PHEROMONES
Pairing: Tenya Iida (Ingenium) x Reader
Tags: Angst, smut Series: I. Hate. Heroes. Summary: Iida has always been an outstanding citizen, friend, and hero. He's traditional and a little uptight. So it makes sense that all of Japan is taken by surprise when he of all people gets caught up in a scandal. Misc: One night stand, AgedUp!, ProHeroAU, Fem!Reader A/N: none Master List || Prompt List
Tenya Iida: Anyone you asked would tell you he would never engage in anything that could endanger his family name or his reputation as Ingenium. Even in his fan interactions, he was rather formal - keeping his hands and personal opinions to himself. . He had worked his entire career, almost ten years since his attending UA, to be perfectly spic and span. There was no room for errors or scandals in his long-term plans.
So, what in God's name had happened for things to end up like this?
(L/N)(F/N) happened.
It had been another long day of saving Japan and filling out all the damn paperwork that came with it. Iida was dead tired and already on his way home when he passed a bar. It was one many of his coworkers and old classmates frequented. Even though he had a familiarity with it he hardly ever had the urge to enter, especially on his own. Something in him convinced him to pull in that night, though.
Iida took exactly three steps into the building before he saw her. She sat in a U-Shaped booth in the corner of the room, alone. The lighting did little for her (h/c) hair and her (s/c) skin, but her face, well, Iida doubted there was anything in the world that could take away from that beauty.
She radiated something like confidence. Her aura reading that she was perfectly capable of amusing herself, but still welcomed others to try their luck. Iida tried to remember a situation like this where he felt... intimidated, but still utterly intrigued.
He took another sip of the liquor he had been nursing and, as he looked up, made eye contact. Nearly spitting out his mouthful, he set his cup down. She smiled at him. Temptation filled the pit of his stomach. 'There's still time to walk away,' Said the part of him that knew better.
"Finally, you sure kept me waiting long enough." She said, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "You were waiting... for me?" He asked, his voice almost a whisper. "Since the second you walked in the door." She replied, gesturing for him to take a seat. Iida cleared his throat, "I, uh, wasn't sure you wanted anyone's company." He said as he took a seat, making sure to leave a respectable distance between them.
"I didn't." She said. An icy discomfort settled quickly over Iida as he scrambled over how to reply. "But, you're not just anyone." She reasoned. Iida felt conflicted. The reasonable part of him said that she wanted to keep his company because of his status or his wealth. The unreasonable part, the one who hardly ever spoke, told him it was because she felt the same connection he had too.
Before Iida could come up with any sort of idle chat, she spoke again, asking something that very much took him by surprise. "There's no way a heartbreaker like yourself is still," She paused, "Inexperienced, is there?" Iida's face nearly burst into flames. She laughed, almost coldly.
She scooted over, closing that respectful gap he had left between them inch by inch. He looked into her alluring eyes and began to feel unreasonably enticed to close the gap between their lips. "Am I being too forward? Do you want me to stop?" She asked. Iida looked down at her lips, leaning in. "No," He leaned further in and so did she.
Iida, never a romantic, felt for the first time what his friends had described to him. There were sparks and a connection he was certain they both felt. And before he could stop himself he was absolutely, unexplicably head over heels in love. Iida became overwhelmed by the urge to deepen their kiss. The urge to get the hell out of that booth and pin her against the wall in the nearest alley. Hell, he was on the verge of taking her then and there.
The next thing he knew they were in a hotel and he was being shoved onto the bed. Their clothes littered the flood and gentle touches suddenly became much rougher, much more demanding and needy. It was the kind of sex that leaves you breathless and wanting more. And they did have more, much much more. The feeling of his skin against hers, the sounds of her breathy moans, and her calling his name were still fresh in his mind the next morning when he woke up alone.
He briefly entertained the thought that maybe she was in the bathroom, but seeing her clothes gone confirmed it. Regret filled his head and heart. Iida threw his beliefs of courting someone before doing something so intimate aside for someone who didn't even give her name. More than anything, he was disappointed he wouldn't have the chance to pursue anything more with her.
