desk.
“Were you able to find what you needed?” Monica the librarian asked as she handed Sally the sign in and out sheet.
“Yes, thank you,” she answered. She was about to turn away when a flier caught her eye.
Dyslexia Support
Have you noticed your child falling behind in reading and spelling? Do they get easily frustrated while reading or writing? Have they complained that letters seem to rearrange themselves on the page?
If you answered ‘yes’ to the above questions, your child may have dyslexia, a condition that makes reading and writing especially difficult.
Starting Jan. 9, the NYC Public Library will be offering free dyslexia support for children and parents of children with dyslexia. See the circulation desk for more information.
Sally’s mind was racing. Could this be why Percy had such trouble reading? His father had mentioned his godly heritage would cause him to be slightly different from the other children, but she thought the ADHD and physical prowess was the extent.
“Is this for anyone?” She asked. Monica gave her a confused look. “Sorry, this dyslexia flier; can anyone come?”
Monica nodded. “I mean, we prefer it if you know someone with dyslexia, but yeah, it’s open to anyone.”
Sally barely dared let herself hope. After three schools in three years that couldn’t (or wouldn’t, she reminded herself) help her son, this could finally be what she was looking for.
She grabbed a flier and stuffed it in her purse. “Have a nice day!” she said to Monica.
She didn’t look up from her computer. “You, too!”
----
Roughly a month later, they received letters back from the McLeans. Percy wouldn’t let her read the one from Piper because he was, as he put it, “a big boy now and should have his own life.” Normally, that would mean he would frustrate himself trying to read the letter on his own before he came to her sulking wanting her to read it to him, but after only a couple of weeks of reading and writing lessons from the library, he was already showing signs of improvement.
She hurried to look through the rest of the mail so she could read Tristan’s letter. Bills, bills, some stuff for Gabe, and more bills.
She sat down to read the letter.
Dear Sally,
Hello, Sally! Thank you again for finding Piper for me. I am forever in your debt. I think it would be great for the kids to send letters to each other!
Tristan McLean
The signature was the kind of uber fancy and illegible script that was typically reserved for politicians and important people.
She was grateful, anyway. Percy had so much trouble finding friends; she hoped this worked out for him.
----
And so it went for about four years. Percy and Piper exchanged letters once every two months with Sally and Tristan occasionally sending each other a little note. Unfortunately, the adults’ letters petered out pretty fast since both of them were constantly working, but Percy and Piper did their best to stay in touch. However, with the strict boarding school rules and eventually Percy’s newfound demigodishness, it became too difficult, and the letters ended when Percy was 12 and Piper was 11. They never forgot each other, though.
Sally didn’t find out if Percy had told Annabeth about his famous pen pal until the winter he was 16 which also happened to be the winter Hera became her least favorite god and Piper, Leo, and Jason were taken to Camp Half-Blood. Turns out, he had told Annabeth in passing, and she’d only remembered because she found the letters in his bedroom when they were looking for clues about where he had been taken.
Piper had grown into a lovely young woman in Sally’s personal opinion, though she was rather disappointed in Tristan. He had seemed like such a devoted father at the aquarium. That’s just what fame can do to a person, she guessed.
There was a knock at the door, and she smiled. “I’ll get it!” she called to Paul. That was another thing that had changed in the years since she and Percy sent those first two letters. She couldn’t have asked for a better man for herself and her son.
On the other side of the door was Piper McLean herself along with Annabeth Chase, a friendship she was sure both girls were incredibly thankful for. She couldn’t wait to see Percy’s face when he found out his oldest friend was not only a fellow powerful demigod, but also good friends with the love of his life.
“Hi,” she greeted, stepping aside to let them into the apartment. Of course, there was the obvious question she had to address every time Annabeth came over these days. “No news I assume?”
Then she noticed the excited gleam in Annabeth’s eyes and the way she was practically vibrating. One glance at Piper showed nearly the same condition.
“Oh my god,” she breathed. “Don’t tell me-”
“We found him!” Annabeth screamed, bouncing on the balls of her feet. “Well, technically we didn’t find him, we just have a general location, but we have the ability to find him, and the ship is done, and Jason says he knows where Hera took him, and we’ve been dreaming every night-”
“Annabeth,” Piper laughed. “You’re rambling.”
