Randomly, I had a thought on how likely it would have been for different characters to have fallen for Cloud and why they would have fallen for him and now I’m here! Once more! So going in no particular order let us begin (this is just the main sort of batch of characters, let me know if you wanna see any of the side ones like the Turks or Rufus)

Also keep in mind this is just me, my opinions and my blog. Don’t like, don’t read, don’t bring your ship hating or ship wars in here or I’ll punch you. Please and thank you!

Zack: I am being mildly biased with my own shipping head canons when I say that he would’ve fallen head over heels upon first meeting, but also it is canon that he was a chronic flirt and had multiple ‘girlfriends’. So I say it’s not entirely out of the question.

Sephiroth: before he lost his mind there wasn’t a chance in fucking hell it would’ve happened I think. Besides the whole difference in rank thing Seph was already far too traumatised and probably would have just seen Cloud as another guy that saw him as nothing but a war hero. He might have entertained the thought of sleeping with him, maybe, but I really don’t think it would’ve happened. We all know how he is after he loses his mind so I don’t think I gotta delve into that.

Angeal: probably not. He definitely would’ve taken some sort of liking to Cloud, whether as a friend he could find good conversation with or a sort of protege like Zack, I dunno. But ultimately I don’t reckon they’d have too much of a connection, not without some form of poly going on or something. Which leads me to this next one.

Genesis: I for sure reckon he would’ve fallen for Cloud. It would’ve been fucking messy and drama filled and more than likely would have stemmed from an enemies to lovers cause they’re both so incredibly stubborn and head strong, but they would end up loving each other. They’d definitely still butt heads and get into useless arguments but there were far too many pros to even think of giving up on the other.

Aerith: without the whole Cloud resembling Zack thing, maybe. There’s a chance that she could have but it would have been slow. Would’ve been one of those things where they hung out and talked and did all this stuff together so often that one day she would’ve turned around and realised she was in love with him. Like a full on ‘oh’ moment.

Tifa: this is another thing that’s mildly biased based off my own head canons but I honestly don’t think Tifa would have fallen for Cloud. If not for the Nibelheim incident and Cloud being exactly what she always wished for as a kid I do not think it would’ve happened.

Barret: definitely fucking not 😂 besides the fact that he hated Cloud when they first met, Cloud is so far beyond his type it’s not even funny. Plus I feel like Barret would either be one of those guys who’s like ‘my wife was the only woman for me’ or he just wouldn’t wanna put Marlene through the stress of suddenly gaining another parent.

Biggs: maybe. Like a heavy ass possibly honestly. I feel like it would have been the most generic romance in history and it would’ve been so unbelievably normal and it most likely would have been short lived, but maybe.

Wedge: I’m not gonna lie. Wedge gives me aromantic vibes for some reason. I dunno why, he just does. He’d definitely befriend Cloud (eventually) and be willing to wingman him or something if he needed it but yeah, I don’t think Wedge would’ve fallen for him.

Jessie: she absolutely loves flirting with Cloud and teasing him and being all over him, but she is definitely a lesbian. Don’t even argue with me! That woman is a full fledged lesbian and she only flirts with guys so heavily cause it’s funny to watch them scramble.

Vincent: nah, not really. Would they have a friends with benefits thing? Probably. But I feel like Vincent is far too emotionally unavailable and traumatised to even entertain the idea of being with someone again.

Cid: I feel like this is similar to Angeal. He’d definitely like Cloud and they’d bond over mechanic shit and complain about the people they chose to surround themselves with, but he definitely wouldn’t fall for him either. Cloud is way too young for him and not nearly his type in a guy. Plus he has a wife.

A ship I have with said character: Tseng/Reeve, one sided Reeve/Vincent because Reeve is down bad for Vincent unfortunately Vincent is very much in love with Reilena ( @vinjaryou 's oc) and oblivious to any advanced Reeve might make towards him and thanks to @case-of-traxits Reeve/Genesis

A BROTP I have with said character: Reeve and Cid, as well as Vincent, though with Vincent it's a little different. Of course Reeve and Aerith too, since he was the one to give Elmyra the news of her death in the OG. He has a particular soft spot for Aerith, who is alive in almost every au I have.

A NOTP I have with said character: Hmmm can't really think of one? Not many hard NOTPS for Reeve here

A random headcanon: Reeve and Scarlett were married. They met in the Shinra Engineering program and Scarlett fell absolutely in love with Reeve who was still struggling with his own sexuality. Sometime during their marriage Reeve came to terms with being gay. He would have been fine with staying married to Scarlett had her personality not become so warped and sadistic, he served papers on her just before OG and their divorce was rather nasty.

General Opinion over said character: I love Reeve! One of the most interesting characters in the series and also a stone cold zaddy

A ship I have with said character: So I don't have many ships with Yuna and most are cross overs so I would have to say my otp for Yuna would be Yuna/Cloud and I have a massive WIP multichaper for this ship as it is one of my favorites. There's also a certain crackship that @roxxie-kun and I have that spawned from an old unfinished fic on AO3....

