Here, have a 2012 tmnt redesign! Many people go with the “2012 are either Box Turtles or Diamondback Terrapins” but Diamondback Terrapins are really distinct and I wanted to play into that, so yeah here, some Teenage Mutant Diamondback Terrapins!

(Also yes Mona Lisa and Chompy are there, they are just blocks of color cause I didn’t feel like making a Mona design, nor did I want to color chompy, so they are there in spirit but not in full.)

So I've been doing a lot of crochet things lately and one of the things that I found is a set of free patterns for crochet dolls and I've actually made rather a few of them and I'm thinking about potentially trying to sell them at the local flea market type place. The lovely lady who made these patterns puts on all of them that she's okay with you selling the finished product otherwise I wouldn't be thinking about it but I just wanted to show some of the ones that I've made using that pattern set. First up we have my very first one who I just named after the pattern so her name is Weebee.

And that's just one of her outfits. I have made her several because I'm keeping her. And then next up I used the smallest version of the pattern to make joy and sadness from inside out for me and my daughter. I think I mentioned that in another post but I didn't put any pictures and I have no idea what my daughter did with Joy so here's Sadness.

The sweater is actually from a different doll's pattern, from the same creator but I thought that sadness should have a sweater that she looks like she could disappear into. I also talked in an earlier post about making Koro-sensei for my husband and he's mostly finished but I think I need embroidery thread to make his smile so that it actually looks like it's part of his face and I have misplaced my embroidery thread from when we moved into this house but I did get his outfit done so here he is.

I made his multitude of tentacles by adjusting the length of the arms and then using the arms from the smallest doll but then just making them longer. I also put wire in most of the tentacles so that they can be posed and adjusted. And finally the most recent one that I just finished yesterday is the first one that I am potentially going to sell I didn't give her a name because I figured I'd leave that to whoever takes her home

The dress that she's wearing and the dress that my Weebee is wearing are actually from the same pattern. It's called the blank canvas dress and it's set up so that you can experiment with sleeves and bottom hems and add flowers or whatever. I love these patterns very very much and I do plan on at some point buying all of the other patterns from the same creator. She's got a bunch of like clothing bundles and things like that that are for sale. The creator is Laura Tegg and you can find her on ravelry, or just at this link:

She's got a ton of free patterns on there for the dolls and bunch of different outfits and I'm pretty sure that I've made at least one of most of the outfits at this point I do not currently have the funds to buy the rest of them but I will get them eventually. I also have some tentative plans to make myself some anime characters that I really like I just haven't done it yet partially because one of the ones that I really want to make is going to take a little bit of very precise planning but that's neither here nor there.
