Ok, so let me explain why rebloging posts like these do little to nothing to assure Jews that they’ll be safe around you.
Goyim reblogging this stuff don’t typically listen to Jews (which is apparent because we’ve said stuff like this doesn’t actually do anything to help us many times) about their experiences with antisemitism or listen when Jews try to educate them on things like antisemitic dog whistles or blood libel. Most of them are way more enthusiastic about punching Nazis than they are about showing any compassion to Jews. I’d venture to guess the majority of Jewish people know that often the goyim who reblog this stuff are just out for blood and don’t give a damn about us, because we’ve seen this many times. Not to mention that the desire for a violent revolution that some leftists seem to have has led to Jewish people facing a lot of antisemitism (at their hands). I would bet that some of the people reblogging this act similar to Nazis themselves. I know at the very least the goyim rebloging this don’t listen to Jews because we’ve said many times that this sort of thing doesn’t really do anything to help us, and we’d much rather goyim call out and learn about antisemitism. Overall, it’s just very performative activism, and it’s pretty obvious that the goyim reblogging this are just doing it to try and make themselves look better, and not for the sake of Jews.

what joke are you really tryin to tell when you make fun of appalachia and the greater south?
even when you "just" mock our accents (you and i both know what you're really implying when you take on the drawl), the punchline of your joke there is poverty.
those who prefer a more overt route over backhanded implication: when you laugh at our education, or lack thereof, the punchline of your joke is still poverty. systemically underfunded schools packed with underprivileged children who aren't getting the same standards of education as the rest of the country is a real knee slapper boy i tell you what
when you mock our dental health and start quipping about toothless hillbillies, you're still laughin at poverty. appalachia is disproportionately uninsured compared to the rest of the nation. fellas most of us can't afford the privilege of regular, preventative dental visits and checkups, let alone the cost of huge procedures when things finally get dire. beyond that, our poverty is generational. from the get go we inherit bad teeth from family who couldn't afford that shit neither.
in the same vein, when you make fatphobic comments about said disproportionately-uninsured region--one with few jobs available to begin with, let alone work that pays enough to afford wholesome, unprocessed foods that don't rot yer teeth for supper--the butt of your joke is,, u guessed it,, ✨ poverty ✨
but to me the real kicker is the cousin fucker jokes. how can you not see that when you snark about inbreeding, when you piss yourself over that infamous billboard and oh, how could anyone possibly need to be told that?!, your punchline is not only poverty and a lack of education enough to develop critical thinking skills and the ability to build safe support networks, but you're also usually guffawing at incestuous rape and vulnerable children on top of it. peak comedy.
really though, how is any of that funny?
what happens to everyone's class consciousness the moment we start talkin about the hollers n the deep south?
why does health insurance, quality education, and food security for all suddenly go from issues worth fighting for to punishments, and ones we deserve to be humiliated for on top of it?
i know im just a dumb ol hillbilly n all, but i reckon i just don't get what we're supposed to be laughin at here

People on tiktok are discussing the possibility of Aven beings SAed and someone said this 💀
Tumblr media
Not only this is like. Extremely stupid AND contradicts the lore since by that time Aven's master was already dead (killed by Aven himself mind you) but it's also so disrespectful to his character like the whole point is that he climbed the ranks because he's smart and dedicated and lucky. We literally saw Jade addressing it and taking him under her wing. Like WHAT does that comment even imply??? That his master promoted him, that DIAMOND abused him like what are you people on

I think dick grayson as a character really pulls apart the whole "written by a woman = good" concept at the seams, specifically because people love to talk about his people pleaser personality (as of recent comics) and especially SA experiences as indicators of a well meaning Womanly Perspective writing him when in actuality the destruction of his personality and mentioned SA were orchestrated by a self identified "well meaning" woman who, you know, had fantasies of raping him. White feminism and the normalization of sexualizing brown and black men have done a number on a lot of you guys's critical thinking

lil' thing taken from my google docs brainstorming document (section 5--im separating the brainstorm off topics, it gets easier to check and decide--"quick recap")
[Transcripted from google docs]
Original concept: Meine was originally a project I had to be made on the Gacha Life mini-movie medium.
The only defined parts were: A. Meine was a boy with powers that had been exploited by his dad in the past because of his ability of identifying magic rocks; B. His mother took back his guard when she found out and he’s been living with her since; C. He met Kyouka because his mother got called to help in a project since it is of her area of work; D. Kyouka had an unconventional childhood as a test subject because of her great power; E. For her better development as a teen she got transferred to an actual school, to which Meine also was as his mother thought they’d do good friends since Meine was so shy; F. Meine would turn himself to his father in exchange for letting his friends safe eventually; G. Meine’s parents were divorced and his father was a rich guy and when he was 5 to 12 years old his dad had his guard which was taken from his under abuse reports; H. Everybody in this world would have weird body parts to signal they have powers; I. Kyouka chose her own name, had albinism and had a great childhood provided to her and was an eccentric and fun girl.
Four characters had defined designs back then (made using Gacha Club): Meine, his mother, Kyouka and someone who worked as a social assistant-kind of to her. Kyouka’s design was lost but in the brief frame sequel that would originally start the story, were featured Meine's original design as well as a headshot of the secondary character and his mom’s designs.
This was the frame sequence (edited on Ibis Paint X to achieve wanted result):
[]
[]
Final notes: The only named characters back then were Meine and Kyouka.
Final notes: Kyouka was named after a mystery anime I saw back then, named Hyouka. I took liberties with the title, if I remember well. I also remember quitting that anime at episode 6 or so, actually.
Final notes: The story had no name back then (it still doesn’t lol)
Final notes: Meine was named after a movie I saw back then: Meine Frau, ihre Schwiegereltern und ich. I took the “meine” part (which I knew on that time to be german for “mine”, but I hadn’t noticed it was the feminine possessive pronoun. The plan was to have a fictional equivalent of German in this world and Meine’s father would have named him that out of possessive desire) from there.
[End of the transciption.]
i wanted to note everything down so i could like, keep a record. i love keeping record of the process my things go through (like megan's design pipeline which i have yet to draw)

