The "Hellfire Club" is an official D&D club at Hawkins High School. Membership came with a degree of protection, but demanded loyalty to campaign nights. Members of the club both create and wear white raglan shirts with black long sleeves, finished with the Hellfire Club name and logo on the center. Hellfire Club is hosted in a drama/theatre room.

The B.C. Rich Warlock is both an electric guitar and bass guitar made by B.C. Rich. It features a distinct jagged shape and two humbucker pickups. Rich's far-out designs and the emerging hair metal culture of the late '70s and early '80s helped cement the brand's place in the market. THE BAND

Corroded Coffin is Eddie Munson's band that plays in Hawkins, Indiana. It consists of four students from Hawkins High School. They have rehearsals in Gareth’s garage and perform at The Hideout club on Tuesdays and usually get a crowd of about five drunks.

DRUMS - Gareth. Plays Sabian B8 crash and B8 Pro ride cymbals,  Zildjian ZBT hi-hat (all models of 2010’s btw) and black Gretsch drum kit.

In the 1 month skip between episode 59 and 60 in Season 3 of Soy Luna, what are some things you think happened?

Im going to do this summarized hc style because I’m at the airport and it would take a while to write down a month’s worth of scenes

Sharon spends the first two weeks in the hospital, being unconscious for three days after the rescue team manage to pull her out of the fire, when she regains consciousness and starts babbling on about Bernie and “How dare they steal my fortune” and stuff, they go to ask Alfredo if he agrees to send her to a mental health facility, which he promptly agrees to, and that’s how she ends up getting treatment there

The fire only damaged Sharon’s Lili and Bernie’s and Ámbar’s rooms, which half relieved Ámbar and half pained her, because, while she could fully refurbish it to fit her, now more mature, tastes, since everything from her spoiled brat and goth phases turned into ash which upset Simón quite a bit, since he loooved her goth clothes, that meant that all her memories from those times were also gone, and not even Luna could cheer her up when she realized that, she locked herself in her temporary new room and cried for days, letting out all the pain she held in her entire life, only opening the door to grab the food that Monica left on her doorstep

Luna turned her parents’ old room into a memorial, putting everything that was left of them in there, she keeps it locked most of the time, the memories are too painful but when everything gets to be too much, she goes in there and talks to them, or cries, for a few hours

Luna and Ámbar go to therapy, after Simón, the Valentes, Alfredo and Nina insisting for months, that results in Luna, who is learning to prioritize her own well-being over other people’s comfort, convincing Matteo to also get therapy, and he, in turn, starts unlearning all his harmful and self-sabotaging behaviors

This particular point is canon divergent. So, since I don’t remember it happening, I’m gonna choose to believe there weren’t any Niric scenes after the timeskip, so that + the fact that while all the other couples were next to each other in that shot near the end of the episode, they were apart, can only mean that Gastón visited during his vacation period from Oxford and apologized, so he and Nina got back together, as it should’ve been, but he has to go back before the festival and Luna’s birthday, but Nina applied to go there a few weeks before, because, even though she might run into him, it was her dream to study abroad, long story short, she gets accepted and then rest is history

Since Sharon made sure she couldn’t go to the school in Paris, Ámbar applied and got accepted into one in BA, starting a year later than she was supposed to, but she, if anyone, is gonna turn that around, possibly overworking herself so she can graduate early, but she’s got her Mexicans to make sure she doesn’t take on more than she can handle

Nico and Ada end up breaking it off, since I don’t see how that would work, and he comes back right after Luna’s birthday, making the band complete, and since everyone else gets busy and stops going to roller as much, they start getting gigs in other places, eventually catching the eye of a more ethical record label fuck you vidia and signing their first album

There’s not much to be said about Jim & Yam, except that they’re thriving at their

Matteo released his first record the week before, since his songs were already decently polished and well rehearsed, the process was really fast

And since the whole group agreed that the Festival was their last performance together, with Nina leaving to join Gastón in Oxford, the band going full swing with their first album, Ámbar starting law school, Matteo going on tour, Delfi going to college for journalism, Jazmin getting the offer to be a part of Fundom, and lastly, to everyone’s joy, Benicio disappearing off the face of the earth, Luna, Ramiro and a newly redeemed Emilia, decided to form a team together, with Juliana’s guidance of course, the process of finding other members was quite a pain, but eventually they managed to find other three people, and they became quite known in skating circles across the world, their team name? Eclipse, after their main founding member and captain

I got a little carried away and started getting into their futures afterwards, but I hope you like it!

Book Review: Chaos at Prescott High by C.M. Stunich

There's one gang you don't piss off at Prescott High, not unless you want them to destroy you. The Havoc Boys. My enemies turned friends turned lovers.

