WE ARE ALWAYS IN THE VOID STATE
post inspired by @soquimic
Hello guys and welcome to another void state post! Did you know that we are always in the void, we are just now aware of it? Yes that’s right, and you can be aware of it every time you sleep!
Remember those times when we would wake up, and not remember what dream we had, and all we think about is a black space? That was the void state, we just weren’t aware! Waking up in the void state is like breathing! It’s simple and easy.
So how can you be aware of the void state? Just use awareness affirmations as you fall asleep! Here are some:
“I am aware of the void state”
“I will be aware of the void when I sleep”
“I am always aware whenever I am in the void state”
“I am aware of void”
…Or you could make up your own!
This post is short and sweet because the void state is as simple as this, let me know if you have questions! Goodbye! And happy manifesting!

Omg, your response was so amazing and helpful 😭❤ Thank you for taking the time to really get into all that. 💞 It also seems to have kinda sparked a conversation arround it, which is awesome! 😁
And ohhhhh ya, the religious trauma and gilt are real 😳🙄
You mentioned you have more to say if we want to hear it? I, for one, would LOVE to hear anything else you have to say on the topic! ❤
-🫖
Hi hi hi 🫖 anon!!
{Let’s Talk Religious Guilt and Trauma}
I am so glad that my response—Let’s Talk Healthy Solo Sex— was helpful and informative for you!! Of course!!! I want to give every ask and every anon the time and respect that they deserve ♥️♥️ And yes, I love that it sparked more of a conversation!! I’m so proud of you for reaching out and starting these discussions, anon!!! 🥰
I most definitely have more to say on the topic. For one, you can check out Let’s Talk Penetrative Sex and Let’s Talk Trauma in Relationships, which both stemmed from our conversation! And then there’s this response, fyi it will be another longer one 😊
*sigh* Yes, religious guilt and trauma are most definitely real. And those of experiences and feelings are so valid. Trauma of any kind is no joke. If you have any religious trauma or trauma of any other kind, I highly recommend that you seek a professional’s help.
So… What is Religious Trauma and Guilt?
A general definition for Religious Trauma is… “Religious trauma can happen when an individual’s religious experience has been damaging, abusive, degrading, stressful, or traumatic. When a religious experience is traumatic, it can damage your emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health”. Check out Cohesive Therapy NYC’s article on Religious Trauma for more detailed information! For an article that goes more into Religious Guilt, check out Considering Counseling’s article on Religious Trauma and Guilt…! ♥️
Religious trauma and guilt are especially tricky beasts… Many twisted religious teachings and persuasion is very cult like. (That’s not to say that all are, there are definitely less twisted, healthier religions and practices) But the ones that are rotten and manipulative, they dig deep into your core beliefs, especially if you’re a child, and they replace your identity with the identity of the religion/church/cult.
Tumblr media
So, how do you deal with religious trauma and guilt?
Firstly, as I said above, seek professional help (I recommend an EMDR specialist for trauma—EMDR is a type of therapy that works to restructure traumatic memories in your brain)
On your own accord, Processing, Accepting, and then Healing is the overall goal. Talking it out and processing your experience and feelings with a trusted person can be helpful for some. I find that talking to someone who has also had religious trauma or guilt to be even more helpful, because of how they can relate. Sometimes journaling/writing about it can be another helpful tool. The key is to find some way to express those emotions, to get them out of you.
Tumblr media
Personally, my own story is that I have both religious trauma and guilt, but I definitely struggle more with my religious trauma. I was raised in a Catholic school and an Interfaith-Christian household. We moved around a lot, and so I went to many Christian churches like Non-Denominational, Baptist, Presbyterian, Catholic, and Southern Christian/Baptist. After the Catholic primary school, I moved to a Christian Charter school for six years. At that age, all my activities were based around my church and religious school; safe to say, religion was a very big part of my childhood. When Covid hit, I had had enough and I used the social distancing and the lockdown as a way to disconnect from the church. I effectively stopped going to church in 2020. I then took that time to explore my religious trauma and guilt, and this was where my healing journey began.
Everyone’s journey is different, and everyone’s journey is valid. ♥️
I began my work with my CBT therapist (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy— most therapy is CBT or Freudian). I found that most of my religious guilt was tied to my sexuality, and that I really struggled with being gay and being religious. So I explored that. I talked about it with lots of people, including my therapist, trusted family members, and other trusted religious people. I found that finding others who struggled with sexuality and religion was extremely helpful, it made me feel validated and not alone in the struggle. Today, I am way further along with my religious guilt than I was 3 years ago, but I definitely still have more to process, accept, and heal from.
Next there was my religious trauma. For this, I started with my CBT therapy as well. It was helpful, but after 3 years, I have run into a wall… It depends on the intensity of your trauma, because “little t” trauma is more easily resolved through CBT, whereas “capital T” trauma requires the neural network in your brain. My trauma is more “capital T”, and so I found that CBT therapy only helped me so much. This is why I recommend EMDR therapy for trauma. EMDR therapy targets restricting your neural network, working out the traumatic memories.
Tumblr media
Everyone’s experience is different, so what worked for me and what didn’t work might be different for you, and that’s okay. This is only my experience. But I hope that it was a little helpful, and that you at least feel less alone in your feelings. Because they are so valid. ♥️♥️
So yea, those are my key points for religious trauma and guilt…! Hope this was somewhat relatable, helpful, and informative 🥰 Don’t hesitate to reach out and chat with me, ask or dm! Hope you have a lovely day/night!! 💞💞