tw: antiblackness, internalized misogynoir, death mention:
Nothing pisses me off more than a black person encouraging harmful stereotypes of black people.
I will never forget having to educate an (older at that) black woman online because she insisted (while being a piece of shit and saying all kinds of insulting shit towards feminine black women) that black women couldn’t be soft and dainty and vulnerable, that we had to be tough and strong and basically feel nothing.
I told her that this does not help whatsoever because this is the kind of mindset that gets black people in hospitals KILLED. Not to mention this kind of mindset is misogynoir 101. Thinking that black people can’t be complex and diverse. There is still this idea that black people are so strong that they can’t feel pain, which, of course, goes right back to SLAVERY!!!!
Of course she didn’t want to listen. I just ended it there, but this is a perfect example of black people hurting other black people. Just because you are black doesn’t mean you can’t perpetuate antiblackness. Everyone needs to do their part in changing shit for the better. Everyone.
Stop this. This pains me so much. Get rid of the Strong Black Woman trope for good and please, I beg you, have some fucking sense. I do not want to sit here educating someone who should already know what it’s like to be black out here in this world. Black people continue to lose their life because of this ignorant shit.
I’ve said this before, and I will continue to say this. I don’t care how many times I’ve said it, I will say it until I’m blue in the face.

TW: Recycled concepts, Mention of stereotypes of hip hop culture, Criticism of a Big 4 Company in SK
A part of me feels sorry for BabyMonster, the junior group to Winner, AKMU, Treasure, and BLACKPINK. The ladies trained for years to debut and become talented figures in K-pop, only to have multiple setbacks and negative press focused on them.
Personally I was not a fan of their debut track as it felt like it missed something to make it a fresh, iconic track that could chart and join the ranks of memorable debuts. (In a positive way) But many people noted similarities in melodies to past YG artist tracks and styling, including similar sets used.
While Korea did not call to attention the issues with stereotype styling seen in hip hop culture, the West did. For a company who is considered a Big 4 and pushed BLACKPINK to become a big global act, one would think they would try to ensure they did not offend potential fans with their choices. The excuse claiming they didn’t know better no longer works as they’re in the 2020s and no one forgets online. Even if they claim they’re not marketing BabyMonster as their next global group, the world beyond Korea will judge and watch them.
I’m not sure if their marketing team has a clear plan in place or if they’re winging it as they go along. Not promoting the group on live shows or trying to have the group go on variety programs to introduce themselves seems like a mistake. How will the public know who these ladies are and what makes each member unique? The mystery tactic was tried on BLACKPINK and unfortunately, it did not help in the long run.

it’s 2022 and one of the biggest and most well-known television shows just gave young audiences a surface level, disappointing representation of eating disorders and then promptly killed off the character suffering from an ED. how fun

❤️‍🔥 Are there any stereotypes for persecutors that you embrace/like to lean into?
Absolutely, yeah. That’s actually something I care a lot about, since my whole identity is already hilariously close to some stereotypes about persecutors. Hell, I’m an internally overpowered, bitchy ex cult member and abuser introject, with red eyes and a thing for knives, who only enjoys flirting slightly less than I enjoy hurting and harassing people. While gay.
I could go on, but basically if I was in a story, I’d immediately be labeled as bad and harmful rep. I don’t feel inclined to change for anyone though, so instead I’ve just leaned into the “evil alter” stereotype in a reclamatory way. I’ve got no plans for reforming myself, and I don’t have any other roles, I’m just an egotistical jackass and I like it that way.
Unfortunately I have to reel myself in a little bit these days to maintain some semblance of happiness in my life, but that doesn’t erase any of who I am, I think

Instead of an episode of explaining xmas to aliens as though it's a universal human tradition that everyone who comes into contact with Earth should take part in and you're doing the aliens a favor by convincing them it's great and in the end the part they understand is "what really matters is being together (and xmas is the best way to do that)", I want an episode where the main humans try to explain gender to a robot. It starts with someone using it/its pronouns for the robot ad the robot is like "hey I'm alive" and the humans are like "ok what pronouns do we use then?" and the robot is like "is there a difference beyond recognition of personhood?" and so they set out to explain gender and they start by explaining gender roles but it doesn't really make sense and literally no named character is following those roles so they go through what sex is and then that kida breaks apart and the robot is just confused and everything seems made up and arbitrary and illogical and at the end of the day the message that gets through to the robot is "it is all arbitrary and made up and what matters is if it makes you happy" and the robot is like "Oh! I wanna try all the pronouns and genders... Ok I tried them. I think I like girl. Yeah. With the she/her pronouns please."
And then every episode afterwards the characters use she/her for her. She gets a beard for fun.
