Attolia and I discovered Kuramochi Fusako by pure coincidence. We loved her style, read her work that was available in English, hunted down her work that was not available in English, and here we are. She really gave us the push we needed for bringing older, forgotten shoujo titles to more people. We are happy to present you Tokyo no Shuraba, the after story of Tokyo no Casanova!

This short story was first published in Kuramochi Fusako no Hon (1985), and later republished in color in Betsuma. We have taken ours from the second volume of A-Girl (1985).

he might be a little bit of an arrogant bastard sometimes, but he loves to spoil you with his bazillions of dollar bills and will buy you pretty much anything; just say the word and it’s yours. but, as expected, money isn’t the only thing he has to offer, for you see the beautiful heart of gold beneath his flashy exterior and love him for who he is. (the money is definitely a plus, though.)

the boy who sits next to you in class, but rarely ever says a word. you hear he’s extremely filial and duty-oriented, and that he works double shifts at the coffee shop down the road. he’s also really shy.

despite his quiet nature, he’s someone you can rely on. be it with schoolwork or the occasional life crisis, he’s always there to lend a helping hand or listening ear. it’s no wonder why you find yourself falling in love with him.

oh, this guy? this guy’s an ass. he’s apparently a genius or something, but he’s more of a flirt to you.

he consistently tops the class with his stellar grades and the professors all love him for his charming and seemingly polite disposition. it’s all a facade in your eyes, but it is pretty hot.

behind closed doors, he tells your about his dreams of becoming a software developer and entrepreneur someday, and you admire him for his ambition and resolve. after a few months of petty banter and rivalry, you finally warm up to each other and decide to go out for boba twice a week.

you’re going to absolutely lose it if you see him in that stupid gray hoodie one more time. mainly because it makes him look like the cutest angsty boi you’ve ever seen and you can’t seem take your eyes off of him during lessons.

he doesn’t seem to like you very much, but then again, he doesn’t seem to like anyone very much. he mainly keeps to himself and his skateboard in between classes.

airpods plugged in, he often heads to the rooftop to commence his main character moments. sometimes you sneak up there with him, just so you can see what he’s up to. he knows you’re there, but never seems to show any signs of awareness. who knows what game he’s playing this time.

this guy… he’s mysterious, that’s for sure. he’s respectful and intelligent and all, but you can never seem to tell what he’s thinking beneath the surface.

he dresses smartly; mainly in blacks and grays, is never late for class and - you’re pretty sure - is president of multiple clubs and societies within the campus. he also has flawless clear skin.

he’s dated, like—what, 15 different students so far? you told yourself to stay away from casanovas like zhongli, but can never seem to turn down those wild car rides and midnight parties. he has your attention - and he knows it.

the relatively quiet kid who somehow has a whole social circle surrounding him, like where does he get them? it’s not hard to see why, though. he’s friendly, cool, and definitely someone you’d want to hang with for a good time.

he’s majoring in music, you hear, and often see him with a pair of expensive headphones on as he taps away to the beat of an unidentifiable rhythm with his pens.

sometimes you catch him sneaking glances at you - the slightest of glimpses that you can’t quite comprehend. are they invitations, perhaps? does he want you to make the first move? maybe, just for him, you’ll finally let down your defenses and woo this boy for once.

“artsy” - that’s the first word that comes to mind when you think of albedo. you rarely ever see him do anything else but paint, and he always looks so focused; so engrossed in it all.

he’s a nice guy - the kind who’s willing to offer you the seat next to his in the lecture hall when you can’t find one for yourself. his gentle smile warms you, and you feel a crashing wave of comfort whenever he speaks to you in that voice; a voice as light as a feather and as calm as the ocean.

you wonder what he spends all day painting. one look wouldn’t hurt, right? update: it definitely doesn’t - because you peek over the easel to find a beautiful painting of someone who looks very much like you.

Origin of your Stage Name

I used the kanji「純」which I hope to give someone an impression of a refreshing, pure white kind of image. I like the seaside, so this is also a name which I aspire (to be like a boat) expanding its sails and moving forward.