The girl in question smiled sheepishly, a faint blush on her cheeks. “Sorry.”
“What she’s trying to say is we think we know where he is, and we’re gonna sail out tomorrow,” Piper explained far more calmly - but no less loudly.
Sally put her hand over her mouth. “So you mean-”
“We’re getting him back!” Annabeth yelled, unable to contain herself any longer.
The dam broke, and tears cascaded down Sally’s face. Distantly, she felt two pairs of arms come up around her, and then, a third.
My baby’s coming home.

the same type of blue. | percy jackson x daughter of hera! reader.
a / n : the history book on the shelf, is always repeating itself. and i won't shut up about how logan lerman and his wife being sally and poseidon in my head
warnings : emotional, i can't warm up to paul im sorry, sally and poseidon should've been an endgame but idek how, mentioning past, you looking like sally, crying, some of the hera cabin power mentions that i had in mind
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the moment sally jackson met you, was the moment she saw her teenage self in your eyes.
you were this funny and bubbly girl who was too nice for your own good. you had these mother instict in you that later she found out it was because of your mother being hera. you would always say what type of marriage you imagine with percy and how many kids do you want. one boy and one girl, doesn't matter who's the older. the girl was going to have percy's eyes, but the boy will have yours.
and it always put a smile on her face to listen you talk about your dreams so comfortly to her. because she saw herself in those dreams. they were once her dreams too.
percy looked and acted too much like poseidon for sally's own good. he would unknowingly make his dad's jokes, and would call you 'darling' like he did to her back then. all these little details would remind sally her past love.
it was a barbeque day for the jackson-blofis family at the montauk cabin. where you were obviously invited, and poseidon, obviously was not. he liked to show up in family gatherings once in a while, to spend some time with his son or suprisingly, estelle.
you and sally prepared the table as the boys made the meat while laughing at something. paul and poseidon had this awkward friendship that always made you giggle. and percy would chat with his biological dad more often, since he felt more comfortable with him. don't get me wrong, he loved paul. all of you loved paul. but poseidon's warm energy made him easier to talk.
you never thought you'd have a dinner with a god but here you were, eating a meal with one of the most powerful gods ever existed. poseidon was really good at making people forget that he's a god, the one that rules the seven seas.
after the dinner, percy and you started to clean the area as paul went inside to watch this new game he followed, you didn't really paid attention. sally stayed outside, smelling the sea's calming scent, her bare feet dipping in the sand.
she looked over were poseidon and estelle was playing. he made sand castles with her as he laughed like a true grandpa. it made sally chuckle too, seeing him acting all fatherly with her daughter.
"he wants to make up for it," you said, and it made sally slightly jump. you apologised while putting a hand on her shoulder. "you know, since he couldn't look out for percy and you."
sally's eyes started to water up, but she managed to crack a smile. "how do you know this?" she asked. you shrugged, "i can feel a parent's feelings, even if they're a god. weird power, i know." you chuckled at the end with her.
"he didn't had any choice," sally muttered, looking at the sea again. you nodded. "i know, but he still feels bad. he really loves you sally, still like the first time." your whispering words made sally want to breakdown right then and there, but she only sighed.
"baby!" percy called behind you, smiling like a little kid. you both turned around as you made your way to percy, giggling. once again, it reminded sally the good times. but she wasn't alone this time, poseidon could also see the similarities between them. how you had sally's hair back then like how she used it, and how percy was a literal copy of himself.
sally sat next to poseidon as he sat there silently, watching his son and his girlfriend chase eachother around the beach, just like he and sally did. estelle was asleep in his arms, the calm energy he radiated making the girl fall asleep immediatly.
"they're just like us." poseidon whispered, not looking at the woman he still loved. sally smiled, not that he would see. "yeah. but a better version." she responded.
"one that ends happily unlike us." he agreed, too afraid to look in her eyes. sally didn't said anything, and the past lovers watched their son having the time of his life with the girl he loved.
suddenly percy lifted you up on his shoulders and ran into the water with you, still being clothed. you whined the moment you swimmed up. "percy it's not fair!" you yelled at him between your giggles.
"m' wet too baby, see? there's nothing unfair in this!" percy laughed with her, hugging her waist tightly so that she won't slip away.
"you used to do that too," sally whispered to poseidon, smile hurting her cheeks at this point. poseidon mimicked her facial expressions as he nodded quickly.