DO NOT PLAY CHANGED GOOD LORD ABOVE
good Christ, I just learned about this. Apparently Colin from the game Changed is a minor when he was put in cryostasis, so his MIND AND BODY are still that of a minor. The reason this is important is because Changed is a game heavily featuring the Transformation fetish, where Colin is put in suggestive poses and even MOUNTED. This is clearly pedophilia, and must be dealt with IMMEDIATELY. Please, do not give your money to the developer DragonSnow, and please spread the message.

To my American friends, I beg you: do not light any fireworks! Tell your friends and family: the fires in Canada and extreme fire risks don't stop at the border. The risks are extreme in Canada, you can be sure they're extreme in the US too.
Don't take a risk, don't take a chance, don't let acres and acres of forests burn just because you want to see fireworks.

It’s…… I don’t have words about this-
Why,
Why is it violence to end an atrocity? Why is it violent to speak for peace? Why is it violent to end this genocide?
WHY?!
ATP it should be crystal clear that Palestine (Sudan, Congo, and much more countries) is trying to be free from this oppression. Trying to atp survive as more and more are DYING! This shouldn’t be a “oh who’s right” or “oh well to be devil’s advocate”
NO!
This. Is. Genocide we are talking about- WHY ARE WE TRYING TO DOWNPLAY OR SILENCE THAT??! Why?! I’m sick and I am tired of these businesses siding with the oppressor and aren’t seeing the glaring issue (or I’m realizing they don’t give a damn). I’m tired of the fact USA is siding with them to the point of denying for the ceasefire the SECOND TIME MIND YOU!! So again we here the grey area? There isn’t. This is a genocide plain and simple.
More people need to start talking about this. More people need to boycott. More people just need to do whatever they can to help Palestine (and Sudan and Congo). Donate, calling rep, anything. This can’t go on as 2024 rolls the corner. They need our help. And we need to help them.
If I sound angry in this post, I’m not sorry. This is upsetting and you should find this upsetting too.
From the river to the sea Palestine will be free