藝名的由來

我用了漢字「純」，希望給人一種清爽、純白的印象。我喜歡海邊，所以這也是我嚮往的名字，（像船一樣）展開它的帆，向前進發。

I like 〇〇 the most now!

I like western-styled clothes. Recently I’ve been focusing more on finding the colour, how the sihoulette figure and the texture (of the clothes) would look and have been considering clothes that would make me “feel happy when wearing it”. For example, about knitwear, I’ve been wearing it for years so I thought maybe I should purchase something else that’s better. As for how I coordinate my taste, first I’d think if there are any decisive points to selecting the item, or else it’s also fun to choose what to wear depending on who I’m meeting and for what purpose I’m wearing my outfit. Recently, I purchased some colourful mufflers. Since it changes colour according to how you fold the mufflers, I thought that was a fashion point of that item.

喜歡洋氣的衣服，最近比較在意尋找顏色、衣服穿上去的身形和質感會怎樣，一直在考慮「穿起來很快樂」的衣服。比如針織品，我穿了好幾年了，我想也許我應該買其他更好的東西。不然根據會見的人和穿衣服的目的來選擇穿什麼也很有趣。最近，我買了一些彩色的圍巾。捲起來的時候會有不同顏色，這也許就是一個時尚點吧！

Use a word to describe your personality.

My pace (Note: meaning at one's own pace or doing things at one's own time or schedule). Rather than my actions, I’d say I’m a “My space” type of person in terms of thinking. Even though I’m listening to others’ opinions, I’m the type of person who can’t process that solidly or take action immediately. Even though I’ve heard from people saying that I’m someone forward-looking, but I don’t think I have that consciousness, because in my heart that’s just something I honestly felt. I face things with an approach of thinking “That’s it!”, I want to be someone that pushes forward without hesitating too much.

I felt that I received the power of companionship during the experience of starring in my bow workshop lead “Junjou” (Complete Devotion). As a member of Flower Troupe, I feel immensely thankful for that. As I’m almost beyond entering the revue for 10 years, now I have the thought of continuing to improve and progress again, and with that consciousness in mind every day, I hope it will be one of the peace of mind for everyone in the Flower Troupe led by Yuzuka-san. Also, I will continue to work hard so that I could become a source of energy for the audience.

I was drawn to this outfit when I found it in Tokyo, and it was a "setup” (outfit) that I bought thinking there’s definitely some opportunity I’d get to wear it. The pants are trimmed down in the middle and could be worn 2-way, the shoulder patch part was cut away and it is a new kind of design that’s become my favourite.

2013 is her debut stage (99th class). She had her newcomers’ performance lead role for “CASANOVA” in 2019. She was the lead role for the Bow Workshop Performance “Junjou”. Now, she’s performing in the Takarazuka Grand Theatre “MAYERLING”.

[NEWS] Sato Ryuji has been Cast as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the "Ongaku Geki 'Nigero!' ~Mozart's Librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte~"

SUMMARY

Clergyman Da Ponte (Hashimoto Ryousuke), who is also a womanizer and gambler, is driven from Venice and flees to Vienna. But, the shrewd Da Ponte had managed to get a letter of introduction from the Austrian imperial composer, Salieri (Sasai Eisuke). At the time, Salieri was a person who was deeply trusted by the Emperor Joseph II (Murai Kunio) and the most influential person in Vienna in the opera world. Da Ponte had thought that he would be able to curry favour with Salieri and be under the patronage of Joseph II as Joseph II liked Italian opera and Salieri was also an Italian.

As Da Ponte had intended, Salieri, personally, took care of Da Ponte, and Da Ponte finally won the favour of Joseph II. He would also go on to write the libretto for Mozart's (Sato Ryuji) opera. When Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" became a success, Da Ponte's reputation was cemented, and he too thought of himself as a genius.

But, when working with the real "genius" that was Mozart, it made Da Ponte realise how ordinary he really was. They were two people who were a complete contrast to each other, but despite being noisy in their conflict with each other, Da Ponte, who was riding on the momentum, completed Mozart's "Don Giovanni" and "Così fan tutte", and he enjoyed the spring of his life.

However, pride comes before a fall. With the passing of Joseph II, winds of change come to Da Ponte's life.
