Hi! As someone who started watching during S7 and saw your tags, I thought I’d give some perspective on what the fandom was like during that period 😂 For me personally, I lost most of my hope for Gallavich endgame after 7x11. The Mexico send off just seemed very final to me and that hope decreased even more when they announced they were bringing Trevor back in S8. (Luckily that relationship ended up having no depth but lmao). Most of us started hoping again for endgame after S8 when Cam announced he was leaving the show in early S9. We didn’t know if we’d actually see Mickey again but we were crossing our fingers that they’d write Ian off by sending him to Mexico for off-screen endgame. And then Mickey appeared in 9x06 and the fandom exploded.

Everything went into turmoil again later when Cam was announced to be coming back for S10 but Noel hadn’t been yet. (I guess they were still negotiating his contract?) We were afraid Ian would be let out of prison and Mickey would not, and that it would be S6 all over again. But then Shameless pulled a twitter stunt where they pretended a fan hacked their official twitter account to announce Mickey’s S10 return. (I suggest you look that incident up if you hadn’t heard of it. It was a pretty epic social media stunt). And it was all very wild lol.

Basically, this ship put me through the ringer. But I still probably had it easier than the people who watched 5x12 and 6x01 live 💀

First of all oh my god! This is all I wanted! I need to know how this felt.

Losing all hope for a gallavich end game was probably so fucking sad. Like, I know I only started watching shameless for them, and I guess for most people it wasn't the case, but still! The fucking heartbreak oh my god. I cried at 5x12 but I KNEW they got married, so I held it together. Y'all are strong as fuck.

WAIT WHAT MEDIA STUNT? I need more information!!! does anybody have screenshots? links? I need to see it all RIGHT NOW! I'm going to lose it!

I bet they were trying to really squeeze all the publicity they could get because bring back noel was a fandom demand as far as I heard. (obviously he wanted to be back too, but I heard the fandom fought for it to be possible)

Honestly I feel like I missed so much for joining so late (also with no hope for more content) but at least I didn't have my heart broken to piece a billion times. I mean, I did, but I knew it was temporary.

🌷Hi, Ivy! I got confused a bit because I just checked their ao3 profile a week or two ago (I was in the mood to re-read Witches’ Brew 🔥 and the Blue Raspberry series) and they still have their profile up. But I also noticed them orphaning some of their old fics (like the Jimin Demon AU) because I just saw it in my bookmark lists as “orphaned”.

Their pseud is strawbxxymilk (without ‘r’’) and maybe this is why it’s hard to find their ao3.

here's a bit of a teaser ;)

"Master Jung…?" Hoseok snapped his head around so fast it likely cricked his neck, looking at Wong in confusion. He realized he was expected to have an answer; he had approximately three seconds to respond before he seemed incompetent to his men. He racked his brain for what had been discussed just a moment ago and remembered Sang going on about police crackdowns and arrested skins.

"I don't give a damn about the police. Complain to my father enough and he'll handle it." He spoke rapidly, looking the group of men over. That seemed to be the right answer. "We'll remind those pigs who's really in charge here and dispose of any that refuse to cooperate."

There was a murmur of agreement as Hoseok finished speaking. He looked over at Dong who seemed pleased with the answer. Hoseok let out a breath he hadn't even realized he had been holding.

“I’ve had enough of this.” He spoke loudly, attention turning to him. "We're taking a break. Go for a smoke or a piss or whatever it is you do." There were looks of annoyance and confusion on the faces of the men at the table, but he couldn’t care any less even if he wanted to. When no one made a move to leave he shouted "Out! Out out out!" He watched as the men jumped to their feet, scrambling to get out of the room. It was by no means ordinary to adjourn in the middle of a meeting and Hoseok knew it. He had sat in enough of the wretched things with his father and Dong to be aware of this. He looked over at Dong who gave him a quizzical look. Hoseok stood and paced to the window, looking out it with his arms held behind his back.

"That one there, with the blond hair and pinstripe suit. Who is that?" He asked as he gestured at the male he had previously been observing. Dong squinted at the man for a moment before sharing his head.

"I'm not sure Master Jung. I expect he's a tribute." Dong replied, still studying the blond.

"No name? What about who brought him?" Hoseok asked, desperately wanting an answer. Dong just frowned and shook his head once more.

"I'm afraid I haven't a clue."

"Well, I guess I'll just have to go see for myself." Hoseok replied as if it was the most normal thing in the world, when in reality that couldn't be further from the truth. He had never once seen his father take interest in a new blood and act on it. Hoseok realized he didn't actually care though. He left the elder in stunned silence as he slammed the heavy oak door open. The right men were all flustered around the door waiting to be let back in. A few were smoking cigarettes and Hoseok even noticed Sang had pulled a flask out and was sipping from it. He kept his head held high as he passed by, not stopping to look at any of them.

After a moment Hoseok burst through the large wooden double doors into the courtyard. The November air was cold enough to knock the breath out of him and cause him to want to curl up into himself. He couldn't do that, couldn't show that weakness though. All heads whipped around to look at his dramatic entrance as he stride towards where the blind was last seen. All eyes fell to the ground and one of the men shuffled to the side out of Hoseok way. He spotted the blond and stopped right in front of him. It took him a moment to realize that Hoseok wanted to speak with him and his eyes dropped to the ground, an embarrassed flush creeping over his face.
