I just received my copy today and I was wondering what the japanese text on the top says? Im just curious and cant translate it on my own ^^;;

Glad to hear your copy arrived safely! The Japanese text on the top basically says "Playbill" like a program for a Broadway musical (perhaps more accurately translated, the text says "Pamphlet", but it was as close as we could get). Thanks for asking!

Digital copies are still available as well, but those sales will be closed at the same time as physical sales -- this Saturday August 14th. There may be one final opportunity to buy extras, but don’t count on it!

Also, we’ve added an option to buy B-grade zines at a discounted cost! B-grade zines have minor bends to the cover and/or pages but are otherwise in good condition.

hello! no rush, i know you posted an update not too long ago, but i was wondering what stage of production the zine is at now & when you estimate something like the pdf will be sent out?

Hi there! Our apologies for the lack of communication about the process. All physical orders have been mailed out! The digital orders will be sent out very soon - we're resolving an issue with PDF credits that didn't make it to the physical copy - but those should be sent out within a week (approximately mid- to late July).

After that, we'll have leftover sales in late August or early September, as our shipping mod is traveling for most of August. Hope this helps!

We have finally received the books and are ready to ship all orders! Everything looks absolutely gorgeous and we’re super excited to send bundles out this weekend. Thanks so much for your patience - we hope you enjoy the content once it arrives!

The zine has been ordered!! It should be arriving in a few weeks (estimated May 17th) and orders will be shipped out the week after that.

CHARMS ARE HERE!

We got the charms yesterday which means that all merch items have now been received!! We’ll be sending out merch-only bundles in the next week - given the previous delays, I’d like to just send them out ASAP (also because my house is filled with boxes haha). All other orders are awaiting the books; I’ll start packing those as well so I can mail them as soon as the books are received.

Formatting is nearly done - Mod Snowey had a death in the family but hopefully will be able to complete the PDF in the next week or so. All that’s left are contributor credits and then we’ll be good to print!

Once again, thank you SO much for your patience and support. I know it’s tough to trust random people on the Internet saying “I swear I didn’t take your money” (I get it), but we’re super close to getting the final products sent out. Mid-March update – Mod Maya is back and helped fix up the charm design! Assuming we have no other fixes to make, we should get the charms into production this week 🥳

Mod Snowey is finishing up credits formatting, so once we’ve run it by contributors to make sure everything is up-to-date, we should be good to order those as well!

One last thing – because preorders were >6 months ago, Paypal has marked all orders as shipped, meaning we can’t directly issue refunds. That said, if you still want a refund, send us an email at bnhamusicalszine [at] gmail [dot] com and we’ll see what we can do. Thanks for your patience!

I don't want to ask for a refund, but I'm also super concerned about the fact that I ordered in August and the zine still isn't formatted. Is there a reason that it's been put off for so long? This is very concerning.

Hi anon, I understand your concerns and I share them as well. The reason for the long formatting period is that our original formatting mod had to step back from the zine in December. Our finance mod, Snowey, volunteered to take over the formatting but has been really busy with school work. Snowey has shown me a drafted PDF and has been working on the credits, but I will be sure to keep poking them until we can get the zines ordered. I am really really sorry for the delay, but at the moment there’s very little else I can do beyond asking for updates from Snowey.

Late February/early March update -- our charm manufacturer was on hold for Lunar New Year, so we got delayed on confirming those designs. Hopefully once we fix this last issue they’ll be ready for production!

Also, Mod Elphaba (Maya, our original formatting mod) may end up completing the zine formatting once her midterms are over (by the end of the week). Ideally we can get those finished up and ordered in a few weeks as well. Sorry for all the delays, but it looks like we’re almost at the end!
