-HES SO FUCKING SASSY IN THE BOOK! it’s so fun. he’s much more of a leader in the book and he’s really cool. Bossy too, but in the way where his character has depth and isn’t just annoying. Also he’s not a fucking dumbass! In the movie, he’s all like “georgie isn’t dead, he’s missing :(((“ but in the book he’s like “this fucking clown murdered my brother, time to go get my revenge” he’s just so much better but honestly not the one I have the most beef with

-oh, you mean to tell me in the book he actually has a character? he’s not just there for no reason? WHAT AN INTERESTING CONCEPT! too bad the movie decided not to keep it. He’s an icon in the book, smart and controlled and understanding of the world and the cycle. In the movie, Ben is the one who talks about derrys history, but Mike takes that role in the book, something much more befitting of his character imo. In the movie, especially the 2nd, he’s a raving, frantic maniac who has lost his mind after staying in Derry for so long. This isn’t his character at all in the book. He actually knows what he’s doing and is the most measured out of all the losers [also in the book he almost fucking dies lmao]

-I have mixed feelings about Bev’s character tbh. Her character in the book isn’t the best, due to ✨sexism✨, and on the surface she seems a lot cooler in the movie BUT HERES THE THING they basically took Richie’s book character and gave it to her. The whole bravery thing, sticking with bill, etc etc THAT WAS RICHIE!!!! THAT WAS HIS CHARACTER!!!! HE WAS BILLS RIGHT HAND MAN!!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!

He’s almost worse than Richie. almost. In the book he’s both athletic and really good with directions, but in the movie he’s neither of these things. He’s pathetic, but he’s not a wimp. Shadowheart def deserved more cute assist lines. Yeah, they all deserve causal flirting. Wyll and Karlach are the cutest!

Bending things for canon is really so entertaining.

AA would really be an ass bout it but would take you back. He does say he misses Tav in epilogue. He is still pretty obsessed. Also there was another thing that says he thinks about Tav a lot but is too prideful to seek them out:

Asty and SH having Tav as a shared ex would be so crazy. Them being like ‘We’re so happy without Tav’ (at first. Pettiness) . Then them being ‘surprise pikachu face’ when they actually do get over Tav and fall for each other.

Asty would be like why did this happen again (his track record of accidentally falling for Tav before). He’d be extremely possessive and extra. Definitely would be like ‘You won’t be getting rid of me ever, Jen.’.

Both are will try and avoid making the same mistakes.

Batstarion shenanigans and him just being even more chaotic and silly and just trying to accompany her ‘undercover’ though it’s like it’s a dead giveaway and everyone’s ‘that’s your vampire boo isn’t it?’.

Also the trying to be suave and being silly and caught off.

Astarion would have a rivalry with Shar in a way ngl. He’s like that’s my girl just so we’re clear. Vampire Bride! Dark Justiciar! SH would be soooo extra. SH would find a way to keep power over him too somehow. A and SH would have a super back and forth, push and pull dynamic. They’d really have a long game. Super powerful both of them. Accidental equals and evil power couple.

The possibilities are truly endless. It’s great to speculate and indulge in what ifs! You’re very inspiring.

A song that suits both of em is ‘Can’t fight the moonlight’ by LeAnn Rimes.

The lack of cute/sassy assist lines is part of why I wrote Deny Me Not Your Heart. The other part is I see all this hurt/comfort/injury stuff and no one is writing these for Shadowheart SHES THE HEALER GUYS, THINK ABOUT IT.

I think a post-game slow burn is the only solid way for an Ast and SH fic, at least for me. I'm sure you or others are more creative in that regard than me.

You don't want to know how many saves I have stacked up on my PS5 only to do it all over again to my Xbox now lmao.

Bending canon is what makes us fanfiction writers, and never let anyone tell you otherwise. It's an art of balancing canon and the characters to what your vision is. A well done fanfiction is one that is almost indistinguishable from the actual story. That blurs the lines between canon and fan content. I wrote a whole speech that I had to cut to keep this from getting too long but short version, yes it is very fun bending canon!

I heard about the too prideful thing but I believe that was a cut epilogue card so whether it's canon is up for debate. But yes, he is pretty obsessed and I'm here for it.

