hi not so friendly reminder that this blog is inclusive of aros and aces. yes, even cishet aros and aces.
I really hate how I have to make a post like this.
cishet aros and aces are still queer *because* being aro or ace (or aroace) is queer. queer is not the same thing as "not cishet". and if you think otherwise get off my blog and never come back until you've unlearned your aphobia.
thanks.
(OP is a minor. Don't be weird)

it just makes me so sad that gifmakers will pour hours upon hours into crafting a gifset, overanalyzing every colouring and blending and typography decision to create pure art, which is so unique and creative, and the most the majority of users on this site can be bothered to do in response is hit the like button

Saw a post making fun of Asexuals in the year of our Good Vibes 2022 so a reminder:
The A stands for the Asexual community and spectrum (it also represents the Aromantic and Agender communities but I’m Asexual so I’ll be talking about that specifically in this post)
Celibacy is a choice to abstain from sex. Asexuality is a sexuality defined by a lack of sexual attraction to anyone, not by the choice to abstain from sex.
Every asexual person has different feelings on sex (an activity, not an attraction) - some are sex repulsed, some are sex neutral, and some are sex favorable. A physically pleasurable experience is not equal to an attraction to parties involved.
The Asexual community has been around since the dawn of the Queer liberation movement, and Asexual individuals have always existed.
Aphobia is real and has done tangible harm to Asexual people. Listen to and learn from their experiences.
If you make fun of Asexuals and their community jokes (dragons/cakes/cards) you are Aphobic. If you’re Asexual and you make fun of these aspects of your own community or consider them ‘cringe’ you have internalized Aphobia.
Sometimes teenagers and young people will identify as Asexual and change their label later in life. This does not mean that all young people who identify as Asexual will change their minds, nor does it mean that all people who identify as Asexual are young.
Seriously what do you people have against the dragons and cake jokes those are classic and hilarious please deconstruct why you have so much rage for harmless jokes that’s not a healthy response to silliness.
Anyways reblog this post if you’re Asexual, support Asexuals, or really want a dragon.

You know, I've been stuck thinking about that poll that asked people how long they've had their blogs on there, with the 10+ years result not only being high, but being the winner of the poll.
And I'm thinking of the state of the website and the lack of interactions on it.
All this time people have been saying the reason reblogs dwindled was not only due to the results of cringe culture crusades of back then, but because "there are so many new users and they just don't respect our Old Ways, they don't reblog or interact, curse the newcomers"
Well if that post is to be believed, we actually should point at us, the old users, for giving up on what made this website a goldmine of sharing and visibility back in the day.
The new users failing to interact have the excuse of not knowing how this place works and not being used to the site culture (though that's arguable, given they probably copy today's culture, which is to not reblog much at all), but you elders?
You've seen what was possible and what used to work. You've seen reblogs taking posts far and wide, you've seen when comments in tags were very common and encouraged further creation. And yet you've stopped doing that?
Yall gave up on a good thing for no reason.

Ofelia Robles is the only child of Diego and Luna Robles. Luna, always a little fragile of health, passed shortly after Ofelia's birth leaving behind an immense unfillable void in the hearts of her family; because of this, Ofelia has always felt as though she's walking around with only one shoe on.
Diego never fully recovered from Luna's death which created a feeling of longing and sorrow that hung like a cloud over Ofelia's childhood. Ofelia was a serious child, quiet and watchful, unknowing how to make her father smile but wanting to more than anything. Eventually, Diego's mother, Lucia, came to live with them and it was the first time Ofelia felt that things would be okay.
Ofelia likes stories, having heard countless from her grandmother growing up, she escapes through them as an adult through reading, but only for a short time, at night before bed, because during the day she's a hard and dedicated worker on the ranch. She loves horses but none more than her own horse, Bebita, a rescue that she's training to show at the local rodeo.
Ofelia may not have any experience with romance but not for lack of wanting it, it just took her a while to figure out what she liked. Now she wonders if she might have missed the opportunity for love and thinks perhaps she wasn't meant for it, not that kind at least.
As a grown, mature woman, Ofelia is intense, enigmatic, introverted, a self-proclaimed recluse and hard-working. She has a small circle of people she cares for and is disinterested in growing it. Despite attempts from her best friend to put herself out there Ofelia has been an immovable object…if only there were some unstoppable force that could budge her from her stagnation.

I really like the headcanon the Bernard has like a crazy high tolerance for alcohol because of the cult and their wine stuff
like the tabloids would see him drink like 32 cups of wine or champagne and a gala and start speculating why meanwhile the batfam is experimenting and making bets on who they think Bernard could out drink and who could out drink Bernard

question for my fellow mordrem-havers:
what was it like for them under the dragon's influence? if they weren't 'born' mordrem, what was their corruption experience? how are they handling life without the dragon?
