Okaaayyyy let me tell you one thing. I'm mad at Rhys! Yes the Rhys I live for, and that is because of how he dismissed Azriel from Elains room in the Azriels POV chapter! Like hello, your brother suffered for 500 years because he loved a female that would never love him back. And now he accually likes someone that clearly likes him back! And he is taking it like Azriel just wants to get laid? C’mon, I think we all know Azriel would never go for a nightstand withing a family, our batboy doesn't like that kind of drama. I really hope Rhys apologizes to Az and realizes his feelings are sincere in the next book or for Az to at least give Rhys some kind of silent treatment. He ordered Azriel to not see her.. Like she’s healing thanks to him, they both love each others company, why is he so dismissive of his brothers feeling when he suffered for so long. ?!!? Bdjsjfosjrdoallalshfi

Yes, Acotar 5 IS Elains book.

Sarah confirmed it in an Interview

"I planted seeds in Acosf for... Elain's book." were her (Maybe not exact but close enough) words, therefore confirming the next novel would be Elain's.

She said in other interviews that she was researching for Elain's book, so we now know that Elain will have nightmares of ivy crawling up her walls.(Creepy huh?)

We don't know who the second Pov will be(I'm assuming Az) but it will definitely focus on Elain, Like how Acosf focused on Nesta's journey but with Cassian as a second pov.

Let me preface this by saying this is LONG. 

After a second read through of ACOSF, I really think it’s clear that Elriel will be featured in the next book. Sooo, book by book, I’ve complied excerpts that show the progression of Elain and Azriel’s relationship and why I think the next book will feature them. I’m not going to be adding a lot of commentary, just my general interpretation of the scene. The excerpts speak for themselves.

Hi guys, so your girl has been in a horrible reading slump for months, and recently I started reading House of Earth and blood. Nothing gets me out of reading slump more than Sarah J Maas, but I have to say that, I'm halfway through the book and it still not picking up for me. I feel no chemistry between the main characters and the story seems a bit repetitive. I just wanted the loyal fandom to give me some motivation and a kick to read it further. Have you guys read it and what do you think about it? no spoilers, please❤️ xoxo

Honestly, this book amazed me. This was such an easy read, but by no means in a bad way! I loved the characters, their jokes, and the plot. It was truly a fantastic contemporary book. I think I will need some time to get over it. The idea behind it was marvelous. This book came into my life at the most convenient time. I'm myself, just like Shane (the main character) am an introvert that loves reading, twenty years old, and is about to start a new chapter of my life by studying in England. The only difference is that instead of Taylor Swift, I listen to Ariana Grande. After reading this story, I am more excited than anxious about starting University. And for that, I am so grateful to Christine for writing this book. It is also a very inspiring story about how everyone should follow their heart and do what feels right, because, in reality, there is no reset button. Again but better, I think there could not be a better title for this book. This book touches subjects like friendship, romance, and self-realization. It is perfect for adults in their twenties, which I think is very special because in most of the books the protagonists are either sixteen or eighteen (it always makes me feel old). It learns a lesson that not everything is over, and everyone can start again, whether its a career or a relationship. As a twenty-year-old that has books for friends and non-existent social life, this book helped me realize that University can be fun and now I am very much am looking forward to this new journey of my life.

P.S. I just got a new laptop, and his name is Pie. :P (people that read the book will know what I'm talking about.)

What is ACOTAR AU Week?(FAQ)

How will it work?

For one week during December (9th-15th), content creators will post something related to the chosen AU on the specified days.

What are the AUs?

Currently, we haven’t decided but we will announce them in advance, so everyone has time to create.

How do I sign up?

You can fill in this form here.

Would I have to post something everyday?

Nothing is compulsory. You do not have to post everyday and you can post as many or as little as you like.

What if I don’t finish my fic/art/edit on time for that day?

Then you can post it when you’re ready! Just use the tag #acotar au week and then tag which au/day you are creating for. (E.g. #acotar au week day 2 #soulmate au) Everything posted after the assigned day/week is still valid and will be added to the official masterlist! (side note: none of the AUs are currently confirmed, so day 2 may not be a soulmate au)

When will the AUs be announced?

Currently, we haven’t decided but we will let everyone know when we have. They will be announced at least 1 month in advance (maybe 2) so everyone will have time to create!

What if I don’t like the AU on a certain day?

If you don’t like the AU, then you don’t have to participate. Everything you do is up to you!

Would I have to post a fic or can I create something else?

It does not have to be a fic, it can be anything relating to the au. It could be fan art, headcanons, an edit etc.

If I write a fic, how long does it have to be?

As long as you want. It could be 10k or 500 words, we don’t mind! Anything you create is appreciated!

Does my content have to be Christmas related?

It does not have to be Christmas related. It would be ideal if it is themed around the holidays (it doesn’t have to Christmas, it could be any winter celebration) but if you don’t want to it’s up to you.

Hi! I was wondering if you would be interested in participating in an acotar au Week event? It‘s taking place around 9th-15th of December and each day will be dedicated to a different au. The idea is that people would post content (fics, art, edits etc) relating to the chosen au of the day.
