i honestly think once you realize you don't need to follow any rules regarding art you become much happier with it. you don't need clean lineart, you don't even need lineart, you don't need to seamlessly blend everything to hide your brushstrokes and pencil lines - you can just create. you're allowed to post just your sketches or works you won't ever finish. it took me awhile to stop worrying so much because when i would it meant i couldn't focus on actually developing my art.

#it's so hard not to compare yourself to other artists online thats true! #but just trying to parrot their workflow and posting styles won't help you imho