A story with Tav as a shared ex would be very interesting! That's sort of the concept behind my longfic but instead of falling in love with each other, Ascended and Dark Justiciar end up having a Yandere 1v1 over their ex. But for the sake of discussion, let's say Astarion and Shadowheart end up fake dating to spite Tav but end up falling in love together instead. Sounds like an interesting prompt!

I'm more of a Tav shipper myself, if my content is anything to go by. But I agree, Shadowheart deserves more content!

It's established several times that intelligent as he is, he's not the greatest at planning ahead so him catching feelings for Sharran Shadowheart after manipulating her into a tactical alliance (spongebob fish anchor voice: when will he learn?) rings of...

And after losing Tav, he definitely would be way worse in the possessive department of Shadowheart.

Angry chirping translation: ADORABLE? NO, I AM VENGENCE! I AM DOMINATION INCARNATE! I COMMAND THE NIGHT!

Shadowheart: he is, isn't he? And he's all mine.

So with Shadowheart having access to memory magic, she would need to subdue him, tie him up and laser guide amnesia his ass. You can even manipulate or modify his existing memories, if you go by Shadowheart initially believing the Sharrans saved her from that wolf and didn't abduct her from her loving parents.

I discovered many years ago that if there's a story you want to see, sometimes you have to create it yourself! And if you want it, other people do too! So okay– I suspect, given the rush job of this show, this is technically another model dump of characters they were like 90% sure they'd all use.

So, starting from left to right, we have:

The Douglas', Douglas Douglas, Debbie, and Duncan respectively. Makes sense, they're Dexter's family. As does Cosgrove, who's featured very prominently in the series.

So on the other side we have… Stephanie and Valerie. They were meant to be a 'Betty and Veronica' type parody together before they dropped that to just have Steph as the main love interest. And I'm not too torn up about that, honestly, especially if it became more annoying than funny……… but I also wonder what would have happened if we got Valerie as the main love interest? On one hand– I do like Stephanie's general level headedness, and sometimes smarts (I'm looking at you, fandom– I know she's your average 90s side chick BUT everyone seems to forget when she literally was the only person who fixed that arcade machine thing in an episode– more on that way later), however… Valerie would have also been fun. Someone very sassy and with a mouth who probably wouldn't tolerate Freakazoid's antics as much– albeit, I can see it being hard to write that without it getting… annoying. Especially since there might have been an attitude of 'women, am I right?' about it… which is already kind of in the show as is tbh (as much as I love the writing… This show was also written mainly by a bunch of older guys, so I don't… entirely trust that they'd give a teenage girl that much complexity. Then again, most of the characters are pretty flat, which is fine for a show whose main goal is to be silly and make you laugh)

However, then we have…

These two– and we never actually see them anywhere in the show for the most part– okay, that's a lie, I think they're somewhere in the start of Dance of Doom? Anyway, I suspect this was part model dump, and partially a somewhat thought of being Dexter's friends? And I mean, it makes sense imo– they do look kinda nerdy.

So I guess if you're ever in thought about needing more characters for a fic or reboot or whatever– I've never seen these guys be even touched in the fandom! Even I'm guilty of this, given that I personally wouldn't know how or where to use them in a project with a lot of characters as is. But I do think the character on the right's design is really cool, imo, if anyone ever wants to grab 'um.

Coup De Grace-Samcedes Flashback Christmas 2009

Who:Sam Evans and Mercedes Jones

When: December 2009

Where: Mercedes Jones’ house

Note: Now in high school, Sam resolves to get closer to Mercedes. If he’s being slightly underhanded, well all’s fair in love and war, right?

Sam: He straightened his letterman jacket as he made his way to the front door of the modest looking house in front of him and bit his lip nervously.Courage Sam, he told himself firmly, she was only a girl, not even in his own peer group..but as much as he told himself that, his heart still pounded wildly at the thought of her. Had done really since elementary, but no matter how hard he tried to bridge the gap between them, nothing seemed to work. He was a jock-popular, the quarterback and captain of the football and basketball teams, from a wealthy background and surrounded by kids who came from the same sort of money and she was..Perfect.Pure perfection, in one sassy, hot as hell package. The cheerleaders might mock her for being a nerd but to Sam there was nothing sexier than a girl with both beauty and brains-and Mercedes Jones had both of those things in spades. Standing on the porch, he rang the bell, a slight smile gracing his features. "Hey Mercedes," he greeted her as the door swung open.