"and you would always whine like her." he chuckled, making the woman laugh along with him.
percy stepped out from the water with the help of the waves, still holding you in his arms in bridal style. while he made his way into the cabin, he spinned you around once in a while to make you laugh.
"he's really your son." sally chuckled, watching the couple enter the cabin.
"he's our son." poseidon corrected. he finally faced the woman, and saw the tears perking in her eyes through a smile. this was sally jackson, the woman he loved the most. smiling through everything.
he made the tears go away with a flick of his hand, too afraid to touch her. "a proof that our love was real, not a dream i had."

ya'll know how percy gets all awkward and weird whenever Poseidon very obviously flirts and compliments Sally infront of him? Well, after meeting Paul and seeing that he worships Sally just as much as he does, he starts flirting with Paul too. Usually, just infront of Percy to see him squirm, but with some permission from Amphitrite, he starts doing it for real.
I am a Sally/Paul/Poseidon/Amphitrite poly truther and I will not be silenced.

[This is the oc Evan (short for Evander). I do not own this image.]
=
[Basic information]
Name: Evander "Evan" Jackson
Gender: male
Age: 18
Alias: Son of Poseidon, Δολοφόνος του Θεού (Greek for God Slayer), Seaweed Brain (by Tim), The Lost Hero (and many more but I don't feel like adding them)
Family:
Poseidon (father)
Sally Jackson (mother)
Percy Jackson (younger twin brother)
Tim Drake ([future] boyfriend)
Gabe Ugliano (former step-father)
Paul Blofis (step-father)
Amphitrite (step-mother)
Estelle Blofis (maternal half-sister)
Bianca di Angelo, Nico di Angelo, Thalia Grace, Jason Grace (paternal cousin)
Height: 6'5
Hair: Black
Eyes: Sea Green
Species: Demigod
Items: Aetherius (daggers and twin swords he creates/materializes out of thin air, burns anyone hands who touch it other than him) and Anaklusmos (Greek for Riptide) (an exact copy of Percy's sword Riptide, however technically Evan had this type of sword first)
=
[Appearance]
Evan looks just like his twin brother except he's taller, a little more mature looking, and much more fit, lean, and muscular. He has tan skin, disheveled, jet-black hair with a white streak swept to one side as “if he just took a walk to the beach” and sea-green eyes, which he inherited from his father and grandmother. He also has a sarcastic, mischievous smile much like Percy. Evan gets his handsome looks from his father, a reason why. He doesn't seem to know it or may simply refuse to acknowledge it, but a great number of girls find him extremely attractive.
He also has markings on his back that look like tattoos
Tumblr media
[Just like in this image which I do not own]
=
[Personality]
- Evan has been described as "too changeable, unpredictable" in nature. Evan is a very kind-hearted, brave-spirited, natural leader. Many people tell him he is brave, such as friends, family, strangers, and even gods. He has the same "brooding" look as his father, which always had him branded as a rebel; his mother has a rebellious streak just like him. Evan is characterized by his sarcastic, smart sense of humor, and laid-back demeanor. Tim mentions that he is actually quite smart but seems to act dumb.
- In contrast to his laid-back demeanor and rebellious behavior, Evan has been shown to be very focused, mature, reserved and reasonable, but also extremely stoic and pragmatic. He doesn't frequently lose her temper and speaks calmly with others. He tends to be aloof and indifferent.
- He can be derisively sarcastic and moody, especially when someone tries to manipulate him or forces him to obey. He does not like to follow rules, as shown when he escapes camp to go on many quests and when he bowed to Poseidon before Zeus. Unlike many heroes, Evan isn't very reckless nor tends to do or blurt out things before thinking, causing him to get into a lot of trouble. He's calculating in every move he makes. He likes to change what he does in the moment to put his opponents off and make them vulnerable so he can easily attack. This may seem reckless, but he thinks of this beforehand (most think he's a child of Athena because of this). He's also very sassy nicknamed "The King of Sass". He also likes to spite Zeus and does as he pleases.
- According to his friends back at camp, Evan is obtuse, meaning he doesn't always see the obvious even when it is right in front of him, such as people's feelings and what they are trying to say indirectly. Despite this he is perceptive when he needs to be. He is much like his brother in this sense.