These boys have never been saints, but this war that's brewing is resurrecting their inner demons. Once upon a time, I was their target. This time, I'm calling the shots. Senior year is my year.

This year, I'm going to bring down my enemies. This year, I'm going to run my tongue along the blade of vengeance and taste blood. The Havoc Boys are mine, and we were here first.

You don't mess with a Havoc Girl without paying the price. You don't start a rebellion without a little bloodshed. My boys and I don't mind using two wrongs to make a right—I just hope our brewing obsession with one another doesn't kill us all first.

Oh boy.

Chaos at Prescott High is packed with more blood, more dead bodies, and more sex! Here, we were also able to briefly look into the Havoc boys' point of view during Bernie's torture.

To be honest, if all of those happened in the current timeline, I won’t be here right now. I have a loathing for bully romances if it wasn’t clear enough. But since the bullying happened before the timeline, and we’re already dealing with other things, I can set aside the anger. Do I think it’s pathetic and doesn’t make sense? Yes. Do I think Bernie is making a mistake by justifying what they did to her? Absolutely. But since this is fiction, eh, just take it as it is.

We also witnessed the progress of Bernie’s relationship with the other boys aside from Victor. Havoc at Prescott High focused more on scenes with Victor and Hael. While on book two, we have Bernie reconciling with Aaron, her and Callum’s slow and sweet progress, and Oscar breaking. And have I mentioned, there’s more sex?

The overarching plot is escalating slowly but surely. The pacing is alright for a 5-book-series despite having so many side plots going on.

Also, Bernadette and Victor’s goth wedding happened and the ending was a transition into their honeymoon. Let’s see if Victor will finally give the rest of the boys what they deserve. After all, they all agreed on a Havoc girl, right?

Since I enjoyed reading this book, I’m giving Chaos at Prescott High another 3 out of 5 stars. Suspension of disbelief is a must for the readers to appreciate this series. Don't think too much, just enjoy the ride.

I never did my usual survey thing at the beginning of 2020 so I’ll never know how 2019 was. Whoops. I guess here’s the one for the last year, for posterity.

1. What did you do in 2020 that you’d never done before? Earned a graduate degree. Experience a pandemic.

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I have no idea. I don’t think I made any. This year I wanna be more creative, but only in ways that will make me happy.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Jonathan and his wife had a bb.

4. Did anyone close to you die? No.

5. What countries did you visit? lol

6. What would you like to have in 2021 that you lacked in 2020? I’d like my confidence back. I don’t think I had realized that I’d gained some in my first two years of grad school until my new advisor kinda made me lose it all.

7. What date from 2020 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? March 131st. j/k Time wasn’t real so idk maybe Halloween when Sarah, Elizabeth, and I had a tea party in a historic cemetery and then watched RHPS on Sarah’s porch and ate Pho.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? MFA, I guess. Though it felt/feels fake because graduation and celebrations didn’t happen.

9. What was your biggest failure? Letting shit get to me. To be fair tho, not letting shit affect me probably would have been unhealthy. 36. What political issue stirred you the most? I worked for the Bernie data entry team which was really fun and did some text banking too. After he suspended his campaign I kinda gave up on politics, but still went to every BLM protest/march in Athens.

38. Who was the best new person you met? Didn’t do a lot of meeting people this year. I enjoyed the brief period of time before my internship shut down with my supervisor. What’s your take on the commoners vs nobility characters in FE3H?

So I know Blue Lions and Black eagles might consider some characters commoners when they’re technically not??? But the known commoners

Dorthea I loved. Some say she wasn’t plot relavant, but she’s the icing on the cake. Yeah she’s looking for security, but all her supports are interesting. She lowkey hates noble men, but really just wants to call them on their shit. Yeah Slyvain had complex backstory that made him the way he is, but he’s still trying to piss off so many girls at his school by flirting with them, and intentionally trying to break their hearts because of his noble status and shit. (I do like him but not every girl at the school is gonna know that first glance) she does other stuff with Lorenz and Ferdinand, calling them out. But she also seems to be nice with Hubert/Caspar/ Linhart, so it’s not all noble men. Her relationship with Manuela is fun. She’s got back story, charm and wait she’s more in depth than I thought! When the war phase happens, she’s not putting on a brave place hiding her feelings, she admits to being depressed. She also helps people during the fife years Byleth is missing. She’s just someone I wanted to have a happy ending. Her design fit the black eagles house, and I like using her. 10/10

After first I didn’t really notice Dedue, but I ended up liking a majority of his supports. I enjoyed hangining with him when he was in Azura Moon. He’s a kind gentle giant whose done what he’s had to do to save and reunite his liege. 10/10

Ashe did get to live in a noble house for a nice minute but then had to kill his adoptive father. Ashe being a blue lion go a cool back story and a rounded out character. You think to yourself is this man too sweet? But the answer is no he’s got a theif backstory, so many dead parents, and is suffering from depression. I don’t really have any complaints out of him. 10/10

