I've recently adopted a mindset to digital painting even though I suck at it. I do it when I've had a stressful day and it's like therapy for me. So, it doesn't have to be good since I enjoy doing it. I'm trying to apply that to my writing too.

With a new light flickering in my chest, I push the door open a little wider than I did the first time, deciding that, maybe, Tumblr is the one place I might truly nestle in for the rest of the end days. I am aware of its reputation but I have hope. I wince upon entering the room as my right arm hangs in a sling and my vision is obscured by a bandage. It can't be worse than what that bird has done to me, can it?
