What would you rename Robinwing Fuzzypelt and Rainfur all from Thunderclan?

Robinwing is a dusky brown molly with a ginger chest, which is not a real color, so I’ll meet in the middle and say she’s red-brown. There’s not much to name her for, so -fur or -pelt are our only options as suffixes. For prefix, Robin- requires a white belly, which she doesn’t have, so that’s gotta go. Maybe Rowanfur or Russetpelt?

Fuzzypelt also does not have much to be named for. I named him Blackpelt in the Redux, but we could do Sedgepelt or Sheeppelt to bring that imagery his original name has. 

Rainfur has a nice name, but her pelt is totally inappropriate for it - she’s ginger with white flecks (which I’ll just assume she has vitiligo and move on). She too is only really a candidate for -fur or -pelt. As for her prefix, I like Pear- or Honey-. They just sound cute. Pearpelt or Honeyfur, then.

Phineas and Ferb Warrior Cat Names

Ok so I’m actually using a naming guide this time.

Phineas: Russetpelt. 

Ferb: Birchroot. I think he’d be named after a plant. Though since green isn’t a natural fur color he’d most likely be brown.

Candace: Redstorm.

Isabella: Lilyshine. She’s got a bright personality.

Buford: Stonefall. 

Baljeet: Beetlefrost. The Baljeatles. Beetles. Get it?

Linda: Sorrelflower. Though she doesn’t usually know what her kits get up too...

Lawrence: Ripplecloud. Ok this one gave me issues. His head is in the clouds though. 

Heinz: Panthertail. I can’t use Ocelot unfortunately. 

Vanessa: Nightfang. “Cute black kitten with a nasty bite.”

Monogram: Whitewhisker. 

Carl: Copperfur. Cause he’s red.

Roger: Eaglestar. Well an eagle is the king of birds. His mom would probably give him a really majestic name.

Guest Warriors-ify: Treasure Planet.

Jim Hawkins – Shrewtail – An agile gray-brown short haired tabby tom that’s on the smaller side and has blue eyes. He’s a very enthusiastic cat who means well, but who also has problems with living up to the warrior code and can be impulsive at times. His father was a loner who left Shrewtail and his mother Briarface when he still was very young, and he’s struggled to cope with abandonment ever since.

John Silver – Boulderclaw – A large brown short haired tom who is missing his right eye, the other eye is yellow. He also has numerous scars from previous battles. He is very intimidating and ambitious, and a lot of cats distrust him because of that. However, he’s developed a friendship with Shrewtail and cares for him deeply.

Dr. Doppler – Otterpelt – A skinny dark brown short haired tom with copper eyes. He was initially set to become a medicine cat, but ended up becoming a warrior instead. He can be anxious at times, but he’s intelligent, skilled and brave in his own right. He’s also close friends with Briarface.

Sarah Hawkins – Briarface – A pretty brown short haired tabby she-cat with blue eyes. She’s Shrewtail’s mother who is struggling to balance her clan responsibilities with taking care of her son. She thinks he can be a mouthful at times, but she’s nonetheless a very kind and loving mother.

Captain Amelia – Hollystar (Hollyfang) – A dark ginger short haired she-cat with brown eyes. She’s a very skilled leader who tends to use big words, but she’s also very playful. Sometimes she might push herself and her duties as leader too far, though.

Mr. Arrow – Cindernose – A large light grey short haired tabby tom with golden eyes. He’s Hollystar’s deputy, and despite his intimidating appearance, he’s friendly and outgoing. He has the outmost respect for Hollystar and aims to protect her at all costs.

Scroop – Foxclaw – A skinny ginger short haired tom with yellow eyes. He’s a very threatening and aggressive cat who wants to take over the clan, and he also has a vendetta against Shrewtail.

B.E.N. - Russetpelt – A dark reddish-brown short haired tom with copper eyes. He was originally from another clan, but got exiled and doomed to live as a loner before he stumbled upon Shrewtail and got to join his clan. Because he is a very social cat who got isolated for a long time, he tends to be really loud and get attached to others quickly.

Dovelight (Noella):

‘Dove’ because of how she’s very bubbly and peace-loving; also, doves remind me of plumpness, and doves are also reminiscent of generosity. She’s also very indulgent and motherly, which ties in with the dove imagery. Some time ago, she was Mosslight, because we thought she was an introvert; but honestly, she’s very upbeat, chatty, and bubbly. ‘Light’ because she’s soft, comforting, wise and kind.

