Ooooogh God I remember this one- The oc owner was inspired by Witch Hat Atelier and mentioned they would like her to be drawn in the style!! ...Which lead to a wholeass style analysis and attempted recreation XD The lineart took a while- but ultimately am very proud of it!!

Also!! Trying a new format for putting up pictures! Since it's digital, might as well put up WIP pictures sometimes :3

That man's official portait is way too stoic for the same guy who you can recruit to your party, steals up to 20 bottles of whiskey from you and then dips- and later is like "oh heyyyy good to see you haha" /lh We love him for it tho. One of the more normal characters in both games.

Trying to mimic the rendering method of the official art on call was- it was something. BUT I think we got pretty close :D Also the characters in-game has very limited skintone variety so the second piece was inspired by some other sick fanart I've seen of him, much love to the funger fan artists!

(also yes!! If anyone has some specific characters they'd like to see in my artstyle, lemme know and I may give 'em a go! Preparing for Art Fight season ^^)

Piece drawn during a period of slight burnout with my art style. I didn't digital paint much at the time but it was fun to do; A good opprotunity to play around with adding textures for the most part :D

That's especially considering the grittiness of his clothing during that period of his life- "Habib"'s design changes over time is what drew me in initially. Interesting character :3

In all seriousness, keeping the characters relatively on model was the biggest struggle considering I don't often do these finished pages but I think it turned out well!! For this birthday gift, I wanted their dynamic to be the focus since Eri has already done so many doodles of them. I adore them.