Mercedes sang along to the closing notes of Janelle Monae as she folded the last bit of her clothes. Her homework already done so she decided to use this free time to tidy up a bit so the rest of her week would be free in case she wanted to make plans. She placed her newly folded clothes in their proper place and giggled at her reflection in the mirror above her dresser. Her neatly fixed bun from earlier now taking on the role as a messy one probably a result of her dancing as she cleaned yet she kept about her business heading downstairs just as the doorbell rang. She didn’t check to see who was there just opened it and was met with a sheepish smile from Sam Evans. They didn’t exactly roll in the same cliques and although they didn’t openly despise one another it wasn’t all that spectacular either. They had what she liked to call a mutual respect of differences. She being far from the popular jock/cheerio crowd he was an elusive member of. She was smart enough to be considered a nerd but too headstrong to ever let those bullies at school try her. They knew better, so she kinda fit in the middle. However, here he was looking every bit as sexy as ever in her doorway. “Hi,” she greeted the boy in front of her, confusion etched on her face. “ What’s up?”

Sam: He stood for a second, speechless, completely poleaxed by how cute she looked with dark, glossy locks falling out of the bun her hair had been pulled into, before he relaxed into what he hoped was an adequate social smile. "I kinda need a favor Cedes.." the old nickname slipping out as he shifted unconsciously under her stare. "I want to go to medical school so I'm looking at majoring in Biology or Chemistry when I go to college..but with football and basketball and everything..I kinda got a bit behind..Mr Schuester said you tutor and I was wondering whether you have a spot free to tutor me..” He used his go to expression when he wanted something from someone, little boy lost mashed with a pleading look, hoping that she would never find out that in fact, far from needing tutoring, he was acing all his classes.He clenched his fist by his side, sending up a quick prayer to anyone that was listening that she'd help him. This was his shot with her, it was now or never because soon they'd graduate and the opportunity would be lost for good. "So..d'ya think you could help me out?"

Mercedes leaned against the frame of her door arms folded as she waited for the reason of why he was here. Her head tilting up a bit as she head the old nickname he used to call coming out and she was certain it was added for extra bribery. He hadn’t called her that in forever. He wasn’t slick nor cute. “A tutor? That’s why you’re here?” She questioned uncertain if she wanted to even entertain this favor of his. She was really good at all things Science. She knew Sam was smart in his own right and he wouldn’t be as demanding as the other students she tutored yet still she had her reservations. “What’s In it for me?” She asked. “If I do this favor how would you repay me?”

Sam: She was going to turn him down, dammit, he could read it in the cool assessing glance she flicked over his face and he wondered how the hell was he ever going to even get close to her. "Look..I came to you because you're the best..I mean there's always Kitty," he shrugged, knowing the rivalry that existed between the two, one from the popular, cool set and the other from the nerd side of the tracks. Sam didn't actually care for labels- from where he stood people were people and sexy was sexy and Mercedes Jones was the very definition of the word. "But I'd kinda prefer the best.." He frowned, biting his lips as he considered her words. "I..don't know..why don't you tell me what you want? But before you do..even if you don't decide to tutor me, would you like to go out with me some time? We could go to the movies..get pizza..whatever you want to do.." There. It was out, he'd asked her, the fifth time this year so far and he held his breath as he waited for her answer.

Mercedes had half a mind to slam the door shut in his face when he mentioned going to Kitty. He knew she hated that girl. Since elementary the rival between the two was one for the ages. “I am the best, that’s true.” Her hands unfolding as she decided to put him out of his misery and be decent enough to invite him in. “Come inside,” she gestured and stepped aside for him to enter. “Can’t have people seeing you on my porch and all begging as if you were that crazy Sue woman asking for spare change.” She shut the door behind him almost stopping in her tracks when he finished his sentence. Her eyes couldn’t have rolled any further in the back of her head. “Sam, we’ve been over this. Every month you come to me with a date invite and every month I say the same thing. We don’t mesh well. You’re just not my type.” Truthfully speaking Sam could totally be the type of guy she could date. He was smart, funny at moments, very nice looking, and when he wasn’t too busy playing the role of jock number 1 he was absolutely caring. Problem was she didn’t feel like going through the trouble of dealing with the stares of why? The hushed whispers of is he okay or did he lose some bet. Then the biggest factor was Kitty. Hell no was she about to let that stump get the satisfaction of torturing her about her relationship. “If you really need a tutor, I’ll consider it. If and only if you promise me two things. You can’t try to force me to fall for you and two, I want Reggie back.”