Sootwhisker (Jacob):

‘Soot’ because he’s very soft and quiet, and he likes to keep to the shadows. ‘Whisker’ because: 1) it’s a plain suffix, as compared to stuff like ‘-leap’, ‘-heart’, etc., which reflects his unassuming and practical nature, 2) reflects his sensitivity.

Emberstripe (Emily):

Okay, this is a bit of a cop-out because ‘ember’ has the same first syllable as Emily. But other than that, Emily is very fiery, passionate, and spirited, and yet softer and less harsh than other fire names like “fire-”, “flame-”, etc. So “ember” it is. “Stripe” because 1) it’s a more practical suffix and she’s a practical person, 2) it’s reminiscent of her breezy nature and how fast-moving she is.

Russetpelt (Nova):

‘Russet’ for her coat color, because it’s more elegant than ‘Red’. Also, russet is a color that really reminds me of her. ‘Pelt’ because it’s a practical, no-nonsense suffix (she’s not likely to have a fancy name), and (this is debatable, but) it sounds more elegant than ‘fur’.

Brambleflame (Theo):

“Bramble” for 1) his tsundere/act-tough facade, 2) for his sharp, antagonistic, dismissive, and mocking exterior. “Flame” for how passionate, feisty, spirited, young, and bright he could be.

Bluefur (Gal):

Most practical, literal, and no-nonsense name ever (just like him). He has a blue-gray coat, so >> Bluefur.

Squirrelpelt (Ayla):

Her fur color is red, so ‘squirrel’. Also, she’s energetic, scattered, inquisitive, and impulsive, like what squirrels appear to be.

Birchwing (Icarus):

“Birch” because the reference to wood is reminiscent of how you can count on Icarus to be there to quietly support you and cheer you on. Also, birches are spiritually important to several cultures; one of the common meanings is that it symbolizes growth and renewal, which is reminiscent of Icarus because 1) birch is about abstract meaning rather than practical meaning, and he is a head-in-the-clouds kind of person, 2) growth and renewal are what he wishes to do (Fi-Ne). ‘Wing’ because they are symbolic of soaring/flying, so again, it’s about the abstract. In a way, it’s a promise to him – that he can soar and fly.

Larkfeather (Hal):

“Lark” because it’s a small songbird, which brings to mind her wistfulness and idealism. “Feather” because it references how she is soft and quiet, and how dreamy she can be.

Oakheart (Pan):

“Oak” because oaks are common symbols of strength and endurance, which suits Pan, because he has perseverance and strength of will. “Heart” because despite how intimidating and aloof he appears, he is principled and he chooses to adhere to his moral code. “Heart” also because he is caring and loyal with loved ones. It’s also symbolic, because he used to be Oakclaw, but now he’s Oakheart – which in some ways reflects how he chose morality (heart) over brute strength or power (claw).

Bluestep (Morrigan):

“Blue” for her coat color (blue-gray) and because dark blue reminds me of her. “Step” because it is reminiscent of gracefulness, elegance, and delicacy, which are adjectives that describe her.

Cinderfur (Odette):

Another practical, straightforward, and self-explanatory name, which suits Odette’s blunt and practical nature.

Unfinished drabble

When Dawnstar announced that she would be the next deputy, Russetpelt felt an intense sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. This was what she had been working hard for. This was where she could best use her strengths.

Bluestep had been one of the first to congratulate her. She had accepted the well wishes graciously. She was satisfied. She knew she was best suited for a leadership position, and actualizing it was as cathartic as she had imagined.

But that night, she remembered Emberstripe. They had met when she had been a newly made warrior. She had been restless, wanting something, but not knowing what she wanted. She was an exceptionally strong swimmer, and so she had spent most of her free time swimming to the furthest reaches of SilverClan territory and beyond; exploring territory, training herself, and challenging herself. Seeking as much knowledge as she could. She had not trespassed into other Clans’ territories, but she had ventured into territory unclaimed by any Clan.

And it was on one of those trips that she met Emberstripe. She had been surprised, but she had been indifferent to her. But at the next Gathering, Emberstripe sought her out. She had been bold, friendly, and unique. Russetpelt had been amused. The next time she saw Emberstripe approaching her, she let it happen. She responded to her overtures as a test, wanting to see what Emberstripe would do.

And unnoticed by the both of them, they had started becoming close. Very close. Russetpelt had always known she was not interested in tom cats. But this – this had grown out of her control and without her notice. She never expected to feel so fond of Emberstripe.
