KNY MEN AND BEING AFRAID OF ROLLER COASTERS
Word count: 1355
characters: Tomioka, Uzui, Rengoku, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Tanjiro
category: fluff
T/w: none unless screaming and hand holding is one only just semi-descriptive heights and kissing ig
Who did I forget??
TOMIOKA GIYUU
-You loved amusement parks, and you loved dates, which was all something that Tomioka knew, and took serious note of.
-It seemed like he didn’t like such crowded, large places, though, and that made you a little uneasy, but whenever you asked him, he assured you that he was fine.
-it wasn’t the amusement park itself, though.
-You took him on a few rides, all while you laughed and smiled as if you were having the time of your life, and it wasn’t until hours later that you realized that maybe Tomioka wasn’t having as much fun as you.
-“You don’t really like it here, do you, Giyuu?” You asked after going on a particularly dizzy ride.
-“I’m fine, it’s fine,” Tomioka responded awfully quickly, avoiding your gaze, keeping his voice to a small whisper like he usually did.
-You studied him for a moment, and then, smiled with embarrassment and nervous humor.
-“You’re afraid of roller coasters, aren’t you?”
-It was so shocking to him that you’d found out how he’d feared the drops, and even with no response, you could assume you were correct from how he froze with surprised eyes.
-You intertwined his hand with yours. “You could’ve just told me that, Giyuu,” you laughed.
-No response, only his still embarrassed, shocked look.
-“Do you wanna go do something that’s a little farther away from the crowds?” You asked him, taking his hand and drawing it over your shoulder.
-He gently smiled. “Okay…”
ZENITSU AGATSUMA
-You and Zenitsu were having a great time at an amusement park, but then something sudden hit you in the first hour of that:
-“Zenitsu, we haven’t gone on any roller coasters.”
-Zenitsu laughed sheepishly. “Oh… we haven’t? How odd…”
-You had gone on teacup rides, merry-go-rounds, and bumper cars, but something about how Zenitsu completely avoided roller coasters in general.
-You had somehow convinced him to go on one with you,
-Though he clinged to you and whined the entire time while waiting in line, you were still very eager to go on your favorite sort of ride with him.
-He was shaking and mumbling to himself the entire time, shakily holding your hand to steady him as the roller coaster went up, higher and higher, and then, as it hit the fastest part to go down, he screamed.
-“HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU TALK ME INTO THIS, “Y/NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!”
“YOU’VE STILL GOT FREE WILL, ZEN!” You screamed in response, yelling over the ride. “YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO!!!!”
“YOU’RE LUCKY I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!” He continued to scream, but through the shrieks, he smiled a little.
KYOJURO RENGOKU
-Rengoku was extremely eager to go on every single thing he saw with you.
-He eagerly went on rides while laughing along with you, excitedly exploring the park with a smile on his face, like he always did.
-He’d bring you to food stalls just so he could buy you sweets, and though he never forced it on you, you could see how happy he was whenever he was eating mountains of snacks.
-He went on so many roller coasters with you, while laughing big and smiling even bigger.
-It was so much fun for you, to have Rengoku enjoy your favorite coasters as much as you did.
-It was after the ride with the 90 degree angle drop that Rengoku had seemed somewhat shook.
-He was still smiling, and all, but he didn’t seem right; his eyes were a little wider and his smile slightly faker.
 - “Did you enjoy that ride, Kyojuro?” You asked, concerned.
-“NOT AT ALL!” Rengoku laughed.
-“Did you like any of them?” -“NOT AT ALL!”
TENGEN UZUI
-Uzui was so big on prizes.
-he’d flamboyantly win you everything, and for a while, it made you so happy to see him being such a winner.
“I’ll get you that prize, y/n!” Uzui would announce, and then proceed to do so.
-But once your arms were full with toys and other prizes, you were a little tired of seeing Uzui win games.
-You ushered him over to a large roller coaster as soon as you could get him away from the game booths. You quickly got into line, and while waiting, Uzui soon stepped out of the line, and you followed with concern.
-“That ride is terribly unflashy,” Uzui said. “There are plenty of rides that are much more flashy that we could go on.”
-And you did, and for so long Uzui had avoided all roller coasters with the excuse of saying that they weren’t flamboyant or something along those lines.