Sam: He couldn't help fist pumping the air behind her back as he followed her inside. This was the farthest he'd ever gotten with her, and it might seem like snatching at crumbs, but he was STOKED. He let out a frustrated sigh, as he heard her words, his hand running roughly through his hair. "How do you know we don't mesh well? You haven't even given me a chance!" he asked, beyond exasperated. "I ask you the same question every month like you said..and I know what you're thinking..that it's for some sort of bet like Jesse did to Rachel, but I'm telling you Mercedes if it was for a damn bet, I'd have given up months ago!" He scowled, green eyes clouded with jealousy as he muttered "So who is your type huh? Artie? I know you're friends with him..He's one of my best friends too but HE doesn't judge me because I play sport..You see a jock and a nerd..I see two best friends...So c'mon Cedes..Is it Tinsley? You don't have a problem with him playing sports.." He took a breath and began to relax. Baby steps, Sam..she was agreeing to tutor him and he could work on it from there. At least it meant he'd be closer to her. Wait, what? She wanted Reggie back? The green croc had been with him for years ever since they'd drifted apart. "On the Reggie thing...deal.." he smirked, offering his hand to shake on it, caressing the back of her soft one with his hand. "As for the other.." he leaned closer until his mouth was a hair's breadth away from hers, "I can't promise that..No one can force you to fall in love Mercedes..maybe the one you should be telling that to is..you.." He brushed her lips gently with his for the space of a second before he pulled back and turned to leave.

Mercedes The way he went on in a jealous fit was kinda cute. Sam Evans was trouble. “You aren’t cruel enough to do some joke. It’s not that. How shallow do you think I am? That I judge base off social status? I don’t care. It’s just you’re sorta a friend. One of the decent guys and my dad likes you so that already puts you at a disadvantage.” She shrugged. She bit her lip to hide the pure happiness she felt when he agreed to return Reggie. She missed him. To some it might’ve been a silly little stuff crocodile but she had some great memories with him. “You can try as you like Sam but you know as well as anyone I’m very set in ways.” She lost her train of thought for a second when his lips touched hers. “Um, I’ve got more cleaning to do. I’ll see you tomorrow..” she hiccuped and followed him to the door.

Bully- Peter x Reader

Request: If you can, could you make a Peter Parker x reader imagine where the reader gets bullied a lot and is made fun of for being smart and then Peter asks her out because he genuinely likes her but then she doesn't believe him and says like "You don't have to go through with the dares." Or something? Thank you!! I love your blog!

Warnings: mild cursing, bullying

A/N- I hope this is okay, I took some artistic liberties with it and made the bullying the main point of the fic instead of the main focus being the relationship. Hope you like it!

Midtown School of Science and Technology was just the perfect school, right? Wrong. Everyone thought that the people that went there were just perfect specimens. Everyone’s great little think-tanks. Well you know what happens when you put a bunch of ‘perfect specimens’ together in a high school setting? Spoiler alert: The same thing that happens in a normal high school.

There were still cliques and cool kids. There were still bad teachers and terrible lunch food. There were still drug dealers and bullies. And no one was safe from the bullies. You would think that if you were being made fun of for one thing, the person who was the exact opposite of you would be safe, but no. If you were dumb, you were bullied. If you were smart, you were bullied. Below what they considered ‘average weight,’ you were bullied. Above what they considered ‘average weight,’ you were bullied. These people are vicious.

“Hey, Y/L/N,” you sighed and closed your locker door. The lead jackasses of the school approached you. The main one, Weston, is the one that spoke to you. “Why are you carrying all those books?”

As much as they intimidated you sometimes, you were still sassy back. “Maybe it has something to do with the fact I’m about to go to class? You should try it sometime.”

