she was just a child.... a lonely child that not even the other children liked her because of her devil fruit powers....a lonely child that her own mother let her to be with people that do not give a fuck about her at the age of 2....her first and only friend for years died in front of her....her mother died after they finally reunited.....this is so fucking cruel.
My brother's dog, our family's first dog, Shado, passed away today. The vet discovered she had cancer on at least 3 organs from what they could tell. It already spread, so there was nothing they could do. There was fluid in her abdomen already that they highly suspected was blood, and they could have ruptured at any moment causing her a lot of pain as she bled out, so we had to make the difficult decision to put her down before it got worse to prevent any further unnecessary discomfort. She went peacefully surrounded by family. She was the best girl, she'll be missed dearly. Prayers for our family at this time are appreciated 🖤
When I was a kid my family pretended to get raptured so I would think I was left behind on earth while they all went to heaven.
I was like 8 years old and my sister and mom had gotten really into the Left Behind novels (bible fan fic about the rapture). In the books when the rapture happened the clothes that people were wearing when they got raptured were left behind in neatly folded piles.
One day when I was getting home from school my family decided that they would leave piles of neatly folded clothes around the house, and then hide in the basement.
The intended effect was that I would get home and see the clothes then, think that my family had been raptured and that I wasn’t good enough to get into heaven… or something?
The problem was that I had never read these books, and didn’t really think about the rapture very often. There was no reason that I would see some laundry on the floor and think “The rapture happened and I’ve been abandoned by God! I’ll never see my family again!! Oh nooo!!!!”
I just sat down and watched cartoons and eventually my family got bored and revealed that they were all hiding in the basement.
It’s a good thing I didn’t understand the joke, otherwise that shit would have been traumatic.
Crocodile finds a strange stray cat an 11-year old Nico Robin
(AU where they met 13 years earlier. Robin's been on the run from the World Government for 3 years. Crocodile's 27 and has not set up base in Alabasta yet)
It seems like I have become possessed. By some sort of demon.
Getting another batch of the rainbow fabric worked on as of 1/5/24, going to use this batch to make a bunch more of the little zipper bags and some new *experiments* I'm hoping turn out cool!
Have some loom ASMR!
If you have weaving questions, leave them on this post and I'll do a video at the loom answering the best I can!
I will always make it my mission to remind people that Tim was actually 13 when he first became robin I refuse to let this boy get away with being infantalised further
