Story:

He didn’t know that Cardinalsong was having an affair.

To be honest, he wouldn’t have cared if she’d told him. He just cared about setting a good example, of being a father his kits could be proud of.

But when Shrikepaw showed him the bodies…

He snapped. He cried for the first time since he was a tiny kit, wailing and sobbing as Shrikepaw watched, shocked.

“She didn’t love you! Why are you crying?”

Frustrated, his son, his baby, repeated those words until Snowfoot could stand to hear them no longer.

He lashed out, hitting anything, trying to get the noise, the corpses, the scent of rot and death away from him.

He was still crying when the dam upstream broke, still crying when the water slammed him off of his paws and dashed him against the rocks

one thing i actually really like about star stable (and wanna embrace more in my own lore building stuff in my brain) is that it doesn't actually matter at all where your character came from, just that they're on jorvik now

#and it's exemplified in other characters too #and like with nova specifically #she left for a number of years #and essentially broke contact with all of her connections on jorvik #even her horses #but for the most part they welcomed her back as if she had never left #i think it's something that can be heartwarming on the surface and also a little bit sinister? #and surreal #it adds to the isolated and bizarre atmosphere on jorvik #where on the surface everything is quite warm and pleasant #but a lot of the juicy stuff in star stable for me comes from exploring like #what it means to not fit into the culture on jorvik #or what happens when someone embraces the isolation that the culture exemplifies with its unique equestrian relationships #like the hermit #or the vala #idk #these r just my thots #star stable online #nova snowfoot #ssoblr

Just a quick sketch of Bluefur following Tiny to help him

I have this small au where Bluefur would take in Tiny so he can be healed from the injuries caused by Tigerpaw, and people seemed to like it a lot ! :)

I would like to thank elkpoint for suggesting Tiny's warrior name, Snowfoot, as a reference to Snowfur ! I think it would be a very sweet name and it would be really in-character for Bluefur to name her almost adopted son like that !

I would also like to thanks boogurl405 for their really cool idea of Thistleclaw missing the opportunity of becoming next deputy because it would be apparent that he told his apprentice to attack a kit (and Tigerpaw did it without a second thought) !

I am really happy people enjoy my small aus and get ideas on it, thank you so much for your support ! :)

My new favorite thing is to make Tiny extremely small and very round like a teeny tiny blackhole with eyes

She listened. Told him that his true parentage changed nothing.

He showed her that she couldn’t breathe underwater.

Next he went to Sleettooth.

Then to his sweet baby sister.

When the three were dead, he went to his father.

Showed him what he’d done.

Snowfoot was horrified, and soon, Shrikepaw went the way of his family.
