Danny, after going on a walk through the Ghost Zone, comes across a very friendly couple who quasi-adopt him.
They're super cool, too!
They used to be a part of a traveling circus, and they know how to do all sorts of neat tricks and flips and they teach him how to do them too!
Honestly, with their help his flying becomes next level; they forced him to obey gravity long enough to learn how to ignore it without using his abilities, and as such he gets a greater understanding of how to maneuver through it.
So when his Freshman class goes to Gotham on a field trip (scare tactic to prevent them from becoming drop outs because "oh if you drop out you'll resort to being a thug and you'll be trapped in this cursed city foreverrrrrr ooooooooo~") Danny decides to show off to Sam and Tucker in a small park.
He does a quadruple flip off of a wall he ran up.
Barbara stares in disbelief through her cameras.
That.
That shouldn't be possible?
She calls Dick to ask if he had any siblings or cousins he wasn't aware of.

The anti ecto laws go into effect just before S2E2 “Doctors Disorders”. So when Danny’s entire class, including Sam and Tucker, becomes sick with ghost flu and start exhibiting ghost powers, the GIW swoop in and cart all the sick kids off to a GIW facility. They claim the kids are all ecto contaminated and therefore fall under the anti ecto laws! And the GIW aren’t concerned with trying to help the kids get better. Instead they’re experimenting on them. Danny knows he can’t get into the GIW facility to rescue them on his own without getting captured. So he does the only thing he can do, he goes to the Justice League for help.
The Justice League, and the Justice Dark are all together in the watchtower for a meeting when Danny shows up. He’s an absolute mess because his friends and classmates have all been taken by the GIW. And he latches onto the first person in the room that he sees. Which just so happens to be Batman. Now Batman has a sobbing hysterical ghost child clinging to him! Everyone is super confused. It takes them half an hour to calm Danny down enough that he can explain what the problem is.
When they find out about the anti ecto laws and what the GIW have done they are all horrified and pissed!! They immediately set out to rescue Danny’s classmates. And if they just so happen to accidentally destroy the GIW facility along the way well none of them are to broken up about it. After the kids are all rescued, cured from the ghost flu, and returned to their parents, the Justice League sets out to get the anti ecto laws repealed. They reveal to the whole world just what the GIW did to a whole class of innocent human children while using the anti ecto laws as cover to do it! The whole world is outraged! It only takes two days for the laws to be repealed, and for the GIW to be permanently disbanded.
A few days later Danny Phantom does a live tv interview where he answers questions about ghosts and the ghost zone. He hopes that this will help people better understand ghosts and their true nature.

MiqoMarch Day 23 - Midnight
With their intended voyage into the void only a few days out, Arsay thought it the upmost importance that she steal her partner away to Kugane, that they might share one more fond memory together should things not turn out the way they plan in the thirteenth. It was as they crossed the very same bridge the miqo'te had once sat on together two years prior when Arsay gifted Y'shtola with a bracelet matching that of her own. A token of endearment which, Arsay confessed, she would have given to her fellow scion back then, had nerves not gotten the best of her. While their relationship has undoubtedly changed since the initial purchase of the jewellery, the sentiment remained the same. Y'shtola was someone who Arsay loved dearly and she will forever be grateful to have the seeker's life intertwined with her own. No matter where their free spirits took them, they would always hold each other in their hearts. A promise Y'shtola was more than willing to keep. She slipped the the string of beads around her wrist without a second thought. They were never to come off, not even when the two decided to delay their return to Radz-at-Han in favour of a private bath at the dead of night.

“So,” Jiang Cheng said.
It was a very ominous sort of ‘so’.
“Hi, Jiang-xiong,” Nie Huaisang said. “Have you eaten? I trust you been well. I’ve been all right, myself. Things are pretty quiet. The weather’s been pretty nice, though I don’t think it’s ever as nice in Qinghe as it is in Yunmeng. Has it been raining much?”
Jiang Cheng was giving him a death glare.
“…lots of rain, huh?”
“I don’t care about the vast majority of what you did to get revenge on Jin Guangyao,” Jiang Cheng said flatly. “But you put Jin Ling in danger.”
