sure ango may have betrayed every organization under the sun but tachihara put in the effort to build up the perfect stereotypical gangstersona and act his silly little heart out for the perfect plot twist so we all know who deserves the award for best port mafia betrayal

On the way to work Steve drops by Eddie’s to give him flowers because he wants to ‘woo him properly’. He is so proud of himself when he presents them to Eddie and sees him blush. Steve stays staring at him, rocking on his heels ‘well, are you going to smell them?’

So Eddie leans in and takes a very delicate sniff and Steve insists that he won’t smell them properly like that and all but forces Eddie to shove his head into the bouquet which Eddie very reluctantly does. He comes back up from the flowers and thanks Steve. Feeling pleased, Steve kisses Eddie on the cheek and goes back to his car and off to work.

Eddie immediately starts sneezing and rubbing at his eyes. He’s full on scream sneezing but maintains a death grip on the flowers. This is when Wayne comes out of the bathroom with a raised eyebrow aimed at Eddie. Between sneezes Eddie manages to get out

‘I can’t tell him Wayne. He bought me flowers. Steve! Steve Harrington !! Bought me flowers! I am NOT telling him anything.’ Wayne just pats him on the head as he passes Eddie who has taken a sudden seat on the couch. ‘Fuck, what if he wants flowers at our wedding? FUCK!’ Eddie sneezes again

I saw the ask about Price maybe topping ghost. Had me thinking about maybe ghost having a rough day and is all riled up and he goes to soap at first but nothing was working so now he resorts to price. While maybe at first Ghost is reluctant and price is all like "Simon poppet, relax and let me take of you" and gets Simon relaxed (iykyk). But it would seem Price would be on bottom for Simon, but we come to find out in very rare instances Simon is a sub.

There's very little that I would consider too far for me (seriously just look at last year's kinktober fics 🤭).

I think Price would be the only one that could get Simon close to subbing. He might not fully be able to give in, but if anyone is going to break that man down like that, it's gonna be Price. Simon doesn't allow vulnerability easily, but perhaps on the rare occasion, he might allow someone else he explicitly trusts to take him to that place. 💚

Obikin body swap idea: getting to see how the other half lives. Anakin just being super flustered by the idea that when he touches himself he's touching his master even for innocent things like running his fingers through his hair or getting to touch his beard.

Meanwhile Obi-Wan is trying to cope with how overstimulating Anakin's connection to the force is and even the best shields only dampen it slightly. Inner peace? He doesn't know her.

ooo i feel like when we talk about obikin body swap, this is always what we go with (overwhelmed by his master's body! anakin and overwhelmed by how anakin experiences the force! obi-wan), and it's good it's great i think these are great interpretations of the characters and i can see why it's such a popular take on obikin body swap

so what if that but also:

anakin overwhelmed by how little time obi-wan actually has to himself and how busy he is and him realizing that it's not that obi-wan purposefully doesn't spend as much time with him as he wants it's that obi-wan's body walks down a corridor and two younglings want him to give them a sparring demonstration, four Council meetings are scheduled, and one archives padawan is coming incessantly wanting to ask if he's ready for book club this week because she has thoughts on the last chapter

obi-wan unused to how strong he feels, how easy the Force suddenly is to manipulate; sure it's loud and i have a soft spot for that sort of headcanon about how anakin experiences the force, but i think we can't forget it wouldn't just just be overstimulating for anakin: it makes him powerful as fuck. obi-wan feels tired and the mechno arm hurts and it's straining his shoulder so he decides to use the force to call his datapaad over from its charging spot, but it zooms over so fast it shatters on impact with the wall

anakin overwhelmed by the new and unfamiliar aches and pains of obi-wan's body, the way he hurts when he wakes up, the way long space travel makes him feel sick and stiff

hmmm something about dominik haunting the narrative in king of scars. everything nikolai does is at least a little bit for him. he learns about the life of average ravkan people by meeting dominik's family. he starts gaining influence in politics just so he can improve dominik's life. and then he promises dominik that he won't let ravka break him.

that promise fucking haunts him. it follows him wherever he goes. it's the driving force behind everything he does, every step he takes to heal the centuries-old wounds in ravka. it's what drives him to do better, be better.

dominik is always there, in the back of his mind: this country gets you in the end. always pushing him to do more, because he couldn't save dominik and so he has to save ravka (for dominik) (because he promised) (because he loved him)

Moral Orel doesn't seem 100% like a show I'd feel seen in if you don't know me but then I remember the episode with the special ed kids and underneath the usual satire on extremist bible belt religion it reminds me WAY too much of how actual special ed departments treated me and other kids growing up.

Just wanted to mention this to someone who does art and get their opinion on it:

Sometimes I see some artists do redraws of their old artworks or characters and think "Wow, uh... their older art looks better." Sometimes it's only mildly better, but other times it's vastly better. Like the Upgrade, Go Back! meme.

I understand that art skills are supposed to develop and change, hopefully for the better, but sometimes it just feels like they got... worse? Somehow? Idk. Maybe it's because they were copying another artist's style while finding their own, and it's their own style that doesn't vibe with me? Just curious what your thoughts are about this.

Also, your art has consistently been great, so this isn't directed at you.

I do see this on occasion yeah! usually (in my experience anyway) its because people take a sharp turn towards a stylization that either isn't to your or most people's tastes, or that they don't understand or are still developing. switching up how you stylize your art is like starting over in a sense, you're changing from what you have practice with and that's always going to cause you to revert some as you have to re-learn things you understood in your previous style. i had a pretty big style shift in 2014 when i took up the basis for how my art looks now, and i remember feeling like some of the stuff i was drawing might have looked better if i was using my older style instead. that's something artists just have to push through and figure out, and they'll likely come out of it a better artist than they were before. constructive critiques are a good way for them to figure out why their art might not be as "good" as it used to be, if they're open for those.

art is not always a linear journey, and i would also say things like passion and motivation have a part in it too. feeling inspired sparks you to make something the best it can be, if you're not feeling it (and esp if that feeling lasts for a long time) it'll leave you making decisions you otherwise would not have let fly, and that can result in worse art. and some of it is just personal preference! it's not that their art is better or worse, it's just different now, and maybe that doesn't vibe with you the same way their old stuff did. and that's fine 👍

why is it that one of the main criticisms i see of ronance is “oh but robin dating nancy is such a betrayal of steve!!! that’s his ex” (which...is such a fucked up way to look at things? robin isn’t just steve’s sidekick or whatever) but what about if it were vickie x steve? or any girl for that matter? that can be seen as a betrayal of robin. vickie was her first real crush she shared with steve during their friendship, so wouldn’t steve dating her be just as hurtful? or should she have another crush, and steve were to also have a crush on that same girl and date her, wouldn’t that be just as hurtful?

i have a couple theories as to why some of y’all hone in on the ronance aspect, but i’m afraid you won’t like it.