-“Tengen, are you afraid of roller coasters?” You’d asked once you’d caught on to his mannerisms. “You’re avoiding them quite a bit… and I don’t think it’s because they’re ‘unflashy.’
-Uzui paused, and it was clear he was embarrassed. He laughed heavily, covering his eyes.
“How unflamboyant of I.”
INOSUKE HASHIRIBA
-He was so youthfully excited as he pranced around the amusement park, almost like he’d never been to one, or hadn’t in a long time.
-He was excited to go on every ride he could see with you, and you’d started out with smaller rides and then began to take him on bigger, scarier rides, and he’d enjoyed all of those rides with such enthusiasm.
-And then came the roller coasters.
-You’d risen higher and higher on the ride, and you could feel Inosuke’s breathing increase as he anxiously reached the top.
-You steadily reached for his hand once you realized that his expression was fear and anxiety, not excitement like you’d firstly assumed.
-When the drop hit, he yelled and rocked back and forth like a child, smiling and seeming excited and scared at the same time.
-as much as it seemed like he was having fun, something about the way he was just didn’t feel right to you.
-You two got off of the ride, and he gripped your hand tighter as he looked at the roller coaster.
-“Did it scare you, Inosuke?” You asked with worry. “We don’t have to go on them anymore if you don’t like roller coasters.”
-“It didn’t scare me at all, y/n, because I’m not scared of anything!” He boasted. “It only felt like my heart and stomach had switched places, but I was not scared at all! Let’s not go on anymore, though!”
-You couldn’t tell if he was pretending to be strong or if he really didn’t think he was scared, but either way, you weren’t going on any more roller coasters with him.
TANJIRO KAMADO
-He was such a sweetheart the whole time, and genuinely tried his hardest to make sure you were having a great time.
-It varied from trying to win you prizes, no matter how bad he was at the game, or trying to make you smile by doing whatever he could.
-You loved him so much for that, and it made you so happy. You really wanted to go on the roller coasters, though, and something about you made you feel like Tanjiro didn’t have that same eagerness, though.
-Once Tanjiro had noticed the glistening of your eyes whenever you looked at roller coasters, he was determined to go on one with you.
-He was extremely scared the whole time on the coaster, from his heavy breathing to anxious screams on the steep ups and downs.
-Once you’d gotten off of the ride, you’d looked at his expression, which was dizzy and shocked.
-How bad you’d felt for making him go through that, and how bad Tanjiro felt for causing you such worry!
-“If you were afraid of roller coasters, you shouldn’t have gone on one,” You told Tanjiro with a huff. “This isn’t just about me, you’re important too.”
-“I want you to be happy,” Tanjiro explained.
-“I want the same for you, so don’t scare yourself half to death just to see me smile!” You whined. “You’re so selfless! Ugh!!”
-“Seeing your smile is worth scaring myself half,” Tanjiro responded without missing a beat.
-You shook him flusteredly, exclaiming with embarrassment and appreciation.

REIGEN X READER: COSTUME
(There’s not really a specified gender, I was thinking of a girl though because leotard. Also Reigen dirty mind headcanon)
Word count: 242(fairly short because this is a boredom story)
Tumblr media
You wanted to find a good costume for Halloween. Some of your friends were planning a costume party for that day, and you were excited. Yes, you knew it was fairly early in the month, but the costumes were mostly cheap a while before Halloween began, and so you wanted to buy it early.
“Ren!” You announced, pushing your phone into Reigen’s face, making him pause the T.V. “What do you think of this costume?”
You wanted to go as a devil of some sort, and that was all you had planned at the moment. The costume you had on your phone was a leotard with a devil tail hanging out from it and fishnet stockings, with little red wings on the shoulders.
“It’s cute,” He said dismissively.
“Yes, I know,” You responded. “How do you think I would look in it?”
Then Reigen looked up with some surprise. “You… in that?”
“Yes.”
“You would look sexy,” Reigen responded. “But you know what would make it even better? A sweater and pants. No one is allowed to look at you like that except for me.”
“Come on, Reigen,” You pleaded. “It’s cheap and I like it.”
“Fine,” Reigen huffed. “But wherever you’re going in that, I’m going with you.”
“Great!” You walked off, ordering the costume while humming a gentle tune with pride.
“Keep it in the closet after, though!” Reigen called. “We might have to use that… for other things.”