“Not…much danger.” At Jiang Cheng’s incredulous look, Nie Huaisang shrugged. “He kept him alive this long, didn’t he? I figured Jin Ling was pretty safe, as these things went. It was only at the very last moment that he actually threatened him directly – and Jin Ling wasn’t even supposed to be there.”
Judging from Jiang Cheng’s expression, he wasn’t buying Nie Huaisang’s argument.
“All right, fine,” Nie Huaisang said. “Still, you came to visit me, which means that you’re not just here to yell and tell me that our friendship is over, you could do that by letter. You want something from me?”
Jiang Cheng struggled for a moment, then grimaced. “Yeah, I want something.”
He was so predictable sometimes.
“Tell me what you need me to do to get your friendship back, and I’ll do it.” Nie Huaisang thought about it for a moment. “Within reason.”
“I want you to help me fix my relationship with Wei Wuxian.”
“…I said within reason, Jiang-xiong,” Nie Huaisang said, horrified. “Do you want me to bring the moon down and give it to you while I’m at it?”
“It’s not that bad!” Jiang Cheng protested, except, no, really, it was exactly that bad. Years and years of deception and betrayal and bad feelings on both sides, an incredibly knotty tangle of emotions with no one completely right and no one completely wrong and debts and anger and – it was bad, okay? “Anyway, you managed to fix Jin Guangyao, didn’t you, even though he was Chief Cultivator and you had basically no evidence? Fix this, too.”
“It’s in no way comparable!”
“Listen, you said you wanted to know what you needed to do to get us to be all right with each other again, right? This is it. Do it.”
Nie Huaisang opened his mouth in protest.
“I won’t accept anything else,” Jiang Cheng said, and crossed his arms in a way that suggested finality. “You’re the mastermind, aren’t you? So mastermind!”
-
Nie Huaisang really didn’t want to lose Jiang Cheng’s friendship, now that he knew there was a possibility of keeping it, but he also had no idea how to even start going about fixing the unfixable. He flattered himself to think that he knew Jiang Cheng pretty well after all these years, but based on everything that had happened, he didn’t understand Wei Wuxian well enough to know where to start.
Clearly, he needed help. No, more than help – he needed expertise.
Currently, Nie Huaisang was sitting in one of the rooms in the Cloud Recesses the Lan sect used to host guests waiting to see the sect leader on business. Of course, with Lan Xichen in seclusion at the moment, the actual person taking petitions was the person Nie Huaisang come to see: Lan Wangji.
He didn’t expect to be seen to quickly, the way he might have when he’d been on familiar terms with Lan Xichen – he was a Great Sect leader, yes, and an allied one, and so ought to be accorded first priority, but Lan Wangji was also a petty little brat sometimes. Lan Qiren had come by in an unofficial capacity, looking long-suffering, and they’d had an unexpectedly enjoyable conversation on the subject of the rules relating to filial piety and revenge, which Nie Huaisang interpreted as possibly the first time Lan Qiren had ever voluntarily given him a good grade on anything.
(He was weirdly moved by it, but mostly still traumatized. He’d hated school.)
After the old teacher left, Nie Huaisang sat around waiting and drinking tea, amusing himself by thinking of all the ways this forthcoming conversation could go wrong, and just when he’d gotten to the end of the fourth scenario, Wei Wuxian himself came strolling in.
“Oh, hi, Wei-xiong!” Nie Huaisang said brightly, not allowing considerations like shame to apply. “How’ve you been?”
“I’m good, I’m good,” Wei Wuxian said. “And you?”
“Well, I’m –”
“It works out quite well that you’re here, actually,” Wei Wuxian said, barreling onwards without waiting for the answer. “There was something I was hoping you might help me with.”
Nie Huaisang hid his face behind a fan. “Who, me…? I mean, I’m always glad to help, if it’s within my power – and, I mean, I’m glad you asked! And here I was worried that Wei-xiong didn’t like me anymore.”
Wei Wuxian waved a dismissive hand and sat down.
