I’ve seen loads of people atp talking about “when did Imogen realize she was in love with Laudna”, was it after being separated for weeks for the first time in years? Was it when Laudna died? Was it when they fought? And maybe Laura will talk about it on 4-Sided Dive and we’ll get a concrete answer. And I don’t mean to step on anyone’s headcanons or anything if you are mapping it to one of those moments.

And I see people talking about when Yu asked Imogen if her and Laudna were romantically involved and talking about how Imogen had never considered that before, and maybe I’m missing something, but that’s... just not how that scene reads to me, honestly. I watch the way Imogen reacts there and I see, despite the fight they were having and everything going on, someone reaching for any reason to say anything other than the hard truth she’s so frustrated with, trying to find anything remotely plausible that isn’t just “...No.”

Because the thing is, the way it comes across to me is that Imogen fell in love with Laudna about 2 years before the start of the campaign. The way she talked about hearing Laudna’s thoughts and it being like hearing music for the first time... that girl was in love right away. Day 1.

That's why they're always so desperate to downplay her intelligence, skills, and general importance to the story. So many of their "theories" are based on the idea that George split Arya's original outline story between them (with no evidence btw), thus reducing Arya's importance and increasing Sansa's. For Jonsa specifically, it's like you said...it requires replacing Arya and slotting Sansa into her position 🤷🏾‍♀️. That's why they steal "what do you know of my heart" and any other meaningful quote about Jon and Arya's relationship, try and force parallels between Sansa + Alys/Ygritte/Val/Lyanna/etc., claim Arya is just a proxy for family (i.e. Sansa), and inflate the few times Jon actually thinks about her. It's not surprising they love the show so much cause that's the same thing D&D did! There's no chance the books are going to play out the same way which is exactly why I'm hopeful about TWOW's release 🙏🏾

I’m not joking when I say that there are some people you should absolutely not attempt to fight. I can confidently say after watching so many high school fights that most teenagers can’t fight worth beans. I’ve gotten accidentally stuck between two teenagers fighting, and the punches they were throwing - some of which hit me - were weak as hell. That said, there are some teenagers you don’t fight because they will absolutely put you in the hospital.

I don’t care if you think that they’re a bully and you think you’re standing up for yourself. There’s a difference between the high school bully who needs a good humbling, and the teenager who takes beatings at home unleashing all of their anger and frustration on any fool who gets in their way. I have had students put other students in the hospital before. I’ve had students who went to jail. Don’t put your life at risk for a fight you will most likely lose. Again, I am not joking right now.

There’s too much senseless youth death and incarceration over this. It’s not worth it, and those people don’t need another punch to send them over the edge.
