The Fourteenth Doctor's final words better be "I'm ready to go," or something along those lines to contrast with Tenth's "I don't want to go."
Not only would it allow both scenes to feel distinct and give 14th a standout moment that would have felt out of character for 10th, but going full circle like that is the only way Davies and Tennant can heal the psychic damage they both dealt to me over a decade ago.
At the 2023 Game Awards, Gonzo presented the award for Best Debut Indie Game with Geoff Keighley. He said he's been playing Tears of the Kingdom. He lost days following a Cucco up the hill. He also has a conspiracy that a lot of games released this year follow a chicken theme.
So apparently The Game Awards 2023 only gave the awards' recipients 30 seconds each to make their acceptance speeches, and half of the categories didn't even offer that opportunity before the presenters moved on. If that kind of restriction is being put on the alleged main event of your show then it should also apply to the guest presenters and reveal announcements.
Every year it gets harder to hide that this show is all about the ads and not actually honoring the hard work of developers in an industry that already undervalues them.
My tinfoil hat theory regarding Warner Bros' "Coyote Vs Acme" and Paramount/Nickelodeon's "Star Trek Prodigy" is that the point was always to cause an outrage and then use that demand to increase the asking price when shopping the distribution rights to Netflix or whomever ends up streaming "Coyote".
They may not be permanently vaulting these shows like some other finished-yet-canceled projects, but its still an incredibly scumming tactic to fish out more money.