“I’m sure it’s something you can help with,” he said, smiling in a way Nie Huaisang didn’t like. “After all, you led the entire cultivation world around by the nose to catch Jin Guangyao, didn’t you?”
“I wouldn’t say that…”
“Well, I would. This should be no problem in comparison!”
Which meant, of course, that it was going to be a problem, because anything was easy in comparison.
“Oh, Wei-xiong, I really don’t know…”
“Don’t give me that! At least listen to it, okay?”
Nie Huaisang was always willing to listen. He nodded.
“I need you to use your mastermind skills to help me fix my relationship with Jiang Cheng.”
Nie Huaisang blinked once, long and slow. “With…Jiang Cheng?”
“That’s right!”
“But…why me…”
“Everything is just a complete mess between us,” Wei Wuxian said plainly. “It’s probably mostly my fault, and I’ve probably wronged him in ways I don’t even remember, but – I’d like to fix it. I’ve tried to fix it. I even tried leaving it alone to see if that would help, and it definitely didn’t. Everything I’ve done only makes it worse! So I need someone else to manage it.”
“And you picked…me?”
“Don’t put yourself down, Nie-xiong. You’ll manage!”
“I haven’t even agreed yet!”
“You need something from Lan Zhan, don’t you?” Wei Wuxian said, grinning at him. “You’ll agree.”
“Of course I’ll agree,” Nie Huaisang said with a huff, tossing his head. “You’re a dear friend, Wei-xiong! Why wouldn’t I agree?”
Anyway, he had to do the work for Jiang Cheng anyway. Might as well score some points flattering Wei Wuxian while he was at it.
“You’re so kind,” Wei Wuxian said, rolling his eyes at him. “Thanks, Nie-xiong. I look forward to hearing what our next move is. Have fun having tea with Lan Zhan!”
-
“You did this to yourself,” Lan Wangji said solemnly.
“I know,” Nie Huaisang said. He was lying on the floor, arms and legs splayed to the sides as he stared up at the roof in an effort to express the depths of his desolation. “I’m well aware.”
“Mm.”
“I’m having a crisis over it, even.”
“Mm. Could you have the crisis elsewhere?”
“Don’t be mean, Lan Zhan. Of course not. I need your help!”
“Denied,” Lan Wangji said, as if Nie Huaisang really were just one of the random petitioners he had to deal with these days.
“If you don’t help me, I’ll fix up their relationship so good that you’ll have to deal with Jiang Cheng all the time,” Nie Huaisang said threateningly, and noted with amusement the way Lan Wangji’s brow twitched at the thought of having to share either space, time, or Wei Wuxian with Jiang Cheng. “Listen, no matter what the others think, I’m not really a schemer or a mastermind! I just ran with the course of events and tried to change them when they looked like they weren’t going my way, that’s all.”
“I wish you luck,” Lan Wangji said, immoveable as an iceberg.
“If I try to solve this, I’m only going to make it worse,” Nie Huaisang said. “That’s not even a threat. It’s just a fact.”
“I look forward to seeing the end results,” Lan Wangji said.
Cruel, indifferent man.
“I don’t even have a good model on how to solve this,” Nie Huaisang complained. “I mean, I don’t think I know of any relationships that splintered and then were actually repaired? The only thing that comes even close is what er-ge was up to with da-ge and san-ge all that time ago, when he was trying to get them to like each other again – of course, san-ge ruined that by committing murder, but I think we can probably avoid that here! I mean, I think we can. And it’s not workable, anyway, because…”
He frowned. Nothing was coming to mind.
Nothing at all.
Well then.
“Actually…”
Lan Wangji actually put down his brush. He looked mildly alarmed. “Nie Huaisang,” he said. “What are you thinking of doing?”
“Nothing, nothing…nothing at all…”
-
“How did this happen?” Jiang Cheng wondered.
“No idea,” Wei Wuxian said. “But at least we’re friends again, right?”
“Not just friends,” Jiang Cheng said. “Isn’t that right, da-ge?”
Wei Wuxian puffed himself up like a peacock. “You bet, er-di!”
“The sacrifices I make for my friends amaze even me,” Nie Huaisang said to a stunned-looking Lan Wangji. “I’m really all heart, aren’t I?”