Weston’s face fell for a second before he grimaced. “You don’t need all those books; you’re smart enough without them. Give somebody else a chance to answer some questions, would you?”

That’s what confused you. You never talk in class so why does he think that you just answer questions constantly. Literally you only ever raise your hand when nobody else does and the teacher’s getting angry because no one knows the answer. You were the last resort answer machine. “See your tone says that you meant that to be offensive but all you did was tell me how smart I am. So I’m just going to say,” you put your hand on your heart and made your voice higher to be clear you were mocking him, “Oh my goodness! Thank you, Weston! I know you’re like my number one fan. Gotta go, see ya later, sweetie!”

Like that, you walked off to class leaving a stunned and angry group of bullies and a very impressed Peter Parker. Peter hated that they bullied you and he always wants to go up and help you, but you never need help. You are such a badass that he just stops to watch you hand it to him. Basically everyone within hearing distance shuts up to hear you tell him off. It’s so satisfying to watch the guy that makes everyone else’s life hell, get mocked for a bit. Peter doesn’t think you know how much the rest of the school admires you for that.

Class went fine as far as classes go. Once again you didn’t say a word except for ‘bless you’ when someone sneezed. Really you just wanted to go home because you knew that on the days that Weston messed with you, he wouldn’t stop. He would always take a class or two to think of more ways to mess with you.

His next place of attack was the lunchroom. That was a big mistake. For him.

As you walked into the lunchroom, Weston’s table immediately saw you and started scrambling for something. You rolled your eyes and began to walk to your usual table. Unfortunately, that meant you had to walk past his table. When you were a few steps from his table, one of Weston’s goons shouted to the entire room.

“Attention! Attention! Thank you all for coming to this performance. Weston take it away.”

Suddenly Weston’s head popped out from under the table and he was wearing a wig matching your hair color. You have no idea where he would have gotten it on such short notice so you figured he had planned this before.

“Look at me, I’m Y/N!” he mocked your voice. “I’m just so smart and such a nerd. Quick, ask me anything!”

He turned to one of his friends who quickly asked him to explain wormholes.

“Oh, please. I don’t have time for such juvenile questions. I have to go contemplate life’s bigger questions with more qualified individuals who are actually worth my time, peasants.” Weston got up to bow as his entire table howled with laughter and clapped. The rest of the lunch room was quiet waiting to see what you would do.

You looked around the room. No teachers, typical. You started clapping. “Woooh! Let’s give it up for Weston everybody!” Everyone started clapping slightly but looked around more confused. However, the people who looked most confused were Weston and his group. “I didn’t know I was going to get first row seats to a Broadway show today.” There were a few chuckles throughout the cafeteria. “I have to say, the first act was a little…” you waved your hand in a ‘so- so’ motion, “but you guys really pulled through with the Second Act and you finished strong.”

Now the cafeteria was really smiling and laughing. And it was in your favor! You continued talking, “Now you have some characterization issues with your main character. I don’t think you really know who they are. Maybe you should take some time to get to know people before making everyone out to be the bad guy. But of course this is just a game for you.”

A chorus of “oooh’s” echoes around the room. Weston gets immediately angry. “You’re just a bitch!”

“Do I get bonus points if I act like I care?” That made the cafeteria go wild. You smugly walked off right after telling him “Better luck next time.”

Peter, along with the rest of room, was amazed. He decided right then and there that he had to get to know you better. He had known of you for a long time. He had always admired your intelligence which is why it confused him that you were made fun of for it. So Peter picked up his tray and went to sit across from you at your table.

As soon as Peter sat down, your eyes shot up towards him. He let out a meek “Hi.”

You cautiously said “Hello…” He didn’t say anything after you greeted him so you kept talking. “I don’t mean to sound rude to you, but is there a reason you’re sitting here?”

“Oh- well, uh. I just wanted to…” You looked at him expectantly. “I’m going to be honest. I came over here on a whim before I had made a plan of action in my head and now I just look like an idiot.”

You chuckled. “You don’t look like an idiot.” You reassured him. “No matter what Weston says. Anyway, was there something you wanted to ask me or talk to me about?”

