I had a blast talking shop with digital illustration students at the FutureReady Teens program from MCAD Continuing Ed this weekend — big thanks to John Barlow for inviting me as a guest speaker!
I shared how experimenting with traditional media and printmaking has changed my approach to digital illustration. For example, this silkscreen-inspired illustration for the Star Tribune was created using just blue, pink, and yellow — my brain loves constraints, deadlines, and limited palettes!