Iida had but a brief moment to wallow in his pity before it started. In just a few minutes everyone in Japan knew about last night. Iida watched as the messages came flooding in. He clicked on the first article he had been sent, which came with a picture of the two of them entering the hotel together. If that hadn't been enough, the headline read:
Ingenium, Hero turned Homewrecker?

COLD SHEETS
Pairing: Denki Kaminari x Reader x Sero Hanta
Tags: Angst, Love triangle
Summary: After what seems like ages of being a lonely house spouse, your husbands best friend starts to check up on you. However, this innocent act quickly turns into something much more.
Misc: Cheater!Reader, HouseSpouse!Reader, Fem!Reader
A/N: part one maybe?
Master List || Prompt List
When you think of why this all started, it seems obvious. The two of you had long since drifted apart. Denki only ever came home to sleep, if he even felt the need to do that. The only time you even saw him was on T.V., surrounded by other much more beautiful women who were vital to his popularity, to his career. The world needed him as the Stun Gun hero, Chargebolt, but you needed him as your Denki. The bond the two of you shared was sacred. That’s why you knew you should feel guilty about what you had done -what you were doing- but that was the worst part; You didn’t.
You really had loved him when the two of you were younger. Perhaps it was because you were naïve and in love that made you think his messages and occasional thoughtful gifts would always be enough for you. However, the truth was the devastating loneliness of being a house wife was too much. It wasn’t that you didn’t try other things. You had hundreds of hobbies to fill the gap - but none of them could fill the gap he left. Except for one. When his best friend began to check up on you, that was the beginning of the end.
                                                             .
It hadn’t started as such, but your illicit affair with Sero Hanta quickly became hot and heavy. It was just sex. He was there to not only fill the gap that your husband's absence left in you, but to fill anything else you pleased. The first kiss was soft and tentative, but when you gave him the go ahead, it changed into so much more. It was fueled with longing and desire. It made you feel beautiful and wanted. His hands slowly made their way down from your face to your hips. His touch light and feathery.
You guided him to the bedroom and he laid you down. Your skin ached with lust as Sero touched you in all the right places. His tongue, his lips, his hips - it was all driving you over the edge. The both of you moved fluidly and in sync. He seemed to know your every want without you having to tell him. He left you breathless in a way that Denki never did.
     It was fine. You could stop yourself anytime you wanted. You were using Sero in Denki’s place the same way Sero was using you in the absence of a partner. At least that’s what you kept telling yourself, until, one day, you found yourself sitting across from him in public. Then came the glancing down at your hands and the urge to intertwine them. There were conversations that lasted for hours about everything and nothing all at once. The kissing grew gentler, the sex less frequent but somehow more fulfilling. Then the dreaded words that sent a shiver down your spine;
                                               “ I love you. ”
You weren’t even entirely sure he had meant to say it, it came out so casually. The conversation came to a standstill. Suddenly the background noises became unbearably loud. “I-”“Do you mean it?”
“Do you want me to?” Never before had you been so unsure of what your answer should be. “I have to think about-” “Hey!” Came a voice that used to be oh so familiar.
“Hey, Denki, what’s up, bro?” Hanta asked with a grin. You stiffened as you felt him come up behind you. “What’s this? Sero Hanta on a date?” He asked before getting a good look at who was sitting down. “Oh, (Y/n), what a surprise!” Denki exclaimed.
“What are you two doing together?” He asked, pulling up a chair. “Oh, you know, just talking about what the best way to dump you would be.” Sero said with a grin. Your breathing stopped. “Smartass.” Denki said, giving Sero a well placed punch in the shoulder. “Nah, just happened to run into each other while I was on patrol. Realized how long it’s been since we’ve seen each other and decided to catch up. How can we all work at the same agency and not talk to each other anymore?”
As Sero steered the conversation into more casual waters, your breathing returned to its normal pace. Denki, of course, spent only a couple minutes with them before getting recognized. “Ah, looks like my fans have found me and I am way too tired to do autographs today. Handle this for me while I walk my wife home, will you, Sero?” “Sure, what are friends for?”
