Whelp, I finally caved and wrote a longer-form fanfic. It isn’t like... MASSIVE, but it’s still sitting at over 17k words and 7 chapters. Far larger than my originally-intended 5k.

Here’s a blurb of the notes I put up with it:

So, what I've written up here is my own headcanon for how the first 3 months of Vaggie's new life in Hell plays out; healing from her injuries, the beginning of her relationship with Charlie, how she handles her abandonment and the trauma she's developed as a result of it. This also covers a few key points: how Vaggie came about being so devoted to Charlie's cause, their first kiss (which I transcribed from yet another comic I made and put up over on tumblr), her acquisition of the outfit and bow she wears in the show, and how Vaggie finds out and reacts to Charlie being the Princess of Hell. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. I tried really hard to make sure everything lines up with established canon, but I may have fudged the timeline or erred a bit here or there. It was an good exercise putting myself into a character's head.

I realize that Sir Pentious' redemption is likely going to be kept secret from Charlie for plot reasons in season 2, but until the canon is established, THIS is what's living rent-free in my head.

In all seriousness, the really fast reconciliation between Vaggie and Charlie was kinda upsetting to me in that they really didn't *talk* about the issue at all on screen. I understand fully that the low episode count was the likely reason for this. I know they HAD to talk about it at some point before the final battle, though. The entirely unnecessary full-demon rage glare Charlie was giving the defeated Lute seems to lend credence to that theory, at least. Charlie knew what Lute did to Vaggie, even beyond the battle bruises Vaggie had just gotten. Anywayyyy... this is my personal take on how that conversation went down. Used it as a fun experiment with a different coloring style, as well. Enjoy!!

Oh Hey! Another fanfic! This time it’s a two-parter. The first bit addressing Vaggie’s self-loathing and how Charlie tries to help. Anyone have good Chaggie mood Music??

Hey hazbin/chaggie fans. I've been meticulously cultivating a playlist on Spotify that makes me think of the Charlie/Vaggie dynamic (what the hell, making playlists for my ships, it really must be 2004 again). I'm shooting for stuff with lyrics that really fit them and could be sung singly from either of their points of view, or duets that could fit both. I've been listening to a lot of electronic stuff, and electro swing, so that's what i've got so far.

So, some examples I have on the playlist right now are:

Redemption Arc - Silva Hound, Elsie Lovelock (obviously this is a Charlie song) Born to Live - NINA (This is a Vaggie one)

Recognise - LAU (this could be both, but i think it fits Charlie better)

Maybe - Llynks, LukHash (this is another Vaggie, there's a lot of Vaggie songs on here....)

I would love to have more songs for it! So if you have any that you think would work, send them my way!! And yes, I have Angel With A Shotgun on here already... though it's the nightcore version.

I just love that even though these angels were here to straight up murder her and everyone she loves Charlie was STILL being her usual kind self; trying not to actually kill or even seriously hurt anyone. I think the only person she actually injured was Adam. The fireworks magic looked like it just incapacitated.

So, setting aside the fanart for a moment.

I recently had to fight with Photoshop because, despite my PC being an absolute tank with huge amounts of storage and scratch drive space, it was acting all bloated and lagging at simple tasks. After some hunting, I discovered that the program wasn't deleting temp files like it should have been. There were almost a dozen 16gb temp files on the scratch drive.

A then recalled this .png I made in a fit of rage for one of my discord servers a year or two ago and thought some folks on tumblr might enjoy it. I really malign that my industry is so dependent upon Photoshop (and that I have like 20 years of experience in photoshop and lack the time to master and become as efficient in another program at this point).

So, that sparked the need to draw a dance scene, which was inspired by A Song (seriously listen to this), and fueled by an IV drip of Electro Swing straight into my veins the entire time I was painting.

I *realllllyyy* need to see a dressed up Charlie next season or I am going to CRY. Also, Vaggie in a tux, eh??? EHHH??

As an aside, reconciling this dance pose with the height difference of these two was... a challenge.

Anyway, please enjoy this!