-Evan is fearless and terrifying. The Gods, including Zeus, fear this dangerous side of him. He didn't earn the nickname Δολοφόνος του Θεού (Greek for God Slayer) for nothing. However, he tends to try and hide this side of him until necessary and remain lighthearted and optomistic. He is someone to not mess with and no monster, God, or Titan wishes to cross paths with him.
=
[Fatal flaw]
-Evan has two fatal flaws, excessive personal loyalty much like his twin. He would risk the world and even his own life to save his friends and family. He sometimes saves strangers or enemies simply because he empathizes with them. He's a ride-or-die person. When Evan protests that personal loyalty isn't all that bad, Athena says "The most dangerous flaws are good in moderation".
=
[General abilities]
ADHD: Evan's supernatural alertness and keen senses that keep him ready for, and alive, in battle. It also lets him analyze his opponents fighting style as well as pick up minor details about an opponent, such as where their muscles tense so he can tell which direction they will attack from.
Dyslexia: Evan's brain is "hard-wired" for reading divine Ancient Greek instead of mortal languages.
Swordsmanship: Evan is a naturally talented swordsman. His skills continue to grow as time passes, capable of holding his own against and defeating larger, more experienced, and more powerful opponents, including several monsters and Ares, and many other gods, although they had underestimated Evan. He was able to disarm and beat Percy within second, who's said to be the best swordman at Camp-Half Blood in the last three hundred years. His swordsmanship has lead him to be able to kill hundreds of monsters, a few titans, and a few Gods (most sent after him by Zeus).
Dreams: Like most demigods, Evan had dreams that showed him events occurring in the past, present, and future. However, due to his father's unpredictable nature and raw power, Evan's dreams are a lot more potent than those of other demigods. He has managed to view the dealings of fellow demigods like Percy and Hercules; gods such as Hades; and ancient beings like Kronos himself, something that was proclaimed was impossible.
Superhuman Durability: Being a demigod son of one of the Big Three, Evan is more durable than regular humans and fellow demigods. He shook off a hard kick in the chest from Ares, speedily recovered from a dodgeball thrown by a Giant, brushed off from a whack in the chest by a giant, shook off hard hits from the Titan Atlas, and withstood a hard blow from Kronos without the Curse of Achilles.
Superhuman Strength: Being a demigod son of one of the Big Three, Evan is considerably stronger than a regular mortal and demigod. He can strangle a snake when he was a toddler, rip out the Minotaur's horn, topple a seemingly insurmountably strong Polyphemus, snap a electric spear "like a twig", knock out demigods with one hit, and force the tip of Porphyrion's spear into the ground while the giant was running, causing the giant's own momentum to flip himself over. He had even held on a ledge, while supporting Tim's and his own weight with just his fingers, without much discomfort.
Superhuman Reflexes: Being a demigod son of one of the Big Three, Evan's reflexes are faster than a regular human. He was able to cut a volley of arrows in half in and deflect a bullet that can travel 1,700 miles per hour, even though he could barely see the bullet.
Superhuman Agility: Being a demigod son of one of the Big Three, Evan is more agile than a regular mortal. He was able to leap on the huge Minotaur neck, dodge several slashes from Ares, and climb up to Anteaus' head in a matter of seconds.
Wit: Evan is quite intelligent in his own right. He skillfully capitalizes on his surroundings and his opponent's weaknesses when he cannot overwhelm them directly. This has been shown numerous times, such as when he tricked [________] into his own technique and [___________] into walking into a pressurized tide, when he tricked Zeus into revealing information to him, he even managed to outwit Athena in a battle and beat her easily.
Leadership: Evan has great leadership abilities which is noted multiple times by many different people with Evan showing himself to be a natural leader from a young age.
Archery: Unlike his twin, Evan is excellent at archery never missing a target. He was able to beat Zoë in an archery contest by hitting the target perfectly (a bullseye). He once beat Artemis in a contest who's said to never miss a target. Zoë and Artemis never felt bitter about it.
Intimidation: Evan has mastered the "Wolf Stare" that says "No matter how bad you think you are, I'm worse," which is so intimidating it allows him to scare off gangsters.
Will Power: Evan is shown to have great willpower as he held up the weight of the sky for a long period time and endured the sufferings of Tartarus much like his twin, however he did these feats by himself without any god to assist him (how did he manage to get himself in a situation where he has to hold the sky is beyond me).
