The young American couturier creating Surrealist fashion for the modern era

Daniel Roseberry has had a few brushes with history since becoming the first American to lead a French couture house, including designing Lady Gaga's outfit for the US presidential inauguration.

Couture Magazine Just as expected, the Schiaparelli haute couture fall/winter 2021-2022 collection is eccentric, edgy and unforgettable. In this haute couture collection, a wild incorporation of fabrics and metals to create truly spectacular pieces of couture.

Creative director of Schiaparelli Daniel Roseberry very frequently managed to capture the zeitgeist with every collection. In the spirit of Elsa Schiaparelli, who always mingled with contemporary artists like Salvador Dali or Man Ray to create designs that, to this day, are the epitome of the crossover between fashion and surrealism. This fall/winter haute couture collection themed "The Matador" is Roseberry's fourth couture collection. The collection is an allusion to his own inner struggle to rebel against nostalgia and the simple joys of beauty. Turns out that sometimes you have to rebel against exactly what you want in order to really understand it.