CUDDLING
tanjiro x gender neutral reader
Gosh y’all I am so sorry but I am a simp and Tanjiro is in my head
word count: 1204
Tumblr media
Tanjiro and you were inseparable. You two were absolutely in love, though you never admitted it to one another. Your true emotions were never put into actions or words until your arrival at the butterfly mansion. Mount Natagumo had messed the two of you up, and while Tanjiro healed from his physical injuries, you were stuck healing from the ones in your head.
You could never forget the overall experience when you were on that mountain. How you weren’t strong enough to fight Rui, and Tanjiro was stuck protecting both you and Nezuko. So much shock ran through your brain when you watched the two of them nearly kill the lower moon, and then seeing the hashira proceed to. The whole time upon being brought to the butterfly mansion, you could only stir over how you didn’t do anything to help Tanjiro.
You were diagnosed with some broken ribs, which Shinobu and her helpers could easily fix. They had, of course, and you were expected to return to training. You couldn’t focus on training easily without watching Tanjiro yourself. You were always stumped, seeing him grow stronger, even after experiencing all that, and then there was you, who still stirred over something that you hadn’t even experienced so detailed, like Tanjiro had.
On top of recovering from your broken ribs, you were faced with another foe: those terrifying nightmares. Every night, the scene of seeing someone you loved so dearly get so hurt and even get so close to death haunted you.  You’d never told anyone, though. You didn’t want to bother anyone at the butterfly mansion with your problems yet again. Every night, you found yourself sitting up in your bed, only being able to stare at the peacefully sleeping others and wishing that you, again, had done more to help.
At first, you hadn’t spent much time with Tanjiro. He was always off training with Zenitsu and Inosuke, and you couldn’t figure out how to join it again. It was suddenly awkward between you and Tanjiro, and that awkwardness soon turned into guilt. It was a recurring feeling of why didn’t I do that? endlessly whenever you were around him.
It had then gotten a little more comfortable, with the two of you having the ability to talk normally again to each other. As much as Tanjiro seemed to be able to get over what had happened at Mount Natagumo, you truly never could. Though you smiled while conversing, it still hurt somehow, seeing Tanjiro trying to recover with such dedication.
How many near-death experiences would it take for Tanjiro to lose that?
You didn’t want to imagine an unhappy Tanjiro.
But it still haunted you every night, against your will.
You slowly sat up from your bed, your blanket falling down from your shoulders. Moonlight leaked through the windows as you wiped the loose tears from your eyes. Zenitsu was asleep, and as far as you could tell, Inosuke was, too. The only one who was awake was Tanjiro, as he stared up at the ceiling blankly.
“Tanjiro?” You whispered, getting off of your bed as it creaked. “Are… are you awake?”
Silence covered the room, before Tanjiro slowly muttered a response. “Mhm. You’re up late, y/n.” He turned in his own bed to face yours. Are you alright?”
You slowly walked past Inosuke and Zenitsu’s bed, and then kneeled against Tanjiro’s, propping your elbows on the soft mattress. You and Tanjiro were now inches away from touching noses, and his drooping, tired eyes didn’t take a toll on his overall cuteness.
“I…” You trailed off, unable to find words to describe how you felt for him. “I hate those damn spider demons.” You ended up tiredly laughing as hot tears formed in your eyes. “I haven’t been able to function since. I hate what they did to you, and more… I hate how I couldn’t…” You weren’t able to finish the sentence as the choking feeling rose in your throat. “I should’ve helped you a lot more than I did.”
“y/n.” Tanjiro lifted his head up and crossed his arms. “Don’t worry about what happened to me. I’m really, really happy that you didn’t get as hurt as the rest of us.”
You felt emotion rush over you as you lowered your head into Tanjiro’s mattress. Many thoughts raced through your mind. You still knew you hadn’t done as much as he had, you knew that you were causing him trouble, you knew that he was as awake as you, but the only thing that really stayed with you was how relieved you somehow felt. Tanjiro, even in his own, hurt state, was still happy that you weren’t hurt.
It made your heart beat faster than it ever had before.
“I haven’t slept well in so long. I’m tired, Tanjiro.” You spoke slowly, voice muffled by the mattress. “I’ve had these shit nightmares since we got here.”