Latin: Although a Greek demigod, Evan has shown at least a limited affinity for Latin, a language that is more closely affiliated with the Romans.

[Demigod abilities]
As a son of Poseidon, Evan is an extremely powerful individual and one of the most powerful demigods. The only other demigods whose powers rival his are his twin, Thalia Grace, Nico di Angelo and Jason Grace. He has fought and defeated many monsters probably more than any other demigod, including other demigods, gods, and Titans. On more than one occasion, Evan has contributed to the salvation of Olympus and the world as a whole.. He's even managed to fight off pursuers of Zeus and spited him on many occasions without being hard to badly, a broken rip or two and a leg at most.
Hydrokinesis: Evan can control great volumes of water to a very high degree, lifting 10,000 gallons of water in. He can dry himself and items (such as a lighter) underwater as long as he holds onto it, extract water from petrified seashells, create oxygen bubbles underwater for people who cannot breathe underwater, propel himself through water, summon waves that can easily sink ships, as well as control water in order to make it explode or use it to grab something. Percy's skill allowed him to temporarily contend with [_______] even while he was unfamiliar with his powers. However, he has a harder time controlling the rivers of the Underworld, particularly while in a weakened state. He managed to lift the River Lethe, In a moment of rage, Percy causes Elisson's river to explode outwards away from him in every direction. Evan had reached outward to the source of the river deep down in the Underworld or maybe Yonkers and pulled it up by its roots. As a result, millions of metric tons of water roar through the cavern, flood the pool, scour the cliffs, surge over the riverbanks and probably surprise a whole bunch of snakes bathing downstream before flooding back in around Percy. However, Evan inadvertently cleans the river and its surroundings in the process to the point that the river god didn't even know he had so much water pressure before. He has been known to cause hurricanes in anger as well.
Water Solidification: Evan can harden water into an almost solid shape by increasing the surface tension of the water. He can use this power to walk on water and create a strong water shield and trident, and on two instances, he hardened the water into giant hands that followed and imitated the movements of his own hands.
Hydrogenesis: Evan can create water from his own power by summoning the "force of the ocean" inside of him as long as he concentrates hard enough, though it takes much of his energy for him to do so. He learned this ability from a Naiad. At Mount Saint Helens, he created water to cause a volcanic eruption, which was powerful enough to cause half a million people to evacuate and cause ash to fall as far as Lake Tahoe and Vancouver. He later used this skill while creating his own personal hurricanes in the Battle of Manhattan. He's created powerful storms and hurricanes.
Tsunamis and Tidal Waves: He can unleash gigantic tsunamis and tidal waves like his father.
Water Empowerment: When in contact with or in the presence of water, Evan gains a disproportionate amount of superhuman clarity, strength, speed, agility, and endurance. While in this state, he was strong enough to snap a electric spear "like a twig", effortlessly defeated children of Ares in rapid succession with ease, and shear off a portion of [___________] shield and sword.
Water Immunity: If he falls from great heights into water, Evan will be unaffected by any amount of water pressure. He doesn't get wet if submerged in water unless he wants to. Additionally, Evan can breathe underwater for unlimited amounts of time and see in the darkness underwater. He is only unable to breathe in the River Styx. Evan had to actively concentrate to use this power underwater in the River Lethe, either because of his injuries, the river's innate power or both. Evan notes that the small effort of staying dry - something that he had done countless times in normal water - was almost more than he could handle.
Toxikinesis (limited): Evan can control poisons and other liquids to a certain degree as they have water content in them. His most popular display of this ability was in Tartarus, where he was able to bend poison that was used against him by Akhlys.
Cryokinesis (limited): Evan can use cryokinesis to a small degree. He can manipulate frozen or icy water around him.
Vitakinesis (limited): Evan can heal most wounds and cure most poisons when in contact with water, the amount of water and time needed for the healing being proportionate to the severity of the wound. However, this is limited as he couldn't cure Pit Scorpion venom and nearly died from it.
Heat Immunity (limited): Evan has a higher-than-normal resistance to heat burns, due to his father's nature. He managed not to drop his sword when Alecto wrapped her fiery whip around his wrist. He was able to survive being engulfed by lava thrown by the telekhines (though it began to get more painful the longer he was in contact with it) and not being killed by the super-heated steam from the Mount Saint Helens' eruption.