“Nie Huaisang,” Lan Wangji said solemnly. “I am going to kill you.”
Nie Huaisang cackled. “No, you’re not,” he said cheerfully. “Or else my da-ge and er-ge might have something to say about how you’re treating their san-di…and I, at least, promise not to kill either of them!”

random thought, feel free to ignore- but i wonder, considering the similarity in location, if the "selunite enclave outside the city" aylin and isobel mentioned would be hector's monastery in this worldstate?
HOLY SHIT. \o/
Hang on, I need to drop everything and roll with this idea because I love it. You just made my whole evening.
------
"Father Enric!"
The young acolyte is breathing hard as he comes to a stop inside the small chapel on the north end of Silverlight Monastery.
Enric, startled from his prayers, looks up with a raised eyebrow, then slowly, painfully shifts himself to his feet. (Age is telling on him, after all these years, despite all the training and discipline to which he has devoted his life.) "Calm yourself, Jakob," he says gently, keeping his voice deliberately calm in the face of the younger man's agitation. "Speak softly and without heat. What is it?"
In truth, he can guess. Another sally by the Absolutists - that terrible cult that has risen from the south. They have made three attacks against the monastery thus far, and the walls have held against their arrows and battering rams-- but not without damage, and not without casualty to the monks and clerics within.
The last attack was only three days ago, he thinks bleakly. We are not ready for another so soon.
But Jakob's news surprises him - it is not that at all.
"Two visitors on the road, Father Abbot, sir," the boy says. He is trying to maintain his composure but failing-- there is fear in his expression, and also a sort of perplexed excitement. "They come alone, but armed. One of them is an aasimar, father, and Brother Lloyd on the wall says that where the moonlight touched her, she glowed like a beacon!"
Enric's eyes widen. He reaches out to put a hand on Jakob's shoulder. "See that they are brought to my office at once. And wake someone in the kitchens."
-----
An hour or so later, there is a soft knock at his office door.
"Come in." He turns from where he is standing by the window, and finds himself meeting the eyes of a woman some three or four inches taller than he himself.
Tumblr media
She puts an arm across her chest, bows respectfully. "In the name of the Lady we both serve, I greet you, Father Abbot," she says gravely.
Her eyes are so pale as to be almost white, and her skin to match, shot through with lines of gold like a piece of mended pottery. The wings at her back would likely stretch the width of the small office if she extended them, but one is furled at her back and the other wrapped around the shoulders of a smaller and rather exhausted-looking human woman, who is leaned up against the aasimar's side as if huddled against a tree in a storm.
"And I you," Enric answers, inclining his head politely. "You are--" He hesitates. "I hope you will forgive the presumption, but I hope my guess is correct. Are you the Dame Aylin that once walked these lands as our lady's right hand?"
She smiles slowly. "I am. It may be told by the moonlight upon my sword and the righteous fire within my heart."
Enric allows himself the briefest flash of pride at the monastery's record-keeping; even to the armor she wears, she looks exactly as the histories describe her. But that pride is almost lost in a much greater wave of emotion that is pure awe, for Dame Aylin (those same histories say) is the daughter of Selune herself. She has not been seen in the flesh for over a century. The last records of her are in letters from Moonrise before that cursed place fell to darkness.
"You honor us with your presence at Silverlight," he says. He starts to kneel, but she shakes her head impatiently, reaches out and takes him by the arm.
"We have come to aid your fight," she says briskly. "For we have seen the darkness of the Absolute face to face, and know the struggle that has set upon you these many weeks. My darling Isobel and I shall be the sword and shield of my mother on your behalf."
The human at Aylin's side -- Isobel? -- smiles wearily. "After a night's rest, I should hope," she murmurs, then adds to Enric, "We have come many leagues in a short time, that we might be of service to you."
Enric's practiced self-control is serving him well here -- but only with difficulty. The urge to simply gape in astonishment at the two new arrivals is considerable. "To stand at your side against this evil is a blessing none of us would have dreamed of," he says softly. "We would gladly accept, and offer you in return all that is ours in sustenance and shelter."