“I know.” Tanjiro chuckled softly. “It’s fine to talk about them, you know. It helps calm the nerves sometimes to talk about what scares you,” he explained, in his normal, calm voice. “It helps me feel safe sometimes, and it sure helped my siblings a bit.”
“Can I… erhm, can I sleep with you tonight? In your bed?”
Tanjiro paused for a moment, and though you couldn’t see his face, you heard him inhale as if he was surprised. “Would that make you feel safer?”
“It would.” You slowly lifted your head from the mattress, strands of your hair hanging over your face. “Is it alright with you?”
“It’s fine, y/n. C’mere.”
You crawled under the covers with Tanjiro, slowly adjusting yourself into a comfortable position. You ended up with Tanjiro’s chest slowly rising and sinking in your face, and in your tired, scared, flustered state, you wrapped your arms around his body.
Your eyelids fluttered as you slowly dozed off. Tanjiro began to slowly caress your head soothingly. He ended up always being soothing, and it was something you had never focused on before until that exact moment.
“y/n? Are you asleep?”
You didn’t respond.
“Hah…” Tanjiro quietly laughed. “If they knew how much I love them…”
It was the last sentence you heard before drifting asleep.
Quiet, hushed talking woke you up. You slowly blinked, and realized you’d never moved from your spot, which was pushed into Tanjiro’s chest. You slowly pushed yourself away from Tanjiro and sat up.
Morning light twinkled against stray pieces of dust floating in the air. You rubbed your eyes, and the person in front of you came into focus. Zenitsu stared at you and Tanjiro, who was still asleep, with slight disgust. You felt your face grow hot and flush as you tried to make words come to your mouth.
“Don’t say anything,” Zenitsu held up a finger. “I don’t want to know what you two did last night… all I can say is… thanks for being quiet.”
You would’ve protested against what Zenitsu was referencing, but instead, you just quietly laughed and turned to Tanjiro. He looked so peaceful and calm, and you couldn’t help but smile at him.
I love this guy so much.

Middle School Crush ❤️
pairing: Kageyama “Mob” x Teruki Hanzawa
It’s not proofread ahaha so there might be some mistakes
word count: 558
Tumblr media
Whenever Mob thought about Teru, it felt almost the same as it did when he thought about Tsubomi. It proved harder to bear a crush on someone when the two were close. Teru and Mob walked home together on the days they could, and what once was a wholesome friendship now made Mob hide his face in embarrassment when he thought about it. He could barely survive walking home with Teru with his heart beating too fast to bear.
“Kageyama, are you okay?” Teru asked, leaning into Mob’s face. “You’ve been so quiet this whole time and you’re looking worried.”
Mob tensed up and jumped flusteredly . “Uhh… mhm.”
Teru studied Mob further for a second, and then smiled and returned to his place beside him. “What a relief. You looked like you were thinking about something serious. I can’t have you being serious again. It gets me worried, y’know?”
Mob’s face reddened as he nodded in reply. “Right… I'm sorry, Hanazawa. I didn’t mean to worry you.”
Teru laughed but didn’t say anything in reply, however, Mob noticed the gentle, subtle flush in Teru’s face that made his eyes widen. Teru was flirtatious towards everyone- or rather, every girl- he’d met, apparently, and had never seemed to care besides taking pride in it. Mob had never seen Teru really flush like it had at the moment.
“Hanazawa, you’re turning red.” Mob pointed out.
Teru grabbed his mouth with his hand as his cheeks grew redder than they had been. “I… I am? I… wasn’t aware of that. Haha.”
Mob wasn’t expecting that reaction out of Teru. Yes, he knew about Teru’s flamboyance, and how he had much more emotion than Mob ever would, but he’d never seen Teru seem embarrassed, excluding when Mob had ripped off all of his clothing. But besides that single time, Teru was always flirtatious and never regretted it.
Which is why it felt so weird to see him flustered.
“Shishou, how do I know if someone likes me?”
The remains of an exorcized ghost sparkled like stardust as they flew past Reigen and Mob.  Reigen paused for a moment, as if Mob’s words were weighing in his head. Then he jumped and looked at Mob, shock sparkling in his eyes.
“Mob, you think someone likes you? That’s surprising.” Reigen smiled. “Who? Is it a girl?”
Mob stared out into the distance, not answering Reigen’s question. “Rather, how do I know if I like someone?”
