Hc's for Jim and Blinky's father/son relationship

at First Blinky found human habits Super Weird a lot of the things that for example he didn't understand human Slang and Language is one of the reasons Why when he didn't understand the term babysitter and thought that you need to Sit on babies.

Besides the obvious answer of Jlaire, because they're my OTP, it's definitely Jim and Blinky's relationship and the father/son dynamic they've got going. I love how they started as somewhat exasperated trainer and anxious, awkward student, and progressed to friend and mentor and then to the father figure Jim never had. There were so many times where Blinky believed in him and was proud of Jim, and you can tell by the way Jim looks at him, that it is something that's been missing in his life. I just love them and I want Jim to have his endlessly supportive and loving troll dad.

Phoenix Fan Fusion - Day 1

Friday was quite an interesting day for me! It was my first time back in my old hometown since December and honestly.. I was expecting way worse temperatures then we ended up getting.

I went as Emesis Blue!Scout for the first day! Most people understood it was Scout, but not many recognized it as Emesis Blue Scout.

I met some TF2 cosplayers, mainly just cisgender dudes who didn't want to talk to me though. Thank you to the BLU Scout who didn't turn me away!!

I saw a variety of cosplays this year! It never felt like I was seeing one character cosplayed too often. I saw some Shaun of the Dead cosplayers, Ruby from RWBY, Snufkin from the Moomins, some characters from Pizza Tower, and even Claire from Trollhunters!

I ended my evening with the Dragstravaganza! Quite the diverse show too!! Not only did they have your classic drag queens and kings, they had transgender men, transgender women, and non-binary folks! Shout out to the trans guy who showed off his top surgery scars in a Pyramidhead cosplay!

I was exhausted around the end. But there was so much more to come!

one of those things that i've never really debated on is jim's deadname, i think i've made some mention of him not figuring shit out until his teens but it would be so funny to have his deadname be mine. (also like. u dont have to figure out a deadname for trans charas they can just. exist without that dragging them down ha)

tho maybe toby starts playing with new names since his egg doesnt crack until even later since being a guy is just one of his collected genders until he starts playing with nonbinary / agender / genderfluidity that he starts trying out other names.

jim is pretty defined by his gender - though he's nonbinary - he's still more binary - binary - binary than toby or claire, his gender is also just defined as that guy over there with the horns and fangs and 'creature in the woods'. he's the next door neighbour boy but also the cryptid in your backyard tending to your garden and eating the weeds.

I have done some Pokemon AU doodles a long time ago, so wanted to share in the Pokemon AU love! (Granted, I turned the characters INTO Pokemon, but hey, they could just be trainers of the Pokemon too lol) Strickler was a Grovyle/Noivern fusion, Nomura a Lurantis/Salazzle fusion, (Made the Changelings fusions to differentiate them from "normal" Pokemonblol but I figured those Pokemon suited their Changeling forms), had Claire as Gothorita because the aesthetic kinda fits, Toby as Pignite because orange and friend-shaped and also Fighting-type (fits the warhammer vibes imo), Jim as Lucario because blue and also Mega Evolution could be either like his troll transformation or his donning of armour, Angor Rot as Houndoom because the horns translate so well, and also "You are a dog and this is your leash", like come ON, it totally fits lmaoo

Anyway, those may be what I turned them into, but I feel like those Pokemon could also just fit as Pokemon they would own as trainers, idk!

My initial thought for Strickler and Nomura was ditto because of the whole changing thing but based on how they look I love the fusions you came up with! They really suit the changeling forms so well

I actually was thinking of Galarian zigzagoon for Claire but I think we had the same thought process with the whole black and white aesthetic, and I do love gothorita for her. I think she would have both of them on her team actually.

For Toby I was actually thinking of roggenrola because of his whole geology thing but pignite is very Toby-vibes in terms of appearance

And I actually also was thinking about lucario for Jim! And for the exact same reasons that you chose lucario lol

I didn't even think about Angor Rot but Houndoom does fit so well!

I was also thinking of porygon 2 or porygon Z for krel but I'm not sure what Aja would go for hmm I think she would have a fighting type pokemon so I'm leaning towards Machoke

And then for Douxie Im very set on either shiny umbreon just because I think Archie would be an umbreon (and also umbreon is my favorite and douxie is my favorite asalksdjfh) although I wish there was a dragon type pokemon that looked more like Archie because that would be so fun but alas
