Endgame Lukadrien would be so funny on a meta level because there are two ways it could have happened:

1) It was planned from the beginning. The writers have stated as fact that there are 12 seasons planned. Of course they also planned for a 5 season run, too, just in case they didn’t get renewed. That means that the Lovesquare is the backup endgame ship, whereas Lukadrien was what they were gunning for the whole time, and they were straight baiting us the whole time

OR

2) It was unplanned. That means there had to be a point in the writers room where they were all tearing their hair out and screaming about how they HAD to go with this new storyline direction because it was so much better than what they had originally planned

Finally got this done- I’ve wanted to draw Rabbit Noir ever since I saw him and so I went all out~! Also- I think this is the final design for my variant of Viperion- I made it incorporate more of the original design with my design and I think the colors are finally balanced! Thank goodness I’m finally satisfied with it.

MLB Secret Santa

Merry Christmas, @demonetta7! I'm your Secret Santa this year <3

I actually researched the meaning of flowers for this one! Cat Noir is holding a hydrangea, which represents gratitude for being understood, as well as rigidity and heartlessness. Viperion is holding specifically a yellow lily, representing feelings of happiness, gayness (like being happy... though it is what made me choose it), and walking on air. I used a mix of traditional and digital art to create this, originally sketching in pencil before scanning and coloring in Photoshop.

Prologue from my upcoming ViperNoir/Lukadrien fic

Chat Noir had always loved these moments, sitting with his partners in the still of the night. Ladybug sat in the middle, arms stretched out behind her on the Eiffel Tower, supporting her weight as she breathed in the cool air. Viperion sat on her right – or rather, he laid on his back, arms cushioning his head as he stared up at a starless sky. The peacefulness of it all was what Chat loved the most. Up on the Eiffel Tower, he was completely free. He was just himself, with the two people he felt most at home around.

He turned his head to watch them, wanting to imprint the moment in his memory. Ladybug, feeling his gaze, cracked an eye open and smiled.

“What’s on your mind, kitty cat?” She closed her eye again, stretching her head back further to enjoy the cool breeze in her hair.

Chat Noir huffed a laugh through his nose, a small smile playing on his lips. He turned his head back to look down at the city below him, taking a few seconds to answer, “I’m just…thinking about how much I love having these moments. In my normal life, I don’t normally get to just relax and spend time with my friends like this.”

Viperion sat up, bending his knees into his chest, and leaning forward so his arms rested against his knees. He turned his head to look at Chat Noir, smiling over at him in that encouraging way he always did. Viperion was the quieter of the 3 heroes, but he could say a lot in just his eyes, the soft curve of a smile. It warmed Chat Noir’s heart in a strange way every time.

“These moments are nice, huh. Especially after a fight like that.” Ladybug said, eyes still closed as her brows furrowed almost imperceptibly at the memory of the latest akuma victim earlier that night. “Spending time with friends like this is really nice.”

Viperion hummed low in agreement, his eyes still focused on Chat Noir. “It is nice to have a break from real life, too.”

“That too.” Ladybug agreed.

“And spending time with each other outside of akuma battles.” Chat Noir added.

“Almost like we’re normal people, normal friends.” Ladybug mumbled, finally sitting up properly and opening her eyes, the small smile changed into something sad.

“Friends…” Viperion whispered, his eyes shifting to Ladybug.

“We’re friends, aren’t we? Not just superheroes?” Chat asked, looking between his partners once more.

“Of course we are kitty.” Ladybug’s smile returned, and she stood. “I should get home, early start.” Ladybug jumped from the Eiffel tower, letting herself free fall for a few second before catching herself with her yo-yo and disappearing into the night.

“CHAT!” Ladybug shrieked as she fell from the Eiffel tower. The scream echoed all through Paris, ringing in Chat’s ears as he loomed above her on the tower. This time, she didn’t catch herself, and no one was there to catch her as she hit the ground.

Well, I'm happy to help. Chat Noir: Rumors? Hmm... I guess we should clear the air then. Viperion? Viperion: Agreed. (He grabs Chat Noir's bell and pulls him close. They share a kiss.) Chat Noir: Are things more clear now? Alya (internally screaming): Crystal. And with that Viperion and Chat Noir gifted Alya the most traffic her blog had ever gotten.

A Lukadrien concept I've been playing with is that Luka figured out Adrien was Chat Noir in Desperada.

And it a strange twist of fate, instead of going catatonic like Ladybug in Ephemeral, he thinks to himself "Oh! This explains so much!"

The face of a Snakeboy who interrupted his team leader so he could introduce himself to the Catboy of his dreams. He's excited to know another aspect of Adrien!

And then they banter and wink at each other! I love it so much!

Adrien is the one who chose Viperion after all, so of course he'll be the one to bring it up to Luka. But he never does.

Luka is tying himself in knots. He wants to bring it up, but can't really say HOW he knows this, because secret identities. And what if he was wrong? It's not like he actually saw Chat detransform. What if everything was in his head. Luka's 99% sure he's Chat, but what about that other 1%?

Then Wishmaker. There's a reason Luka directed Adrien to go hide behind a tree in a completely opposite direction, while then going on his own mission to make sure Marinette was safe, at the detriment to his own safety.

Because he knew Adrien was Chat Noir.

Then Ladybug gets hit and Viperion's shocked to say the least, but he steels his pokerface and Second Chances back.

Then Chat gets hit. It's a much smaller reaction than the previous, which is fascinating.

This means that:

Viperion's widening eyes are him being surprised that he was right about Chat's secret identity.

He realized he missed his chance to talk to Adrien about his secret identity, now that he knows Ladybug's identity.

Adrien's childhood dream to "be whatever his parents wanted him to be" is depressing as hell, and explains so much.

No wonder he looks so defeated before he resets Second Chance for a second time.

Then we get Migration and Luka is forced to come out of the closet admit he knows Ladybug's and Chat Noir's identities. And the animation team used their entire budget on Adrien's slow blink at the Snakeboy of his dreams.

SOME PROPAGANDA!

Remember when Luka told Ladybug that it wasn't her fault or Chat Noir's fault that he found out their identities? Technically it was Luka deflecting a shot meant for Chat and himself and it hit Ladybug by accident. So yeah, not her fault.

MEANWHILE Chat almost let himself get hit multiple times. Not his fault for his emotional breakdown during the episode, but it could ALSO be interpreted that Wishmaker wasn't when Luka discovered his identity.