“Yeah, um. I was wondering if you, uh, maybe might want to sometime hang out with me?”

You looked toward Weston’s table. This had to be a sick joke. “Look, you don’t have to go through with the dares.”

“Wait, what?” Peter looked genuinely confused.

“Weston put you up to this, right? Gets my crush to ask me out on a date so I say yes and then you stand me up, they drive by and make fun of me and then you’re cool by association. Am I right?” You sighed and didn’t meet his eyes.

“Oh! No, no no no no. That’s not what this is. I just genuinely want to hang out with you. And did you say you had a crush on me?” Your cheeks grew red and you crossed your arms. “It’s okay, I won’t make you say it again. But anyway, I actually really like you. I think you’re so smart and funny and quick-witted. You do realize the whole school looks up to you, right?”

That only made you blush more. “The whole school looks up to me?”

“Of course! Anytime Weston says anything to you everyone shuts up so they can hear you knock him down a peg.” Peter looked into your eyes and smiled at you.

“And you said you liked me?” you smirked.

Peter blushed and broke eye contact for a quick second. “Yeah, I kinda did say that. It’s true, I do like you.”

You smiled at Peter. About five tables away from you Weston had knocked someone’s lunch tray out of their hands and was laughing about it. You looked at the poor kid who was being bullied.

“I have an idea.” You said and Peter raised his eyebrows. You smirked, “Are you free for a special kind of date tonight?”

*Later that night*

“I can’t believe we’re breaking in to the school.” Peter said from behind you as you jimmied the lock.

“It’s fine. Honestly, for this school being full of science and technology nerds you’d think they’d have some sort of high tech security system. But nope, just a lock.” You opened the door and walked through with Peter following you.

“This is really thrilling!” Peter was having an adrenaline rush.

You stopped at a locker, “Okay, this is his locker. You got the bag?” Peter nodded and handed over the book bag. You and Peter started setting up the prank and joking with each other. Suddenly you got a serious tone. “Peter?” You sat back on the floor.

Peter stopped what he was doing and looked at you. “Yeah?”

“Is this wrong? Like… Does this make us just as bad as him?”

Peter sat down next to you. “That certainly is the bigger question here. But if I’m being honest, I don’t think it does. Weston harasses people every day. He verbally, and sometimes physically abuses people. He makes people cry and hate themselves and hate coming to school. I don’t think us pulling this silly little prank on a bully makes us just as bad as him. He obviously has some problems that he needs to work through and he should really talk to a counselor about that, but that doesn’t give him a right to bully people.”

You nodded. “You’re right. Hopefully after we do this, he’ll see how it feels to have everyone laugh at him and he’ll stop bullying people. Then we can maybe try to be civil and talk to him about seeing someone for his issues.”

Peter smiled at you. “See? We’re good people. There’s nothing wrong with a harmless prank. Now let’s finish this up.” He gave you a hand and pulled you up.

*The Next Day*

You and Peter met up in the morning and hung out in the vicinity of Weston’s locker. His locker was central in the area where a lot of people like to hang out so there were many people around. You and Peter spread word to a couple of people that were a little close to the locker that they might want to back up whenever Weston shows up. And as soon as Weston walked through the doors, they did.

He walked over to his locker and multiple people were looking at him in anticipation. He put in his locker combination and you grabbed Peter’s hand. Not that he minded. Weston went to open his locker and there was a high pitched noise. Him and his friends gathered closer to see what was making the noise when it happened. A pink explosion went all over him and his goons. You thanked whatever Gods there were that he had decided to wear white pants today.

The whole hallway erupted into laughter. “Who did this?”

You decided to speak up. “Hmmm? Who could be capable of doing this? Surely they’d have to be really smart. Right, Weston? Can you think of someone that you bully all the time that would be capable of doing this?”

You could tell he was furious, but also embarrassed. “Oh, wait! That’s just about the whole school. You have to be really smart to get in here, Weston. Yet you make fun of people every day. You give everyone shit and they don’t deserve it. You’re just a bully. You looked up at him through your eyelashes, “So you don’t think I’m a bad person?”

Peter shook his head. “No, not at all. I heard what you said to him after. I can tell you really do want him to get better. You could never be a bad person. And that’s why I like you.” You smiled up at him. “Now what do you say I take you on a more conventional date tonight?”