Watercraft Manipulation: Evan possesses an intimate awareness of any ship he is on (sailing ships, canoes, motorboats, possibly submarines) and can telekinetically operate one, although he has so far only shown control over sailing vessels and similar boats. Evan, even while amnesic, he is able to control the a rowboat in this manner, displaying a few new aspects to the ability including magically cleaning the boat by commanding a piece of steel wool similar to how he can command a ship's rigging and sails. By the end of the journey, Evan's willpower is the only thing keeping the boat together and it eventually falls apart after they abandon ship.
Perfect Bearings: Evan always know his exact nautical coordinates wherever he is, which allow him to easily navigate his way at sea.
Instinctive Understanding of Sailing: Evan discovers that he has an instinctive understanding of sailing, letting him know which ropes to hoist, which sails to raise and which direction to steer. He could even detect that they are moving at about ten knots and understand just how fast that is.
Atmokinesis (limited): Evan has limited control over weather. He can summon storms, such as large hurricanes. His hurricanes were powerful enough to extinguish the fires on Hyperion's body and leave the powerful Titan vulnerable to attack. However, while he has better control and is more powerful than his brother with this ability he is still limited, and his power drains him over time.
Aerokinesis (limited): Evan has limited control over the wind. He can summon strong winds, which allow him to create large hurricanes.
Geokinesis (limited): Evan has utilized water to alter the earth around him. Unlike his brother, he has some earthshaking abilities like his father but it's not very powerful as he can only create small earthquakes at most.
Communication: Evan has divine authority over his father's subjects. He can talk (normally and telepathically) to equines and sea creatures who mainly treat him with deference and lordly respect. He can also speak to other children of Poseidon underwater such as Percy.
Zoolingualism (limited): Evan can understand and talk to marine animals, equines and similar creatures, who mainly treat him with deference and lordly respect.

Magical abilities
Mist Control (limited): Though he can indeed control the Mist, Percy isn't an expert and his power over the Mist is inferior compared to those of children of Hecate and Hazel. Chiron told Percy he would teach him how to manipulate the Mist in The Lightning Thief, but still hadn't by the time of The Titan's Curse. Percy once tried to manipulate the Mist after he watched Thalia do it. However, the mortal he tried it on could see through the Mist. Years later in Percy Jackson and the Singer of Apollo, Percy managed to make a police officer look at an imaginary line of limos to distract him.
Mystiokinesis (limited): Mystiokinesis is the ability to cast and manipulate magic, for example: creating snow, changing the weather, turning other people into animals, etc. Thus, giving it control over everything and everyone. He isn't skilled in it like Hecate and her children but was gifted some form of control over it by Hecate at a young age.

Magical items
Anaklusmos: A Celestial Bronze sword otherwise known as Riptide. It is usually kept as a ballpoint pen when not in use and will always return to the user's pocket. When uncapped, it becomes a 3 foot tall double-edged sword and causes the fear of most monsters around it. When combined with Evan's hydrokinetic powers, Anaklusmos became an "arc of pure destruction."
Aetherius: Celestial bronze daggers and swords, even shields but mainly swords and daggers, that he materializes out of thin air, burns anyone hands who touch it other than him. When mixed with his hydrokinetic powers they too become weapons of pure destruction.
Trident: Evan owns a trident made out of both water and celestial bronze that he summons. They are extremely durable and powerful, especially when mixed with his powers.

[FACTS]
-Evan short for Evander which is Greek origin and means "good man". He is named after Evander, a hero in both Greek and Roman mythology. He is said to have founded the city of Pallantium in Italy, which would one day become Rome.
-He has imposter syndrome. He is probably the most powerful demigod, but Evan always says otherwise. It's either imposter syndrome or humbleness.
-He discovered his powers at the age of six years old. He managed to convince his mother to take him to camp-half blood because it was the only safe place for him and as much as she didn't want to, she knew she had too. He managed to use the mist in order to make Gabe forget him and used Mystiokinesis to make Percy forget him until the time was right, the only person remembering him was Sally.
-He went missing a year before Percy got to camp.
-Before he left for camp-half blood he had a dream of meeting Percy when he was 18 (that was the right time, but he didn't dream of how).
-He is a top, that's all you need to know for now.
[That's all for now, enjoy]
