“Her light threatened to own his darkness. But it wasn’t meant to die. It was meant to thrive. And grow. But her light could never dim enough to allow his shadows in.”
-two who could never be together. Her light and his darkness. They’d destroy each other.

Usually, people fear death. How much pain could someone be in to welcome it with open arms? Now who’s to decide who gets to lean into that embrace and who doesn’t?
But in the end it doesn’t even matter. We’ll all lock lips with death some day.

Death seems so fictional so far away. But when death is suddenly breathing down your neck, what are you to do?

Excerpt
Don’t like science? Don’t like politics? Need a false feeling of superiority towards other people? Religion seems to be the right path for you! Over the years, I have noticed that out in society, religion has only ever had a negative impact on people and events. If people are so obsessed with, doing certain things a certain way to please a ‘god’. Or doing good deeds to please a more superior being. Then what’s the point of doing those things, if they’re only done in fear of judgement.

Him
They don’t understand, nobody ever does. They never listen, I‘ve told them, but they’re just not getting it. Honeyed voices, consoling, but I hate the bitter sound.
He’s coming for me, today, I’ve been counting the days. The bells will start ringing soon.
My hands are tied, rendering me absolutely defenseless, and it's all their fault. Sitting duck in this padded room isn’t helping either.
He’ll be coming for them too, but sometimes when I say too much, he makes it hurt, then it's all a molten red, and I can’t think straight.
He tells me he has a plan, seared into my skin.
“N-N-No. P-P-Please, I d-d-did what you asked...”I can’t look. Painted blood. Bright lights. Screams. Hurts too much.
A silvery voice sliced through the room like a knife, “Killian, sweetheart. It’s time for you to take your medicine.”

The Best Music
Long ribbons, in shades of blue, wrapping up the sky like it's a present. It may take a long time to understand, but the darkness, of the night sky, is a gift too.
It is painted with long even strokes, slowly staining the sky. With a colour that could quite possibly match the mood of my soul. A pure midnight blue, varying in shades, from time to time. Dripping ink, smeared across the page. Stars are like cracks, in an otherwise perfectly smooth surface. They glint and sparkle, catching light, like sequins lost on a dress. The moon, switching its shape and casting an eerie glow, unpredictable. But constant, something you can always count on, forever. Fluffy grey clouds, come passing by occasionally. Only adding to the night’s somber mood. The night sky, flows on and on, like a pretty song, with the stars as lyrics. It’s so calming, the colour itself brings you some kind of relief. Whispering to you, that you’ve gotten through another day. It’s like there’s no responsibility, nothing to worry about. But at night, there's nothing you can do, and nothing to do. The night sky, seeps into your room at night, and envelopes you, in a cool embrace. So sweet and calming. Bringing you sleep, and dreams.
The night sky goes unappreciated, but when you really pay attention, you see how beautiful it can be. And if it were my choice, I’d make the night last forever.
