(This is the burn person again) My character has fourth degree burns, how well would that heal, and about how long would it take? (I just can't find any good info on this, could you maybe link me to a place that goes in depth with this burn stuff?)

Fourth degree burns penetrate entirely through the skin and begin to burn the underlying muscle and ligaments. The dead skin will need to be removed because it’s got a really high risk of infection. 

The area almost always needs to be amputated with burns that deep. Then skin grafts are used to replace the skin that the body can’t grow back there. If there’s not enough healthy skin available on the victim, other forms of grafting may need to be used while the patient’s own skin grafts are grown in a lab. Because of that, the area may never heal and the patient could need multiple plastic surgeries, physical therapy, rehabilitation and/or lifelong assisted care.

My whumpee was in an explosion that badly ruptured his eardrums, he was deaf for at least a day after that, hopefully more, cause that's fun to write. What would some long term effects be? Would he have poor balance from it?

He would have some nausea, vomiting, vertigo and dizziness, yes, as well as some drainage, pus and ringing from the ears. His eardrums should heal within a few weeks.