Aylin looks pleased. "A bargain it is, then," she says. Lifting one eyebrow, she studies Enric thoughtfully for a moment. "I see shades of him in you, most certainly - the shades which would have been passed by a lifetime's teaching. I am sure you are the man Hector has often spoken of. Enric of Trielta."
Enric is so startled that for a moment his self-control slips utterly. And though some of the surprise is at hearing this divine creature utter his name, more is for the source she mentions for her knowledge.
"Hector?" he asks. His eyebrows lift in sudden urgent question. "Forgive me-- do you speak of Hector Carlisle?"
Twin smiles flash onto the faces of both women at the name. "She does indeed," Isobel says.
"Hector is alive?" Even Enric himself is a little surprised at the rush of joy that goes through him at the news. "We all thought-- when the attack came upon the city, that terrible ship... we thought he must be dead. He was only in the market long enough to purchase supplies, but he never came back..."
"I can assure you," Aylin says, "Hector has not only climbed from the pit of that ship but triumphed over forces the likes of which we may all fervently hope you can never comprehend. You should be deeply proud to call him brother."
"As I am, and have been, and will be. Moonmaiden be praised... you are truly a bearer of all the best of news."
A flash of something that might be humor goes through the aasimar's eyes. "Should you expect anything else of Dame Aylin?" she says, raising one eyebrow.
"I--" He blinks, stammering uncertainly.
"My love jests," Isobel says, a little dryly. "It is hard to tell sometimes, I know."
Aylin makes a soft snorting noise but does not dispute the statement.
"But what she says of Hector is true," the human goes on. "He saved us both from a deep darkness at Moonrise Towers, after a century of loss, and has gone on to the city to face down the heart of the Absolute. I will not tell you his story while he still remains to perhaps one day tell you himself... but I will say that he speaks of you, of this place, every day-- with loyalty and gratitude."
She hesitates, then adds delicately, "You may, I suspect, not quite recognize him as the man who left, when he returns again."
That is a sobering thought, and Enric has to pause to consider it for a while before answering. "If he has faced the darkness so closely as you say, it would be foolish of me to expect it," he says finally. "But I cannot express how much it gladdens me to hear that he lives. He has been greatly missed, these last months."
He gestures to the chairs in front of his desk. "Please. Sit. I will have food and drink brought, and I hope you will tell me more of what you have seen, and what still lies ahead to do."

Day 24 - Stood-Up
"What are you grinning about so stupidly?"
A'viloh, absorbed in his thoughts, startled up and saw Rael standing in front of him. "What? I’m not grinning.", he claimed and tried to make a serious face.
A sly smile formed on the Viera’s face as they sat down beside him on the bench at the main plaza of Vesper Bay.
"You had a nice night I assume?", they asked casually. "Maybe with Thancred?"
"What?!", A'viloh couldn’t believe his ears. "No! What makes you think that??"
Rael made an innocent face. "Oh, what a shame. Tataru must have mistaken you for someone else then…"
"Tataru?! That little snitch!", A'volih exclaimed angrily and involuntarily confirmed Rael’s theory. Upon realising so, he turned red like a tomato.
Rael grinned at him. "So it was you after all, who she saw last night accompanying Thancred to his room?"
"She said that?!", he asked incredulously.
"Not exactly…", Rael admitted. "I was looking for you this morning. After I heard what happened in Thanalan I wanted to see how you are doing. Little did I know that you already found someone else to console you…"
"Oh, stop smiling at me like that!", A'viloh scolded. "It’s not at all like you’re thinking! Why is Tataru talking to you about this anyway??"
Rael raised an eyebrow. "When I asked her if she knew where you are, she said you were with Thancred. She seemed a little busy, I think it simply slipped out. To her defence, she refused to elaborate much further when I asked about it…"
A'viloh groaned, imagining that by now probably all of the Scions and half of Vesper Bay may have heard where he spent the night. "Okay, listen up. It’s honestly not what it looks like! And I am aware how stupid that just sounded!"
Reluctantly he told Rael the whole embarrassing story of how they had gotten drunk the night before and then had ended up in Thancred’s room at the Waking Sands. But certainly nothing more than that, mind you!