The golden deer was done dirty. Yeah there needed to be more commoners in the game but oh my god

I learned to like Leonie. Having the relationship back and forth about Jeralt was fun, but the game literally doesn’t tell you much about her only her feelings for Jeralt being a good mentor and she wants to be strong. Where are her parents? Where was Byleth when Jeralt and Leonie met? I also didn’t get through many of her supports because I’ll be honest there’s a lot of supports in this game, I’ll listen when I’m on the mood. I felt like she was there to reinforce Jeralt’s character. Maybe she could have been Byleth’s adoptee sister or something to make her involvement in the story more interesting. 6/10

Ignatz and Raphael have some family drama, dead parents and an older brother that’s inheriting the family business making ignatz a knight. But honestly i dont really care. I know not every character has to be complex and cool, but shit it’s a little unfair when there’s a lot of other characters that are more appealing. If they were replaced I would not really care.

I’m not gonna type out every noble but the developers gave all the nobles either interesting or mostly interesting backstories. There were more noble or people with heavy noble connection. They had backstories of how their lives were affected by crests either having one or not having one. The nobility had a leg up with writing in the plot or supports being very interesting.

I felt like the commoners didn’t capture all of commoner life for life in fodolan. Like Mercedes and Marianne had similar fathers (adopting girls with crests to marry off) ingrids dad also wants to marry her off because of her crest and I think Count Varley just wanted to get rid of Bernie. Like they could have gotten creative I know they’re all different characters but come one. The common folk are under represented like you get one singer from the empire (I know the noble system is the worst there which is why Dorthea is the only commoner) Ashe and Dedue (Ashe was living a noble or knight family at the start of the game. Dedue isn’t from the main 3 countries but does bringing an interesting perspective of Duscur) and then you have Leonie Ignatz and Raphael where there is drama in the alliance but is easy to forget or ignore. But I get it I guess the school costs money to go to so I guess it would make sense for more nobles to go there

She’s 27 at the time the story starts. She is literally on the edge of being a Millennial (I’m one of those who thinks the cut-off between Millennials/Generation Y and iGeneration/Generation Z should be 2001, but some say it’s actually 1996).

If two people share a 1-Up, how would that work? Also, you can tell they’re getting close to 30 just by how stoned they look when, in fact, they’re trying to stay awake for New Year’s. I love this aspect of Anarchie, rambling about how Millennials are growing old and are no longer the dominant youth generation. In 2024 (which is 7 years away), there will be 40-something Millennials. I’ll be 30, holy fucking mother of fathers.

I actually couldn’t find the bottom image for the longest time, so I think this is the first time I’ve posted it to Tumblr. See? It’s not all reposts. I kinda like how Venus looks like a ghost in the second picture, but Dalf forgot about the Saint Vitus logo! And yes, that’s a Pepper robot. I imagined that they might gain a bit more utility between now and 2024. Also, funny thing about Venus being a “hipster”. She’s actually not. She’s more of a moddie than a hipster. But since Arthur’s a hipster, she sometimes tries to be one ironically.

Arthur Tartakovsky, Venus’s ultra-hipster boyfriend. This was before he gained his ironic mustache. He used to be in an indie pop band in an earlier draft, but nowadays he’s still in an indie pop band. The actual change was his other hobby: before, he was a comic artist. Now he’s an indie game dev specializing in retro games and VR cyberpunk. The world of indie game devs can get hectic, especially in a tight job market. He has to deal with rival devs sabotaging each other and himself sometimes, which is why he developed electrokinetic powers.

Early form of Malfiore. She always wears Ed’s clothes (a la Ed Edd n Eddy), but it was much more faithful in the earliest sketches. Just ask Alouisse-Ver. Also, she used to have Daria’s hairstyle.

Muriel’s first sketch, back before she had her top hat. I created her as a loveletter to Pan Pizza and his gothosexual tendencies; Malfiore was always going to be a part of the story.

Anarchie’s still got a lotta stoner rock in it (Venus’s band and their scene mates are all either stoner rock or heavy rock), but even back in 2014 when I first created the story, I left some room for indie rock. Nowadays, they both take up an equal amount of space. If it ever becomes a movie or a cartoon, it’ll probably be the only one in history where the OST consists of Nebula, Kyuss, Radio Moscow, and Orange Goblin right alongside The Pillows, Kodaline, Arctic Monkeys, and Porno Mags. Radiohead one second, Pentagram the next.

And, for now, that’s all for Anarchie. I’ve yet to commission pictures of Kalo, Syd, Adamski, or Azura Meco, but those are coming. I’m just actually working on the story. Shocker, I know. Even I’m surprised. I just did a 30,000 word outline in about 10 days; the real rough draft should be finished by April.