“I’d love that.” You placed a quick kiss on his cheek and both of you blushed as you walked back into school to go to class.

buuuut here is why, I have l o v e d different groups at different times, I have watched a lot of MVs, seen a lot of choreography I have seen so many concepts. I can remember when I first stumbled on Astro I was watching a lyric video and Again ‘should have held onto you’ was suggested to me on the side bar on YouTube, and I was all for giving new music ago. I licked on it and remember being hooked to the intro right off the bat, so you could say Moonbin started it, but I will cut to the chase, I like music that resonates in my heart and emotions Astro did that right off the bat, even though i wasn’t fully reading the lyrics I still felt the emotion behind the song,the first music video I saw was Hide & Seek and never has watching a MV made me smile to the point where my cheeks hurt, and I continue to smile after all day. And I know this is a super duper simple reason to why I love them but Astro makes me happy, they make me so happy. And I love how close you can see they are, how hard they work, and how they all truly have beautiful hearts, and again I know it is such a simple maybe silly reason but because they make me happy and because they make me smile, and that is something we often forget to do. So I hope we can keep smiling with our boys for a very long time

4) Ult Bias and why you love them?

Let’s set Eunwoo’s looks aside entirely here, yes he is good-looking, you have to have never seen Eunwoo if you do not think he is attractive and an actual fairytale prince on this earth, but the fact he is greater than his looks and how he truly is, that is what makes him a prince. I fell for his voice the second I heard it because I basically binged Astro songs and just waited for his part, and i am so proud of how much stronger he has gotten vocally. I adore how hard working and smart he is, and despite being just such a high caliber human being already, he is still humble and wants to improve himself, he recognizes his flaws and wants to be better. And speaking of which, he always pushing and going do all of his personal actives but still keeping Astro, what can he do to help Astro, and how can he be his best for Astro and Aroha on his mind. He cares about Astro so much he cried because he was worried about holding them back, which is far from the case. I love how he got nervous and to try to help calm down, he did research on all the hosts on Hello Counselor (him on Hello Counselor was honestly so cute) and how preparing things like that eases his mind. And I could go on about his Singing, his acting, his dancing (I am so proud of him he is always getting better and better), him being multilingual, knowing how to play the piano, or how his eyes light up before he smiles and you just feel the joy from him, his laugh oh my goodness. Or how he maybe quiet at times but you can see the gears turning in his head behind his eyes as he analyzes a situation with a smile on his face. But to tie this up I really think I love him as much as I do because I see small fragments of myself reflected in his personality and in the way he thinks, and I also cannot help but look up to him (not just because I am short either) and want to be better and aspire to have the sense of maturity that he has about so many things. I want to put my heart into things like he does, and at the end of the day I am so glad that the universe has put me into the same timeline as him, so I can watch him grow and shine. And I also hope we all can aspire to be a little more like Eunwoo at the end of the day

Suits: Right-Hand Man (8x01)

I miss Mike so much. This is gonna be rough, guys. I'm going to be honest, here - Mike and Harvey's relationship was about 90% of why I watched this show. And if I'm being even more honest, Gina Torres was most of the other 10%. Now that I've lost that, I'm not sure what's left. But I'm not a quitter - I'll commit myself to Season Eight of Suits, at the very least. If this show gets renewed again, I might be hanging up my hat at the end of Season Eight. But my heart is open to the possibilities. Let's talk about this.

Cons:

Katherine Heigl. It's a little hard for me to evaluate her without taking into account everything I know about her as a person. The rumors are rampant - she's a diva. And this character? Well, thus far Samantha Wheeler seems... fine? Kind of generic? She's a bad-ass woman that doesn't take shit from anyone and is loyal to Robert Zane. I think about the other women in this show, though, and I just don't know what she adds. We had Rachel, who was this kind, gentle, compassionate person who didn't fall in to the cliches of the "professional" woman who has to be cold to get to the top. You have Katrina, who wants to be that cold professional woman, but has a problem with her confidence. You have Donna, the sassy assistant-turned-COO character. What is Samantha going to be? I'm not saying I dislike her, but I certainly wasn't grabbed by her in week one. She seemed pretty unoriginal to me.