Please, if you can, take a moment to read and share this because I feel like I'm screaming underwater.
NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) stigma is rampant right now, and seems to be getting progressively worse. Everyone is using it as a buzzword in the worst ways possible, spreading misinformation and hatred against a real disorder.
I could go on a long time about how this happened, why it's factually incorrect (and what the disorder actually IS), why it's harmful, and the changes I'd like to see. But to keep this concise, I'll simply link to a few posts under the cut for further reading.
The point of this post is a plea. Please help stop the spread of stigma. Even in mental health communities, even around others with personality disorders, in neurodivergent "safe" spaces, other communities I thought people would be supportive in (e.g. trans support groups, progressive spaces in general), it keeps coming up. So I'm willing to bet that a lot of people on this site need to see this.
Because it's so hard to exist in this world.
My disorder already makes me feel as if I'm worthless and unlovable, like there's something inherently wrong and damaged about me. And it's so much harder to fight that and heal when my daily life consists of:
Laughing and spending time with my friends, doing my utmost best to connect and stay present and focused on them, trying to let my guards down and be real and believe I'm lovable- when suddenly they throw out the word "narcissist" to describe horrible people or someone they hate, or the conversation turns to how evil "people with narcissistic personality disorder" are. (Seriously, you don't know which of your friends might have NPD and feels like shit when you say those things & now knows that you'd hate them if you knew.)
Trying to look up "mental health positivity for people with npd", "mental health positivity cluster bs", only to find a) none of that, and b) more of the same old vile shit that makes me feel terrible about myself.
Having a hard time (which is constant at this point) and trying to look up resources for myself, only to again, find the same stigma. And no resources.
Not having any clue how to help myself, because even the mental health field is spitting so much vitriol at people with DISORDERS (who they're supposed to be helping!) that there's no solid research or therapy programs for people like me.
Losing close friends when they find out, despite us having had a good relationship before, and them KNOWING me and knowing that I'm not like the trending image of pwNPD. Because now they only see me through the lens of stigma and misinformation.
Hearing the same stigma come up literally wherever I go. Clubs. Meetings. Any online space. At the bus stop. At the mall. At a restaurant. At work. Buzzword of the year that everyone loooves loudly throwing around with their friends or over the phone. Feels awesome for me, makes my day so much better/s
I could go on for a long time, but I'm scared no one will read/rb this if it gets too much longer.
So please. Stop using the word "narcissist" as a synonym for "abusive".
Stop bringing up people you hate who you believe to have NPD because of a stigmatizing article full of misinformation whenever someone with actual NPD opens their mouth. (Imagine if people did that with any other disorder! "Hey, I'm autistic." "Oh... my old roommate screamed at me whenever I made noise around him, and didn't understand my needs, which seems like sensory overload and difficulty with social cues. He was definitely autistic. But as long as you're self-aware and always restraining your innate desire to be an abusive asshole, you're okay I guess, maybe." ...See how offensive and ignorant that is?)
Stop preventing healthcare for people with a disorder just because it's trendy to use us as a scapegoat.
If you got this far, thank you for reading, and please share this if you can. Further reading is under the cut.
NPD Criteria, re-written by someone who actually has NPD
Stigma in the DSM
Common perception of the DSM criteria vs how someone may actually experience them (Keep in mind that this is the way I personally experience these symptoms, and that presentation can vary a lot between individuals)
"Idk, the stigma is right though, because I've known a lot of people with NPD who are jerks, so I'm going to continue to support the blockage of treatment for this condition."
(All of these were written by me, because I didn't want to link to other folks' posts without permission, but if you want to add your own links in reblogs or replies please feel free <3)
#actuallynpd#signal boost#actuallyautistic#mental health awareness#narcissistic personality disorder#people also need to realize that mental health professionals aren't immune from bias#(it really shouldn't come as a shock that the mental health field has a longstanding pattern of misunderstanding and mistreating ppl who ar#mentally ill or otherwise ND)#the first therapist i brought up NPD to like. literally pulled out the DSM bc she could barely remember the criteria. then said that there'#no way I have it because I have low self-esteem lmaoooooo#anyway throwback to being at work and chatting with a co-worker. and the conversation turning to mental health. and him saying that#he tries to stay informed and be aware and supportive of mental health conditions & that he doesn't want to be ignorant or spread harmful#misinformation. and then i mentioned that i do a lot of research into mental health stuff and i listed a bunch of things. which included#several personality disorders. one of which was NPD.#and after listening to my whole ass list he zeroed in on the NPD and immediately started talking about how narcissists are abusive and#he knew someone who had NPD and how the person who had it had an addiction and died from the addiction in a horrible way and he#was glad he did#fun times#or when i decided to be vulnerable and talk abt my self-criticism/self-hatred bc i knew my friends also struggled w that and i wanted to#support them by sharing my own coping methods. and they both(separately!) started picking and prodding at my npd through the lens of stigma#bc i'd recently opened up to them abt having it. they recognized self-hatred as a symptom and still jumped on me for it. despite me#trying to share hurt vulnerable parts of myself to help them and connect with them.#again..... fun times

Hey. Hey you.
I know it's hard to speak up about Palestine.
You may be scared, afraid to get backlash.
You may be a minor and have parents that are overprotective of you or worse, are neutral about the whole thing or is supportive of one side.
But you don't need to speak up about Palestine on your own post. You can always reblog a post with the click of a button. Reblog posts just like this one.
I know it's hard to do much and I know you're sometimes feeling like you aren't doing enough. But you can take it with little steps at a time.
Don't stop talking about Palestine. Your voices need to be heard.

IT GETS WORSE.
(Trigger Warning: Pedophilia.)
So, you might have heard of this indie game called “OMORI.” It’s got a few plot holes here and there, but it’s got some lovable characters.
(Oh, and spoilers for the game ahead.)
Anyways, the protagonist, SUNNY, is a minor. Pretty chill. One of the other main characters, HERO (Actual canonical name is HENRY.), is a young adult and is going to college to learn to be a doctor. Now, before I say ANYTHING ELSE: THESE TWO ARE NOT TOGETHER IN THE GAME. DON’T GO AFTER OMOCAT.
However, the real problem is not found in the game, but in its fandom - Specifically, it’s art fandom, with a person on Tumblr, named @mozzaremi. On the surface, their art is great! I was actually a big fan for a while. Until they made NSFW art of SUNNY AND HERO. And before you ask, yes, it’s of them doing it, with Sunny still being a minor. If you still don’t believe me… Well, I don’t think I can link the re-upload, but you can probably find it. They received no repercussions, and, to my knowledge, never publicly apologized.
So, in summary, @mozzaremi drew CP. Which is obviously not good. Yet, again, to my knowledge, they never apologized for their actions. If I’m wrong about ANY of this, please, pretty please, nicely correct me. I don’t want someone innocent to get flack. And don’t harass! Just unfollow and perhaps post why. Also, if you could spread the message, I would be ever so grateful.
AND ONCE AGAIN - IF THIS IS WRONG, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP. I WILL TAKE DOWN THE POST IMMEDIATELY.
Hope you have a good day, cool people.

While I was transferring over files to my new PC earlier this year, I found a word document I don't remember writing, talking about my feelings as an asexual person being ace in the current day
This is something Ive worked on for so long I don't even know if it's good anymore, but please take it regardless 🖤🩶🤍💜
(this is a repost because the flow was off and I figured out what the issue was, so this is the new and improved version. I can eat my cake in peace)