You followed Denki to his parked car about a block away. “So did you and Sero get to catch up? What did you guys talk about?” The blonde asked. “About how much has changed since we were all in school, mostly.” You said, eyes trained on the window. A new feeling of unease grew in the pit of your stomach. Guilt.
You felt so guilty just sitting next to him. “(Y/n)?” “Huh?” “I said I’m sorry.” You had been so wrapped up in your anxious thoughts, you hadn’t even realized the car had long since come to a halt at your front door. “I know I’ve been gone for so long and we haven’t gotten any time together lately. I’m sorry.”
“O-Oh. Don’t worry about it Denki, I’m fine on my own.” You replied. “Of course, you are. You’re (F/n)(L/n), strongest hero in Japan.” He said. “But you shouldn’t have to do everything by yourself. I’m gonna take some time off so we can be together again.”
Tears welled up in your eyes as your anxiety and guilt reached their peak. His arms wrapped around you, bringing you into a gentle embrace. “I know, I’ve missed you too, my love.”

Midnight Train
Pairing: Spider-Man (Peter Parker) x Reader
Tags: Angst
Summary: Two weeks after Peter gets injured as Spider-Man, Reader re-thinks what their relationship means for them and the city.
Misc: Gender-Neutral Reader
Word Count: 490
A/N: Title inspired by a Sam Smith song that came on as I finished writing this!
“I’m sorry,” Begins the inevitable speech. The one the two of you have been dreading. Things had dragged themselves out too long. The air between the two of you had changed. “I couldn’t pick you, even if I wanted to.” You said, face unreadable. “But you do.” Came Peter’s desperate cry.
‘I do.’ You thought helplessly. You steeled your voice. “I couldn’t possibly do that to you.”  “Yes, you could. I want you to (Y/n).” Replied the love of your life. You would give anything to be able to comfort him right now.
“I have to pick me, Peter.” Came your cold response. “Please, I’ll change anything- everything for you to stay.” He pleaded, his voice beginning to tremble. You made unwanted eye contact as you spoke. “It’s not enough.”
His warm chocolate eyes were swimming in pools of tears. You were breaking your best friends heart. ‘It’s better this way.’ You thought, hoping your resolve could carry you through the rest of this conversation.
‘You so desperately want to stay.’ Spoke your conscience. You shook your head, “It’s too late for us.” You thought aloud. “Am I really not enough for you?” He asked, his voice like splintering glass. “No.” You lied.
“I thought I gave you everything you wanted, (Y/n).” Your nails dug into the palm of your hand. “Why are you doing this?” He demanded. You needed to finish this, you weren’t going to last much longer. ‘I know I’m being selfish, but, still,’
“I love you, Peter.” You sighed sadly. “So stay!” He sobbed. Knowing you would never touch, laugh, or see Peter again made everything ache. Your lips longed for one last kiss, your arms for a last embrace, your lungs for one last side splintering laugh.
Your eyes began to well. You wished you could convey to him everything you were thinking. You wished you could tell him how much you wanted to take back everything you had said.
Your eyes glanced at the maroon gashes on his carmine tinged face,  the off-white cast on his leg, his broken brown eyes. You knew then that you really couldn’t do it again; Distract him, put him in danger. Since the two of you had started dating, whether he saw it or not, he had become overworked. His body couldn’t keep up with all of his responsibilities.
‘Beg me to stay,’ You thought, your stone heart crumbling beneath the weight of the guilt.  ‘Just one more time Peter.’ Your resolve had slowly withered away. “Don’t forget about your Spanish quiz, okay?” The joke fell flat in the smothering silence. The deafening quiet gave you your answer. It was time to go.
Maybe he would make the papers after his Stark internship. Maybe he would go on and become an Avenger like he wanted. Maybe this was the last time you would ever hear of him. All you knew for sure was Peter would move on. He would find someone better for him, and you were sorry it wasn’t you.
