Easy Mini Orchard Trees

No Maintenance Orchard Trees

All three orchard trees miniaturised and made buyable from Build Mode/Garden Centre/Gardening. Trees do not need tending in any way. They can only be placed directly on the ground, either outside or in a greenhouse, and cost $750 each.

Their life-stage, quality and type are set from menu options. There is a $50 cost for making them harvestable, after which a Sim can be directed to pick or sell the produce.

If used with my Vegetable Plant Pots mod, an additional menu option will appear to add a fruit tree to the pot.

Hey, how are you? You play with 2 days = 1 year, right? Do you use mods to slow down skilling and stuff like that? I'm considering this lifespan as well, but sometimes even with 1 day = 1 year I feel like skilling goes too fast

Thank you for the question.

I use lientebollemeis mod - New skillspan: 28 hours instead of 1 hour It has 3 different options. I use the 2x option (6x and 28x are the other two), which so far is working better with my 2 days = 1 year timeline.

I also have @earlypleasantview 's Skill Gain Speed modifier which I am told will work with the new skill spans. I keep meaning to use it to make some of my sims geniuses and some much slower.

Additionally, I use a lot of autonomy mods for skilling objects, and while Huntsville isn't strictly wants-based play, I do pay attention to wants, especially while my sims are at university (which I also do in 8 days/4 semesters, and that also helps keep them from having half their skills before they are adults).

I use Gummilutt's Scholarships require 5 points which allows my teens to still qualify for scholarships without, again, maxing out their skills before they are adults.

Definitely all of this combined has led to my sims gaining skills a lot more slowly than they did before.

Every time i purchase a moderately expensive item the Karl Marx on my shoulder is like "For shame... you purchase yet another pair of jeans when you have 5 already at home, you despicable commodity fetishist? Plus, by purchasing a slightly more expensive pair of jeans from an independent brand, seeking quality over 'brand recognition', they are deliberately trying to avoid engaging in conspicuous consumption!" to which the third Karl Marx clinging to my back like that beetle from Doctor Who says "Remember, my friend; the less you eat, drink, buy books, go to the theatre or to balls, or to the pub, and the less you think, love, theorize, sing, paint, fence, etc., the more you will be able to save and the greater will become your treasure which neither moth nor rust will corrupt — your capital. Buy the jeans," to which I say "I don't know if any of you have actually read Karl Marx"

You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).

Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.

i used to be so good at writing strong, thoroughly-researched, thoroughly-edited essays.

as a kid in hs, my teacher literally came up to me, holding my 40 page essay on the intersection of the European witch hunts and capitalism/exploitation/gender roles (it was supposed to be 7 pages...whoops) and went like "this is literally a master's-degree level thesis. what are you doing?? you could literally use this as your final dissertation in a master's program, what the fuck."

Hi there! *Nervous laugh* 😅 ❤️ Can you believe my last post was back in February of 2019? Because I cannot. So much has changed since then, I got divorced, I fell in love with my old Runescape boyfriend from like 2009. And now I'm back to playing Runescape Ironwoman mode. I've had this account for a couple years now but have taken many breaks from Runescape, so it's not the best but I like the early to mid game grind. Lately, I have just been working on getting stats for Prifddinas and 75+ stats in general. I do hope to one day have Master Quest Cape though! That has been my long-term goal for so many years.