And now for BGM, which is basically “Anarchie + Cyberdelic Pharmaceuticals”. The early posts here don’t show that off well, but the world will know...

Pure stardream. It sounds like dreamrock, honestly. The moment I heard this, I knew I had found BGM’s BGM. No pun intended. It was either this or Stand Up. 

Belle. Belle Grand-Mär. British moddie, real name “Indira Elizabeth Jones”, elective mute, severe and antisocial, freeskating and freerunning traceause, yadayadayada. If Venus was a female Scott Pilgrim fused with Murdoc Niccals, Belle is Ramona Flowers + Haruko Haruhara + Ryuko Matoi + Garnet + a mime + Neku Sakuraba + a silent cartoon character. I’m glad I’m a writer. Try creating a silent character! You’d better have mastered visual emotion.

Aurora. Real name “Farideh Moradi”, Persian-Briton moddie, freerunning traceuse, Belle’s closest friend and whatnot. She literally got her name from the reference to the Aurora Borealis in A Flock of Seagull’s uber-80′s hit “I Ran (So Far Away)”. The 2020′s are basically the ‘80s with more cyberdelia, after all.

Bomb. Real name “Madeleine Violetta Dumont”, French moddie, actually dead and works as a psychokinetic grim reaper whenever she feels like it. Also Belle’s rival and foil. Freeskating traceuse. She was created in 2009 as the lead character in a story that was literally “JSRF: Jet Set Radio Future + The World Ends With You”. This is why she seems like someone badly took a character from each of those games and fused them together.

Parov Stelar’s beautiful little electroswing track. It’s so 2020′s.  BGM has much more of a stardream atmosphere than the down-to-earth feel of Anarchie. There’s a lot more chiptune, dreamier rock, electrofunk, and whatnot. If you took the soundtrack to Super Mario Galaxy and Steven Universe, mixed it with the soundtrack to Jet Set Radio Future, and made it thrice as eclectic, you’d get something like BGM’s presumed BGM.

You may have noticed that all the characters for BGM thus far are moddies. That’s no mistake or coincidence— it’s a moddie story. It has a stronger character than Anarchie, to the point I can even call it when aspects of Anarchie “seem like something out of BGM”.  Moddies are already getting started, though no one’s yet calling them moddies. But you see how vaporwave’s gotten so big? How neon and pixel art is dominating Tumblr? Seapunk and dyed hair are everywhere, everyone loves hallucinogenics, and everyone loves the ‘80s once more. Major Lazer, for the fucking win. Right now, we say that these are signs of hipsterdom. But in the 2020s, we’re going to look back and realize what it really was— the birth of the moddies. We’ve not yet reached the moddies— we still need a Transhuman Be-In, cheaper OLEDs, and a Sgt. Pepper moment for electronic music (where people stop seeing it as purely dance music). And I don’t see anyone who owns a robot like Pepper or ASIMO yet either. And while luminescent hair is definitely a thing, it’s not yet become a common thing. Nor has leaving up Christmas lights all year, or being obsessed with bright primary colors.

But we’re getting there. And the thing that will trigger the final separation between post-hipsters and moddies isn’t a Transhuman Be-In, but simply time: us Millennials are indeed growing older. I was born in ‘94, and I’m 22 going on 23. Millennials brought back hipsterdom, but ‘10s hipsters suffered a brutal blow due to the loss of Bernie Sanders and the rise of Donald Trump. Our whole zeitgeist became fragile. Hence why people are looking for harder music instead of the previously comfortably twee indie pop and nu-folk. Being vintage and authentic hasn’t helped us one bit, and the kids— those younger than ourselves— don’t believe in our ideals. They just see a blizzard.  Some may mock the hair colors, but they secretly love it. They want something more than what Millennials are offering. They are loving several aspects of what’s big— aforementioned things like vaporwave, electronic music, dyed hair, cyberpunk revivalism, ‘80s and ‘90s love, etc.— but other aspects, they are eager to discard. There’s a strain of neo-futurism in the iGeneration, which isn’t surprising considering they were raised as something of a proto-cyborg generation.

And that’s the moddies in a nutshell. Kids who recognize they live in “The Future™” and wish to own it. They don’t just listen to electronic music because it’s cool; it also aids that whole sense of living in years that previous generations thought were purely sci-fi. They don’t see electronic music as just dance club/background music. They want electronic versions of prog rock and conscious hip hop. They’re more than happy to drop acid and fuck robots. They don’t love the obsession with a minimalist future with sterile colors— they want neon. Neon lights, neon paint, and a cyberdelic attitude. If that means making cities look like one giant rave, so be it. Because ha ha, they live in the Future.

You can forgive them for their incredible optimism; they’re just kids. And they want you to know it.
