Thank you, anon. There have been a lot of updates, but my ex husband is in jail, and facing four felony charges, and he's looking at a max of 70 years in prison. My son, well, he's on his way to healing, thankfully This painful experience has shown me what loving support we have in our lives, as well as people who have sadly walked in our shoes, one way or another. I'm thankful for that, at least.

I feel sick to my stomach

Tonight, my ex husband confessed to molesting our four year old son.  There is a lot of backstory, starting with my ex has severe mental health problems. Tonight, I had to report my ex husband, tomorrow the investigation will be launched by Child Welfare, and both kids will be fully examined by a team of child psychologists.  Tonight, my world collapsed, and shattered to a million unidentifiable pieces.  Tonight, and all nights before, I failed as a mother.  Tomorrow, and all days after, I will walk through hell before another soul touches either one of my children.