Reigen’s expression changed, it somehow seemed to be more serious. Mob looked up at Reigen with surprise; he didn’t expect him to become so serious.
“Well, Mob, it all depends on who it is.” Reigen looked down at Mob with his dark brown eyes shining. “Who is it?”
“Hanazawa…” Mob mumbled.
Reigen became shocked yet again, but a humorous sort of shock, as he was laughing and making a big deal out of it. It made Mob flustered and uncomfortable at first, but he grew to think it was funny too, gently smiling and giggling alongside his master.
“Mob, there’s no way this kid doesn’t like you.” Reigen put his hand on Mob’s shoulder. “And if you think you like him… then that’s your decision. All you need to do is trust yourself. That’s all.”
And in the way Reigen always did, he made Mob’s eyes sparkle with admiration as he smiled.
“Mhm.”

Mob x Reader: A love curse
Just a little story since the only thing in my head is mob right now… dying for the third season
word count: 676
Tumblr media
You’d never think you’d catch feelings for the shy little Mob Kageyama, who froze when talking in front of the school. You and your friends had laughed at Mob and acted like you’d never see him again, but you knew a lot more about yourself than your friends did. As much as you laughed it off, you couldn’t deny it.
Mob was cute as hell.
From that moment, you tried your hardest to not acknowledge how hot your face got whenever you saw him in your peripheral vision, and how you’d stay up all night thinking about little moments that you couldn’t get out of your head.
How when he drank little cartons of milk at lunch, he’d smile so peacefully that it was really cute. How he’d fidget when he didn’t know the answer to a question, or how whenever he locked eyes with you, he’d tense up with flushed cheeks. Or how hard he tried with his athletic group, which you sometimes saw running as you walked home. Mob was always trying his hardest, and you couldn’t help but get stuck on that.
But you couldn’t ever admit that there was even the smallest chance that you’d caught feelings for someone you’d barely talked to, nevertheless someone that had been a laughingstock between you and your friend group.
Which was the exact reason why you were convinced you had a curse on you.
“A love curse?” Reigen Arataka questioned, leaning over his desk, intertwining his fingers.
You’d gone to the Spirits and Such Consultation Office to try and remove the curse that you had assumed was on your shoulders. “Yes… I was wondering if you could remove it. Ever since this curse was put on me, I don’t think I’ve been able to get them out of my head.”
Reigen looked to his left, slightly smirking. “Ahah… well, we’ll see what we can do.” He turned behind him, making you sit up straighter in surprise.
Could it be… this guy’s a real esper? No other exorcist had been able to remove this.
“Oi, Mob. We’ve got a client.” Reigen called.
You felt your cheeks grow warm at the mention of the familiar name, and you looked to see your classmate entering the room and locking eyes with you before clenching his fist. You felt your eye twitch as you breathed out a hot breath.
“Hi, Mob…”
Mob glanced from left to right as he nodded in response. You felt your heart beat faster as you avoided eye contact with the black-haired boy. There it was, the knotted stomach, the beating heart, the warm cheeks. You were being affected by that damn curse again.
“Can you check for a curse on them?” Reigen asked, to which Mob responded with a nod.
He stood there, blankly for a moment, and then whispered to Reigen something barely audible. “Y/n doesn’t have a curse on them…”
You felt yourself tighten.
“Oh?” Reigen looked at you, and then at Mob, confused. “Can’t you just, make something up?” Reigen asked Mob in a hushed tone, between clenched teeth.
“If I don’t have a curse on me, am I alright? Is it okay for me to go, after paying?” You asked.
Reigen stared at you, studied you for a moment, and then smiled. “Yes, of course. That’s alright. I’ll work out the details of our fees and such.”
While you and Reigen talked, you couldn’t help but occasionally glance at Mob, who seemed to be blank, not really feeling much. You bit the nail off your thumb as you studied him intently, barely able to handle the flipping of your stomach and the warmth of your body.
You walked outside of Reigen’s office once all was done, and you exhaled deeply. For some reason, such a detailed (despite its simplicity, in fact) encounter with Mob left you struggled to breathe.
Mob casted this love curse on you. That was the only explanation. You didn’t have a crush on him, not at all. It was just the curse that he casted. That would be the only explanation, since you knew you had a curse on you, and Mob said he didn’t see a curse. He casted the terrible love curse on you. Nothing else.
right?