Rael laughed heartily at his expense, which made A'viloh just more embarrassed than he already was. But on the other hand he could really use a second opinion on all of this, and who else could he ask? Coyly he stared at his hands wondering if Rael would make fun of him if he asked for their opinion.
"Why are you looking like that?", they asked seeing through him immediately. "Is there anything you haven’t told me yet?"
A'viloh glanced at the Viera. “Thancred may have invited me to meet him in Ul'dah this evening."
Rael raised their eyebrows. "Invited like let’s go drinking together or invited like on a date?"
"He didn’t specify that…", A'viloh admitted with a sigh.
Rael chuckled. "Well, only one way to find out then." Then their face got a little more serious. "Just be a little careful with him, alright? He’s got quite the reputation around here. He may not be serious about this…"
A'viloh rolled his eyes. "Alright, mom. I know, I know…"
***
Later that day as A'viloh walked through Ul'dah and stepped into the Gold Court, he realised why Thancred had chosen this spot as their meeting point. A'viloh hadn’t been in the city for at least two weeks and had forgotten that currently a celebration took place in all of the three city states.
He had heard that it was an occasion to pay tribute to the people who had lost their lives at the Seventh Umbral Calamity. The memory of the Calamity and especially how he had spent it instantly made him feel sad. For a second he wondered if all of this was maybe a horrible idea and if he just should excuse himself and go home but then he shook his head. There was no use in brooding about things that can’t be changed anymore. Kikipu had taught him to look forward instead of to the past. And he wanted to do that, he really did…
A firework tore him from his thoughts and made him look up to the sky. The sun was already setting and the sky slowly changed from orange to pink and purple, while one firework after the other exploded colorfully. The lanterns in the city began to glow one by one, not just the regular ones but also dozens of blue crystal-shaped ones they had put up especially for the festival. Maybe Thancred and him had wanted to go here and see the festivities last night, before A'viloh had drunkenly stumbled into a puddle face first and cut their excursion short.
The whole place was decorated with lights and banners, garlands and flowers. A mixture of a warm golden glow and the sparkling blue of the crystals, crowned with the colorful fireworks above. It was a breathtaking view, A'viloh couldn’t remember ever seeing anything like it before. It was truly romantic!
He immediately scolded himself for that thought. Probably he was interpreting way too much into this and it was all just a funny coincidence. Thancred had most likely only wanted to be kind and compensate for how disastrously his last attempt to cheer him up had ended. A'viloh let his eyes wander over the whole plaza but Thancred was nowhere to be seen yet, which wasn’t surprising considering that he was half an hour too early.
The Miqo'te decided to sit down on a bench in the middle of the circular courtyard and waited. Nervously he straightened his shirt. He hadn’t dressed up especially fancy, that hadn’t seemed appropriate but he still had made sure to look presentable. Well, anything would look better than how he had looked this morning, so that hadn't been too difficult. Thancred’s clothes, which he had borrowed, lay freshly cleaned and precisely folded in a small package at this side and he intended to return them as soon as possible.
While he waited A'viloh couldn’t help but wonder where Thancred planned to go with him. The Hyur knew this city a lot better than A'viloh had gotten to know it yet and probably could show him a few interesting spots. Maybe he should have asked Momodi for advice, she always had a friendly ear for him and usually offered very useful tips, but it was certainly to late for that now…
By now it was about ten minutes after the time they had agreed to meet here. Don’t be late Thancred had said before his departure from the Waking sands and now he was the one delayed. A'viloh didn’t mind it though, he could imagine that the conversation Thancred had to conduct with the Immortal Flames wasn’t a very comfortable one. Maybe it had all taken more time than he had expected. Thancred would probably be here any moment now…
About half an hour later A'viloh slowly started to get impatient. Could anything have occured that delayed him? He had said something about doing research for Minfilia at the Thaumaturges’ archives. Most likely he had forgotten what time it was, brooding over some complicated manuscripts, or he had simply fallen asleep in the dim lighting of the Arrzaneth Ossuary. Who could blame him after their binge at Vesper Bay the night before?…
In the end A'viloh waited there for almost two hours. By then he was nervously pacing around the plaza racking his brain in worry about whatever could have happened. Should he go and ask for him at the Hall of Flames or the Thaumaturges’ Guild? But what if he appeared here in the meantime and they missed each other? No, if Thancred wasn’t here yet it was unlikely that he thought A'viloh was still waiting for him, right?
