the lesbian community was built off of the backs of trannies, stone butches, gentlemen dykes, crossdressers & drag kings; no one will ever have the right to tell us we don't rightfully belong in our own home. we built this place, we live here.

Do you know of a lesbian trans flag that includes transmasculines?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The original lesbian flag is already inclusive of all lesbians, including mspec, butch/femme, gnc/pnc, nonbinary and trans lesbians, the lipstick lesbian flag, however, was purposely made to exclude anyone who isn't a cis femme lesbian
Edit: I don't know if the flag itself is anti mspec lesbians (it probably is) but the flag creator (Emily Gwen) is anti mspec lesbians, and god knows how they feels about lesboys or anybody who's not a wlw lesbian
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's also this trans + lesbian flag, along with a lesbian flag that was named the all inclusive lesbian flag (which is way prettier imo)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's also the terms lesbimasc for those who feel connected to the lesboy label, but instead of a boy, they're more masculine, or just for any lesbian who's masculine
Tumblr media
There's lesboy which is most commonly used by trans lesbians who are part boy/masculine in some way, though anyone can use it
Lesboy or boy lesbian (boysbian) is an identity for an individual who in some way identifies as a boy/man that is gay/queer for women (lesbian). It can include:
- An individual who is cusper between transgender man and a cisgender butch lesbian.
- An individual who is cusper between (lesbian) transgender woman and gender non-conforming cis man.
- A cross-aligned lesbian, such as a man-aligned/solarian girl or a woman-aligned/lunarian boy.
- A multigender individual or an individual who otherwise identifies as male and female simultaneously (girlboy) and feels attraction to women.
- An individual who is genderfluid and identifies as a lesbian, even when they are male.
- A centrigender individual experiencing a gender in between fiaspec and miaspec while femaric.
- A lesbiangender, sapphicgender, lesbiagender, or sapphogender man.
- Anyone else who is in some way a boy/man and feels their attraction to women is gay/queer.

There's also these inclusive transmasculine flags, that includes transmasculine lesbians

i always wonder when i see those posts, about positivity and acceptance towards us as transmasculine lesbians/women, where the writer of them draws the line. like how do they react to different steps of medical transition. especially if they seem to “conflict” with the stated identity i.e. seeking T, upper or even lower surgery (something i have seen growing amounts of nonbinary and/or lesbian-identifying people seeking in forums related to traditionally FTM SRS) — all while still knowing oneself as a lesbian, and/or not considering oneself 100% male.
what is too much? is it only when we have the body parts that you enjoy touching or fantasizing about, that we are acceptable to you? do we become unacceptably trans and/or “male”, as a group, when our dysphoria is treated successfully by things that can’t or don’t personally attract you as an individual?
at this point multiple generations of lesbian and bi women have had the opportunity to decide how they will react to partly-but-not-fully transition-seeking AFAB partners. i guess i’m cynical but i have a hard time expecting anything other than for humans to be humans, at this point — that is, “if it suits me then i’ll call it morally good and find ways to include you as part of the in-group Us. if it doesn’t suit me then you’re morally unclean and mentally unwell and you are part of the out-group Them.”
meh. idk. I Want To Believe™.

Happy Lesbian Week!
Tumblr media
Reminder that lesbianism is and always has been completely and entirely trans/non-binary/"gender weird" inclusive, and that disabled and neurodivergent lesbians are pillars of our community. Lesbianism is not exclusively white, thin, and feminine, and never has been.
With Love,
A disabled, neurodivergent, he/him transmasculine butch lesbian.

"I know what butch is. Butches are not beginner FTMs, except that sometimes they are, but it's not a continuum except when it is. Butch is not a trans identity unless the butch in question says it is, in which case it is, unless the tranny in question says it isn't, in which case it's not. There is no such thing as butch flight, no matter what the femmes or elders say, unless saying that invalidates the opinions of femmes in a sexist fashion or the opinions of elders in an ageist fashion. Or if they're right. But they are not, because butch and transgender are the same thing with different names, except that butch is not a trans identity, unless it is; see above."
-"I KNOW WHAT BUTCH IS", Butch is a Noun, Essays by S. Bear Bergman (2006)

transmasculine/nonbinary butch lesbians are not your two-dimensional fantasy that combines all of the perfectly, seamlessly macho fantasy of a cis man with all of the biology that you want out of a cis woman. we will do things in our transition to reach wholeness that will feel uncomfortable and offensive for their non-adherence to cis body standards, not just to cis/straights, but even to other lesbian and bi women. we do not have to have a coherent life path according to exactly what you might wish from a butch partner. we do not have to meet standards for perfect behavioral butchness — any more than you might have to meet standards of perfect femmeness — for anyone, lgbt or otherwise — for anyone but ourselves. we are not your 2d imagined dream. we are real life people with real minds and real bodies — and complicated relationships to them — and shit gets messy. we have feelings and those feelings extend to everything about our lives. love us in all these complex parts or leave us alone.

Trans man: I'm a lesbian.
Queer people: That's against the definition of lesbianism and you're forcing lesbians to be attracted to men. Why can't you just be a straight man?
Trans man: I'm a straight man.
Queer people: You are now personally responsible for all of misogyny and homophobia. Also you're a predator and a traitor to lesbianism and you don't belong in our community.