I know this show is ridiculously unrealistic all of the time when it comes to how a law firm would actually operate, and usually I'd be fine with that. But it's driving me crazy that everyone is throwing around the promise of name partner as an incentive. There's no way this firm survives so many name changes in the past few years. Let things settle down with Zane Specter Litt for like a SECOND before you start talking about Alex and Samantha getting tossed up on the wall. It's just silly, and it feels like an increasingly contrived way to get the drama going.

Oh, also - did I mention that I miss Mike? A lot? Like, a lot, a lot? I seriously don't know how I'm going to get through this season. It'll be too sad if they don't drop hints that Mike and Harvey are still in touch. Just an occasional one-sided phone conversation would be cool with me. Just... something. PLEASE.

Pros:

Okay. So in order to keep going with this show, sans the epic bromance, I'm going to have to let go of some old grudges against Louis Litt, and accept him into my heart. They did a pretty good job of showing his growth last season, and even if I still get twitchy when I think about him hurting Mike, I'm choosing to forgive and forget. Truth is, the stuff with Louis and Katrina in this episode was by far the most interesting thing going on here. Katrina deciding which associates to fire, Louis getting pissed when Brian gets thrown into the mix, Donna stepping in to help smooth things over... it was all golden.

See, one thing that happens sometimes with Donna is that she steps in to espouse her "wisdom," and it feels pointless, like she's just saying what everybody already knows, but in a sassy, witty way. This time, when she stepped in and explained Brian's value to the firm, she really taught Katrina something, and helped smooth the tension between Katrina and Louis. It was a shining moment for her in this season premiere. I like the fact that Donna acknowledges her role as a "supporting player," and says how important that can be. It was a good way to frame this conversation.

Katrina is one of those surprise characters - I certainly didn't think much of her when she first showed up on the scene years ago, but now I really like her. She's funny and she really gets Louis in a way maybe nobody else does. Harvey had something special with Mike (*sob*), and Louis gets to have that special partner-associate bond with Katrina. I think that's something he really needs, and I'm glad he gets to have it. Also, their comic relief is just too good. Katrina telling Louis that she cares for him deeply in a completely asexual way, and Louis' response that he cares for Katrina and sees her as neither man nor woman? That's freakin' hilarious. Those two are so weird, and I'm all for it.

While the jury is still out on Samantha, I am excited to see Alex get some more screen-time. I don't have a problem with him as a character, but thus far he hasn't really clicked in for me as someone particularly interesting. He feels a little generic. But I like the camaraderie between him and Harvey, and I like the way that he and Louis seem to have reached a peaceful relationship at last. I think he could be a really interesting piece of the puzzle, so I'm excited to see how that works. I've got to say, for all that this show lost three of its original cast members last season (including Jessica), the show doesn't feel empty. They did a smart thing elevating existing players like Alex, Katrina, and Robert to the front lines, so that only Samantha comes in as a completely fresh face.

There is something else I'm kind of excited about for this season, and that's the Robert and Harvey relationship. I've got to say, for all his bluster, Robert Zane is an incredibly understanding and patient guy. Dude has been through some shit over the years because of Harvey Specter, Mike Ross, and frankly the whole gang over at their firm. I think it only makes sense for him to be managing partner, and I'm glad that Harvey saw it that way too, with a little assistance from Donna. I can't wait to see these two butt heads, but keep it professional all at the same time.

Lastly, let me do a legacy "Mike and Harvey" corner... I always used to save the two of them for last in my reviews because they're my favorite part. We did get a little bit of content about them, as Donna shows Robert a picture that Rachel left of the newlyweds for Robert to decorate his new office. We also have Donna asking Harvey if maybe he's being a little touchy because he's reacting to Mike leaving. This is one of those "no duh" moments that Donna sometimes has, but I appreciated the fact that Harvey didn't brush her off or get defensive. He's not interested in lying about the fact that he's going to miss Mike. That's a given.

And I'm going to miss him toooo! So much! Literally I wish this show had just ended. But that doesn't mean there's nothing to enjoy... I guess. I'll keep plugging away, and I'll have my eagle eyes out for any little tidbits of Mike Ross that they choose to give us.