So he first went to the Hall of Flames, where Flame Commander Swift confirmed that Thancred had been there until the early afternoon and then had left for the Thamaturges’ Guild. So that was A'viloh’s next stop. Carefully he peaked into the spacious main hall of the Arrzaneth Ossuary but there was no trace of Thancred either. He decided to ask Yayake for help, the receptionist of the guild and a friend of Rael’s. A'viloh had seen her a few times before when he had accompanied the Viera on some of their missions.
The receptionist luckily recognised him and explained that she had indeed seen Thancred earlier that day. He had spoken with the guildmaster and then spent a few hours going through their archives. But according to Yayake he had left hours ago. Way too early not to have made it in time for their meeting.
A'viloh left the building and at first tried to contact Thancred's linkpearl but he didn't answer. Then he contacted Tataru to ask if she had seen him return to the Waking Sands but she denied it.
Without any other clue where to look or who to ask A'viloh returned to the Gold Court for a last desperate attempt to find him but of course he wasn’t there either.
Defeated he sank down onto a bench and wondered if Rael had been right after all. What if Thancred really had not been serious about this? Maybe he wasn’t interested in A'viloh at all and only wanted to make fun of him. Had he watched him from somewhere and laughed at stupid A'vi‘s naivety? That didn’t sound like the Thancred he knew but then again A'viloh started to wonder if he really knew him at all…

#i want to write that km prompt that just went up today :/ i cant but i want to#also was thinking abt married pierre n charles and how they spend their first night together.#like obviously they have sex! obviously. they just became a family of their own and theyre both insane abt Family Life#but like. maybe they think that. bc this has been their whole lives. they can pretend like nothing has changed bc really nothing has#all that's changed is that there's now a legal document saying theyre married. everything else feels like it was before. so like.#they try for quiet! and normal. they call it a night after one round. except charles cant sleep even if he's been tired all weekend#and he just. cant stop thinking about that one little change. how pierre is his forever now. how he is pierre's just the same.#pierre is out cold and charles just stares at his sleeping form half the night so full of love for this man here beside him.#eventually pierre wakes up to go pee and charles is half awake (finally sleepy after HOURS) when he comes back to bed#''why are you still awake...husband'' pierre whispers and charles just laughs#covers his face. answers ''i dont know...husband'' just to make pierre laugh. but then gets all soft and serious and confesses#that he's just. thinking about their love. yk? something tender and sentimental. pierre kisses him softly in his sleepy honesty#and they fuck (''make love!!!!'' charles protests later in the morning) again and it's just about the belonging of it all. just to be close#just bc they can and this was always how it was meant 2 b! matching rings for real. a life shared. a love so long-winded it will never end.#wow i watch one (1) scene from a show and go off. i think ive got some pent up insanity to release.

Wonderbabe here, sobbing and fangirling over your last ToKo piece (and also the other two stories you reblogged)!!! ToKo writers are sooo talented, I admire all of you a lot because you make my heart flutter!!!
Aww, you're too sweet! "Can You Please Just Hold Me?" came right from the heart, so I'm glad it touched you too.
@sokka-beifong and @twinkle-toph are both super talented. (“i meant it when i said i wanted to start a family with you.” and “He’s always like this” were both so sweet.) I know they're both primarily Tokka shippers/writers, but multishippers be multishipping and you and I are both stupendously grateful for it.
And speaking of heart-fluttering, Eyes of Mist (from the Toko arranged marriage list) was completed last month, so I sat down and read the whole thing from the beginning yesterday. It is so, so soft. By the time I finished, I was in a complete puddle of goo. (Reminded me a lot of A Tale of Earth and Fire and @awesomeavocadolove's The Problem With Zuko, but fluffier.)