A BROTP I have with said character: Yuna and Lulu and Yuna and Rikku. Yuna's bond with Lulu is more older and younger sister like and I absolutely love it. My actual older sister was pregnant during my last replay of X-2 and we have a similar close bond which made that playthrough exceptionally special for me. Rikku and Yuna too because I love how Rikku's knack for getting her cousin into trouble as well as how distressed she was about losing her should she defeat Sin.

A NOTP I have with said character: Yuna/Brother, miss me with that shit

A random headcanon: I have way too many so I'll give you two. Yuna is an excellent markswoman even without the gunner dress sphere. whenever she is stressed out she goes off by herself and sets up targets for shooting practice. The other is that she was Leblanc 's maid of honor at her wedding to Nooj

General Opinion over said character: Yuna is tied with Yuffie and Sephiroth for my favorite FF character. I cannot tell you how much she means to me or how much inspiration she's given me. Her character arc is unimaginably important in my life. FFX is also my favorite game ever and in my opinion the Pinnacle of gaming. I love her so much.

Timers. Strifentine. After meeting timer counts down to date of death, Jenova cells wash away mark, Cloud’s WEAPON. Vincent notices his timer changed to uncountable amount only after Avalanche leave Nibelhaim.

Distance between soulmates soulmark. Strifodos (Ignorance AU), Genesis isn’t patient person and Cloud constantly hides. Genesis has a plan and it includes to have a mission with every infantry squad. In the end they got separated from others and got a chance to talk.

Distance between soulmates soulmark. Strifehart, their mark in runes of summons.

First words. Strifodos (Ignorance AU). Genesis always declaring poesy, who’d thought his soulmate wears short “shit”.

First words. Strifentine. Iconic Vincent’s phrase on Cloud and short “shit” on Vincent.

Body-swap every birthday. Strifentine, Vincent’s demons and Cloud’s constant fatigue.

Dream-sharing. Strifentine. Dream-scape was always under control of Vincent nightmares, till they become mako-infused nightmares. It took Vincent some time to understand what was happening.

Final Fantasy VII Roleplay - searching for a Sephiroth and more? ✍️

As you can figure from the title the recent Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth hype has taken hold of me and I am in desperate need to roleplay in that universe - I will try to keep this relatively short so, anybody interested, we can discuss more details in private! I am 23 years old and would like to write with someone that is at the very least 21 years old. I have many years of roleplay/writing experience and am looking to write as canon characters (CC) with canon characters (CC). I don't do OC x CC as that just isn't my cup of tea 🍵 I would love to engage in discussion about potential plots together and am also open to nsfw themes so long as they fit into the scene.

I would love to find a Sephiroth out there to my Cloud as I'm super interested in diving into the psychological complexities of their bond. I've been wanting to for a long time!

BUT I am also open to writing with other canon characters and writing other canon characters myself, including:

- Cloud with any other canon character

- Zack

- Aerith

- Vincent

- Genesis

and pair them up with other CCs from the party/world you wanna write. So really just approach me with what pairing you would be interested in and, you'll see if it's something that applies to me too I'll quickly get super excited about it and invested in the idea too!

5 Facts about Vincent Van Gogh 1889 Starry Night. Oil on canvas; 29” x 36 ¼"

This famous artwork was Van Gogh's perspective of his view from an asylum, the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole.

The two Cyprus trees are depicted as flame-like towers, causing more depth to the painting.

Van Gogh painted it in June of 1889

It remains a permanent part of New York City's Museum of Modern Art.

There are only 11 stars painted about the biblical story of Joseph in Genesis 37:9

My view on this painting has significantly changed, as before I did this research I had merely known that it was one of Van Gogh's most famous paintings. Before this assignment, I had not cared to ask what inspired Van Gogh, however, the research I did has made me rethink everything I know about art pieces, and everything I want to be able to learn from them. I see quite a few things differently in this painting, especially the significance of the stars. When I learned that the stars were based on the story of Joseph and how Van Gogh just wanted to be seen after the hard life he'd had, it made me feel so much compassion and sympathy towards him.

This is a photograph that I took of the sky while I was on a boat ride. I was inspired by the different ways the sun shone through the clouds and the effect it had on the lighting at that time of day. I think that the majesty of God and his power is shown beautifully in this picture. I believe, like many, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder so yes I believe that this picture can be considered beautiful.

Some baggage that I bring with me into this course of studying art are as follows:

I am 17 years old, trying to balance high school, college, and work all at the same time. I live in Venice Fl, and have always loved the cold. I know its ironic. I am biologically female, and will always respect the way god made me, by labeling myself as female. I work at a pet resort, keeping the animals happy and safe, cleaning and feeding most of the time. I am not a part of an organized group, however, I do regularly attend church and youth group, so I am connected there. Something that makes me, me is the fact that I love the color black and I am open-minded and curious about all cultures, through that I love to travel and to learn other languages. I also am an artist of the mind, meaning that I write, I write poems that indulge many secrets of the mind but also of life.
