i am so emotional with harpocrates and dion's side quest. harpocrates who blames himself for not have offered dion his friendship and support besides the knowledge he shared with him when he was once his tutor. dion who feels so incredibly guilty for having destroyed his nation, what he held the most deer, who feels deeply ashamed and scared of what the person that inspired him all those years ago might think of him and his character after his deeds. harpocrates who doesn't blame him for another's ill intent but recognizes the anguish the prince battles with everyday and who wants to atone for his sense of personal failure towards him by gifting him the flower that represents his nation and making him know he isn't defined by his roots, that he is proud of the man the prince became. dion who is so thankful for the role the loresman had in his life but doesn't feel worthy of receiving the symbol of his people before fullfiling the duty he believes he has, si he defers the flower until after he bids his life against the one who ruined his nation to atone for the crimes he committed. harpocrates who plans cultivate wyvern tails for dion's return and bids farewell with an obvious sadness in his voice. dion who's reparation of his wrongdoings has been looking a bit too much like a forever depart...

Mkay so I was thinking about making music (probably on soundcloud). I make covers of songs but I use a bit crusher on the vocals. Sounds like a super awesome idea but i dont like how my voice sounds recorded. Rlly like anxious when ppl used to ask me to sing (thats why i dont do it any more, i only do it at home ) Like people have told me that i sound good but i dont think i am. You know what I don't think I suck more at video games now than I did as a kid. Not that much at least.

And yet. This Mario Party has all the old games I played on N64 and GameCube. This Mario Kart isn't all that different from the GC one either in terms of controls. And I lose all the time. Or at least I struggle more.

I thought about it and actually there are two reasons.

First one is graphics. Games have become so visually stunning and complex that my slow-to-process-information brain can't follow anything. There's too much. Give me my pixels and easy circuits back. Look, I do very fine on rainbow road because it's a clear way. It's just too much for me.

Second is that it's faster. Same for Mario Party and the likes. There's no real lag between you pushing a button and the character doing the thing. It's probably a good thing for most, but I'm once again a little slow most of the time, I can't keep up.

It's not like I can't play. I have a lot of fun and I don't play to win. A lot of practice would help for sure too but what I mean is that video games are just slowly getting "too much" for me even though I can still play old ones. And I get like will I even be able to play those that will be released in five years or so. I know it's progress and I sound like an old lady complaining but It's a little sad. Take the new Super Smash. This one I can't even play at all already.

#idk why I'm writing this #I can play with my siblings and have fun do it's cool #but not being able to play at all sometimes #it's still a bit disappointing #it makes me feel awkward and a bit stoopid
